1322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone use Virwox??? on: November 22, 2013, 10:50:45 PM
Hi,

Do not use VirWox! I was there for a time too and after a few weeks they closed my account because of "money laundring" -have done transactions with one amount over 1 BTC (that time ca. 500 USD)- and they call it money laundring  Huh

And the fees of them are for most of the payment options very high: Up to 35% for some payment methods there (You have to transfer to SLL first).

I can only say you that it would be better for you and your BTC to withdraw the amount you have on you account (maybe via PP or Wire transfer), if you do not want to have the same trouble as I had.

You can use for example www.bitstamp.net or our business www.BTC-Exchange.info (good reviews on bitcointalk) for buying BTC cheap, anonymous and secure. We offer the following payment methods: PaySafeCard, Ukash, International bank transfer (only 3% fees) and Cash by Mail.

If there are any questions, feel free to contact me or our 24/7 costumer support with 6 operators who will answer within minutes after receiving an order or a support request.

Cheers
Bitcoiner222

Thanks Smiley  My problem is, when I decide to buy some, I want it now! lol. I don't want to wait several days, you know.
1323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone use Virwox??? on: November 22, 2013, 10:48:54 PM
Yes, the fees are terrible; but compared to LBC... it's a deal! I stopped using Coinbase, so when BTCquick doesn't have any (like now), what other choice do I have Sad
1324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone use Virwox??? on: November 22, 2013, 02:45:32 AM
Anyone?

Or does everyone else have better means to obtain coins?
1325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Anyone use Virwox??? on: November 22, 2013, 12:20:16 AM
Okay... so I'm a semi-satisfied customer of Virwox for 118 days now.

I won't complain of the fact that my account level is still only at a level 2 because I switched payment methods... or how I have to email support for them to grant my withdrawal request sooner than the 48 hours for new accounts -

Something strange just happened and I don't know what to expect.... after purchasing SLL and converting to BTC, I got the 48 hour wait message again. As usual, I email support. I hit refresh, and I get this error message (red text), telling me that the market changed and it wasn't in my favor. Okay, price of BTC went up 1 USD from the time I placed my order and clicking submit; hooptee do. Anyways, I'm checking my transaction history and it says Assigned Error 500. No biggie except that there's no BTC in account!

Has this ever happened to any of you?

It's happening quite often. Just search the forum and read all the complaints!

BetcoinSports,

When are you guys launching the new interface?

Lucky Chris we are hoping for a target beta day during the second week of December and will certainly invite you to the private beta.  We are working very hard on it.

Woot! I'm excited - can't wait Smiley

1329  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase withdrawal delays thread on: November 20, 2013, 03:50:58 AM
I have an ACH withdrawal from last Wednesday still showing pending (while at the same time telling me on the website it would be in my account last friday ... still). I am not happy, it was 39btc for $15,000(ish). Of course the bitterly ironic thing is btc skiyrocketing, so it isn't like they lost any money if they waited on selling the damned things.

We need a reliable and transparent alternative.

Amen! Which is why I refuse to use them any longer. My last withdrawal, which was only 20 BTC, took over a week! I'm sure it was to gain from the price spike.. but when I've withdrawn 30+ before and it took considerably less time... well, one starts to wonder.

Ironically this makes me feel a little better that i am not the only one. It makes me cringe to think about it now, but I have bought and sold over 800btc over the past few month on Coinbase and only ran into trouble once. This last transaction is a lot of money for me - support is unresponsive and no phone number! Grrrr.

Sounds like I'll get it ... eventually.

Unless they decide to bail with everyone's bitcoins! But I don't see that happening Smiley Fingers crossed.

What's really going to piss you off is when you put in an order to buy some coins, they place hold on funds in your account, then cancel it due to "high risk." This usually happens when prices are increasing quickly. But don't take my word... just read the many posts about this. They've done it to me many of times.

1331  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btcQuick.com Feedback Thread on: November 20, 2013, 01:15:51 AM
It's been nearly two weeks since I ordered and my private key is still not funded - it has been "in queue to be funded" for 13 days.

I've tried calling, and left a message on the voicemail service. I've submitted two tickets on the site over the past two weeks, and today I sent a support e-mail.

So far, I've not gotten any reply.

My order number is 21047.

If there is some issue, I am trying to be understanding, but if someone had your money for two weeks and still had not delivered, I'm sure you would be a little antsy too. I really have enjoyed the service thusfar, and would like to be able to continue to do so.

This has happened to me several times... but still my preferred way to get coins. I'm gotten a hold of them via phone a couple of times, but have found Twitter to be the most effective way to get a quick response.

Before requesting to lock this thread...

If anyone's interested - I sold all 30 in sets of 5 on eBay (and I miss them already Sad

I accepted a lowball offer on the first sale, but was able to get 119USD for the remaining sets.

LESSON LEARNED: I won't be using eBay anymore. They're charging me $45!!!! What crust.

I really like you guys a lot. How long does it normally take to receive a payout?

Usually it doesn't take long. Depending on how much, they may review it, but it's pretty quick.

i would buy 1000 of them for that price

dont be silly

if you have some erupters to unload i will buy them
pm me a fair price (below last bulk selling price point of course)

Thanks for interest but they're selling hot on eBay. I have them listed for 119 after getting a few low offers... But the last one I sold for that price.

Do yourself a favor and lock the thread before it gets out of hand, you sold them the way it was recommended and, not only mined with them, but made ROI on investment by reselling them after so good job.

Will do,... I'll find out how I do that when I get on my PC.

I want to sell my lot for a fair price, but what might that be nowadays? Obviously I won't get my investment back, but I see them for sale ranging anywhere from .06 to .15.

Try putting higher price first, people are buying them cause btc price rise pretty much ..

That's what I did Smiley I sold 1 set of 5, I had it listed for $99, got a couple of low ball offers. So yesterday I raised price to $119, got an offer for $100, which I happily accepted. I just wish Paypal didn't hold the funds for 21 days, that part sucks Sad

Its dangerous selling on ebay and using paypal.....

Wtf? I already sold half of them! I know doing BTC transactions with PayPal is dangerous, but this is an actual product.
