1301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any website out there to keep track of trade orders on: November 01, 2019, 04:53:06 PM
In order to become more disciplined and understand your trades better I recommend logging all your trades using Microsoft excel or online similar programs like google sheets. There are some trading aggregators in the markets from where you can trade on multiple exchanges basically from the same interface, but I don't think you're looking for that. Maybe you might want to check edgewonk, but it is a more complex trading log.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea discuss the possibility to give crypto a legal status on: November 01, 2019, 04:45:01 PM
Why wouldn't you pay taxes on cryptocurrencies? My opinion is that as long as we live in a civilized country and use the public system we should pay taxes on income.

If you're paying taxes on the income from capital gains, forex trading, your business profits, etc. Why wouldn't you pay for the crypto income?

1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Just Love the Game of a Totalitarian State on: November 01, 2019, 04:07:49 PM
I just hate any kind of totalitarism, dictatorship and communism in this world. Men weren't created to leave under suppression and they weren't created equal because they are unique and all have different qualities. Most importantly I think humans need to live in freedom and peace. That doesn't mean we don't need rules or boundaries, but they need to be set in a democratic way and supervised by competent authorities. All these should happen in my opinion in an ideal world, but we don't live in such a world, but we can fight and join efforts to create one like this and I strongly believe that Bitcoin is the catalyst for a fundamental change of our society.

1305  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] SwapMixer.com - Swap Bitcoin to Litecoin anonymously on: November 01, 2019, 03:39:16 PM
I do not understand why we get Litecoins after the swap ? If i wanted to swap bitcoins, i should get bitcoins in the end. If i get litecoins, i will have to then exchange them for bitcoins at the exchange and it will involve tx and trading fee. This service is only useful if you want to convert your bitcoins to litecoins and no intention of converting back to bitcoins.

As you can see on their platform they are some kind of hybrid between an exchange and a crypto mixing service: "SwapMixer is a privacy focused instant cryptocurrency exchange. Unlike traditional exchanges, our reserves are used to complete transactions instantly and all data is destroyed at the end of a session."

Also they do mention that they'll add more altcoins after feedback is received from the users. However I'm curious if they plan to add two-way conversions, so we can exchange LTC to BTC for example.
1306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your favorite trading movies? on: November 01, 2019, 02:58:20 PM
Wolf of Wall Street is my classic favorite, but the series with Gordon Gekko are very useful to get some tangence with the sharp blades of the wall street professionals. Just seeing this thread I need to remind myself to watch some more trading movies or documentaries. I don't really have a desire to get on the Wall Street as I prefer a more calm and peaceful life, but it's fun for me to watch all the chase of the money.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any other trading platforms other than Kraken? on: November 01, 2019, 02:36:48 PM
Kraken is a reputable exchange but man.. were you living in a cave? Just make a google search and you'll get a list of the most popular exchanges. I recommend checking CoinMarketCap to check out the platforms with the most trading volume. Also make sure you don't confuse volume with reputation. Volume can be faked through many tools so be careful. The best exchanges I know are Gemini, Bitstamp and Coinbase if you're looking for spot trading.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks and crypto integration is a big thing- Michael Novogratz on: November 01, 2019, 12:28:05 PM
In my opinion coffee shops are the best place to integrate cryptocurrency in the daily population use. Really looking forward to seeing the Bakkt consumer app in action. Hopefully it will be available worldwide not just in the United States.
1309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitmex snet an email with CC to own customers. Hundreds emails exposed. on: November 01, 2019, 11:04:00 AM
Another proof of unprofessionalism from Bitmex. I think Arthur is trying to destroy his business and leave a bad reputation. I mean come on.. everybody knows that you need to triple check before sending a mass email, especially someone who is working on the marketing/customer service department.
1310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is difficult to accept in countries on: November 01, 2019, 08:53:09 AM
The thing is that governments and banks are kind of frigthened about Bitcoin. They do however embrace the blockchain technology as that could really add up to the bank & public systems' transparency and efficiency. I noticed that they try to stall the time so they can come up with their own cryptocurrency. That's what China and Facebook is doing at the moment. They want capture the cryptocurrency momentum to create and implement their own "centralized" crypto to the population. In my vision this is how the crypto revolution will end up: countries create their own "regulated" cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin will become a worldwide mainstream currency like Gold is for fiat.
1311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Build THE Community on: October 31, 2019, 07:51:18 PM
Regarding your first manifest, there are some people who run their full nodes on at-home computers. I think that offers the best decentralization + privacy, security and complete, sole control of the node. You don't know who's watching your "cloud node". I'm wondering if there is anyway we can see the number of self-hosted nodes vs the ones hosted in the cloud.

Furthermore I think we should find a way to incentivise solely the full node running. Most people who run Bitcoin full nodes are also miners, thus making the full nodes in a relative degree centralized. But how could we incentivise people to do so? - that's my question for the community
1312  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] SwapMixer.com - Swap Bitcoin to Litecoin anonymously on: October 31, 2019, 07:13:55 PM
I've got to say that Swapmixer is one of the easiest to use anonymous exchange services out there. I have always been an adept of simplicity and the design and user friendly interface of the website make it so easy even for newbies to mix their crypto holdings. After getting 1 confirmation of my BTC transaction I just clicked refresh and there it was, no delays, no bugs.

A big plus is that your session data is automatically deleted in 25 days or before if you destroy your session manually. They even offer privacy tips on the withdraw tips like how to obfuscate your transactions by making multiple withdrawals at different times of the day and addresses. The BTC-LTC exchange rate was at the market rate so no complaints there. Overall a very convenient and smart service. I recommend it for people who want to make fast and private exchanges between BTC & LTC and soon with other cryptocurrencies as well.

P.S. I have posted my review in the service thread as well. Hope it's ok.
1313  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Life Worth Living? on: October 31, 2019, 07:11:54 PM
I view life as a gift from the God that was given to us. Remember that the chances to be born as a human are 400 trillion to 1. Why wouldn't you use that gift to create yourself a happy and beatiful life and make the world a better place for the next generations to come? Why be greedy with your gift and not enjoy it to the fullest by sharing your life with others and helping other people. Stop being depressed(if you are) and get up and follow your dreams. That's all that matters. I believe that the secret of a good life is to be grateful for what you have and enjoy every second of it.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 31, 2019, 06:48:12 PM
Pretty surprised to see AC Miland in the second half of the standings. They have barely managed to get 10 points in 9 matches. I think that today match is crucial for their short to medium term performance as if they don't win at home against a very weak team like Spal their morale will drop down like a rock from a mountain. It is already low, but believe me it could get lower. I'm going for a clean AC Milan victory tonight just because of this fact. I get a nice 1.50 odds - pretty decent for this match.

Continuing my analysis AC Milan has won all their matches against Spal both at home and in departure so Milan is clearly the favorite.
1315  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Christian men marry more than one wife? on: October 31, 2019, 06:37:05 PM
Christians cannot be married to more than 1 women at the same time. If they get a divorce then of course officially(legally) they can marry another woman. I am not sure if there is anything in the Bible against remarriage and divorce, but I do know the vows both the groom and the bride need to say and between them is that they need to love and support each other through bad and good times no matter what until death will divide them.
1316  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Get paid 0.0015 BTC to review SwapMixer.com anonymous BTC to LTC swaps on: October 31, 2019, 06:13:16 PM
Only 1 review has been posted so far by efialtis and there are no views from rest of the members. Also i think you have failed to pick some reputable trusted members who have applied and instead chosen Jr. Members too.  Even you did not chose on first come first serve basis. I do not know what was your criteria in choosing the members.

I'm sorry?! I think you haven't checked the thread carefully. Look a few posts above. You will see my review on the mixer. Before making statements please document yourself. Also I think SwapMixer has chosen pretty decent reviewers.
1317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: October 31, 2019, 05:53:46 PM
I don't think that this is the best place to learn trading from. You need to learn two basic things: technical analysis and risk management. Once you master those then you can really start putting some capital into the market. Until then I recommend demo/paper trading. The timeframe you trade really depends on your personality and how much time you wanna invest into this endeavour. If you wanna do something else beside standing in front of your monitors like you have a business to run, etc. then take higher timeframe trades.
1318  Economy / Services / Re: HALLOWEEN SUBS OPEN! 🔥SAFE AND SLOW PASSIVE INCOME ROI+716%🔥API KEY LINKING🔥 on: October 31, 2019, 05:26:51 PM
I want to start my post by stating that I am in NO WAY associated with Arakne nor I endorse the use of this algorithm. I just want to shed some light on the hate this project is taking. They are offering a 1 month free trial so if you are really interested in using their algorithm why not put 100 bucks in an account and test it for a month. If you're happy with the results go ahead and buy it, if not.. share your results and move on. It is a bit shady why the OP shares this algorithm with others if it has been proven to be profitable. Why not put more funds in it and multiply your BTC? Or why not try and sell it to a hedge fund or something?

Also your marketing is a bit aggressive, but I'll take it because that's marketing...
1319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What scares you the most? on: October 31, 2019, 04:29:24 PM
Once upon a time a boy didn't covered his trades and lost all his crypto holding to the Bitmex liquidation engine haha
What scares me the most is governments making a common front in banning Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. That would slow down the BTC price growth, but it will still continue to exist in the "underworld" of our society. However by the nature of the technology Bitcoin cannot be literally banned. I'm sure that people would still use and find ways to do so, but the adoption rate would be very low but it would crawl until governments will be forced to lift the ban. That's my view on my fear, so it is not really a fear but a wish that doesn't happen.
