I'm gonna play a little more to see what there is further in the game.

I like the turn by turn system, it reminds me of some tactical rpgs that I love (FF Crystal Chronicles, Disgaea).

The chat is only in russian, the game must be quite popular there.

Can we have some data on Lordmancer I and on the beta of Lordmancer II ?

If am not mistaken, the beta release is only in Russian .With more adoption, i would think they will implement other languages.

The actual version has text in english. You should try it, that's quite nice. I'm playing a little and I'll add more comments about it.  I was just talking about the chat communication for the russian part.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀[ANN][PRESALE] Snapup - A revolutionary way to shop for premium products on: August 15, 2017, 11:13:56 PM
Ok but mathematically you can't purchase products at a lower price in the long run. If you participate in thousands of events, at some point your losses should be averaged with your savings and overall result in paying the original price of the product. When you save, someone has to pay, and when you pay, someone can save.

Would anyone from the team mind commenting on this? It is not precisely true to say that you could shop premium products at lower prices. Someone has to pay for your benefit, and in the end the community in aggregate didn't save a penny. In the long run, even an individual shouldn't be able to save money. Correct me if I am wrong please.

That was one of the question I had on the french ANN. It was said it would be answered during the Q&A session, but maybe I did not hear the answer since I was anwering some questions in the chat.

I'm interested in the answer too.

I would like to know how it goes  Grin

So after playing a little :

- The map need to be improved, quite hard to know where we sould go

- A more detailed tutorial, we don t know what troops do, and what is the use of our hero

That's it for the moment. That's just a beta so I think it will be improved a lot  Smiley

I downloaded the game.

Quite fun, maybe more explanation about the combat system at the beginning could be good.

The graphism are quite nice.

The gameplay makes me think of dofus, make me quite nostalgic  Smiley

I'm gonna play a little more  Smiley Smiley

Is there a demo trailrer of this game? I would like to watch...  Roll Eyes

Yes, it's written in the first lines of the first post : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mgdfK0lS40

There is in-game footages, I think that's what you're asking for.

Interesting items, I like RPG games, in the game which can get LC coins? How to get?

You can purchase LC on exchange, website or via crystal like explained above.

Or you can just play the game, and trade your stuff against LC.

There must be some kind of shop for this tokens. If there wasn't one, currency would be worthless

it is ERC20 so it will be easily purchased that over 0x interface

I know that this is ERC20, but I was thinking of in-game shop. Because as far as I know this will be in-game currency.

There will be an in-game system to buy tokens while playing the game. You buy crystal via app store in game then you convert them to LC. But it will be equivalent to 4 times the price on the market. So not really interesting.

Thank you for explaining. So how can we obtain crystal besides buying it on the market?

Crystal can only be obtained with fiat money in-game via appstore and google play store.

So basically the best way to buy them with Lord Coinss is to exchange them for fiat and then buy on app store/android market? Or am I missing something?

I think you're missing something. There will be two currencies, Lords Coins and Crystal. Lord Coin is the cryptocurrency. It can be obtained on the exchanges at the market price, on the website of LordMancer but you pay 50% more than the marketprice, or you can buy crystal which is a different currency in game with fiat money, then exchange those crystals against Lord coins but you'll pay 4 times the martket price by doing this.

Yes, but for investors, who want to sell tokens, exchanges or shops would be more attractive...

There will be exchanges, it's written in the whitepaper. It's a cryptocurrency, it will always hit some exchanges ...

And what are you talking about, selling tokens in a shop ?
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lordmancer II - a mobile MMO RPG where a player can mine cryptocurrency on: August 15, 2017, 04:30:58 PM
The idea sounds good, ive read the whitepaper. But i do not have found much informations for Investors, who are more interested in an investment, than in the Game itself. Especial the expected increase of value of the coin. Can someone help me?

The value is expected to raise because with every transaction, 20% will be used for fees. 10% will go the devs and 10% will be burned. When a player buys a item in the game (to an NPC), 90% is burned and 10% go to developpers. So the total of tokens will decrease, inscreasing its value at the same time.

And I think the value will be linked to the popularity of the game too.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lordmancer II - a mobile MMO RPG where a player can mine cryptocurrency on: August 15, 2017, 04:26:24 PM
Mining while playing is nice idea but, what about the hash rate? It won't be much on a mobile device.

Your phone is not used for mining.

To get the crypto in the game you need to pay for real money.

In the whitepaper they say that there is 3 ways (Website, exchange and inside game with appstore system) and are not talking about directly gaining some in the games, but if there is a market between players and the official currency of the game is the token, I think that a player can win tokens by selling his stuff for tokens.

Edit : After reading again, I confirm, there is a market in the game in which players can make transactions between themselves.

Ah and my second question :

I don't really play on mobile even If I will surely give it a try.

Are you interested in developping on PC ?

I would really be interested as an MMORPG player in a non p2w game with an economy based on cryptocurrencies.

There are plenty of PC emulators that allow you to run android games just fine like bluestacks and they work really well. But I also hope they will make a PC version, probably wouldn't be that difficult.

Well I was talking of "PC quality" games like Rift, League of legends, WoW ... I'm not really interested in playing a mobile app on my computer.

I tried some games on phone, but I don't know, it does not really do it for me, even if the market is growing at a fast pace.

In Russia on in Russian language? Because russian its my second language, but Im not from Russia  Roll Eyes Undecided

Since the soft launch was in Russia and in CIS countries, I think the full version will be launched in CIS countries too. But I'm not sure, the dev will answer this. But you just have to read the whitepaper.

I have one question, as a MMORPG player, I don't like when paying give you and advatange against non-paying users :

In one part of the whitepaper you say that tokens will be used to buy legendary items and weapons, are you not afraid that this system transforms your game in a pay-2-Win, which a lot of players don't like ?
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lordmancer II - a mobile MMO RPG where a player can mine cryptocurrency on: August 15, 2017, 03:55:55 PM
Lordmancer II  - so Lordmancer 1 already issued? Its updated version? If yes, may I plaing also in first version?

It's written in the ANN :

Why is it "II"?
In 2008 the team launched Lordmancer I. It was one of the first online games on Java featurephones! It was a free-to-play game with the same main fetures: syncronous PvP, an expandable game world, open market, and clan wars. And the most exiting fact is that Lordmancer I is still alive! lordmancer.com
