I'm pretty confident that all the people spewing unpleasantness are themselves self-hating black jewish one legged refugee lesbians. It's the internet way.

Embrace yourselves. Don't be ashamed.
13022  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can we see coin mixing services as money laundering services ? on: September 18, 2016, 11:56:22 AM

Well some mixing services have 2000 up to 5000 btc which is an amount much higher than any hitman can ask for doing his dirty job.

Riiight.

I'd bet my life that every single hitman on the dark net is an 11 year old scammer.

Do you accept 5-6 BTC to murder a stranger and potentially spend the rest of your days behind bars. Or do you accept 5-6 BTC, or perhaps half upfront, and, like, not do it?

Golly, that's a poser.
13023  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Whats the best bitcoin wallet app? on: September 18, 2016, 10:48:29 AM
Just use blockchain.info forget about dedicated Apps, that site is all you need. And they give you access to your private key, you can export it anytime.
They have impeccable reputation and so far I never heard about them freezing any account or block users.

They can't freeze you. They don't seem to have a shortage of irritating glitches, though. I started off using them but ran away screaming eventually. They themselves may always be secure but the problem will always be security at the user end. I couldn't guarantee that I'd stay secure so shopped elsewhere.
13024  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which US presidential candidate will back Bitcoin? on: September 18, 2016, 10:36:28 AM
Um, declaring yourself all in with Bitcoin might gain you a few hundred votes and alienate all the millions who still think it's a ponzi. The libertarian fella is accepting it. Expect nothing but silence from the big dogs.
13025  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Was there ever a profitable cloud mining site? on: September 18, 2016, 10:23:14 AM
By their very nature, they have to start off appearing to be profitable to draw suckers in. Like any Ponzi if you get in early and get out you may well end up making some profit. I can think of other things I'd rather be risking my money on.
13026  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Whats the best bitcoin wallet app? on: September 18, 2016, 10:21:24 AM
Do you want the Bitcoin to spend elsewhere pretty rapidly or are you looking for some long term storage? That's going to influence your choices.

Personally I use Mycelium for smaller amounts for spending. Paper wallets do the job for the rest.
13027  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-09-16] ‘Keys to the Kingdom’: Ulbricht Defense Slams Court in Latest Brief on: September 18, 2016, 10:07:15 AM
I think poor old Ross's conviction was so politically charged there'd have to be some type of miracle to gain a neutral reassessment. Perhaps it'll come a few years down the line. Right now daddy government is still feeling vengeful.

As for Ross Ulbricht, I think he got framed on the murder part

This didn't come up in his trial at all and he wasn't convicted of anything related to it. They had all the ammo they wanted just on the drugs bit. The hit bit is rather confusing overall but I wasn't there so won't declare anything.

13028  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can we see coin mixing services as money laundering services ? on: September 18, 2016, 10:01:27 AM
My opinion was that these services owners were unmoral persons who made profit thanks to criminals, murderers, drug cartels money lauderin wishes..

What use would a murderer have for a mixing service? And drug cartels traditionally have a slightly higher turnover than the average mixing service can handle.

It's sensible to cut the link between your coins and their past.
13029  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ThePirateBay shutting down for good??? on: September 18, 2016, 09:42:52 AM
I don't understand the reason behind that. Shouldn't torrent sites attract corporate level advertisers? I mean I know Google Adsense won't pay a dime for them.

That's not going to reflect too well on Apple if they were all over Piratebay. I assume the scummier and scammier the advertiser, the higher they'll pay. You could either pay for a nice click on your website or pay for the possibility of breaking into someone's computer and draining them of their worldly wealth.
13030  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All migrants arriving in Italy by boat are blacks... on: September 18, 2016, 09:40:05 AM
That's a very interesting map. Do you know if those are final locations of migrant applications? If I was a young lad from a war zone and especially if I was non white, Serbia would not be very far up my list of dream destinations.
13031  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The real reason white supremacists like saddampbuh are so anti-semitic on: September 18, 2016, 09:37:23 AM
Nothing will stop the seedy anti semitism on here. It seems to be as natural as breathing to a surprising number of people. Considering how long it's been around it's clearly an innate feeling in a lot of humanity.
13032  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will bitcoin survive? on: September 18, 2016, 09:35:42 AM
My cutoff date is 2020. If it's looking broadly similar to where it is now in terms of actual user activity then I'll probably reconsider my position. The way it's set up is rather shark like. It needs to keep on moving and growing if it's to survive.
13033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital currencies in future if btc and alts centralised. on: September 18, 2016, 09:32:42 AM
If it was centralised it wouldn't be Bitcoin any more. And any country adopting it as their national currency would throw away everything including the hard limit to the extent that there'd be nothing recognisable about it any more.
13034  Economy / Speculation / Re: why should anyone invest in btc right now? on: September 17, 2016, 05:16:49 PM
And Myspace was the biggest and 'the best' social media network until Facebook appeared. Yahoo was the biggest and 'the best' search engine until google rose to power etc.

There's no point comparing platforms that people can skip between for nothing when one becomes more fashionable. They have nothing invested other than their filthy content which again can be swapped across.

When your money's on the line your current setup becomes rather more compelling.
13035  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $6000 and Top Altcoins at $600? on: September 17, 2016, 05:01:42 PM
Altcoin price wouldn't touch in that amount its impossible to happen even in the future.. also the price of bitcoin 6k value is impossible to happen right now but after 20 years i think it can be happen but its a long time before we can see that value for bitcoins if bitcoin will be success we are lucky that we are holding bitcoins in a low price..

Twenty years? I'll be rather unimpressed if it's lurking around that level by then especially when you throw in inflation too. As Satoshi himself said it's either likely to be considerably larger or completely dead and abandoned by then. The former works better for me at least.
13036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, emotions and your fine selves on: September 17, 2016, 04:56:53 PM
in my opinion the worst thing in trading is to listen to other people hyping something up. it is also indirectly related to emotions in trading.

there are many people in the trading world that will always get carried away with what they read especially on this forum. for example if there is hype going on about an altcoin they will run to buy that altcoin.

I've got no respect for anyone who's influenced by things they read in a trollbox for instance.

Someone who makes a trade based on someone else writing 'rapecoin 2 da moon lulz loool any second' shouldn't be allowed to dress themselves let alone trade.
13037  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your opinion on recreational drug use on: September 17, 2016, 04:54:29 PM
I don't give a shit what others put into their bodies as long they're not harming people. The most dangerous thing about drug use is how staggeringly boring they make you. I've no interest in being around druggists any more.
13038  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Forget Brexit, the UK will get mass surveillance instead on: September 17, 2016, 04:53:20 PM
I've thought that many times, but nobody said it couldn't get worse. It's also probable it will get even worse out of Europe, as there will be no supranational power to grant consumer rights to anyone, but I guess that's what the Brits wanted.

Well, many countries manage to permit their citizens to live reasonable lives without a big daddy to look after them. Time will tell whether life becomes a heap of shit without the EU nagging away in the background. Swings and roundabouts.
13039  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: September 16, 2016, 07:10:28 PM
I was expecting more oldies. They've got more money and have lived through the adoption of some previously far out technologies. You would've thought they might recognise the signs more easily.
13040  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Account hacked and BTC drained!!! PLEASE HELP!!! on: September 16, 2016, 07:05:15 PM
Is that support email verbatim? The English is questionable in a few places. This smells of a phishing site or a man in the middle type of attack. And what's their definition of an account hack?
