A heart breaking ending for the Swedish team.

Totally, the feeling of frustration for the Swedes must have been horrible, in a few minutes they thought they could take the game again to extra time where they had already qualified and in a very short time it all ends with Spain's goal.

You didn't predict today's game but you are predicting "England" for tomorrow's game  Wink

Hehe, I'm still thinking, it's not really my official prediction

Same. I'll be rooting for England in tomorrow's game, hoping for a Spain vs. England final showdown.

I am almost neutral now hehe, to tell you the truth I am divided
Both teams deserve to be in the final, so I think I might not even bet and just watch
England do look a bit stronger than Australia, but as Australia are playing at home, it might help their willpower a lot

Take a look, 2 wins for each one and 1 draw

Quote
With enough optimizations, a decent gaming PC can do a brute-force search through 2^32 wallet combinations in less than a day.

I'm glad I didn't make any predictions for the semi final and that I didn't actually place any bet  Cheesy, because I was going to pick Sweden to qualify, without a doubt.

I didn't believe that Spain could beat Sweden, especially after Sweden passed USA and Colombia in the difficult way they did, usually teams get stronger during the competition when they have these difficulties
Amazing how in less than 5 minutes the situation changed. The lack of focus of a team that is winning was remarkable, as well as the determination of Spain not to give up
For those who thought that women's soccer was not exciting, it was very nice to see a game like this in the middle of a World Cup semi-final.

It looks like it will be Spain v England in the final
1325  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: [Journal] Bitcoin pelo mundo on: August 15, 2023, 11:49:16 AM

1326  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Candidato pró-BTC ganha eleições parciais na Argentina on: August 14, 2023, 08:03:29 PM

Looks like PSG will get 70-80m without bonuses and 120m euros for Neimer including bonuses and it will be the biggest sale for PSG.
https://twitter.com/AndiOnrubia/status/1690728116233146369

Also Neymar himself should get 160 million for two years at Al-Hilal. https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Transferts-neymar-d-accord-avec-al-hilal/1413412
I guess this is the best option for Neymar right now. He is no longer in PSG's core, the owners are clearly not happy with him and besides Neymar himself is plagued by injuries, so it would probably be a great deal for everyone.

I was quite surprised that in the end Neymar will go to Al-Hilal. I just read a news in the local newspaper in my country, and it seems that it is now confirmed, it is just a matter of a few hours to be announced.
And I had read just yesterday that it was almost all right for a return to Barcelona

I think it's a very good choice financially, but a very bad one to continue playing soccer at the highest level and competing in the best championships in the world.

A strange argumentation, since, firstly, Neymar has been at PSG for many seasons and everyone is tired of his instability and he has long lost the image of a strong player (although when he is in shape, he is undoubtedly a strong player). Messi was long past his peak and a move to PSG dispelled the myth that he would be good for any team. Secondly, being the only star in PSG (in Ligue 1) even sounds ridiculous when other competitors shine in the Premier League and the Champions League (Haaland).

And what would be the reason for Mbapeé now agreeing to remain at PSG?
It's quite a coincidence that he accepted to renwe the contract as soon as they announced that Neymar would not be part of the club this season.

Neymar has a lot of problems off the field (in his personal life) and that affects him and others around him
Besides possible comparisons of salary or benefits within the club, I still believe that Neymar leaving the club was the factor for Mbapeé to accept to stay

1330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 13, 2023, 01:34:21 PM
Breaking news:
Kylian Mbappe has opened the door to extension.
According to French media, Kylian Mbappe has now agreed to extend his contract at PSG. The French international star Kylian Mbappe has changed his mind about a contract extension due to the upcoming departure of Neymar. Kylian Mbappe's contract will expire in 2024, but he has refused to extend it and is trying to move towards Real Madrid. But now he has changed his mind and wants to stay at PSG. On the other hand, PSG has signed 26-year-old Osman Dembele for €50 million from Barcelona. So maybe these were the two reasons that changed Kylian Mbappe's mind about staying in Paris.

As I said 3 days ago here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1877785.msg62675956#msg62675956
I figured that if Neymar left PSG, Mbappé could stay, since he will be the star of the team again without having to share attention as it was with Messi-Neymar

For those who were very worried that PSG would be weak for this season, the situation already changes a lot if they keep Mbapeé with Dembele who has arrived now
But even so, the player should go to Real Madrid in the future, to win more titles, since he has shown interest, and it may be that it was agreed with PSG to renew the contract, so that in the future Real Madrid will have to pay PSG a good amount, unlike what it would be if the contract expired in 2024
1331  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: PYUSD do Paypal ameaçará a dominância das atuais Stablecoins? on: August 13, 2023, 12:51:08 PM

1332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: August 12, 2023, 08:26:52 PM
It looks like your first bet is already failing:

Braga 1-2 Famalicão

A curious thing about the Portuguese championship, is that in the first third of the season, there are normally always 3 or 4 teams, outside the top 4, which usually creates difficulties for all its opponents.

Hehe not yet  Cheesy
I haven't started betting on the Portuguese championship 23/24 yet
As I've been busy studying and betting more on the Brazilian championship/libertadores/sudamericana and the women's world cup, I preferred not to bet yet and I've already given luck otherwise I would lose, since I would bet on Braga's victory with the multiple

I believe I can enter the bets in the second or third round

Porto and Benfica I believe they will start with a victory

So far, 9 rights guesses and 3 wrong  Cheesy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5455617.msg62665412#msg62665412

I managed to get the qualifiers right, which were England, Australia and Spain, but I missed the Japan vs Sweden match in which I thought Japan could win because they were doing a great campaign, but Sweden is very strong, eliminated the USA and now Japan
A final between Sweden and England is very likely, but I will still analyze the matches better to see if these will be my bets

It's great to see Australia who is hosting the championship, reaching the semi-final, it helps to fill the stadiums and popularize soccer

1335  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: PYUSD do Paypal ameaçará a dominância das atuais Stablecoins? on: August 12, 2023, 12:24:52 PM

1336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Conmebol Libertadores 2023 - Prediction and Discussion Thread on: August 11, 2023, 09:31:54 PM
Are you rooting against my Internacional?
...
At least Internacional will have the support of 50,000 fans to boost it in this conquest, but I think that this will not be enough considering that it is in the worst sequence of the season with 7 consecutive games without winning (three defeats and four draws).
...

Hehe I'm sorry alegotardo
I was rooting for Inter to qualify of course, but precisely because of the bad sequence of play that was doing, I doubted a little and believed that River Plate would get at least a draw playing in Beira Rio, but congratulations to Inter, got a good classification and a tough one

Well in retrospect, here the teams that can stop the Brazilians will always be the Argentines for me, because they have a high level, in the case of River well, things clearly did not happen, but Boca remains here and I think everyone is here. In the thread we are waiting for what is going to unfold with them, how Cavani will look, how Boca will act, there are many things that we are waiting for.

The Libertadores was left with:
3 Brazilians, 2 Argentines, 1 Bolivian, 1 Paraguayan and 1 Colombian

The argentinians will always be hard to brazilians hahaha, unfortunately for them, only 1 team will survive to the semi-finals since the match will be Arg x Arg = Boca x Racing.
Nice matches to watch

I'll do my predictions in a few days, and I'm believing Palmeiras can win Libertadores again, at least is the strongest team so far in the competition

0% para rendimentos de até R$ 6 mil ao ano;
15% para rendimentos entre R$ 6 mil e R$ 50 mil no ano;

1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: August 11, 2023, 01:15:23 PM
Every week, I will bring the stats of at least one game.
What other data do you think could be interesting to present?

I think it looks great the way you did it, all the most interesting data is in the table. One matche per round seems to me great for you to display the complete statistics
It's very well organized and easy to visualize all stats

I really hope this doesn't become a trend this season.

Ah, got it. I hope it doesn't become a trend either, it's not good to watch a match with so many interruptions.

This weekend, the championship begins. Follow the games of the first round. What are your guesses?

I think I'll do the same as last season, to place multiple bets on top 4: Benfica, Porto, Sporting and Braga

Guys, let's do some prediction here, what are your guesses about top 5 this season?
1340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League - Liga Portugal 2023/24 on: August 10, 2023, 09:31:16 PM
So stay tuned to the topic, I'm preparing some interesting things.
Not only in the graphical aspect, but in the information presented.  Wink

Nice to know that, I imagine it will be beaultiful tables  Grin

If I had posted to answer this question before the game started I wouldn't hesitate to say that the port would win...

That was my initial thought too, Porto usually do well when they play against Benfica
But I analyzed it better and thought that Benfica had full conditions to win the game, and I got it right hehehe.
It was a good start for Benfica and a good start for my bets  Cheesy

I watched the match, and caught my attention the high number of cards during the game, there were 12 yellow cards and 1 red card with the total of 40 fouls
I don't know if it was due to the referee preferring to conduct the game that way or if it could be a trend for the Portuguese championship to punish fouls more
