13081  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: enough reading stuff for me time to earn some BTC on: November 11, 2014, 02:42:27 PM
You might want to start small, and get a feel for BTC via faucets. I am currently using 5 x faucets and I get 100 000+ Satoshi per week.

It might sound like nothing, but it's good for a begginer. I am not even doing it a lot, so someone going into this, will show better results.

10 x faucets = 200 000 Satoshi per week
15 x faucets = 300 000 Satoshi per week

Use a faucet rotator.

Faucet payments are also at it's highest point now, with the BTC price being so low.

Use any of these sites.

BitcoinZebra --> http://faucet.bitcoinzebra.com

Freebitco.in --> http://http://freebitco.in

These two, pay +/- 500 to 600 Satoshi per hour up to $200 US if you really lucky, so it will put you on your road to some Bitcoins for now.

One of my downline refferals recently won 0.05527458 BTC and I got a percentage of that, so it did help him/her.

Good luck, and if you want more, BTC you might consider selling some kind of service or goods on the Market place on this forum here :

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

Warning hidden referral links.  It is proper to include referral and non referral links.

An keep in mind with faucets its VERY low paying.  You would get more bitcoins by buying them.  Sell good or services.
13082  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is anyone still buying? on: November 11, 2014, 02:38:15 PM
One thing that helps me over next few months is the cold weather.  It is high 30 F outside.  Winter is my best time to expand.  With ambient like that you have very cool running miners.  With little to no cooling costs.
13083  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmaintech Positive Customer Support Experience!!! on: November 11, 2014, 02:33:42 PM
Their support team is great.  They have been helping me with some miner problems.  Very quick and nice on Bitmain.
13084  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling A2 Terminator 30MHz Scrypt Miner on: November 11, 2014, 01:17:10 PM
Item sold on ebay.  Thank to those who send offers, and of course to the buyer.

Locking thread.
13085  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Buying an ASIC because it gives you a vote on the Bitcoin system. on: November 11, 2014, 02:17:56 AM
Personally I am lucky winter weather, and decent priced electricity.  Asic mining is still alive here.

I personally went for bigger miners, but really like they offer a newer alternative on USB.
13086  Economy / Computer hardware / Selling A2 Terminator 30MHz Scrypt Miner on: November 11, 2014, 01:47:55 AM
Currently it is on Ebay but I also am willing to accept offers on here - (Sold Link Removed)

Price on here I'm looking for around 1.5 BTC (accepting offers) and you pay shipping.  I am not trying to make money off shipping.

Terminator A2 30 MHz Scrypt Miner

Selling a energy efficient scrypt miner, uses around 350 watts! Compared to Zeus/Hashra miners that use around 1000 watts!

This is a very good miner has been very stable for me.  I have used it for Scrypt mining such as LTC, Dogecoin, etc.   Does require a computer to set pools but after that you can let it run on its own!

I have been able to get speeds up to and a little over 30 MHz (please note this might vary for you depending on pool, location, etc i cannot guarantee speed just tell my experience with this miner)

I ship quickly and realize time is money for other miners.   I have sold scrypt miners including video cards, sf-28, and SHA miners. Buy with confidence. Please note there is no return's on this item, this is because of the nature of bitcoin/scrypt mining.   No returns will be accepted.

13087  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Storing bitcoins on: November 11, 2014, 01:00:41 AM
Seems you have had some bad luck.

Make sure to use multi-factor sites.  Treat your private key like gold.   Get it once on USB and Paper i suggest and put in safety deposit box or some very strong physical safe.

With earning more BTC comes risk only you can decide what is worth it for your personal investments.  I would say never invest more then you are willing to lose, that is my saying no matter what is invested in.
13088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Core taking days if not weeks to reindex on: November 10, 2014, 01:08:39 PM
Yes it can take a while to download.  It is only getting bigger.

You can use a lightweight wallet without it.   Or wait for it to catch up.
13089  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How do i wire a power supply? on: November 10, 2014, 01:06:39 PM
Do you mean wire as in making a PSU stay on?

Or actually wiring PCI-e cables you talked about?
13090  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Confused with low GH/s reported by pool for 1.7 TH/s SP20 on: November 10, 2014, 01:37:44 AM
Don't have a SP unit to try it out if it's like the S4 try setting a difficulty of 2048.   With a difficulty set on ghash the S4 seems to work best there.   I would guess the SP with 1.7 TH could use a decent difficulty as well.
13091  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S3+ B11 can't log in on: November 09, 2014, 11:14:36 PM
Have you tried with Gateway: 192.168.1.1   That is the standard gateway.  I know all of mine are using it.
13092  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: No work are accepted on: November 09, 2014, 11:11:46 PM
It would be extremly hard to compete with asics with a standard computer.

You should look into alt coin mining.  I highly suggest doing ROI math most GPU/CPU mining costs more then it brings in.   Asics are your best chance.
13093  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Cooled Miner C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: November 09, 2014, 03:44:16 PM
Thanks Yoshi and Josh for help and quick response.

@Syscooling I sent about a second pump failure in email please get back to me.
13094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer L1 - Speculation... on: November 09, 2014, 02:23:21 AM
will there be a batch 2 can we get some kind of official response from BITMAIN?

See my post on the previous page - I got an email from them saying there would not be anymore batches of Antminer L1s.   Of course this could always change but officially, at least for now they said there would not be any other batches of L1s

Why would they only have 1 batch of it, they have spend so much time and money designing and to come out with a product and just sell like for like 1 time. Thats bad...

Look at products such as C1 so far one batch.

Some I think are to test out a product on some.  I can't see a advantage of stopping L1's.   Unless they know more speed will be needed by second batch.
13095  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Invest 122$ in gawminers for 8mhs scrypt on: November 09, 2014, 02:18:33 AM
i am rephrase the question
if i am wait for the cost per mhs is going up is ok to sell it?
if i am sell now for insta btc is good to invest in site like btc jam or similar?

Cost per MH will only go down as time passes.  New technology.   Look at past price per MH you will not make money off of.

You can sell now yes.  It is not "insta" btc.  You have to find a buyer who you can trust.

Now investing in btc jam or any other investing is separate.
13096  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to mining and looking for some info! on: November 09, 2014, 02:11:41 AM
Ok - so the user profile is with the Pool that you signed up with?  Is that correct?

Thanks

It would depend on which antminer you use.  For example S3's you do enter pool data and it does not need a computer after initial setup.
13097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice needed on: November 09, 2014, 02:07:25 AM
No matter what don't invest more then your willing to lose.

A lot of us think long term it has lots potential, and will go up.   But nothing is for sure.

I highly suggest never invest all in one thing.
13098  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 336MH/s USB Miner.. Worth it? xD on: November 09, 2014, 02:02:29 AM
Hey BTCForums..

I am getting 4 USB miners from someone on this forum and first of I just wanted them as a collectors item..

But..

Would it in anyway be worth running these small miners.
You know.. For the chance of hitting a block Wink

Tell me what you think!! Smiley

~Hamuki

Really, thats worse then buying lottery. The chances for you to strike lottery is higher...

You can do math and explain it, but some people will never stop it.   They dream more then they care about ROI.

I love thumb drive miners but they have not been cost efficient for a while.
13099  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 336MH/s USB Miner.. Worth it? xD on: November 08, 2014, 10:30:53 PM
Can you even solve a block in 10 min at sub 10Ghash....

Why wouldn't u pool mine with these...

I don't but some dream they will hit a bock solo.   Even pool 4 of the block erupters is very very small no days.
13100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature Campaign? How its done? on: November 08, 2014, 02:14:32 PM
It might take hanging around for a while.  A lot have a set activity level (member , etc).  The higher you get the more choices the better it gets.
