1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: March 27, 2023, 05:50:56 PM
To everyone in crypto currency, the bear market is one market where fuds and panic triumph and reign which greatly affects the prices of crypto currency tokens, and yes some projects do not recover from the bear burdens.

But do you know that the bear market is a blessing in disguise for every investors that is prepared and has been waiting for the dump ? So many tokens are going to touch lower lows, and if you are prepared, you can key into this tokens and more than double your money when the bull run is here. The dump is your friend, and is a blessing if you are always ready and prepared for it.

Make sure to look into quality tokens and projects, and ofcourse dyor

It obviously a big opportunity for a lot of investors, bear market could easily attract a lot of investors since in the future it could easily be a profit when the bull run comes in the market. I am still accumulating bitcoin and I hope the bear market doesn't end yet since I don't have enough bitcoin I think I could easily make a huge profit soon so I want to buy more bitcoin, but I can just buy because I don't really have big amount of money already that I could invest, so I just wait until payday then buy a little bit of bitcoin to accumulate more.

The market is having a lot of movement lately so I'm afraid that it may skyrocket at any moment, I mean only newbies will attempt to buy bitcoin when the Bullrun comes, this is obviously the perfect timing for investors to buy and invest not on the bull run because buying bitcoin or any cryptocurrency in Bullrun has a very high risk compared to the risk of the bear market. Do not sell your bitcoin since you are still early you could easily sell it soon on Bullrun for a much higher profit.

1305  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you describe bitcoin to a newbie? on: March 27, 2023, 06:40:59 AM
Good day everyone

I've been having challenges trying to understand the concepts of bitcoin.
When the terms bitcoin and blockchain are mentioned,a number of terminologies are been
Displayed and can be quite confusing. The blockchain and  bitcoin has always been challenging as I'm
Learning for the first time.It will take a long time and effort to understand the notion of cryptocurrency.
Can somebody assist me in anyway?

I mean if you're going to explain it to someone that had no idea about bitcoin all you need to do is just explain what bitcoin does as a beginner it will be easy to absorb and learn by anyone. You could easily teach them what bitcoin does by explaining the things that you do to bitcoin and how they can use bitcoin to earn, Just the introduction of bitcoin as a digital currency and teaching them about trading. If you are going to teach them how bitcoin works it might get complicated to explain the process and could turn them down, but if you just teach them what can you do on bitcoin they might get interested in it and learn how it works on their selves.

Also, one of the best things to do to easily learn bitcoin is just to try buying one and start investing already, since experience is the best teacher, explaining it to someone could just complicate things just guide them not to invest and risk everything on cryptocurrency.
1306  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why you should trade reviews of crypto YouTubers with caution on: March 26, 2023, 03:50:43 PM
Most of the crypto Youtubers are obviously paid especially on small projects that don't have enough recognition, They usually pay youtube to make a great review about their scheme or scam websites then a lot of people will be scammed by these scammers. I mean they are on a lot of social media platforms, especially Twitter, if you subscribe to crypto projects on Twitter you can see a lot of scams and suspicious promotions. Also, I think one of the problems is they want you to invest in something but doest want to be reliable to your funds.

You wouldn't really invest in something just because you want a simple youtube video about it, you would still do a lot of research about it first before investing in it, and any red flags would be a sign that there is something suspicious about it. I guess just don't rely on youtube reviews too much.

There are still a lot of great YouTubers that I watch whom I learn a lot from, especially on their content about investing, cryptocurrency, etc. I watch Andrei Jikh and Graham Stephen.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: March 25, 2023, 03:29:12 AM
I am wondering what the fate of projects like Volt inu, Baby Doge and other meme coins would have been if Elon Musk never supported Doge coin, would Shiba inu ever made it to top 20? What would have happen to meme coins? Will there ever be any if Elon never existed?

There was no use for this project or token I mean it is a meme token after all so these projects are surely going to die over time. There are actually thousands of meme tokens in the market, Dogecoin and other meme projects are launching something like ELONcoin, etc. those projects are surely dead since they are just all hype, most of these tokens have a low market price so the profit on this token is actually high when the market starts to take off and there is some risk taker who actually invests on this token especially if it is hype by a lot of influencers. But when the hype is done and early buyers already take profit theirs no point to invest in these coins it doesn't have a use.

I surely don't believe the Dogecoin movement and other high-rank meme tokens, there is some news where dogecoin will get its own use in the crypto space but I don't know if that continued. There will be Dogecoin for sure without Elon Musk but for sure dogecoin will not get a huge community and market price boost if Elon Musk doesn't hype the community that's actually a lot of investors regret.
1308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel bad while paying with BTC? on: March 25, 2023, 02:22:52 AM
Hello everyone!
Recently I was thinking about BTC payments and I believe that the system is moving towards bitcoin adoption and paying with bitcoin. And it's great!

But the problem for me is that anytime I think about paying with BTC I feel somehow uncomfortable. I always remember the guy who spent 30+ bitcoins on pizza and now these bitcoins are worth a fortune. Like I don't want to be this guy and pay with an asset that WILL go up in price. It feels like you paying more for the product from a future perspective.

What are your thoughts about this? Personally, I usually try to buy with stablecoins if I have some, it just feels more natural for me. I don't want to touch my BTC while the market is still bad.

I completely understand how to feel  Grin, it's always a pain selling your bitcoin because it's an investment and could easily increase its price over time, you could easily regret it, especially when you do it on a bear market at times like this.

That's why for me bitcoin is just an investment at the moment, not a digital currency that you can use in transactions, Right now bitcoin market price is so volatile so you wouldn't really want to use a digital currency that has a risky market price, a currency that at any moment could increase or decrease its market price. what you want is something like stablecoins or fiat so that you could pay someone exactly not less or excess.

At the moment the price was already thousands, I think right now it's a lot better on investments, and maybe in the future when the market price become stable it could be something that everyone can use on transactions.
1309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who is most reliable person? on: March 25, 2023, 01:14:29 AM
When it comes to bitcoin wallets is totally a kind of private pants for females and boxers for male. Bitcoin wallets is like ATM pin which is assigned to individuals which banks do not respect another person on your behave. Is personal identification number, that's what bitcoin wallets, private keys and seed are. But to some point because of love, trust and spouse lips, we give out our details freely for this person to access.

Can we also show our bitcoin key to someone closer, maybe love, spouse, next of kin?
Better still between someone; who introduced and taught you about bitcoin, a friend or family member and your children who's most preferred and reliable person to give out our information about your bitcoin?

We all should share our private keys with anyone no matter how we trust a person that's the general rule I mean it's privacy and you're the only one who should have control of your own wallet, but it doesn't really matter since its still your decision if you really trust a friend or your family you could easily give it to them anyway, when someone is teaching you bitcoin they should not know your private key they should tell you that your the only one you should know about that private key if he wants to know your private key that might be an issue because he might get your bitcoin in the future, he might have a plan already to steal your bitcoin in the future that's why he's teaching you how to invest or buy bitcoin.

I would understand giving your private key to your family since we need someone to inherit our bitcoin, but I wouldn't give it to them easily, I'll just write it down on a paper or notebook and then tell someone in my family who I trust that I have a bitcoin wallet.

1311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Diversified accounts for children on: March 24, 2023, 05:11:33 AM

In my opinion maybe just creating a bank or adding a separate vault on your bank would already work as long as you do save separately for your child it would work. I mean it doesn't actually need to be bitcoin or any cryptocurrency because they are still children so they don't really understand it yet and don't have enough knowledge about bitcoin, I know bitcoin is an investment but at the same time, we all know that bitcoin and cryptocurrency are also so risky because of its volatile market price.
I feel this is a wrong advise with the devaluation of fiat currency, if you start saving in a bank, when they are old enough to be given their investment, the funds must have depreciated and the value will not be cumbersome for them.

If OP, saves the  bitcoin like he said or intend to do,I believe this will help his children in future because nobody knows how much bitcoin price will be then, maybe $1m. This will help them start a better life compare to keeping fiat in a bank.

OP, it is better you teach them about bitcoin so that they will know exactly what plans that you have for them in future, even though, you didn't tell them that you are keeping their coins for them. You should also be careful so that you don't make costly mistakes with their savings.

You have a point, I mean if you put your funds in the bank they will depreciate over time due to inflation and probably be worth less. But we don't recommend putting everything on bitcoin because obviously, it's a risky investment, even though we all believed and say that the bitcoin market price will increase over time there is still no guarantee that it is going to happen, there are lot of factors that affect the price of bitcoin so everyone can argue that in the future it might worth millions of dollars or the opposite.

It was just my opinion, for me you should start with something similar to an emergency fund before starting to invest in a risky investment like bitcoin, you might easily make a mistake without a fiat fund since you might just sell your bitcoin at an unfair price just because you need money for necessary things.
1312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 1$ per day crypto investment plan any good ? on: March 24, 2023, 04:20:42 AM
Is 1$ investment in crypto every day enough? I'm making up to 10$ per day and I don't want something that will tie me down financially since I have other things I'm using the money for aka responsibilities so all I can afford is 1$ per day, also is BTC the best option with this 1$ per day?

If you already see my topic about Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years you can see that investing 1$ will easily be a profit in the future and it's probably enough I think if your not a big spender, it just minimizes your risk on your investment as well.

The problem might just be the platform your gonna need to use since probably buying bitcoin cashing in etc, would have a little fee for sure, if you're going to do an investment of 1$ every day the fees could easily add up, so, in my opinion, the best way to invest your money is just to save up at first then probably when you save like a 100$ then you can buy bitcoin. Or just continue to save and then wait until big deep in the market, in that way you could minimize the risk of your bitcoin because it usually bounces back plus additional profit in the future.

I mean bitcoin is always the best option compared to other cryptocurrencies so I would say yes.

1$ per day in my country is good enough if we are in stage of newbie and still learning a lot of things . And also 1 dollar is equivalent to 57 bucks in my country and a lot of things I  got if I spend  1$. So if I'm gonna invest that in 1 day in in the end of the year I got a lot of money and it's around in 18k  so investing a day with 1$ is good but I don't think so in other countries maybe 1$ is still small from  them. And I think this amount is based on where we live in.

You have a point, in my country, 1 $ is also around 55-60pesos so 1$ is already not that cheap, So I guess 1$ would already be a good investment daily if you put it in your country's currency, but still, I would still recommend saving your 1$ first before investing just because of the fees that could add up on multiple transactions of buying bitcoin daily compared to just buying bitcoin monthly, but you could also depend on the movement of the market, I mean there is a lot of opportunity of deep on the market price of bitcoin so if you think its a good timing for the investment you should right at that moment for a bit more profit, you might also want to minimize your buying when the market price continues to pump then maybe increase it when the market price continues to drop and should add a lot more profit to your investment.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RUN, while you still can. on: March 23, 2023, 07:39:41 AM
Check this out

When you see something like this, RUN and Don't look back.

The official twitter channel of SPACE ID is @SpaceIDProtocol, the link in the picture above is fake, also why would I be qualified for something I don't even know or follow before? No task completed or whatsoever.

Never mind

I know where this is going, all those who couldn't tell the difference will join this raindrop with their BNB wallet address and this people will sent a fake SPACE ID token to your BNB wallet address.

You try selling the token, and that's when the once seemingly impossible thing will turn possible, all your tokens will be wiped out.

Be cautious out there, Twitter is boiling up with fake Arbitrum and SPACE ID giveaways right now.

If you have a Twitter account that follows a lot of projects, tokens, NFTs, etc. probably you already see a lot of posts like this and probably there are thousands of posts like this every day that you need to follow, retweet, etc. then also sometimes you need to put your address as well. Also, new hype projects are going to be the ones that they are going to imitate since that is where a lot of people are active.

There are also thousands of likes on posts like this making it suspicious enough and some people would think its legit because of thousands of likes and retweet, but probably it was made by bots or some kinds of auto like on twitter. Scammers could easily trick a lot of investors from hype projects so its a bad idea not checking this account before doing something. If they send suspicious token on your wallet just do not try to move it, their are cases where hackers have ways to hack your wallet using this kind of methods.
1314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys!! I was finally able to buy my home thanks to Bitcoin!!! on: March 23, 2023, 01:45:58 AM
Awesome journey man, Im glad you finally buy your own house with just your own investment, I mean that's a big achievement! Congratulations!.

For me what you did is a good move, to sell your bitcoin and buy a house since that's a real state that is also a much greater investment that has a much lower risk compared to bitcoin. I mean what's investing for? Why do you invest? if you're not going to spend it on something that you want. Doesn't it defeat the purpose of investing?

Hoping that I will buy my own dream house as well in the future, using my bitcoin investment, I do earn a lot already back in the day but as a student I guess I wasn't futuristic enough to think that I need to buy a house already for myself or for my family. But as I read your story, the next thing that I would buy will be a house probably, and hopefully in the next bull run  Grin

1316  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Diversified accounts for children on: March 22, 2023, 07:13:54 AM
Am planning ahead for my children, early this year I open four bitcoin wallets with my children's names overtime I will be dividing my investment either profit or capital and send to their wallets, no one will have access to it until you assume certain age of 18. I did not enjoy any treatment from my parents I was not independent and I was not dependent. I don't want same thing to repeat I wish my children to be independent after higher college, they should be able to learn life on their own but I will not expose them to crypto as teenagers to avoid social vices.

With this strategy and planning in a front run, I myself will independent of their demands. They canter for themselves and learn e-commerce, networking, crypto currency market, forex and anything that will sustain their independency. Being a parents is being a responsibilities

4 wallets or maybe banks looks like a lot of work, It doesn't really need to be 4 specific wallets since you could just split them in the end, Anyway, it still depend on you, but I guess as long as you teach them your bitcoin knowledge it's already enough for them to start their investment journey because its everything will be useless if they don't have enough knowledge and would just end up just selling the bitcoin you accumulated for them.

1318  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PHLWIN Fraud/Scam nga ba? on: March 22, 2023, 04:51:01 AM

1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers of mixer/tumblers on: March 22, 2023, 03:04:16 AM
Hi folks, I was looking around into Mixers/Tumblers the other day and stumbled upon some very good research like the zk-SNARKs and TumbleBit. Two technologies that 'obfuscate' transactions, making blockchain analysis a guess fest.

My interest in the mixer is in Bitcoin forks and nothing fancy like Ethereum (which has zero-trust mixers based on zk-SNARKs like Tornado cash AFAIK) but when looking into existing online mixers they all appear to be 'send me coins and I promise I will send them back' kind of vibe.

Aren't there any zero-trust mixers for Bitcoin or Bitcoin forks? or have I been looking in the wrong direction?

Also, could multi-sig transactions with two or more participants (using a pre-defined amount of assets, ideally inputs are dividable by each other, eg, a multitude of 0.001) be used to obscure transaction histories?

I wouldn't recommend suspicious mixers since it is just so easy to scam people on this kind of website, when you send your funds to them they just don't send it back to you. There are actually tons of scam mixer websites so just avoid them completely :Scams Bitcoin Mixers List and Services closed.

There are also chances to get involved in some illegal transactions because the mixer was used to not detect its history so it was used in a lot of them so it's always a big risk especially if you're going to send big funds. So I suggest just using mixers that the forum trusts so you would actually get scammed since there are members that already tried using that mixer, But still, be careful recently Chipmixer is one of the most popular mixers here in the forum was shut down and probably related to the illegal transaction so I guess just do a lot of research first before doing it as long as you finished your transaction it doesn't really matter.
1320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a treasure. on: March 22, 2023, 02:28:00 AM
Good Day medium, there is something I will want us to be aware of since bitcoin is a life-changing investment some people are taking it as property, I say this because I overhear someone making a call and saying he has 2BTC and that's is his property.
Now that bitcoin is more valuable in most countries, that shouldn't be a property it should be an investment, those who see bitcoin as property should learn more or read more about bitcoin and how it works.
To me, bitcoin is an investment and also a treasure, I don't know if am wrong or right.
But if someone may ask you, what do you call BITCOIN?

If he actually has that 2BTC on his account he can call it whatever he wants, calling it his property actually makes sense since it's here property any way he has the private key to access it. I mean you can call it an investment, treasure, digital currency, property, assets, etc. and it would still make sense. For me, bitcoin, for now, is an investment because it was a great investment in my experience and not until it reaches its limit maybe it can be a digital currency that we can realistically use for every transaction because at the moment the price of it is so volatile and it's risky to buy or use it as a currency.

I guess it's fine as long as it doesn't make a negative image in Bitcoin since a lot of people do have a negative perception of it just because it's used in many illegal activities.
