I hope that was not true,i little afraid Cheesy
Afraid of what exactly? Are you afraid of every knife because it is potentially killing tool?
And even if 'terrorists' have bitcoin stash so what? Let's ban dollars, euro and gold because terrorists use them for buying weapons and financing their operations too!

Yes.  I mean, I personally don't condone the terrorists' actions but there's nothing wring in using as a tool for moving funds.
13162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - one of the Terrorists Funding Sources on: November 17, 2015, 02:59:59 PM
Why are most of you in denial that BTC/crypto is one, if not, the most useful tool for terrorists, money launderers, and black market participants for moving funds?

It's there to leverage the power from the imperialists back to the people...  Sadly in this case, terrorists.  This is what Amir Taaki was saying when he created Dark Wallet.  He doesn't deny that the purpose of Dark Wallet + BTC was that it could be used for illegal means.  I think he even encourages it.
There is always a good and bad side. In this case terrorist take  an advantage on bitcoin and abused it.

Abuse?  It's what exactly Bitcoin is for.
13163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - one of the Terrorists Funding Sources on: November 17, 2015, 02:59:11 PM
Bitcoin is not the source of funding, it is one of the means of funding..

There are people that fund them and they use bitcoin. It is not bitcoin that funds them.

Yup.  Exactly.  People should see it more in this context.

13165  Economy / Speculation / Re: What moves bitcoin price? on: November 17, 2015, 01:08:26 PM
For stock exchanges, situations like what happened in Paris with the terrorism attack, means changes in the prices of the stocks, but due to bitcoin is kind of different, for you, what do you have to be in mind when you speculate about the price? I mean, what type of news or kind of doings, you have to keep in your mind to get winner in the bitcoin transactions?

Trading is the same, whether it's stocks, commodities, currencies.. etc.  There's buyers and sellers, pumpers and dumpers, bulls and bears, etc, etc...  The rest is mostly market noise.

You of all people should know this.
13166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - one of the Terrorists Funding Sources on: November 17, 2015, 01:04:18 PM
unless there was a public key found along side them fake and unburnt passports.. the media is only guessing.

But I doubt these guys are.

"Hacktivists claim ISIS terrorists linked to Paris attacks had bitcoin funding":  http://www.networkworld.com/article/3005308/security/hacktivists-claim-isis-terrorists-linked-to-paris-attacks-had-bitcoin-funding.html

From the article:  "Ghost Security Group confirmed to NewsBTC that ISIS is "extensively using bitcoin for funding their operations" and that the group has "managed to uncover several bitcoin addresses used by them." Furthermore, bitcoin is "their prime form of cryptocurrency."

I point all people in here at this altcoin sub.  I'm sure they'll love what they see.

Edit:  And what 'toxic' community?  Everything is fine.
13168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoinist: Litecoin Halving: Impact on Exchange Rate, Mining Profitability on: November 17, 2015, 04:41:48 AM
BTCe is the best place to buy LTC.  More volume, tighter spreads.
13169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats happend with ripple? on: November 17, 2015, 03:13:48 AM
They were always a scam, stick with decentralization.

What made them a scam?  Just wondering...

Oh your new here..

use keywords "Ripple + Scam"

Yup I'm new.  What made them a scam?  Because all I see are mostly mudslinging.

13171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas M. Antonopoulos, author of "Mastering Bitcoin", is doing an AMA on: November 16, 2015, 04:21:29 AM
It's unfortunate that the more you make people be able to be free, the better tools that criminals will have to get funded. Of course cash is still the number one, but once the goverment retires cash in the future, im afraid something like Bitcoin will be the #1 used tool by then.

Good.  That would leverage the power back to the people.  Now, band together and figure out how to use the technology that would be beneficial for you according to your uses.
13172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neucoin.... did anyone get the free coins? on: November 16, 2015, 02:28:15 AM
The fight to be the most used blockchain is a long hard siege.  I can't see how they could achieve that with Neucoin's strategy.  Simplicity and practicality is good.  But you have to offer much more.
13173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum about to pull a Cloak? on: November 16, 2015, 02:22:00 AM
It will be 15 Nov soon but ETH has not risen much like CLOAK. If your prediction is true, ETH would have gone up to 0.01 BTC by now.

It could still turn out like Paycoin Cheesy

Don't be so optimistic, I dont trust the ETH developers the least.

This is far from Paycoin.  Come on.  Ethereum has more vision than most altcoins out there.  Sure some shenanigans went on with the presale, the hurried release, the initial pump and dump when it got listed in the exchanges...  But seeing their devcon, its blockchain still has a good future ahead.

yes and its one of the many reasons i have faith in litecoin  Kiss

Well LTC is fine as is.  But on the other hand, it doesn't have much to go to as is.
13175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Proof of Burn cannot work cleanly in practice on: November 16, 2015, 02:14:53 AM
Counterparty was a good Proof of Burn experiment.  But so far nadda.
13176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you be more likely to buy with an altcoin if you could get a discount? on: November 16, 2015, 02:11:40 AM
No to all.  Unless the altcoin has good volume making it easy to do a market sell.  Else, you get trapped.
13177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: November 16, 2015, 02:04:59 AM
What happened to the volume?  The bots are gone...?

Edit:  I think it would be a good idea for Stellar to tie up with a blockchain that has a future.  After Devcon, I think Ethereum has a good future ahead.  Stellar's gateway system could complement Ethereum and vice versa.
13178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !WARNING - Doesn't Look Good for Litecoin - Sub $2.50 within a week - WARNING! on: November 15, 2015, 12:58:32 AM
Sub 2.90?  It's 3.15 at BTCe...
13179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: November 15, 2015, 12:51:34 AM
How's possible Stellar to be 7th according to coinmarketcap.com but having about $2000 (24hrs) volume only???

Price * No. of coins total in circulation.
13180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the best altcoin exchange POLL on: November 14, 2015, 07:31:59 AM
ExchangeD.I2P (sounds interesting)

Ya we have been running for about 6 months, anonymous darknet exchange, no AML ect, 100% privacy.
Ive been active on bitcointalk for over a year, when regulators have been cracking down, and I decided it was time for an exchange that doesn't suck
Active in the anoncoin community and been vouched for by the devs of Anoncoin and Dogecoindark.

Its a great service for privacycoin traders that think requiring an ID to trade is bullshit.

like how Craptsy is omitted from the poll  Grin

Ya, lol nobody is even suggesting...

ExchangeD.I2P (sounds interesting)

Polo ... LoL ... gonna need to see your ID if you want to buy these anon coins son.
Sucking regulators dick since...

Interesting.  How's the volume?

Also tbh, I'd prefer a decentralized exchange accessed via Tor/I2P.  We've seen exchanges run away with people's money on the regular internet.  Not that I'm saying you're not trustworthy or anything...  But you know what I mean.  It would be easier for people to run away in the darknet.
