Atletico Madrid are doing just fine in the La Liga nowadays. They got their fourth consecutive victory by defeating Cadiz too. It was a hard-fought 2-1 victory though. Cadiz did their best against them to steal some points there but they failed in their goal I'm afraid. Atletico Madrid are still not very credible when it comes to their game plan though. But they are still succeeding in winning somehow. I believe this won't go on like this for a very long time. Barcelona seem like they can be much more consistent and end the season ahead of them.

To be honest, I'm not surprised. Have you taken a look at the Barcelona starting lineup against Galatasaray? If you check it closely, you will find out that there are some key players who always contribute in goals are put on the bench. Aubameyang, Dembele, De Jong, Busquet are on the bench, this should decrease Barcelona power in attacking. I don't know why Xavi rested these important players on the bench, I didn't hear an issue they have a problem with their health. Maybe Xavi wants to try a new strategy or a new player combination for the starting lineup. However, it doesn't look successful.  Bunch of doubtful players were in the starting line up instead the more skillful and impactful players.. They were lucky the goals didn't continue. From the way the goals were coming, I was expecting even more 3 goals but, they managed to hold it at 5. It was a very bad play on the part of Everton, not even an on target shot where as, Spurs successfully directed 7 shots to the net and scored 4 of them with an own goal. Juventus got many key players injured but this did not make Juventus slump, imagine if all key Juventus players returned to their best condition then it is very possible for Juventus to be more consistent and better at collecting points. Dusan Vlahovic is a young player that Juventus have now and Dusan Vlahovic needs more support on the pitch, so Dusan Vlahovic will be a deadly striker for Juventus. I personally have no doubts about Juventus' quality for the top four and in fact, I still expect Juventus to get back on title track for the rest of the season because it can still happen.

I see that Real Madrid by the end of the first half was really angry with the "intractability" of Real Sociedad and now in the second half I expect a defeat with a big score. I think Benzema will still score a goal that will be counted and possibly Vinicius. Manchester City must have followed the Liverpool - West Ham match closely. Because they were hoping Liverpool to lose this match or at least draw with West Ham. This would have really happened actually as Liverpool had a hard time scoring their second goal which would have made them relieved. But Liverpool still didn't give much chance to their competitor in the second half and secured a 1-0 victory. The point gap is three once again and Manchester City must be feeling under pressure now. We will see if they will make any mistake in the derby match.
