1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE] [ANN] BITCOIN21 - 21 million coins - SHA256 - All Device Types - Jan 2016 on: May 10, 2016, 08:44:15 PM
Not a good start now is it? OP seems to have good intentions but I think he is quite ahead of himself. He wants to rock the financial world with this coin but it is currently an ant trying to tear down a skyscraper.

What the ****? It's been less than 30 days and you have written it off rofl. OMG! I've already said there is a delay of 3 months, I have not updated the roadmap yet. Unreal.
You have just demonstrated how lame the Bitcoin community is, it is self destructive, if there is no profit within 24 hours then you all go off crying like babies.
That's why three other digital currency teams all want me to work with them?!?

What else are you expecting to happen within one month? Rather than complain why not contribute? What have you contributed?

Do you know how many years it took Bitcoin before the coins were even worth $1? You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about my friend.

Ultimately opinion doesn't matter, ultimately fiat money is 99% overvalued which means this year the global economy will collapse unless there is a new source of reliable measurable wealth, if you do not understand Bitcoin 21 (and clearly you do not) then that is unfortunately your loss.

By the way you can mine Bitcoin21 solo easily you dont need a pool.

No need to listen to trolls.

Nodes have been prepaid for 6 months and 12 months respectively and will continue to be supported long term.

1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE] [ANN] CHIPS - THE CASINO CURRENCY - SHA256 BitcoinChips / Bitchips HUGE!! on: May 10, 2016, 06:20:24 PM
Why not just use bitcoin for casinos?

Also, how will people be able to sell chips for 1 satoshi? ESP had 500 billion, and no one can sell them at 1 satoshi. Your chips are 21 trillion.
Bitcoin is the dullest, most boring, tainted, disorganised, poorly branded digital currency on the market, if people wanted to use Bitcoin why would they create altcoins? The tech of interest is Blockchain.
..and everyone uses it for paying for ICOs, as a base currency on exchanges, etc etc. Basically, all operations in crypto depend on BTC. Without BTC you would never be able to start your coin.

That's not distinctly correct. It is the easiest way, ultimately the opensource blockchain enables the sector to flourish. Bitcoin is not as important as people make out, it's all consensus based.
It just so happens that alot of developers are now unbanked, and paying in Bitcoin has become easier, it doesnt mean to say it will remain as so.
I have confidence in what I am delivering long term anyway, with or without Bitcoin Smiley

1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [♔] Britcoin 3.0 [BRIT] | 5% annual PoS on: May 08, 2016, 01:57:31 PM

You were obviously trolling earlier, so spare me your indignation.....

And it's painful to read broken English and allusions to milk....seriously are you 12 years old?....

Britcoin is already a flash in the pan.

Sterlingcoin all the way.

  Roll Eyes

Sterlingcoin is dead, I attempted to contact the Sterlingcoin team through their website, they did not even reply, the wallet wouldn't even synch.
Problem with Sterling is that we already have sterlingcoins, pennies, five pence, twenty pence, they are already sterlingcoins.

Britcoin is a huge brand, there's no UK competition.

I am selling some Britcoins 10,000 for 0.5 BTC.

Hmmm... Not to rain on anyone's parade but,
with 21 Trillion coins, there will be no way to transfer
from XCHIPS to BTC. The only use will be to spend them
at the casino. I see a need for the coin but, not at 21 Trillion coins.

And... you have to pay .1 BTC for the privilege of early mining.
Wish you the best but, too risky for me.

No worries.

Imagine a coin so abundant that you give them away in their millions to people all around the world and it becomes the common denomination....

Leave you with that thought Smiley

Sounds like a penny

Interesting Smiley Would be mighty impressive if each BitChip had a stable value of a $dollar or a $cent, or a £pound or a £penny, all are possible. As we have seen with a whole range of coins it doesnt matter how many coins are minted, in terms of exchangeable value it only matters how many there are on the market compared to users. I would encourage people to give this one a go.

You are kidding me right?Huh Cheesy

Ticker chip and chips already in use... original name too!  Cheesy

Nothing on Bitcointalk for CHIPS or BitChips, I searched this morning, there seems to be no active threads via the Bitcointalk search, neither is there a website for anything called BitcoinChips or BitChips?

Fine, I shall simply change the ticker to XCHIPS, that was difficult to resolve wasn't it.

There was this pokercoin named CHIPS.. its also already in ccex system Wink

But it seems dead now..

Anyway.. thank you very much for the ticker change.. I appreciate that a lot!

Good luck with the project!

Thanks, XCHIPS it is then, not to be associated with the other tickers, something new To The Moon!

Bitcoin is the dullest, most boring, tainted, disorganised, poorly branded digital currency on the market, if people wanted to use Bitcoin why would they create altcoins? The tech of interest is Blockchain.

Of course all mass market coins like ESP with 500 billion will be 1 sat, because theres probably only around 50,000 people in the world trading digital currencies just now, and to be honest still around 75% of coins on the market have too small communities, unappealing brands, basically developed by script kiddies who think if a coin has a few people that say its a good idea, it will take off. Even the initial teams of the older coins have just given up (because they thought they would get rich).

XCHIPS (as it is now branded) is specifically designed as a mass market derived coin;

- can be given / distributed in huge quantities
- has instant potential to be used in casinos (subject to subscription)
- can be branded for any given industry (casinos, supermarkets - Tesco Chips, Asda Chips -, cinemas - Movie Chips, Film Chips
- is mass market enough for banks and financial institutions to invest without losing money (particularly when they are 1 sat!)

Remember the mass market appeal of Mooncoin and Dogecoin way back in 2013, they were the coins that got thousands of people interested.

XCHIPS has great potential, ultimately the people decide what is good and what is bad, its called consensus Smiley

Ok, i feel bad for dumping on the guy.

If you need some great moneymaking coin ideas that are actually worth doing, PM me. Maybe we can collaborate.

So you should! I'm not doing this to make money for myself, just doing something different that I fee l has merit.
