1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The higher the rise, the bigger the plunge (btc vs alts) on: October 12, 2017, 09:41:02 PM
i mentioned in another post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2215533.msg22349089#msg22349089) that we'd see BTC approaching 6,000$ by mid october - apparently i wasn't so wrong. but i agree that there'll be major pullbacks. BTG is a joke fork with light atmosphere around it and people just seeing the opportunity for free money. Segwitx2 is wholly different. it is highly contentious and will probably bring lots of FUD. i expect BTC to drop more dramatically than 4,500$ before that, perhaps even back down to 3,000$. i think only part of the money will stay with solid alts. most of it will probably go in tether and especially fiat. however, IF the fork will be successful and the community will manage to consensually handle its aftermath, then we may really have Lambo times ahead for our alts - something like last spring, i would hope. but it remains a very big IF atm.

...we all know that making any predictions in crypto is a bit like trying to see the future through astrology, but this is where i stand now...

I agree 100%

thanks. i've also come across some of your other posts advocating first NEO and now SNM, and it really seems that we share quite a few opinions on crypto Wink

Yeah I'm really active on this website, I'm actually making the transition to full time trader so the more threads I follow, the more I'm forced to learn, the better I'll trade. Happy trading friend!
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is a message to all crypto holders on: October 12, 2017, 09:39:10 PM
Very nice time for hodlers, my suggestion is to stick with the big names: BTC, ETH, LTC. All of them will rise a lot even mid term (3-6 months) imho.

I'd consider eth and ltc a wise investment, but btc not right now. Never chase a pump, you might make a few % profits but the alts are so much more lucrative right now

How often do you get a reward coin from mining art?

Daily I believe
1304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits all-time high on: October 12, 2017, 09:37:17 PM
Just remember that the last All Time High was $4900, and now it is only increasing, it is incredible how faster it is going up, it is just like a beer, the foam is only going up day by day.
I wonder if there is going to be any other dump in some time, i hope that no  Grin
Next ATH will probably be 5,5k if we are lucky, maybe a little bit more, but there is no way that it can be 6k before the end of this month, please, be more realistic people

I guess it'll go to 6K and drop back down to 4500, at which point the alts will make their comeback. Invest in the alts now, invest in bitcoin when the alts are surpassing ATH's left and right (which will happen sooner than later)
I have long expected the price to rise and of course I am happy about it, but when everything has already happened, I do not know how to react to everything. we hope that bitcoin will not fall again.

Why not? Wouldn't that be a great opportunity to buy? Or do you believe bitcoin will only go to 6K once and never surpass that point again? Once you start asking yourself these questions, you'll find that dips, crashes and FUD are all ways to make a good amount of money because the rich people pick up what the scared people drop
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: October 12, 2017, 09:31:20 PM
The best cryptocurrency to buy are those cryptocurrencies that has a high price and high exchange rate. I think those cryptocurrencies can be Ethereum and Bitcoin because they has a higher exchange rate. This two cryptocurrencies are the most popular cryptocurrencies in our country that why I choose etheir of the two.

I do agree,, and with BTC price rising this week, I think BTC has a better chance to profit in the future for you to invest...

Waves and Ripple look promising

Waves is okay but how is Ripple promising? Over 10 billion dollar marketcap in highly centralized coin, if they want to dump over you they can do it for free. Ripple is the toy of their speculators. They can drive the price anywhere they want. Ripple is very high risk investment.

I do believe Ripple is a high risk... Waves and ETH is better ALT to invest ~

Ripple has some good things coming, I didn't invest but I'd consider it a good buy right now. Waves and Eth are solid, but it surprises me how few people talk about Sonm, which is by far the biggest gem i've ever found
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SONM will explode on: October 12, 2017, 09:28:39 PM
whats so good about SNM?
There's a jpeg floating around somewhere that breaks down the advantages that SONM has over other similar projects.
I am sure you mean this image:
http://i64.tinypic.com/qzlu1y.jpg
I believe that SONM is by far the best cryptocurrency to invest in at this moment, so that is what I have done. I expect a natural growth on every update, release and partnership they make.
I don't believe about that, this was pretty odd to see about the comparison between all of the project, actually golem has the better historical rather than sonm and this time the price back to the bottom and that can be considered as only pump to hype the sonm token.
You don't seem to know what you are talking about. How can going back to ICO price be hype? Golem is not historically better either, since there is not enough data to even make that decision right now. We will see in January which project performed better in its first 6 months. And even that info is largely irrelevant because people buy blindly without understanding fundamentals.

I find that I agree with most, if not all, of your comments. Great minds think alike hahaha

Victor Kisliy, founder and C.E.O. Wargaming, creator of the legendary World of tanks, plans for the future. Personal conversation, video conference Skype.

From an interview today on October 12, 2017, from an office in Minsk.

In a desktop scenario, you only need to make a step-by-step strategy. Real time is a soccer field. It's all serious, you can earn money. I say, look at how much it earns.

We realized that there must be localization to each individual market, and we wanted to reach out to the audience and the Russians and the Americans and the Chinese. We have to invent our own universe. We decided to narrow it down. Well, let's just get the tanks! But you have to understand that we have very mild monetization. 70-75% of people will never pay us anything in their lives. And that's okay. The game is designed so that you can just play and enjoy the game process without making real money. But there's a moment here that your coin can act as a different bonus, and in the case of one cryptocurrency, you end up with one cent. Concept of free-to-win.

But we realized when looked. Yes, we understand that there are holding companies, lots of both big and medium-sized businesses, but we're not so interested in that. We have 16 offices all over the world now. I'm just listing-Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Peter, Kiev, Minsk, London, Nicosia, a small unit in Berlin for German marketing, Paris is a European publishing house, San Francisco is an American publishing, and a U.S. Chicago, A small unit in Baltimore-Seattle, Austin.

We have X number of legal entities in different jurisdictions to perform different tasks. In Cyprus, everything could be gathered together to build a single company. For that, all the conditions, all we need, are Deloitte, here KPMG. This is all in large numbers, the imperial system, including the movement, a large number of workers have been trained in London and the Americas, a tradition here. And you can do business here.

We must approach reality objectively. Yes, we've all won! But you can't momentum the tempo of tomorrow to make a mistake that will change your mind. So every day we keep our hands on the pulse, we have a scientific approach to the whole case. Develop a service component.

Total. They're very interested in the coin. Waiting for the site and the concept. The prospect is enormous. Price 1 cents reality.

The conversation was long and saturated.

My friend, if you can pull this off and get Dimecoin to 1 cent I will donate 25K to whatever charity you want (and I believe/hope you can do it)

Bitcoin will reach $6000 to $7000 by time the 2nd fork starts in November. I don't see altcoins rising back before then.

Could be, I'm actually hoping it'll take a little longer before the alts go back up, I get paid in the beginning of november so if they stay down until then I can pick me up a few more good alts lol
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy again? on: October 12, 2017, 08:15:32 PM
Buy Alts right now, and sell Bitcoin around october 18th and put all the profits back into the alts
For now if you do have the funds to buy on altcoin then this is the best time to buy those cheap alts since most of them are on reds because of the fork hype which people sell out their stashes just to accumulate bitcoin
because they know they can  get bitcoin gold on the upcoming fork which is actually a free money that most people do love. For alts this is the best times for cheaper coins.

People are stupid, it's free money sure but really not even close to the amount you could make by investing in the right alts right now. 1 bitcoingold is worth 1/10th, so if you want 500$ you need to invest 5000$. Not too many people have 5K to invest, so the free money they'll get will be nothing too special. This will in fact be one of the reasons why bitcoin might dump hard after the fork.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you find your ICO's ? on: October 12, 2017, 08:10:25 PM
choosing ICO it is important not to forget how many tokens the developer keeps to himself and whether the emission of new tokens
That number is only important if the number of tokens they are going to keep to themselves is very high I remember reading that UNIKOIN backed by Ashton Kutcher and Mark Cuban plan to keep 80% of the coins to themselves and yet they wanted to raise like 100 million that means that out of the gate they earn 400 million dollars, and that in my book is a huge red flag.

celebrity endorsements are a red flag to me too

I also think that a good project does not make sense to spend money on celebrities, it's better to invest in the project itself

Exactly, these are financial services, not coffeemachines or perfumes lol

LOL, I agree with both of you guys.  Sorry fact though is, a lot of people out there only want to buy something based on whether or not their favorite actor or sports figure wants/has it.  So, I can see the advantage in this situation.  By using their money to pay a famous person, they are really, really hoping to drive their coin up.

True, the average people always look for things they know and understand, when confronted with something they don't know or understand. If it helps people invest knowing an illiterate multimillionair boxer, who has been scammed out of millions before, invested in something, great!
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: October 12, 2017, 08:07:36 PM
Better pick some up while majority is looking to make some quick bucks. SONM if isn't accumulated by investors who are seeking good profit then there will perhaps be more suitable time. Bitcoin will be stable soon and then these market will start working to give money.

Picking up some right now is really smart, we saw the market tested a pump to 0.25$, right now we're at half that price. You could buy 10.000 for 1.2K and close the year with 10K in your pocket when the coin inevitable goes to 1$. I'm even thinking it could reach 20$ in 5 - 10 years time, giving them a +-8 billion dollar cap, 33% of ETH's current cap; if we look at how NEO, ETH, Stratis, and so many other coins had massive ROI's, Sonm definitely fits the bill project wise. They talked with giants like Intel, HP, Microsoft, ... Imagine if they develop a Sonm-HP laptop fit for global high speed supercomputing...
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: red pulse ICO worth it? on: October 12, 2017, 08:02:09 PM
When rpx will be traded in the market? any clue about that? i'm interested to see about the feedback from the crypto market about the rpx project in the future. I'm really impressed for that.

Waiting for this info myself...

November will be the first listing

Interesting, very keen on some concrete info on this.

Were did you hear "November" was the month? (or just expected speculation)
Also do we have any idea on trading pairs - preferably you'd like to trade Neo - Rpx but I can imagine it'll just be BTC or ETH (dependent on the exchange).

BTC and ETH isn't a bad thing at all (probably exposes RPX to a whole bunch of new 'money'), but NEO trading pairs would be more preferable in the long run - In my view its one of the things NEO needs to be a top stable coin.

I think I saw a retweet somewhere, but usually listings happen a few weeks after ICO's are finished.
1314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits all-time high on: October 12, 2017, 07:59:03 PM
Time to invest? Bitcoin tops the $5,000 mark

Yes, as expected already, Bitcoin keep increasing and its price actually is 5300$ almost. Thats really the best opportunity for the long term holders, and for BTC traders in general, because the price will continue rising most likely in the few next months at least.
It is time to invest and buy some bitcoins, especially if your plan is long term holding.

If you want high risk low reward investments, invest in bitcoin right now. It might get to 6K but once the bitcoingold craze is over it'll dump hard, probably back to a little under 5K. It'll pick back up, sure, I could see us talking about a 10K bitcoin by summer next year, but right now the alts are where the big bucks can be made. They're all so cheap right now, not because they lost their value, but because people wanted 'free money' with bitcoingold, thats it.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is a message to all crypto holders on: October 12, 2017, 07:48:42 PM
I wonder when friends will stop saying that crypto currency is all a hoax?) Despite the fact that I show them real figures and projects. By the way, what do you think about Confideal. I plan to put some money in him

same problem, most people around me said that crypto currency is a hoax. They really do not believe in it although I have proved it in a lot of ways. It's hard to make someone believe. I am working alone because no one trust me and crypto currency.

They'll stop saying that when it becomes mainstream. When bitcoin will be used to pay in stores through cards like Change and Centra, when your friends lose their jobs because blockchain smart contracts has replaced them, when they buy a Sonm X Intel supercomputing laptop that makes them money, when they can sell their data through the Datum network and make money, ...

When circulating supply will get fixed to the accurate amount there still showing old supply even more than 500k destroyed.

Probably after the artemine ICO, as they're planning to burn all the contributed MNE
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: October 12, 2017, 07:21:59 PM
I've been wanting to invest more in BTC, but I think i missed the boat on that.  I'll probably wait now and see if it dips back down momentarily.  If so, I'll be waiting on the sidelines to grab more while it's still low.

Buy the alts now that they're down, prices didn't drop because the alts are bad, they dropped because everyone seems to want bitcoingold for free. Once that craze is over, people will invest their money back in the alts. I believe Bitcoin should be comfortable sitting at 45% marketcap dominance, which means about 10% (by the time the fork happens) should flow right back into the alts (and ofcourse some fiat). I believe close to 15 billion will go right back to the top 5% best alts out there (NEO, SONM, ETH, LTC, LSK, ...), so please, don't try to chase a pump that's gonna make you 5% profits, get in on the alt pump that's gonna get you 500% profits

apart the multiple possibility of selling the address, is there any substantial difference between 1 artemine address with 10000 arte tokens and 10 artemine addresses with 1000 arte each?

Nope
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in October on: October 12, 2017, 06:57:10 PM
In October (15th) will be Pally ICO, take a look, Etherdelta confirmed listing Wink

etherdelta sucks lol
Please kindly say why:(

because there it is very inconvenient to trade, small volumes and large spreads. Enough  cons

Will be one more major exchange confirmed soon Wink for Pally Token ( Pally ICO - 15th october)

Good! Etherdelta is kinda the little kids table, most coins start there but they're just not n the same level as binance and such
