1301  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are we expecting between now and Bitcoin halving? on: December 19, 2023, 04:51:26 PM
I am just wondering what we are all expecting between now and the Bitcoin halving in April next year. Is it going to be a steady climb till then or is there usually a crash of some kind?
I'm not someone who's aware about the future but according to my speculation, Bitcoin's price will go to at least $60k or a little bit higher at the time of Bitcoin halving. There can be many price corrections during those months but I don't see any kind of crash in the line. Bitcoin will steadily climb and there can be a few dips here and there but there won't be any serious crashes.

my portfolio is currently 26% in profit which I am happy with but wondering if I should keep holding till past the bull run or take some profits now.
I would suggest you to hold you Bitcoin for the bull run because 26% profit is least one could get from Bitcoin as in coming years we may get Bitcoin at $100k or more in value. I believe this bull run is going to be very exciting for the Bitcoin holders.

The Bitcoin can go anywhere around $100k to $250k in this bull run and the returns on one's investment can be very good if it even reaches just $100k in value. Where else someone can get more than 100% profit in two years? That's why I recommend you to just hold your Bitcoin and wait for the price of at least $100k or more than that.
1302  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk mixer ban, Altcointalk is active in that scope. on: December 19, 2023, 03:46:44 PM
We found that the altcointalk forum was not that active even a few days ago. But now altcointalk forum is very active as professional manager is running signature campaign. P
You're right altcoinstalks is very active now but I don't know if the forum was inactive before however the growth it sees after the mixer campaigns moved there is very high. Not only one but two professional campaign managers have running campaigns on that forum that's because they have open-handedly accepted the mixers on their platform. The mixers had to move somewhere to advertise their services and that's why they moved there because from 1st Jan 2024 they aren't allowed to advertise their services on this forum.

Also did you know that the rates they are paying over there are less than what even a Full Member can earn here? That is the difference in the domain rankings of these two sites.
I believe it's the first time when someone has launched signature campaigns on that forum and in initial days I believe the pay is still fine. With the passage of time and growth of the forum the pay may get higher. The pay of the mixer based campaigns was also low a few months ago on Bitcointalk but in current times when mixers aren't yet banned, some users are getting around $250 a week for participating in those campaigns.
1303  Other / Meta / Re: BRC20 tokens are altcoins on: December 19, 2023, 03:10:26 PM
Or will bitcoin tokens be given a separate board for discussion because they are bitcoin tokens?
Those are inscribed on Bitcoin blockchain and that's why the topics related to those tokens can be posted on Bitcoin discussion. Like everyone else said, the ordinals are now a part of Bitcoin blockchain and thus they can be discussed in Bitcoin discussion board.

I know we don't like ordinals or BRC-20 tokens but we'll have to accept the fact that those useless tokens are part of Bitcoin blockchain and that's why it would be unfair to consider them as altcoin. I think moving the ordinals related topics or BRC-20 related topics on altcoin board isn't going to be a good thing.
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone paid $450K for three (extremely) pixelated cartoon characters on: December 19, 2023, 02:17:37 PM
Why in gods name would anyone pay anything for this stupid crap?
Must be some kind of money laundering scheme.
I guess it's not always a kind of money laundering because there are many people who want to earn a lot of money investing in stupid NFTs. I remember the times when people bought NFTs for millions and they can buy those for millions once again.

A money launderer would do something else rather then buying a $450k ordinal. The ordinals are a new craze for many people and they will continue for sometime. We may see ordinals lovers more likely than the NFT lovers because many people believe in Bitcoin and the ordinals are working on Bitcoin blockchain.

Do the team have a plan to launch a signature campaign here to be more competitive and to get more attention coming from active gamblers
I'm sure that they are thinking about running some kind of a signature campaign on the forum because the thread is started by a ranked member of the forum and as @yahoo62278 guessed the same user might be managing the campaign of the casino.

I warmly welcome the new casino on our forum and I hope that we may see a new signature campaign soon. It would be great to hear from the OP and see if he's going to launch a signature campaign to market the casino or the team isn't planning to launch any campaign soon.
1306  Other / Meta / Re: To login I had to go thru over 50 captcha is this normal? on: December 18, 2023, 07:49:56 PM
I like the phrase privacy comes with a cost . It is that price that I am not willing to pay, but anyone who is overly private will pay the price.
Thanks for liking the phrase and yes someone who doesn't cares much about the privacy would never have the patience to solve multiple captcha codes to view a page but the privacy lovers don't really care much about such things because their main concern is the privacy and for that they can solve 100's of captcha codes per day without any hesitation.

Many of the privacy lovers use the operating systems that leave no traces. Tails OS is an example of such operating systems that a group of privacy lovers prefer and they also use multiple VPN's and change their mac addresses each time when they connect to internet. The privacy lovers just don't want anyone to know about themselves and sometimes they also disable JavaScript because that can somehow ruin their privacy.
1307  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 18, 2023, 07:30:56 PM
So, if you could pay 100 dollars to 10 people, that will be 1000 dollars, but if you paid 25 dollars per week per person then you could get 40 people, and if the requirement is at least 25 posts, then you get 1000 posts, instead of 250 posts per week.
I'm pretty sure that the members who are active on the forum and who make good posts would not even apply in a signature campaign that offers them just $25 for whole week's posts. A user with multiple alt accounts may join such campaigns or those users may try to get into such campaigns who don't make good quality posts.

I believe $100 is a good pay and the good post makers would love to join and promote a campaign that offers them such incentives for their work. I believe it's better to have 250 good posts than having 1000 low-quality posts.

The members who get paid $100 or more deserve that money because they spend at least 2-6 hours on the forum and they only make posts about the topics when they are completely sure that their post could be valuable for others.

Yes, if you are talented then you don't need to have any economists or lawyers to run even your multi-billion USD operations. Although, it's not a bad thing to have your lawyers but if you aren't doing anything wrong then you don't need to worry about anyone.

Those who are on the wrong side may need multiple lawyers or support from politicians, and maybe conversations with economists but the ones who are running their bossiness in ethical way should not worry about anyone.
1309  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: December 18, 2023, 07:16:14 PM
For recommendation I guess its not good to rely on someones opinion regarding on what's best casino here since for sure there biases towards certain suggestion and some user may promote those platforms pays them.
I highly agree with you that it's not a good choice to follow someone else's recommendation because they might get paid to shill and promote a casino and that casino in turn can be a fraud. It's always better to look after some reviews mostly on Bitcointalk and see that which casinos are running their signature campaigns on this forum.

The legit casinos spend money on marketing and they mostly market their platforms on this forum. The best thing about those casinos is that they have their representatives on the forum who try to help all those players who somehow face issues on their platforms. I would suggest you to do your own research when choosing a casino.

And, also be careful from the casinos that social media influencers promote because most of them can be scams and the players might end up loosing their funds. I would again suggest you to do your own research when choosing a casino.
1310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins and other cryptos will never become mainstream before... on: December 18, 2023, 04:32:32 PM
Bitcoins and other cryptos will never become mainstream before... people can buy water bottles with them.
That's funny, I'm shocked to see this why would anyone spend Bitcoin to buy water bottles? Bitcoin was meant to be a p2p payment system and it still is but these days people find it more usable as an asset rather than a p2p payment system.

You can't really buy a bottle of Bitcoin at the current network condition because the fee would cost you more than two bottles of water. It's possible to buy bottle of Bitcoin with water in normal network conditions but I'm pretty sure that no one is going to use Bitcoin to buy a bottle of water.
1311  Other / Meta / Re: Ruissian mod? on: December 17, 2023, 12:15:30 PM
Hey there fellas.
Haven't been here for a while and just noticed that so-called Russian has become a moderator of this section. Things are so bad here that Russians aren't only not banned but are allowed to moderate serious topics by the standards of this forum?
Can you please stop creating such dramas against those people who are doing their job sincerely. You said that you have been here for a while even if you become present on this forum no one cares much about that. Just be nice to everyone and try to at least give some respect to the members who have been doing a lot of work as moderators.

The job of a moderator isn't a child's play, the ones who are playing their roles as moderators should not be judged because they are from a particular region. Things aren't bad here, the moderators are selected based on their contribution in stopping those people who don't follow the rules of the forum and if someone from Russia has been selected as moderator then what's wrong with that?
1312  Economy / Gambling / Re: Welcome to 8ombard.com on: December 17, 2023, 10:29:22 AM
we are a custom game that isn't a copy from your usual dice, limbo or crash games. We have created this game from the ground up and have come up with the designs ourselves. We are currently getting a demo ready however to keep it simple, once you funded your account, you simply choose a bet amount and click a box, the box you have chosen will reveal a multiplier which will ultimately determine the outcome of your bet. We aim to keep it simple and unique, and have many plans on developing the game in the future to make it more enjoyable and beneficial for the player.
Welcome to the forum and I would suggest you to go for a signature campaign or review campaign to promote your game. The game looks truly awesome and with some marketing you'll get enough players on your site who'll love to play that game.

It's always better to run a signature campaign on this forum to get more exposure and I recommend you to go for a signature campaign. I'm also interested in trying the game, and it would be a pleasure to review your platform and game to leave my positive feedback about the game and the platform.

I'm pretty impressed by your idea and it would be great to see your project growing sooner. I would again recommend you to run your marketing campaigns on this forum as they will allow you to get some good players on your site within a few days. Best of luck!
1313  Other / Meta / Re: To login I had to go thru over 50 captcha is this normal? on: December 17, 2023, 08:42:16 AM
But if you are in TOR browser then not 50 but even more than a 100 is very normal.
Yeah, that's because the Tor has list of IP addresses and ports it generate. That's something we call tor circuits and they change automatically. Tor users will have to face those issues because privacy comes with a cost and the ones who value privacy doesn't care much about the costs. I rarely use Tor but I must say it's a worthy browser for the ones who love privacy.

1314  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sell yourserlf to potential advertisers | sales pitches included on: December 17, 2023, 08:18:23 AM
It is the longest thread that I have ever read on the forum but it is among those threads that I would always recommend to anyone who want to learn something good and want to introduce themselves to advertisers. Royse, without any doubt you have earned the respect of the community due to your contribution and I highly admire you for being honest and to the point type of a person. You're the first manager who's sharing such topic with the members of the forum and you deserve some respect for it. It's not an easy task to share the knowledge that's allowing you to earn your bread & butter but I and few other members like me know that someone like you would do anything to help the community and it's one of those contributions. Although, you could earn money yourself and would not share the knowledge with others but you are not someone who's earning for himself only and this thread is great example to know that.

I know that in this thread we will have some members who may oppose you or may want to say something like you have made this post to get attention, to show off that how generous you are or to show off how smart you are, but I would say ignore those members as they really don't have anything good to say other than opposing the ones who try to help the community. It's a great piece of knowledge for all those members who want to expand their services, who want to earn money by helping the advertisers. It shows the members that how to earn some extra money in the legit way possible while being part of a crypto-world. I have never found such intense topics like this on the forum and I believe it's something unique that I'm reading on the forum.

This topic has taught me a lot in terms of understanding the power of advertising on this forum. It's a blue-print for all those members who want to earn money by being active on this amazing forum and by sharing their knowledge in the form of posts. It also show us some ways that we can learn to help the community and advertisers by offering our services which would help the advertisers, the community, and ourselves. It's a great service to the community because when new platforms want to advertise their services on this forum the community also gets some benefits and earn some extra income by advertising the services of the advertisers. It's a win-win situation for everyone and it should continue to get better as it would not only help the brands but the community.

Some people say that it's not a good thing to be a part of a signature campaign or they say that the members who apply the signature codes on their profiles only post to earn some money, but they never say a word about the ways they are earning money from the signatures and other stuff. If someone is legitimately earning their bread & butter by making good posts on this forum or by contributing some stuff on the forum then allow them to do so. Those members are not stealing, robbing, or doing something that could harm a society or a community, but they are trying their best to do something that can help others and for that help if they are getting some rewards then it's a good thing I guess.

I'm pretty sure that after reading this thread many people will understand that how the proposal thing works and how it can be helpful to get you into the campaigns. The managers, and the brands who are doing business on this forum will always give priority to those members who spend time on this forum and who make good posts that are helpful for the community. The brands want good exposure on this forum and they can get that exposure only via the profiles of those members who are active and who make good and informative posts on the forum. The established members who have been active on the forum can easily get the attention of the brands because campaign managers know those members and they would accept those members into campaigns to help the brands to get the exposure and earn their share by managing the campaigns for the brands.

I can be a tiring task for those members to get into campaigns who haven't been active or who aren't as popular as the established members of the forum. I used the word "established" for those members who are known for their contribution to the community and people know them by their usernames. A new member or someone who hasn't been active on the forum as those established members may need to work on himself/herself to show the community that they can also be helpful for the community and they can share some good stuff to help others. For those members it would be a great opportunity to get into campaigns to start earning some money and I would say that Royse is the one of those managers who also support the less established members and due to his support many such members are improving themselves and at the same time they are improving the way they make posts.

This thread is one of those posts that will allow the non-established members to get into the campaigns if they are active and at the same time they are trying to help themselves and the community. I hope that the community would take this thread in the positive way and learn something from it. I would highly recommend this thread to all those members who want to learn something that would help them advertise themselves to the advertisers. I think it would be great to see a few more threads like this from Royse and other managers because it would help all those members who want to start their business as a manager. Thank you Royse for making this thread!
1315  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: December 16, 2023, 10:27:26 PM
WTF is that shit?  Now I'm asking seriously now, is that an example of an AI-generated post?  I'm thinking not, because there's supposed to be some intelligence in AI and there's none in the above splat of crapola.  Christ, this forum used to be loaded with posts like that back before the merit system.  I guess there are some crevices in the forum that can't ever be cleaned out completely.
It's the worst we can have on this forum and unfortunately no one report such posts. The AI is much intelligent than such newbies, I'm quite sure the guy who posted that thread isn't aware about AI otherwise a member like him would definitely switch to AI for future post making.

A few people get truly disappointed when they see posts like that, I will definitely report that post because posts like that should not be in Bitcoin discussion as they can ruin the learning experience of all those newbies who are on this forum to learn about Bitcoin not about something like that. I think the guy is totally out of his mind that's why he has created a post like that.

Economy of the community it's a creative nature, for all national common areas scales Every species in an ecosystem plays a role, even if it may not be immediately obvious to us.
Someone just posted this on Bitcoin discussion with the title "What I Understand About Bitcoin," this is the funniest post I have ever seen on this forum. I can't stop laughing, everyone thinks about Bitcoin according to their own mindset, this get should get an award for it. Wink
1317  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: December 16, 2023, 07:11:32 PM
All the bonuses and benefits in the world won’t mean a thing if the casino isn’t reputable and lets you withdraw your funds.
You're right the bonuses won't mean anything if a player is unable to withdraw their funds from a casino. A legit casino would never stop a player from withdrawing his/her funds, I know a legit casino may not offer bonuses of 500% or more on deposit but they at least offer some bonuses and allow the players to withdraw funds without making excuses.

Some shady casinos change their terms when players win huge sums with the bets, mostly they either freeze the funds or ask for KYC details again and again. A legit casino doesn't do that and they give high priority to their players. That's the main reason to choose only casinos that have fair model not the shady ones.
1318  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice for my fellow Newbie on: December 16, 2023, 06:10:41 PM
The truth is that there's no easy way through it concerning merits, just click the beginners board all I could see is merely post concerning merit. Is like you guys are forgetting the purpose of this great forum it was created for Bitcoiners or cryptocurrencies lovers to interact and to gain more knowledge about cryptocurrencies.
It's very nice to see such posts from newbie members. The merits are present on the forum and everyone looks after to get some merits especially the newbies in order to reach the ranks which would allow them to participate in signature campaigns. The users who give proper time to the forum, who create good posts, and who try to help others with their knowledge get merits as reward for their contribution.

I suggest you to be optimistic and create informative posts, you'll see yourself the flow of merits. I have seen newbie members who received so many merits in a few days with just a few number of posts but there were also those newbie members who earned some merits after creating so many posts. The simplest way to earn merits is to create valuable posts and help other members with your knowledge and ideas. Focus more on learning things about Bitcoin and crypto-currencies and share your knowledge in the form of posts.

5 to 10 years if you buy some every week you will be a multi millionaire
No, it's not possible for everyone to be a millionaire or multi-millionaire by investing $1 to $100 per week. If someone spends around $100 per week on Bitcoin by following a DCA strategy it would take around a full year to acquire to accumulate just a small portion of Bitcoin. At current price of Bitcoin and it's up moving trends I don't think that someone can accumulate a full bitcoin even in 5 years if he/she does $100 DCA strategy for consistent 5 years.

The DCA strategy can help someone to accumulate Bitcoin but that strategy won't make everyone millionaire. I would still say that someone who invests $100 per week on Bitcoin will be able to accumulate enough Bitcoin in 5-10 years and that would make someone financially stable if Bitcoin reaches $1M to $10M a coin. You can of course become financially stable by following a weekly DCA strategy but it won't make you a millionaire in 5 years.
