You are a newbie with one post mate , it's not like you ahve a lot of private informations on it .
If you don't like to use the forum anymore , you simply don't connect and don't post/pm anymore , that's it . There is no option to get account deleted here
13103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: after 1 hour my bitcoin core still says unconfirmed?? on: June 18, 2015, 11:00:25 AM
As the title says. I have waited over 1 hour and still says my sent transaction unconfirmed and nothing received at the other end.

Any ideas? It's usually quicker than this when I have sent before.

If you didn't use any fees or "low low " fees it may not get confirmed too fast , and may end up coming back to you after some days if dosen't get confirmed at all .
Also maybe Bitcoin core have something wrong in displaying or if it's not sync with the network try to use https://www.blocktrail.com or Blockchain.info and if it's confirmed or not .
13104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the best escrow website? on: June 18, 2015, 10:55:34 AM
What are the best website that has escrow services?

There is few website that could do the job , however I never tested any of them . Most of my transactions are small amounts so I don't use escrow services , here you go https://escrowmybits.com , there is also http://btcrow.com/ as I'am not responsible about of those website and I can't tell you how legit they are but I heard good things about them . more infos about the escrows listed above here : http://www.reddit.com/r/BitMarket/wiki/escrow (names of the members in bitcointalk who manage the escrows are their too)
13105  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Virwox Safe? on: June 18, 2015, 10:13:01 AM
Hey guys  Smiley

I wanted to ask a question as you can see in the title of the topic. I was wondering if Virwox was safe as you all know i am from India and what i wanna use Virwox for...... Evil

I had some BTC in the past and my account was null automatically. But i tried here and there but couldn't find anything helpful, Also i don't know what is the minimum amount to withdraw money  no idea

This topic is not about any exchange. I just want some info and that is it  big grin

They are very legit and safe to use , but if you are planning to buy Bitcoins using either Paypal or Credit cards then you might want rethink about it because the fees are very high . They have some leveling system AFAIK to withraw money unlilimited i guess

13106  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk New Feature - The Hobbit Header! on: June 18, 2015, 07:05:58 AM

EDIT : nevermind , It wasen't working on preview but it really works Shocked you may wanna post that on New forum so it gets fixed in case they are using the same basic codes of Simple machines

13108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: June 17, 2015, 09:01:50 PM
can't see how it could fix somebody life , it may do that at the beggining and as some people are saying now "It's fun to take risk" also things like "It's my passion and i love it" , that passion who used to fix your life will sooner or later turns into addiction and that addiction will finally wreck and finish your life a part .

i believe someone outthere has a good life , i mean good earning because gambling .
a good life is the proof that gamble fixed their life, gamble help people grow/earn money.
or gamble burn their money for some people, although gambling may not will always fix everyone lives and may not will always wreck everyone lives.
Everything will be fine in right time, everyone has the fate of each.

Well , if gambling was fixing lifes (which is not) and helping people (which is not) and also making people to make profit the whole world would do it , but gambling websites makes sure so you get addiction and you always come back and play more and more till you lose .
Only rich people can get richer with Gambling because they have no problem on taking high risks , poor or average people most of the time greed eats & them and they wanna bet gamble more which screw them but that dosen't change the fact that there issome people who know when to stop . so I'd say right now 80% wreck life , 20% fix it .
13109  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] New Bitcoin card hardware wallet on: June 17, 2015, 06:47:50 PM
Good job mate , however can we see more pictures ? or it's looks like that on the physical card too ? I personally don't like the design that much , it could be better but dosen't matter it's a hardware wallet all it counts is the security i think .
you may want to ask LiteCoinGuy to add your wallet to his thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=899253.0

13113  Other / Politics & Society / Edward Snowden Supports Apple’s Public Stance On Privacy on: June 17, 2015, 05:33:47 PM
Edward Snowden says we should support Apple’s newly stated commitment to privacy rather than a business model driven by personal data collection, whether or not Tim Cook is being genuine. Snowden spoke over video conference during the Challenge.rs conference in Barcelona today.

more infos can here : http://techcrunch.com/2015/06/17/but-bring-the-hammer-if-it-betrays-us/

I'am really wondering though ,even if he is on Russia which is basically an ennemy the United States of America, how Snowden is still alive after all he done ? Leaking documents from NSA and stuff  Undecided It's not that I want him to die of course, I even support what he is doing but just wondering .
13114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Akimbo to BTC on: June 17, 2015, 03:34:16 PM
Yes it https://akimbocard.com/ is their site. I've read that there are a lot of problems buying btc with credit cads. I would prefer to transfer money from my akimbo account to the sellers one.

That would be hard ? I'am not sure if Akimbo have Card to card functionality so you send to users money , even if it does that would be hard because most of people use Neteller as credit card , you can check the currency exchange section on the marketplace here
you can try Bit-x , they accept fiat deposit methods (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro (USD and EUR) - At the moment allowed for verified users only. Limits: 5000 USD per day. PAUSED (will resume in the near future) )

13115  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Legal? on: June 17, 2015, 03:30:13 PM
It's always nice to know that on the Unregulated Bitcoin area  Undecided Stupid country
I didn't know that Russia Restricted Bitcoin , that's kinda shitty . Also I'am bad at geography but isn't that orange map under Russia for China ?
China have shitload of Mining farms & Exchange how it's Restricted there ? I'am the only one who find this dosen't make sense
No stupid country in the world, they only wait bitcoin give trust as a payment system.

Yeah I meant my country , sorry I miss-wrote what I wanted to say .
Actually my country is stupid , what do you call a country where no one use Credit & Debit cards (They use only cards to withraw money from ATM) , what do you call a country that don't know what online shopping is and laugh at your face when you mention those things ?  Roll Eyes

Quote
I argue that Cryptocurrencies function as distinct religious beliefs, which affect ego permeability by playing into our natural tendencies to perceive attributes of money and value as inherently magic and spiritual.

Source: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/bitcoin-religion-filip-martinka-

Do you think that cryptocurrencies are religions?

I don't think that Digital currancies are religions at all , I believe in bitcoin and that it has potentional and will do a huge success on the world probably & I don't think that "religion" is the first thing that comes in mind when you see the relation between a user and something . I believe in other things that will be succesfull that dosen't make them my religion or anything if you ask me
For me (and it's just my personal opinion) Religion is what is made by God and prophets (Muslims, Christians , Jewish) those are Religious people anything else isn't . (Including Yoga , budha etc..which is made by humain)
13118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin wallet lifetime ? on: June 17, 2015, 01:57:16 PM
hello,

I like to know where I can create a secure bitcoin wallet where I can keep my bitcoins for years, when I see websites that offer bitcoin wallet, I fear that one day the site no longer exists, and I lose all my bitcoins.

thanks.

If you want something for Lifetime then it's easy , piece of cake . Hardware wallet are good but you can screw up and lose it or in case of touching it water .
So you have some other posibilities , one of them is Electrum/Multibit HD (Offline wallets) which both of them use "Seed words" now , You can recover your wallet and BTC in case of a computer failure using just those words , so all you need here is a "good memory" or you write them down .
second posibility and choice you have is Paper wallet , you print it, put it in a safe or whatever and you are good.
13119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Akimbo to BTC on: June 17, 2015, 01:51:13 PM
Hello. I'm new to bitcoins. I have some money on my akimbo. Can I buy btc for them?
I think this is rather fast method to trade

What is Akimbo? I googled and I found this : https://akimbocard.com/ , Is it their official website ? If yes then yes you can and it's very simple . Akimbo is a Credit card and there is some services that allow buying Bitcoins using Credit Cards like : Bit-x.com & Virwox .
but you should know that Virwox take some huge fees as I've been told.
and here is a full list of website (but you still should be careful) of website that sell BTC using CC : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_To_Buy_Bitcoins_With_Your_Credit_Card
