So I just burned my first block of 16.04 Slim's

Net Burnt Coins: 16.03
Effective Burnt Coins: 16.029714
Decayed Burnt Coins: 0.000318

I say I got lucky on that one.

The price is really good though if you have coins to sell.

too high for a botnetcoin, not hating but, is just the true

it will fall hard for sure at some point, because of this

I agree. i am just taking profits though whenever and where ever I can.

THERE'S NO BURNED OR [NOT|UN]BURNED COINS

  • Slimcoin is only ONE coin. You burn coins to mine more coins, not to create another type of coin.
  • Burnt coins are gone forever. Stat!
  • Stop confusing shit! You can mine coins with either PoW or PoB... with PoW you spend electricity to find coins. With PoB you spend coins to find coins. Plain simple.

Let me rephrase my question.

I have coins in my Balance (I have not tried to burn). Can I sell these on the exchange in its current form?

You need to cook it first, cant serve raw coins

Thanks primer.

I was hoping that was not the case but didn't want to risk losing coins in a transfer to an exchange.

@C&C

I know you guys are busy but here is a "cpu only" coin who's price is really high. The coin is interesting concept but really hard to mine without a botnet or farm. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=613213.0

I have read all 19 pages and haveing sync issues also with windows 7 qt.

Here are my nodes:
addnode=76.127.202.17
addnode=96.237.174.192
addnode=107.181.250.216
addnode=107.181.250.217

Should the config file be labeled: slimcoin or SLIMCoin or somethng else?

I had the same conf and same problem.... cannot sync, still waiting, :-(.

I named the config file 1st to slimcoin.conf no connection. Then tried SLIMCoin.conf co connection. Changed back to slimcoin.conf, boom connected. Have no idea why it didn't work the first time.

I left the nodes the same.

Maybe because I only have 10,000 kh/s on it.

I am using the port:14316

I have a R9 280x, 270x and 270 in one rig. Do you think it is worth it to solo mine.

Right now from mining on Ypool my max diff is at 10.992598 and the 10ch is 20 with 47 hours of mining.

Ypool says I only found 1 block in this time period. And I have a total of 9 coins with them.

I know everyone has heard this song and dance but here it goes and I searched the best I could.

My wallet says I am up to date and at block 8535. Not sure if this is correct block. Also the wallet says I don't have mature coins even though they have been in there since the end of POW.

Maybe I missed something but haven't they been there long enough to at least be able to POS?

8539 was the last block, so you should be right on. They will stake up when they are good and ready. i don't think any real pattern or set of circumstance has proven to get them to stake. Minimum coin age: 6 hours, Maximum coin age: 30 days.

That explains it. t could take up to 30 days for the coins to mature.

If some of you are still on JPC take a look at this pool.

https://www.minep.it/pool/jpc/

The UI is awesome. Cheesy

I like the site but for JPC they just are not finding blocks. If you have enough hash you can solo and find 3 to 4 blocks a day still and keep all the coins.

I tried it for a day but wasn't worth the amount of coins.

I know they say it all evens out from pool to pool but it didn't seem worth it to me, at this time.

I know the POW is 50 million coins but about how many blocks is that in the POW?

It is too late for me to do the math.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CC][POS][X11] Official Colorcoin thread on: May 27, 2014, 02:44:31 AM
I'll add 50k to the pot to get this going again.

Don't know what the total is so far.
1339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MRO] Monero - Anonymous Currency Based on Ring Signatures on: May 27, 2014, 12:32:41 AM
Question that I am trying to understand. This type of mining is new for me and I could not find the answer.

I have the wallet synced and created a bat file which opened cryptonote easy miner. The address in the cryptonote easy miner is not the same as my wallet address on the balance page. I can't change  the address in the miner to match. Am I mining for someone else? Can I change that to my address in the wallet to match?

I also tried to pool mine in the wallet but nothing happens when I click on the start mining but it will solo mine in the wallet.

Sorry for noobish questions just want to make sure I am doing this correct.

Anyone doing MRO might be able to answer.

I am up and running but when I start the bat it opens the CryptoNote miner but the address is not the same as in my wallet and I can't change it.

Am I mining for someone else?
