1301  Economy / Economics / Re: After Budgeting, How Do I Deal With Unexcepted Expenses? on: April 28, 2023, 08:53:32 AM
Pouring from the hollow to the empty. This is the old saying, and from that the aphorism was born "The Serbs have perfected pouring from the hollow to the empty, now everything is full."

There's no point in explaining how we deal with "unexpected expenses" because every unexpected situation can be more or less serious, and each of us is in a different financial/life situation... so it's silly to talk about something without knowing all the factors.
I guess most of us are in the "magical circle",  it's hard to find a balance between income and expenses, saving is like a mission impossible with the growing prices around. When something unexpected happens, we don't have many choices, we need to reorganize at the given moment. Depending on the seriousness of the situation, sometimes we have to borrow money or sell something (if we have something to sell) in order to solve the problem that arose. Life can be really tricky and hard sometimes, seemingly without solutions... But whatever happens, we have to keep a cool head, think about the problem that has arisen and find solutions that are available to us.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: April 28, 2023, 06:21:29 AM
It's possible, but I don't think we're anywhere near it just yet.

AIs give us the convenience that we need to have an easier life. It makes our tasks much lighter because of the advanced technology it possess. For coding or any related concern in programming or even school related tasks, AI can be of great help. It can also be of great help if it will be developed to analyze human emotions then pinpoint what kind of move the opponent will make or even predict the possible card combination held. If this will happen, the player using such will be at advantaged.

It could have pros and cons in online poker in general if ever the time comes it could see through almost everything.

People will try to use AI for making profits, in gambling, or some other ways. I think some people are already deep into that... it's a question is it working for them or not? When it comes to poker, AI can't destroy it, and I am sure it will not work perfectly all the time... just like I have lucky and unlucky days, AI will have them too. And can you imagine a table with all AI players? In the end, someone needs to lose on that table... poker and cards can be crazy sometimes, I am not sure that AI is aware of that.

Look, I know you are a shit poster. I saw you posted on the BTCgosu thread saying BTCgosu is a good casino. LOL. Here is a friendly Suggestion; Before writing any post, do a little research so you don't end up writing shit.

Trust me, he will not answer your questions but I hope he will give at least a reply to apologize that he did something wrong.
Anyone who have played at bc.games must be familiar with what BCD is, his post just shown that he said something randomly without knowing about it.

Even his answers don't make much sense...

We are required to complete wagering requirements to unlock the locked BCD balance.

I have few hundred $BCD locked in my account and yes I need to wager to unlock it and because of this discussion I logged in to my account to check and noticed that I have some unlocked BCD that I can use to play a bit.  Grin

1304  Economy / Economics / Re: First Republic Bank fall: fear of more others to follow. on: April 27, 2023, 07:18:43 PM
If the banks are capable to pay out all the deposits to the people, who want to withdraw them, there's nothing to worry about.
The real problem will appear, when the banks don't have any money to pay their depositors. It seems that First Republic Bank is handling the situation very well. It's normal for the banks to start facing difficulties. The interest rate hikes are intended to drive the financial sector into stagnation. This will lower the inflation and the economy will stop depending on the money printing machine(at least for a while).
The key word here is "if". The very architecture of the modern banking system is such that not a single bank in the world can withstand the "raid of depositors." Typically, banks' reserve requirements for equity capital do not exceed 10-15% (and this is an optimistic estimate). No one knows how many paper unrealized losses that arose after a sharp rise in the key rate are in reality on the balance sheets.

The architecture of the modern system. The entire system is fucked up:

Quote
Kwon, suspected of being the one behind the losses of over 40 billion dollars, was arrested at the airport in Montenegro’s capital of Podgorica on March 23.

His company in Serbia was registered with the main activity of “consultancy services,” and was established with 100 Serbian dinars in capital, which is less than a euro.
- Source: Arrested “crypto king” sets up company in Serbia while evading Interpol

I saw and heard about many systematic scams in which many institutions were involved. But did we ever have some real closure? I don't think so...
And banks are at the top of the pyramid, everything goes through them in the end. And whatever shit they make the governments will bail them out and the board of directors will receive their bonuses at the end of the year.
1305  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: April 26, 2023, 08:20:23 PM
Do we have any casino that can meet up with stake standard right now in the industry...

Honestly speaking probably no.

... because as we all know stake has built a well-defined reputation both here in the forum and outside the forum and this is what most casinos have not been able to meet up with?
Take for example I read somewhere that stake allowed a user to withdraw up to 200k winning without them demanding for KYC and this is what is rare among most casinos.

But I like some other casinos a lot more. In the end, each of us is free to discover different crypto-gambling casinos, and there are some really good places. I am having fun on Wolf... after months of not visiting them, I started again. They have something unique that draws me in. So people should be free and test different places in the end, if you don't try it yourself you will not know is it good for you or not.
1306  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the pet industry recession-proof? on: April 26, 2023, 06:58:31 PM
I am thinking out of the box and with the current technology development we are not too far from reaching the complete virtual reality world so why would someone is going to spend a lot of money from their monthly earnings when they are capable of watching the same animal either its a dog, cat or fish or anything then I would choose the advanced virtual reality.

Yes, it may not completely same as the pet near us but trend will change everything so I wonder pet industry does have any potential at all in the next decade?

You can't believe it... I couldn't believe it either, but after watching a few documentaries I changed my mind. Some people in some countries spend more money on their pet/pets weekly than I earn from months of working. Pedicures, manicures, hairdressers. special shops with clothes and all "accessories", everything for beloved pets. I don't think we will see this trend dropping to some lower levels, pets have become a substitute for children, partners, friends... there were many such cases before, but every year more and more people decide on this path.

The pet industry is growing year after year, but I don't think we can say that the pet industry is recession-proof. If I take my city as an example 10 years ago we had one or two pet stores (+300k city population), and now we have them on every corner. Supply is definitely rising, but demand will not rise to infinity.

When it comes to the prices, I have pets, and feeding them cost a lot more compared with the prices from a year ago.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Politicians behind the development of gambling platform on: April 26, 2023, 01:21:43 PM
Politicians have their hands in everything, nothing can happen without them. I guess in some developed countries there are some rules and regulations about "conflict of interest" in this matter, and maybe even more important those rules and regulations are applied. In my country, this is shady as it can be... gambling is on the up-trend, casinos are almost everywhere, and they are generating a lot of income. There are rules and regulations, but there are tricks on how to avoid them as well. It's especially easy with the help of corrupted institutions that stay blind to whatever happens.

1308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: April 26, 2023, 07:39:25 AM
...
You could possibly start with $20 just for the experience; don't expect to make any significant profit, while there's a decent chance that you'll waste your money, like others already mentioned. If you're okay with that, go ahead. However, is it worth it? I'm not exactly sure. In my opinion, I believe you should try just to experience what's being mentioned in the thread, and you'll be the one to judge if it's worth it or not. Personally, I've stuck to holding.

If he doesn't try, he'll never know if trading is for him or not. And $20 is good as any other amount, people should always start with the amount of money they can afford to lose. We must also know how to try something, and how to check the markers before jumping into an unfamiliar. Rushing blindly into the unknown is dangerous.

And of course, it's worth it. Experience is essential, trying and learning about new stuff is important. Holding is good, but trading is also interesting, and some people are doing pretty well. The point is that OP won't know if trading is for him or not if he doesn't try it.
1309  Economy / Economics / Re: "Greedflation" has gone too far! on: April 25, 2023, 08:28:18 PM
1. And then suddenly bang, and just like that - they started bombing and imposing sanctions? Or have I missed something?

And just like that... a few of us went to Mcdonald's that evening. On the way home we heard the sirens for the first time... I still remember that beating when I got home a few hours later.

You missed a lot of things as always. And I am not sure what I get into discussions with you when you are a "one-sided man". You justify crimes if that works for you. For me, all criminals should be punished... but in reality, the biggest criminals always get away, in all parts of the world. When you understand that maybe you will start seeing this world from another perspective.

It's not all about the money and weapons, about being a stronger or superior one... can we all have a normal and peaceful life in this world or not? Do all people in this world have the right to life or does it only apply to the chosen ones?

I will not get deeper in discussion with you, you need to expand your views. If you ever visit Serbia, or you decide to visit Serbia, I am here for you. I will show you the history since Emperor Constantine, and even earlier if you want. Balkan is a beautiful place despite all the shit that happened here.

1310  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 25, 2023, 06:48:59 PM
There are kinds of gambling we play in our local settings doesn't demand the inclusion of money, it's all for the fun that comes with it and it's still regarded as gambling just same way with the superpick game. They're all gambling without or without money involved.

You didn't feel it... maybe you are too young, or older but without experience. Anyway, if you don't risk you don't gamble! And the more you risk the higher excitement can be! Some people feel it and get hooked for life.

Once again I can only point out that risking money is not the craziest gambling, in the chase of excitement people are ready to risk a lot more than "just money". That risk and excitement that comes from that can't be felt in playing "demo modes or playing some games on your console".

It's not gambling if you don't risk any money (or anything else) for a chance to get something more from that. End of story. OP should lock this thread, some comments are really ridiculous. Spend some time reading others before you post anything...
1311  Economy / Gambling / Re: A reminder for gamblers to avoid FortuneJack (ongoing lawsuit, 120k usd stolen) on: April 24, 2023, 06:27:48 PM
But there is one more thing: The courts are not the ones who run these casinos. So if they can't steal users funds anymore by simply closing accounts, common sense says they'll be finding new ways to cheat customers.... So watch out to play only provably fair (that you actually understand) games and live games where you can actually verify you're not being cheated.
I had my history with fortunejack and they have some strange policies with their legal team that resulted in confiscating of my coins.
They recently sent me last email saying that my account will be closed because of inactivity after I didnt want to perform kyc verification.
It was my choice to stop using and recommending them, and I accepted my loses, but I would be real pissed if that amount was 120k.
I am not saying fj is a scam, but there are much better casinos around.

I stopped playing at FortuneJack on February 19, 2018. I found my thread from that time... Not a huge problem, but their support was horrible, and after that "incident" with slots I stopped playing and I never visited FJ again. I found much better casinos around, and I still think that some other casinos are better than FJ.
As Notblox1 I will not say that FJ is a scam, they had a good start, but something in their "relationship" with us players went sideways. I don't have any plans to try them again...
1312  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BINOBI - BEST ONLINE CASINO |🚀BINOBI Affiliate Program| 💸Earn with RevShare on: April 24, 2023, 01:17:22 PM
Hello, KYC is not needed for depositing and withdrawing money. Players can play from anywhere in the world where the gaming business is allowed. At the moment we have a restriction on the United States of America.

Your Terms and Conditions provide a much wider list of restricted territories:

Quote
For various legal or commercial reasons, we do not permit accounts to be opened or used by customers resident in certain jurisdictions, including but not limited to: Afghanistan, Algeria, Antigua & Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bahrain, Belgium, Bhutan, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Central African Republic, Chad, Côte d'Ivoire, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea), Democratic Republic of the Congo, Denmark, Eritrea, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guinea-Bissau, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Iceland, Israel, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Myanmar, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles (Curacao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba, Aruba), Norway, Oman, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of the Congo, Reunion, Romania, Russia, Saint Martin, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Somalia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syrian Arab Republic, Sudan, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, United States (and its dependencies, military bases and territories i.e. U.S. Minor Outlying Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands), Vanuatu, Yemen. or other restricted jurisdictions ("Restricted Jurisdiction") that are reported by us from time to time.

Hello, that's right, this is a ban from the provider.
That's really a lot, other casinos in this forum aren't that strict.

It's not surprised to see many EU and US territories get restricted due to their strict regulations, but there are many Asian country get banned when their laws aren't that strict.

If you have run many advertising and marketing in various places but you still not get many gamblers to sign up into your casino, you need to reconsider to not use the gambling provider which have strict laws.

Various providers have different countries on their ban lists, when you have many providers a list of banned countries is long. Serbia is also on the list, and I am already aware of which providers are most likely banned for me. I guess it would be interesting to see what BINOBI thinks about VPN and do they allow it...

Welcome to the forum! I think your site looks very nice, it is very similar to a popular crypto casino from this forum, but that is the look we all like, with many features. "Daily" and " win real crypto by free play" coming soon and  I wonder what this is about, it seems interesting.
1313  Economy / Economics / Re: Why America Can Be The Biggest Economy In The World? on: April 24, 2023, 09:50:43 AM
.....
You do love to talk about other nations but as I have started earlier, other nations did human rights violations too and I agreed to that, and I have said that USA wasn't the first. However as you can see the topics name is why america is richer, not why spain or uk or any other nation. If you want you can open a topic about other nations and we can talk about them.
....

It looks like my English is bad Smiley Or someone has a bad attention Smiley
Let me just write two sentences, it will be clearer:
1. Read my first post - there about the reasons why the United States is the richest country, why they have the most powerful economy, army, politicians, and all of them, who for good and who with malice, envy.
2. In response, they began to write to me that this is all based on slavery and the destruction of the local population. And in response to these dubious statements, I painted what happened, when it happened, who was a direct participant in these crimes.
And now some are trying to turn my thought around and present it, supposedly I’m talking about nothing at all about what the essence of the topic is, and I’m trying to justify the crimes .....

I hope you understand what I wrote? Smiley

The US is the best country in the world? Is that what you want to say in all of your comments? And they can shit wherever they want, but they are the best and their reasons are always justified? Smiley

Captain Corporate wrote some very nice comments... great job man! Everything you wrote is true, and we are still trapped in the same system. The ones in power are doing whatever they want, and they don't care much about anything except more power and more money. History is dark, and many people/places around the world are still dark.

There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin...

Well, I agree there are advantages when choosing Bitcoin from gambling, but the crypto-gambling scene is booming in the last few years, so now we have many good coins for gambling, on-chain casinos, and I will dare to say that some of them are even better than Bitcoin. Lower transaction fees, faster transactions... who chose Monero for gambling will have more privacy.

I guess we need to be free to explore crypto and try different stuff, and there are a lot of new and interesting projects around... who knows, maybe you will find something that you like!
1315  Economy / Economics / Re: Retirement Age for Workers - Does this Make Sense? on: April 23, 2023, 07:47:25 PM
...
What sense does this make? Would you agree or disagree?

"Full retirement" in Serbia is at 65 years and 40 years in service, for men. If you have only one of those conditions met you can go to pension, but it will be reduced by some %! Before in "communism and socialism" it was different, but now we have capitalism.  And as I read from the news we will go to 67.5 soon, but nobody will raise their voice about that... So I have respect for French workers, they fight for their rights. I hope they will endure... but it will be tricky.

I am not sure if that makes or doesn't make any sense, I guess it all depends on where you live... in which part of the world you belong. The conditions are different when you move a bit on any side. The point should be on people who fight for their rights, if we do not fight for our rights we can't expect some changes.

Taking risks can sometimes bring luck, friends, but we still have to sort out which risks to take and consider everything so that we are not wrong when making decisions in playing several rounds.
My advice is to do research first and consider all the risks that you can experience so as not to lose more money when you take the wrong action.
Poker is a game that relies on intelligence and experience, so you can't play just hoping for luck to come, so do whatever it takes to play poker well.
You don't need to regret having missed a few rounds because there are still opportunities for other opportunities, friends.

Even here? Don't you have any shame?

I decided to play. I have an outside chance of making the final 9 for the 5th tourney otherwise I would have skipped this week. Good luck to you folks. Hopefully this week goes better than the rest have gone to this point.

Well, it's tricky for me as well. I didn't have much luck in the past games as well, so I hope for some points tonight. At least we reach the final table this week... I hope we will see at the final table, it's a long stretch I know, but it's possible! Smiley

Good luck guys!

Edit: Well, with 9 place and just a point or two I lost my chances for the final table! Good luck to all of you! I hope for new series in the future! Smiley

Curaçao will be under scrutiny in June as the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF) conducts an investigation into the country's compliance with international norms regarding anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism and proliferation.
...
The CFATF assessment will ultimately determine whether Curaçao is considered a country that complies with these guidelines. If it is found that Curaçao does not or insufficiently comply, it will be publicly identified as a country with deficiencies in its framework.

EU tax "grey list"

In addition to the CFATF assessment, Curaçao's financial sector is facing the challenges posed by the EU tax "grey list."
...

Well, Curacao is shady as it can be I guess... but they are tax heaven for that reason. I bet this is not the first "investigation", so whatever the results may be I doubt that we will see some big changes.

Maybe I am wrong, and maybe something is coming for Curacao sector, I guess we will see. Maybe these casinos are preparing something new, for different kinds of bonuses and promotions... shutting down the old ones and preparing for new ones?

I just noticed that BC no longer has rakeback, and it didn't mean anything special, at least to me, some other sites have better rakeback and promotional days with more significant rakeback.

Congrats for those who thought wheel spin reward would appreciate slightly and saved, I didnt bother to do that this time.   Will it max out is the question now and where is that because I lost track of the pivotal price.

As I thought, after a short time we are going up again, yesterday was 44 hours/RP's. I guess we will see 50 again in the upcoming days, I'm still saving my spins, currently a little over 1700 WoF spins.

Free rolls are not something that someone can get rich on, but there is always a chance to win $200 or some other slightly bigger winnings than those initial 7 satoshis (more or less depending on the BTC price). For some, even that $1.44 per hour would be a very good salary, because in some countries people work a whole month for less than $10.

As you say, you collect a few more things in each free roll, and each 1 reward point can be exchanged for 1 satoshi when you collect 100 000 of them.

I agree but the chance that you win 200$ is very very slim. It doesn't take much time to do the freerolls and lets not forget that what today is maybe worth 0.002$ can become 0.02$ or even higher. If you only collect RP for free rolls, it will take years before you reach the 100,000 RP mark but it is a nice extra.

I guess the chances of winning $200 are more than very slim... I rarely hit some higher prize, it's usually (almost always) just the base reward. After years of trying, hitting $200 or winning the lottery (or at least being in the top 10) are still unfulfilled dreams for me. Anyway, I don't plan to stop...

1319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't encourage multiple trading! on: April 22, 2023, 06:33:27 PM
My friend loves opening different trades at a time, most at times is difficult for him to control what's should be. Trading on free chart with multiple opening can be very dangerous. Yesterday he experience unusual hit when bitcoin price drops again, four trades loss at once when the market go against him. Personally I don't advise multiple trade especially when you're not familiar with trade

It depends on your friend's risk and reward ratio. If you like to take a higher risk, then you can get a higher reward. So the better option is to control the risk and reward ratio.

Eg: Higher risk -> Higher Reward or loss

I wonder if his friend traded one or more pairs? It's different when people make multiple trades at a time with the same pair, and when people diversify and get into multiple pairs.

I guess that risk and reward ratio explains everything. It doesn't matter if someone goes with one or more pairs, single or more trades, it's about control of risk reward ratio! Those who chase big profits will face higher risks and probably will lose most of the time... those who have control can have fun and harvest profit here and there, maybe nothing big but at least something will come.

...
What if, I get a chance to participate in a lottery without any investment?
If any gambling site offers, free of cost entry in the lottery, i would definitely not miss that one. Smiley

I guess it's freebitco.in. You get lottery tickets for every free spin you make, and if you have referrals (active ones) you can get even more lottery tickets and reward points (that can be cashed out for BTC or used for some boosts) from their free spins. All that without any investments and wagering... you just need a bit of time and energy, and efficient ways for sharing your referral link.

Except that I am not aware there is any other lottery we can participate in without investments/wagering. There are different lotteries in various casinos, but to get a ticket you need to wager a certain amount, but I guess it can be considered as investment, you need to deposit and play (maybe lose) just to win some tickets.
