Curious if there is any contact information for the dev of Golfcoin we would like to take it over and run with it. Any information would be appreciated. cdrk.group.holdings@gmail.comIm the dev. The coin needs a mining pool to process and move blocks. It is a POW/POS coin , POW will work even with POS stake. There was little demand by miners to keep this coin going, but there is still future potential, and some people are interested in growing golfcoin. By all means get in touch. An attempt was made previously to list on Cryptopia but this was refused due to premine, with a new team maybe cryptopia will reconsider. Mining POW will only produce a very low or even zero reward, POS is also low reward. |

No update from dev on forums or twitter.
It's a shame if it is abandoned since it is much better than 99% of the coins out there.

Forgive me to prove that? The coin does not have a website, there is no mine, there is no coin on large exchanges, there is no detailed information. I have to prove that all this is not? !!! Forgive me what to prove ??
XPcoin already went through the PoW stage, if we decide to include a pool again, we'd once again have to reconfigure the current source code and eventually create a new blockchain, basically creating a new coin. The PoW stage has ended some time ago, so I encourage you to read all of the pages that you haven't read. We do have a new website which is XPcoin.io, currently still in progress. If you'd like to see the coin on large exchanges, rather than complain you can help, although, getting on large exchanges are common and requires a lot of diligence and patience. I personally prefer drawing their attention because they desire our coin and not the other way around, as it tends to cost time, money, and votes traditionally. We are waiting for wallet updates to re-launch. Instead of trolling and posting the non-sense that you've been posting, I suggest trying the civil method and remaining neutral with your statements especially since they've been nothing more than accusations. Further more, you've yet provide any evidence of anyone making any such "promises" that you spoke of. Neither has anyone mentioned anything of "buying faster". XP has been defined as a "Utility Coin" which should provide more clarity for you if you seek it. I just want to say I support Evangelo taking forward XPcoin and look forward to seeing the new website. The new branding looks positive and there is alot of activity on slack. The USP of XP is as a utility, that people can buy in large numbers and use as a reward token independently, it is also 100% proof of stake which means it doesnt need "miners" to be secure as people who own the coin support the network. As the founder I am unfortunately unable to continue with XP and other projects due to ill health and financial circumstances, this has all been explained many times before, so the fact there is a good community to take over XP and advance it as a ulility coin with small value and mass appeal is positive, its not designed to replace bitcoin, just be an altcoin like Doge except with 100% POS. I sold some of my XP when the price was high against Doge enough to recouperate any investment in the sector, i donated 30+ billion to the development team which i see is address number 2 on the rich list, and still own 1/4 of the coins which I dont intend to sell (at least for a few years anyway). Good luck with the coin Evangelo, maybe start a new OP if you want, look forward to seeing XP thrive as a small part of the Bitcoin digital currency sector. The dev is manipulating every market so give up this project does not make sense the dev own more than half of the coins and is burning the market and nois here debating about something that will not bring us any future
As original founder I give control to Evangelo and his new team to professionally take care of XP and grow XP as a digital currency and utility coin. Due to personal health problems I am unable to continue with XP. 35 billion coins from the original premine have been sent to the new development team today 27-6-2017 so that they have a large amount of XP to stake and support the coin - the rest of the premine will be distributed according to the wishes of the new development team. Good luck! The original wallet will no longer be staked and no coins will be sold from the premine (so that others can compete for the stake), as above the original premine will be distributed in accordance with the wishes of the community. I have sold some of my personal stake in XP but still have a personal wallet with 5 billion XP in support of the project which will not be sold! I hope that clarifies the position. Hopefully the rest of the premine will be distributed equally between the new community team Good luck in taking XP forward! |

I really think also FST is dead now, after 4 years of trying.
It's being mined, traded, has live nodes and pools and has a working website. Might not be the most popular coin out there but it's far from dead. Fastcoin is showing the early signs that bitcoin displayed before going on to be worth $300 a piece, I have some Fastcoin and looking to hold long term, think fastcoin has great potential, depends which investors decide to put their money in it, even at a low BTC value, if BTC reaches $3000 at the end of 2017 think fastcoin will attract investors. |

Only 1.3 billion XP for sale on both exchanges that's about 1% of the total outstanding coins looks like the other 99% of XP owners are Holding & staking... Everyone waiting for POW to end and pure POS to begin?  When pow ended ? As the cryptocurrency sector grows offering more choice, there are many potential hazards around the corner, rather than create new coins (fiat money in a different guise), in fact quite the opposite should occur, not only should we think about merging all crypto into one CONSENTING blockchain that uses the collective skills of everyone working on individual coins, we should start to consider actually what money is and what harm money actually does, regardless of its form.
Therefore I would ask that if anyone is mining or thinking of investing in Golfcoin, please do not.
Golfcoin will be asked to be removed from exchanges in the next day or two, and the premine and any personal coins will be destroyed.
I am very sorry for everyone that has supported Golfcoin, but please rest assured, I have a feeling that by stopping Golfcoin we have a much brighter future.
