13162  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: February 28, 2015, 04:54:27 PM
Why all faucets pays to their website instead of Wallets of users directly Sad It would be nice if there is an open source faucet just like freebitco.in I guess

GreenAddress is safe and easy!

Sorry for the laste answer and thank u for replying
Wondering what's that BIP38 tho , is it some kinda of encryption ? I guess i've seen it on Paper wallets also

Quote from: github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0038.mediawiki#abstract
A method is proposed for encrypting and encoding a passphrase-protected Bitcoin private key record in the form of a 58-character Base58Check-encoded printable string. Encrypted private key records are intended for use on paper wallets and physical Bitcoins. Each record string contains all the information needed to reconstitute the private key except for a passphrase, and the methodology uses salting and scrypt to resist brute-force attacks.

See : https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0038.mediawiki(recommended) and https://bitcoinpaperwallet.com/bip38-password-encrypted-wallets/ .

I have never heard of it either.  I would go with a more well known wallet.

I've never heard of it either , but since it was on Bitcoin.org , I'am asking about it to see if it's that safe or not . Grin

This is the official forum thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521988.0   with all the information.

I get it now i guess , thanks for the links , both of you (Muhammed & reds0ow) Smiley

I didn't understand your answer I guess , or you didn't got my question
I want to make a faucet on my website , but FaucetBox makes people who use my faucet to signup on their website , what I want to do on my faucet is make people able to withraw their money directly to BTC Adresses instead of FaucetBox account first then BTC addy

You didn't ask your question correctly. So you are a publisher(faucet owner). See below.

Then, you shouldn't use FaucetBox or any other micro-payment processor(such as Paytoshi, microwallet etc...). You should use Blockchain.info/Blocktrail.com API or install Bitcoin-core and connect your faucet to Bitcoind.

Humm this dosen't look a piece of cake to be honest , not even sure what Bitcoind is .
Freebitco.in and btc-flow for example ? are they using what you just mentioned ? because you can withraw directly
13166  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - free API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: February 14, 2015, 10:04:04 AM
It's pretty nice , but the only problem is that people should have to make an account on FaucetBox.com instead of of receiving the Bitcoins directly and that sucks to be honest , any way to change that ?

Faucetbox is a micro payment processor mainly built for faucets. You will have to tell the faucet you are using not to use any payment processor and to pay directly and you don't have to create an account for earning coin, its only for publishers, for earning an account-like will be created with your address as username.

If this isn't what you asked, clarify your question. Smiley

Anyone here (trusted members) got paid ?
We all know that those ponzi schemes are a scam and will never pay you , they are just looking to make a quick buck . just some people are smarter then others and make it looks real ...

Our previous rounds correspond to TXID's. All 55BTC can be found on the blockchain

I don't think that few Bitcoins rolling on the Blockchain is good enough as a proof , you could simply send them to one of your adresses .
Since you are advertising here , people who got paid (if there is of course) should post here .
