13141  Economy / Gambling / Re: betcoin.tm is a shady operating site on: February 05, 2016, 11:09:58 AM
They are not just shady, they are extremely shady, annoying and full of issues:
I got a bonus rolledover and ended with 0,6 BTC but got just 0,06 of it... They are a casino I would suggest everyone to stay far away from.

Wait, what? I won 1.5 bitcoins on their site, by wagering less than 0.02 (at least that is what stated on my account details after that run) and they paid me on what I'm due, sad thing is after 21 hours of continuous follow-ups and questioning the live support on what is happening.

I used the site for many promotions like referral and such, things were good and nice. I have no reason to think why they will scam or be shady. Owner is a donator here, so seriously trusted.

TF has a VIP tag yet he scammed A LOT of btc. I don't think fancy tags like those can dictate your trustworthiness in this forum. Roll Eyes

Also experienced delayed grants, but not cashback but rather withdrawals. It took nearly 24 hours before the payment got into my wallet, and their live chat support seemed to be offline most times. They are paying, just delayed due to their manual checking of their system (I think?). :/
13143  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetBTC - Bitcoin Sports Betting | More Sports | Instant Payments | Like Betfair on: February 05, 2016, 02:58:13 AM
Just tried their withdrawal earlier as a part of my signature campaign payment. I was amazed on how everything work instantly! Also tried to talk to their customer support, and the dude is pretty much polite and responsive to any of my queries. However, I find that the 3-hour restriction on the next withdrawal is not that appealing. Nevertheless, it is a good experience overall. Smiley
13144  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetCoin.TM Bitcoin Casino | Poker | Slots | Sports | Live Dealers | And More! on: February 05, 2016, 02:56:35 AM
Sorry for spamming your circle game with empty bets. Just trying the odds on different circles and their respective multipliers (and finding some strategy to win this thing again, lol). My withdrawal went pretty smooth earlier, even with 0 confirmations on different block chain parser. Cool!
13145  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: February 04, 2016, 05:14:53 PM
Im saving yes. Not for long term but when I sees enough profit, Im selling it.

The $1000 rally or more than that are too long to happen and it is a slow process. Rather than waiting for it, I will make a profit little by little every rally. Much more earnings than waiting for $1000 for a long time.

Agreed. You already saved time, you also get profits. A win-win situation. Which makes me wonder why would everyone wait for something that seems too far-fetched to get a big profit when they can earn little by little and earn bigger? Smiley
13146  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: February 04, 2016, 05:11:30 PM
I have found that in life, no matter the market, a strong practice of dollar cost averaging will ride you well through the good and the hard times. Bitcoin is no different.

It has done me good over these rough months. Just followed what almost everyone is saying: buy low sell high. Honestly, I already sold some in the past and bought back in with cheaper prices, thus making my stack bigger. Smiley
13147  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 04, 2016, 05:09:05 PM
Diversity is the key! Lol, seriously I think housing and lands are the best investment long-term as these two tend to appreciate value over time as the need for space and place to live in arises. Gold and bitcoin are speculative assets; no assurances that they will work for you or your investment.
13148  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: February 04, 2016, 05:05:45 PM
Does someone has any suggestions how to make 17 BTC with 7 BTC starting capital in short period of time?

Hmm, the only thing I see plausible in this thing is gambling, nothing more. Already made 1.5 btc out of 0.165 btc a few weeks back in a matter of 20 mins. (see my posts, the pic is there somewhere. Can't do that now because I'm on mobile.) or, you could take the suggestion above this post. It's a lot easier but takes longer time Grin
13149  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you consider to be a long term investment. on: February 04, 2016, 05:01:15 PM
Serious long-term investment for me would be housing and hectares of land (at least here in my country.) The scene has been booming recently with real estate developers buying lands near commercialized areas. As for bitcoin, I'm planning to hold to them for the next 5-8 years max. It's been doing good for me, even with the recent price drops. Smiley
13150  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm dumping my bitcoins so you should on: February 04, 2016, 04:55:33 PM
Already been in this sentiment for quite some time now, and it doesn't do me anything good tbh. Besides, the average price I bought the coins I have right now is waaaay lower than what the price is or will be in the following days. Smiley
13151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming industry is moving to bitcoin, Wargames the first on: February 04, 2016, 04:46:26 PM
Yeah Bitcoin!

I hope later on, steam will accept bitcoin payments tho Cheesy , So that i doesn't have to buy wallets on the internet

That would be very helpful! Can't wait to have this thing implemented in the steam store! Though I am already benefiting on buying discounted steam game with the aid of bitcoin. Smiley
13152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hollywood To Accept Bitcoin In Movies on: February 04, 2016, 04:44:11 PM
It's definitely a good thing but I wonder what it will do with the average joe when they see Bitcoin is being used as currency in the movie that they watch. I think 99% of them will simply ignore it and look further. Only geeks and other tech people will notice the Bitcoin usage in the movie.
That's why I said a movie about bitcoin is the best thing for us. For example a movie that shows some people became rich.

I think the movie should be open-sided and not just biased on one viewpoint for bitcoin to appeal to the masses. If people would only see the good things without even knowing what's bad in it, then the delusion of get-rich-quick might be there and might leave plenty of people broken because of carelessly throwing money at something that they only watched in the movies.
13153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 04, 2016, 04:30:03 PM
The best method to grow your bitcoins is to make a gambling site ( if you have enough bitcoins , to grow more ) and then just relax and see the profit coming your way. Other than that you can try gambling yourself on other sites, but always risky.

Before you can create a successful gambling website, first you need to spend loads of money for devs, advertising and other necessities for your website to be appealing. Not for the typical people, I guess.
13154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees over the last 2 years on: February 04, 2016, 08:59:55 AM
Current fees are effectively pittance, I'm always happy to pay 3 or 4 times the average fee to ensure my transactions are confirmed in the next block.

They may be pittance if you are sending considerable amounts of money but if you need to do microtransactions daily for whatever reason it will add up very quickly.

Yep, for the likes of people who do microtransactions every day and do not want to delay it, those fees were already substantial. Adding it (the fees) up is already significant to others (like me, lol).
13155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: February 04, 2016, 08:53:29 AM
staying would let you earn some money if the price grows

Yes, the potential is quite big if you want to earn money. For the past year, bitcoin served as a extra money-maker for me. Though it is not that much, still I can somehow depend on it whenever the need for extra expenses arises.
13156  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: February 03, 2016, 04:01:39 PM
Two things: I buy bitcoins mainly when I have some spare cash and when the price is stagnant and I consider it as a low entry point. Oftentimes I don't; just observing the market and seeing what would the charts paint next in a couple of days or weeks.
13157  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: February 03, 2016, 03:56:19 PM
As you see, the Bitcoin is crashing and trying to break a new low until it stop.
But I won't sell any Bitcoin at this time, I believe it will rise again as it always do. Smiley

Seeing that the halving is nearing, you are partly correct. Also it is only good if you did not bought above the $400 range (which I assume you did not.) For those who bought during those rallies, the only hope I can see is when the halving comes to play. Wink
13158  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: February 03, 2016, 03:49:52 PM
Yes, but not as bitcoins though, sadly. I recently converted half a bitcoin to buy a new phone that I had been aiming to get for myself for months. I just thought that I had to reward myself with something using bitcoins. Also used them to buy discounted steam games. Cheesy
13159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $55 Million for Blockstream to build out Bitcoin! on: February 03, 2016, 03:42:42 PM
Congratz for Blockstream and the Core Devs.
http://www.coindesk.com/blockstream-55-million-series-a/

Quote
Blockstream has raised $55m in Series A funding to continue its work expanding the bitcoin code base for commercial use.

With the news, Blockstream's total funding rises to $76m over two investment rounds. To date, the company's signature technology has been its sidechains offering, currently in testing, which enables the creation of blockchains that can validate data from, and transfer assets to, other blockchains.

I'm pretty sure the big block/Classic supporters will not like this news.

Great news! Until someone in the opposing faction expresses distrust or some angst against the act of Core devs, this is great news! Also, $55 mil is no joke for investing in a tech which is on its infancy. A daring and bold move, I must say.
13160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Europe wants end to anonymous Bitcoin transactions on: February 03, 2016, 12:47:44 PM
That should be easy then, as bitcoin is not anonymous anyway: http://www.bitcoinisnotanonymous.com/

What is anonymous, is cash. I wonder if EU is also planning to ban cash?

Pseudo, they forgot to append pseudo in the term anonymous to describe bitcoin. Also, more UNLIKELY help to terrorism came from cash/fiat, and I wonder how they are not seeing this one and tend to look at bitcoins instead. :/
