I've added a FAQ section in the OP. There is a "FAQ" at the very top that links to where the section is located. Currently there is only one entry in dealing with one of the PoS questions as just being asked. I'm aware that we're missing documentation, and as I mentioned (long long ago), I'd bring up a wiki site. It was so so much overdue, while it does be something I got to do.
I'm also aware people are looking forward to what magi is gonna be, so called roadmap. I thought it'd be something quick; well, it's easy to say it but NOT easy to do it, and I would certainly not add things that won't come true. It's rather assured that I'm thinking what to add, seriously, and what's added shall be in consistence with the magi's vision under the overall cryptocurrency scene, which is the base line.

Thanks for the update Joe, makes sense regarding the roadmap - better to take your time and get it right than offer false promises - a lot of coins do that and don't live up to the hype. I also agree with that Joe. Many coins make a mistake with adding a roadmap and don't have the developments ready on time. Magi can if a new development is almost ready promote that development. At the moment Magi is above the 5k again. Very nice! |

Hi everyone,
My wallet isn't staking. I get the message: "Not Staking Because You Don't Have Enough Weight." I looked around on this thread for possible answers, and I found out about coin controlling and splitting your coins. I wasn't able to find a description of these terms, but it sounds like they have to do with staking. Could someone please fill me in on this or point me to a source that will help me understand everything more?

Yea, Huge jump. Wonder where this is gonna land? Until now I loved it, had a few coins sold at the top. Hope dump will come soon to buy my XMG back. Seems it's happening! Get your XMG back  Never know what is the best price to buy back or buy more XMG. Might be 10k Satoshi in a few months. |

Hi sir, its version 1.3.1. and windows 7 64bit. it shows that it is synchronizing with network, it takes forever For quick sync: 1) Backup wallet.dat; 2) Delete everything under the Magi or .magi folder except wallet.dat; 3) Download block chain from here http://coinmagi.org/bin/block-chain/ and unzip the file; 4) Put all of the contents under the folder m-blockchain into Magi or .magi; 5) Launch the wallet. I'am with Magi from the beginning and althought the Magi team is not very big its shows a stable grow, activity, updates and new developments. Magi will continue with that!

I think that Magi is in a better position than ever before to make an impact (price could go either way from here - but I think the next trough will be much higher than the last one) - market cap is hovering around or above 200k for over a month now - last year we were between 20 and 40k if I remember correctly. If we can make the same progress in the next year - I'll be very happy. Magi is building slowly so doesn't seem to be following the trend of a lot of pump and dump coins (although still has more than enough volatility)
Maybe because of the failed pump and dump of last week the price stays higher. For many years the $ price of XMG was 0.03. Now it's around 0.05. In the last years we had a marketcap around $200.000, now it's $340.000 Of course it's mostly because of the BTC price, in the beginning of XMG the BTC price was around 150 $, it's now 1100 $. At the start XMG was above 10K, but slowly went down until 1500 sat. The last year it keeps climbing (mostly) slowly. Looking at other coins, the pump and dump seems to be necessary to grow. The coin gets attention by the exchanges when there's a pump and dump. And attention is the engine for growth. Right words guys! Magi already prove to be a good long term investment. I think Magi will show a lot more great developments & updates in the future. With our awesome friendly growing community Magi will have a great future. |
