Why would you sell? Now would be the time you should be buying bitcoin and ride the wave all the way to the bottom. That way when everything calms down you'll have a nice return within a couple of days/weeks.

That's right. Most of the time people see the bitcoin decreasing in value as a negative thing. I don't see it that way at all. People tend to panic so quickly that they sell everything.
It's best to hold for now and buy if you are able to.

If you are too scared to trade wait and hold is the best option for you. I actively trade so I can make more money, that makes more coin accumulation at the very end. everybody have different strategies, but if you don't want to lose coins you might hold them and not care the price at all.

If you sell at the low price you take the loss. If it then dropped further you could the buy and recoup some of that loss but if it then rises it is going to cost you more.
