1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should I be concerned about the history of bitcoins when buying them ? on: June 04, 2022, 10:14:31 AM
If I purchase bitcoins via p2p, can I get some problems if the bitcoins I get were involved in some criminal activity ? If yes then how do I avoid such situation ?
If you use a platform that supports P2P like Binance, I guess that won't going to be a problem since every user must be verified before they can use such feature. So, the platform itself knew you weren't involved because you are another different person/user verified, and it's not gonna get you in trouble.
I like the question, though it has been asked several times but like most of them everyone wants security when it comes in purchasing Bitcoin.
Those p2p sellers also bought btc right? And I think they won't investigate if where the btc comes from before they buy it, that is why the btc that they can sell are already been infected by the btc used by criminals but since you are buying if from someone else or from a verified person, you won't get blamed for that if ever someone will question you that your btc looks suspicious. It was not your problem anymore so don't worry that much.

Usually when a criminal sells their btc, that would be in larger amounts and in almost exchange you will be ask for kyc if you are selling with bigger amounts so no criminals are safe there. That is why it's also safe to buy btc in those kind of exchanges.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Effectively Maximize Profits from Online Crypto Casinos on: June 03, 2022, 09:15:11 PM
  • Play free spots
  • Make the most out of casino commission benefits
  • Monitor your funds
  • Play the games that you’re skilled at
  • Be aware of your betting patterns.
Actually, most of the above points are about how one should gamble and manage funds rather than how to maximize profits. Making the most out of the commission benefits means you either refer yourself which is a dangerous and illegal practice or you have to wager on low house edge games like dice which are no fun to play these days. Monitor your funds is a good point but it's more towards the bankroll management than towards maximizing profits.

I have a few points on how you can make profits from casinos indeed

1- Take advantage of the promos like stake does on their forum and almost all of them are -ve house edge if you play correctly.
2- Some casinos offer free bets like trustdice so take advantage of that.
3- Sportsbet offers free bets as well but not directly instead through some events so take part in those free events like they do for UFC.
1303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I think its time to start my crypto trading lessons on: June 03, 2022, 08:53:23 PM
learning the trade will take a long time to understand. therefore many people are impatient to get profits, they just follow signals or copy trades.
if you have studied, immediately do the practice. it will make for a worthwhile experience. because with that experience the instincts and abilities of knowledge will make it easier for us to get profits.
It's true that most of the traders feel bored following and learning the basics of the trading and that's one reason for their loss. But despite all the learnings and lessons, it's very much possible that you will face loss in trading. The only benefit you have from learning the basics is that you understand what mistake you made and know how to amend that in the future trades.

Trading without any experience and learning is simply gambling with the market and most of the time you will be on the wrong side of it because all those profitable traders are making money off of traders like them. Crypto trading though has become even more volatile with the introduction of so many altcoins and hence it's important to just not learn about reading charts but at least do a minimal fundamental analysis as well. No point in investing in meme coins regardless of how lucrative they seem.
1304  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: June 03, 2022, 08:08:10 PM
Any word on the new weekly bonus calculation?

My weekly was smaller than the week before even though I wagered more, only made sports bets (which is supposed to pay more now) and had overall loss.

Anybody with the same experience? I'm a little bit confused since it was supposed to pay more for sports betting players like me now.
Yes, my "Weekly" was also much less than the week before and I did not make any Sport bets in that week..when it was more. I specifically concentrated on making more Sports and Slots bets to see if my "Weekly" would be better.... and it was worst.  Roll Eyes

I am testing it again for this "Weekly" to see if it will pay more, if I change my game play significantly. I also lost a lot more than previous weeks, so in theory I should get a lot more for the "Weekly"

They said the new calculation is based on how much you lost in that previous week and how much you made Slot/Sport bets.  Roll Eyes
Isn't it about wagering more? instead of where you are wagering? I mean if you wager on another game but wager 10k, versus wager on slots but wager 1k, then isn't it normal for your weekly to be lower? I am guessing that if you end up wagering more, instead of just losing more, then you should be getting a lot.

So, if you wager 1000 but lost 50 or even earned money, that should not matter compared to wagering 100 bucks and losing it all. That was my understanding, higher wagering = higher return, but of course there is a closeness impact, we do not know the exact amount but assuming like 999 dollars on slot could be better than 1k on another game, no idea the difference amount though.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting an NFT just got easy, didn't it? on: June 03, 2022, 07:08:11 PM
All bad intentions are born on the basis of opportunities, this is what we must understand, that these opportunities should never be given, so in carrying out investments both in NFT and others, knowledge is needed, so people cannot commit fraud so easily, need to be careful in doing anything, never react on the basis of incompetence, because usually people like this are often deceived in carrying out investments
The fraud and scamming world of crypto is vast, I have always said the same thing, if I was a bad person, I could literally write a whole book about how to scam people in the crypto world, it wouldn't be that much of a shock.

I personally believe that the simplest method would be to just convince people that you could create a project that would rival bitcoin, and even if people think that you can't rival bitcoin, they will think that "this guy wants to be the top project, but could fail and be top 10 and that would SITLL be good" and you will get their money. There are tons of people who invest like that and you could convince them to give you your money, this actually happens daily in crypto.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most crypto projects' team members are made public these days? on: June 03, 2022, 04:17:15 PM
I've noticed that most crypto projects have team members which are publicly known by the public. Projects like Ethereum, Cardano, Terra, and others have founders whose identities are known by everyone around the world. Wasn't Bitcoin designed by an unknown person (or group of persons) named Satoshi Nakamoto?
Bitcoin was completely different case than the altcoin project. Altcoin like ethereum, terra and etc were coming from the funding by investors. They need to reveal their identity to create project to be trusted by the investors.
There were a ton of "e-money" attempts way before bitcoin, just because it was the first one to actually succeed, doesn't mean that it was the first attempt ever, there has been others before and they all failed to gain any attraction because they all lacked blockchain part of it.

However, I agree with the part where you say that new coins with anonymous team look like scams, and I have to say that most of them are doing the wrong thing. I wouldn't personally prefer a coin that has a team that is known, I rather have a coin that has no team at all, fully decentralized, that would be a lot better and would play into the decentralization of crypto very well.
1307  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries with the most expensive fuel | Greece's case study on: June 03, 2022, 01:20:59 PM
So far we have talked much about expensive fuel in connection with personal transport. What about public transport in your region? Has ticked prices went up or transport companies plan to do it? So far in my country I see people, who use public transport with sort of a dominance on their faces. They have paid same ticket price when the diesel (I have diesel car, so I remember diesel prices) cost less than 1 EUR, 1 EUR, 1,50+ EUR, 2+ EUR. Public transport users so far feel quite comfortable with fuel price increase, or so far they bother about it. In my country I think the amount of public transport users is greater than those who use their own transport. But, if ticket prices doubles, I expect dissatisfied statements.
Yes the price of the ticket in my country has also skyrocketed. Some people can't help but complain without even knowing the real reason why it did happen but me I don't complain anymore because I know that it is only caused by the rise of the fuel's price. Despite of the increase, the operator of the vehicles do also earns less than what they are earning before the fuel hike came.

If there are ones that are totally affected it was them the drivers or the operators because they mostly have big families and have a much poorer lives than to most of the commuters that mostly have a better-paying jobs and have a small number of family to feed.
1308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start accepting BTC? on: June 03, 2022, 11:03:20 AM
If I owned a business I would absolutely accept Bitcoin regardless of what service, product or industry I was operating in. I’m a huge proponent of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain and I believe BTC is an excellent method to exchange value.

Even more than just accepting cryptocurrencies I would use the Blockchain to help with some of my processes. For example, if I sourced any raw materials to make a certain product, it could be very beneficial to use the Blockchain as a transparent ledger for accountability.
What if your business is about agriculture and hardware? Are you sure you would still accept bitcoins? Because your customers are mostly adults or old people that don't have an idea or let say they have some idea but they still prefer to use fiats. That is why it is important to accept btc depending on our business, it is best to accept btc if your business is about computers and gadgets because your customers are mostly young and middle age people that are definitely in to btc and cryptocurrencies.

By using bitcoin you are already using blockchain there but if you want to take it to the next level and use blockchain the literal way then that can also be a good idea.
1309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: avoid scam telegram groups , find useful tools and channels on: June 02, 2022, 09:22:30 PM
Even myself up to these years where i didnt really put myself on joining telegram groups or even discord which could potentially interrupt or would really just boggling you into the actions you would made
whenever you do read up different sentiments and advises or tips. Snip out only the useful tools and ideas whenever you do join one but be sure that you are fully aware on how these things
specially scams and frauds do works or behaves because once you are experienced then spotting it out could be done directly.
Well, if you are an experienced guy and you think you can do much better than others or on those groups then yes you don't need to join them anymore because what you will be reading on them are still the same as what you think or if they are fake, you can read wrong information's which can only ruin your day but if you are nice guy maybe you can warn the others on that group and report that group itself so that they will be tagged and they cant victim any innocent people anymore.

It's hard to snip out useful information if the site or the groups itself didn't highlight them so you are still going to end up reading the whole sentence/paragraph.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: June 02, 2022, 01:38:04 PM
Actually we all know to be able to make big profits when investing in crypto is to buy coins at low prices. And now I think all coins have decreased drastically, meaning that now is the right time to buy coins. But unfortunately only a few investors dare to buy coins when in a bear market situation like now, even though the price of coins is very low. Most people are afraid that the market will still go down even further, even though it's just a fear that won't necessarily happen.
Aside from the people who don't invest because they are afraid, there are also people who don't invest (for a while) because they are expecting for more dips. If the price goes down right after we buy, then why not buy again instead of worrying? That is why dca is being on the talk of the town lately but no matter how good we do our research, accidents can always happen like what happened on the luna investors. They thought they already picked up the right coin but they don't know that the coin turned out to be bad later on.

This thing can happen on altcoins but for the main coin bitcoin, I don't think it can still experience a serious issue since it was running for many years already.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: June 02, 2022, 08:38:52 AM
What's your ultimate choice? Or both?  Smiley
If its about ultimate choice of course that is none other than bitcoin but in reality we can set our own rules and we can choose to pick more than one coin. The more the merrier as they said so I can also pick eth as one of the coins to build a solid portfolio but what about bnb? Don't worry just yet because I will also consider this one. Bnb was not a shitcoins or anything so why not?

This coin has a potential to grow more in the future not because it was associated with binance but it simply have the utility and features to help him achieve that. There are some coins too with no big connection but have the same potential as bnb. I also have them on my bag.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dumb plan? on: May 31, 2022, 11:24:07 AM
It seems that every three to four years cycle new altcoins always takes a position in top 20 list on coinmarketcap, those who are leading the top 20 of 2017 are done for right now, only very few remains, now it seems this is what's going to happen in 2024-2025 too, now tell me why investing in a new project a bad idea? Cos I plan to look into new projects for the future instead, what do you think?
It's true that most of the altcoins will die in 3-4 years and some would die even within an year because new projects solving the same problem more effectively emerge and the old technology is not competent enough.

Another reason why most project dies in a few years is because the owners lose interest in the project once the ICO is done and they will just do the basic requirements promised within the WP and then move on to another project and raise more money. This entire altcoins market has become rogue and it's about time investors will realize that it's not worth gambling with these new tokens.
1313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges that offer loan options on: May 31, 2022, 06:56:26 AM
Binance have loan option but you need have assets there based on how much loan try for borrow, I think if your assets on Binance drop and not try for cut loss better open loan option and your assets there as guarantee for loan, if you can get peofit from loan money on Binance exchange could be capital for active back in trading, but bad when gtt losing second time with koan capital use for trading.

If I am not wrong you are talking about leveraged trading, right? If so yes Binance, FTX and almost every big exchange allows that. You put some tokens on collateral, borrow money and trade and if the value drops below the leveraged value your tokens will get liquidated.

I am not a fan of leverage or futures trading but sometimes it's good. When LUNA was crumbling a few weeks back, there were traders who earned a lot of money by just shorting LUNA and paying back the loan by buying LUNA much cheaper. But do these things if you have some experience and knowledge about it.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think that 2022 will look like? on: May 30, 2022, 08:58:32 PM
I think 2022 is look like another chance of buying coins in a very low price, the market is totally red due to continuous dropping of the btc price, if the btc price wil become stable above 31k$ maybe the market will be back to green again and that was a very best time to do buy amd selling, btc was rejected at 30k$ yesterday and that makes altcoins fall all coins are affected and maybe projects postponed thier luanch date. So for now i beleive that 2022 is the time for buying coins and wait till the market become stable.
this year there is bound to be a massive drop in the price of cryptocurrencies, and that means we have a good chance to buy them, but also on the basis of personal analysis. I don't know how long the bearish season will end and when will this decline end, at least there is still lower support between the $21k area, where resistance becomes support, therefore we must also be careful
Good for you guys that you appreciate the situation now because there are people out there that thinks the price is still pretty high and by that they won't treat it as a buying time.

We can only see these people complain by the time we hit the bull market. That's okay, to not know if when will this bearish season ends because even us we also don't exactly know, that is why there is no room for us to wait if our goal is to invest because we won't know what if this is the last day for accumulating coins and tomorrow is going to be a big day. If not mistaken the price didn't reach 21k but the lowest we got last time is only 26k. 21k is too low and I don't think we can hit that.
1315  Economy / Economics / Re: Share your Money management strategy on: May 30, 2022, 05:58:24 PM
The most important point in financial management is being able to strike a balance between expenses and income, most people don't care about the amount of spending so that every month they run a deficit, they do it by borrowing which actually makes finances more difficult, stop spending that is not important.
And to control your spending it's important to pen down the spending properly first. I remember a wise quote that says something like "You can't control and improve what you can't measure". This means if you cannot track down specifically what you are spending excessive money on, you will have a hard time controlling and cutting it down.

Financial management is not just about making more money and managing your portfolio and time more effectively, but it's about how you can chop down excessive spending and ensure that you are in control of what and how much you spend.

I personally used to struggle with my income and expenses but after writing down roughly how much I am spending on what, it gives me more control on what I need to avoid and focus next month.
1316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: May 30, 2022, 05:22:29 AM
I am not one to do much technical analysis because I use indicators very little, but I consider that the few that I know have helped me a lot, especially to have more precision when placing an order because it is much more millimetric when it comes to short-term or even in the medium term, I consider it good for that reason, obviously when it is in the short term I do not dare to do it because firstly I have no experience and secondly because I think that in the short term or very short term the market is so volatile that I do not know if In this temporality, the market uses mathematical indicators much more and they have more functionality.
It's actually more important to do fundamental analysis these days than TA because new tokens are being created in big numbers every day and you must know which one is fundamentally strong and all these charts and markets and hype can be faked and manipulated very easily. You hire a few influencers and get the hype and similarly you throw $100k and get a massive momentum as well. But all these things can't still change the fundamentals of a project. No matter how much hype is there behind dogecoin but is and will always be a meme coin and is fundamentally hollow.

All these so called influencers are highly deceptive and paid most of the times. Once you learn FA and somehow combine it with TA on top, you are ready to rock the market.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to struggle hard when you in choise of Payment Gate for Gambling project on: May 29, 2022, 07:46:08 PM
Why would they have to use a thirdparty payment gateway when they can use crypto currencies? If they are using fiat, yeah, then it's their disadvantage and they have to struggle with the payment gateways and pay those massive fees when funds enter or moves out of the casino.
That's why most online casinos and players now prefer to use crypto currencies. No need for any third party payment gate way. They can set their own wallet within few minutes and start accepting payments without issue.
I think that many gambling sites are using a third party service right now. Dunno why but maybe it's going to be beneficial to them? And a third party service can offer features that we don't normally get when we accept crypto directly like they can do an instant trading between fiat and crypto or vice versa.

And we know that many people are still new to crypto and are hesitant to use a crypto. There are also old crypto users that don't like the volatility of crypto especially when use in gambling that is why they can use a fiat. Depending on the payment provider, the fees can be manageable and not really that expensive so they need to choose wisely.
1318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The average joe would never accept bitcoin as means of payment due to tx fees on: May 29, 2022, 06:35:10 PM
I guess average joes doesn't want to accept Bitcoin not because of the tx fees, but because they don't understand how to minimize Bitcoin tx fees as they might think it would be too complicated than using credit and debit cards which also has tx fee too.

Bitcoin is already a currency and at the same time a store of value.
The fact that bitcoin is volatile could be another big reason. Sure they could switch it as quickly as possible, and they could just let the buyer pay the fee and they could collect it as high as possible before they cash out and that would drop the tx fee issue and all of that. But at the same time, we are not going to be really worried about the situation because it is going to be volatile so that's the biggest trouble hence tx fee wouldn't be a big deal.

I personally would prefer if I could accept something like USDT or BUSD, which I dislike those but as a business I can't handle bitcoin in that situation. However, since I am just a freelancer and not a shop, I can accept bitcoin easily.
1319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why we should Buy some Bitcoins on: May 29, 2022, 04:44:31 PM
in fact, currently bitcoin is at a price of $29k, when we think the price is very low, it turns out that the price is back down, and that's where we find it difficult to predict accurately. if bitcoin will come back down again then the target may be up to a price of around $25k, but even then no one can know for sure, therefore it is important for us to learn cryptocurrency, so that we can analyze ourselves, with confidence in ourselves, hopefully we can be successful after
It is not really that much of an importance if it drops just a bit, that happens and that is nothing compared to long term. When you buy at 30k and want to sell it at 100k, you do not care if you buy at 30 or 29 or 28, that is nearly the same thing. I understand that the bigger the price gets the more profits you make if you buy lower, but as long as you are right and it hits 100k then it will be fine and there won't be any problems.

This is of course what I believe will happen, I am not saying that it is a great thing or a terrible thing, all I am saying is that it is irrelevant and not a big amount to care about. So it is still an amazing time to buy.
1320  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Russia Emerge As The Next Dominant Superpower on: May 29, 2022, 02:52:25 PM
Russia being the next superpower is undoubtedly an unrealistic expectation happen. One fact, I was thinking they would crush Ukraine as soon as they invaded the country but today , Russia is losing men and their fighting gadgets in numbers.
I was thinking like I am the only one thinking like that but glad others think the same too. When Russia invaded Ukraine I and almost everyone on the news and internet was making it look like a 1 vs 100 type of war and it was more of a beating than a fight. Now months have passed and it's looking like an ongoing war instead of a beating and like you mentioned, Russia is losing men!

I don't see Russia becoming a dominant superpower although as mentioned in OP that if that does happen, it would be an overall positive for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency since they are very friendly towards crypto. I am not against Russia nor support what they are doing but I hope they don't become a superpower because it may do more harm than good.
