1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: September 23, 2016, 02:42:04 AM
So.... how much have you win or loss gambling ?? And what did you stake ?
I've lost about $60 so far but im planning to win it back. Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered.
A saying well said, however i still need to learn it since my greed is my downfall. Guys and girls
how much money have you made or lost gambling ? Any pointers or warnings ?
It is typical gambler's behavior, when you lost money once all you want to do is recover your loss. It is called sunk cost fallacy.
You just don't want to "waste" money you already spent on the game. Usually it causes you to lost even more money and create spiral of debt/losing streak.
1322  Economy / Gambling / Re: Weclick.io | Something new | Launch giveaway and bonus on: September 23, 2016, 12:32:27 AM
Interesting concept, however 1.9% house edge is relatively high, compared to other sites. I'm interested in playing, however. I'm kind of sick of dice. Currently i'm hooked on bustabit Tongue

The server's down!
Honestly I don't know how exactly House Edge works in multiplayer game? You fight with players and yet you pay fee or something?

And yes, site is down right now: "www.weclick.io Host Error" - Not exactly the best start for a new service.
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which dice site is better ? on: September 23, 2016, 12:07:38 AM
I can only access three gambling dice sites primedice,999dice,betking.which one of these is best & why?

Primedice can be a lot of fun, though it's chat sometimes get spammy, I'd say it is the best of the ones you've listed due to it being around awhile, good community, and Stunna is very generous.

999dice seems good, and the owner is generous, but there is an issue with its provably fair system: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=948965.msg10409624#msg10409624

No clue on betking.
About spammy chat on PrimeDice.com issue - isn't that nice that chat is alive and kicking? I would rather see crowded chat with many people talking that graveyard.

999dice - site with dubious opinion, and I would rather not test my luck there. If there is even slight suspicion that PrivablyFair system is manipulated - better try other sites.

BetKing is very old casino, even older than PrimeDice, I never heard anything bad about their service. Recommended.

1325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Offline and Online on: September 20, 2016, 11:43:10 PM
Which do you prefer the most? Gambling Online using your laptop or other gadgets or Gambling Offline which you have to go to a casino yourself?

I prefer online cause it's much anonymous and you have to exert less effort
I prefer offline gambling in a real casino more then online gambling because it is just more fun you are meeting people and the vibe is just very different.
For me gambling online is not really an experience but I know guys who won money with gambling online, then it can be fun.
Maybe live casinos would be good place for me - if they would actually accept cryptocurrency.
So far I know I know that no casino in my vicinity is even remotely considering bitcoin acceptance.
And I only gamble with BTC, never with FIAT.
1326  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: September 20, 2016, 11:39:49 PM
I would rather advice to invest in 1 casino and use your other funds to invest in something else. An altcoin, stocks ore even a start up. Don't diversify just your money into a sector like gambling, also diversify in investment methods. This way it's really diversified.
The problem with crypto investments is that it is hard to find real investing opportunity in the sea of scams.
If you want simple investment then your choice is limited - you either will invest in casino bankroll, maybe some lending site, and then what?
You can try find good ICOs but risk of this investment is significantly higher. I am not even talking about cloud mining because every new CM is pure scam.

So investing in reputable casinos are somewhat easy way to achieve small profits without big risk.
1327  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would u still use Bitcoin if u were a USD multi millionaire? on: September 20, 2016, 01:18:21 AM
If I were a multi millionaire, I think I would invest a little on bitcoin, study the blockchain more and maybe create an altcoin of my own. I think it would be fun to have an altcoin named after me, and something that I hope I can use to pay for stuff that I would normally pay with fiat.
Do you honestly thing that filling the market with another altcoin is the best idea? Do we really need another altcoin nobody will ever use?
The only correct way of investing your money will be backing bitcoin - stop wasting time and effort on other coins, bitcoin can be upgraded, with big money it can evolve even further.
1328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How would u make 10% profit off 100$ on: September 20, 2016, 12:53:52 AM
If your goal is only 10% then I am not sure if gambling is the best option for you. After all, with gambling you either win $110 or lose $100 if your bet will fail.
And I remember that I lost bets @1.02-1.10 odds before - in fact it is not that uncommon. Earning 10% is just not worth the risk.
1329  Economy / Gambling / Re: mBit Casino - Signup for The Premier Bitcoin Gaming Experience on: September 20, 2016, 12:34:21 AM
I'm kinda out of loop to this. What is the exact allegation against mBitCasino?

Read this post below. It is pretty self explanatory, as long as you are losing they are happy to take your money, but when you win using the same strategy, they claim that you cheated the system.
I am not an arbiter here as I have no idea if this story is 100% true.

My story from July guys.

All is fine until you get a winning streak.

Long story short, I was betting kind of high stakes, 1 btc per bet then repeat the bet at the revised odds. Sometimes I would bet 3-5 times the same bet. It was live betting, with the acceptance delay and odds adjustment it would take 30-90 seconds between each bet, sometimes minutes.
This way, I lost  all my bankroll a couple of times. Then the next day I deposited, I got a winning streak and ended up with 17btc balance.
I was using the same betting style I used to lose everything, no problems back then, but when I won they said I am not allowed to ''bet more than once per bet'', that I exploited their system. Let me note here, many other bookmakers (Sbobet, Pinnaclesports, maxbet to name but a few) operate on a similar model. They have a maximum win amount for a line, and after accepting a bet there, they recalculate their position, lower their odds if need be, and let you bet again on the new line. Mbit lines operated in a similar way, as sometimes odds were dropped a little after my bet, or closed for a minute or two. When the revised line was available again, I attempted another bet and such a bet sometimes was rejected.
Daily small withdrawals were being made, so they were checking my account daily and could see the action.
They also said I lost on purpose, like I know the future or something (odds were fair line, market average not even market top), they gave me 2 btc for my troubles, closed my account and wrote off the remaining 15btc.
They took their sports platform down since then. Their risk management is to blame I guess, but how is it my fault I wonder.

Mbit was happy to accept my losing bets and after I won a bit they cancelled the winnings. They took the risk and they were getting the rewards up until the point where they lost.
They chose not to take responsibility, they blamed me, they freerolled me  and showed me the door.
1330  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: September 20, 2016, 12:07:33 AM
Isn't investing in BTCBTCBTC casinos simply betting against the players?

Or are there programs that give you dividends from the fees?
Investing in casinos in most cases is fueling bankroll of casino with your money.
So yes, you can say that you "play" against players as you are considered the "house" here.

What fees are you talking about here?
1331  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC on: September 19, 2016, 11:57:01 PM
I noticed there are parameters like Luck and Power Level associated with your PrimeDice account. What exactly are these numbers?

How is Luck calculated? How can you have 100% Luck when you are not winning every bet?

1332  Economy / Gambling / Re: is freebitco.in or freedogeco.in worth my time? on: September 19, 2016, 05:01:07 PM
I recently called against a user playing there and earning while gambling the coins he earns.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1564368.0;topicseen

They said its okay to play there even if the faucet is small and the house edge is sky rocketing. Are they right?
It is funny that you actually answered yourself in your question. You got some things right: faucet rewards are insignificant, awfully small and house edge is high.
Mathematically your chances of winning any serious money vs. time you will lose trying to achieve that goal are unfavorable.

So answering your question - it is not worth your time at all.
1333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stuck ? on: September 19, 2016, 04:11:24 PM
We had plenty of periods in the history of bitcoin when price was stable. It is nothing new.
People assume naturally that bitcoin price must be volatile and and now after a brief moment of stability when value of btc is stagnant they panic.
1334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Game Strategy on: September 19, 2016, 03:34:21 PM
Dice does not have any strategy if I am correct because you are just rolling with the dice, it is completely depended on luck and nothing else.
I have heard people say that there is some kind of technique on how you roll the dice but I do not believe it.
It is because gamblers tend to be very superstition people. They belie in random occurrences and "god hand" type of luck.
That is why we have so many misconception about strategies, 'better version' of martingale or some other crazy mixed methods or betting floating around.
1335  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casino with level up faucet on: September 19, 2016, 03:27:25 PM
I read on Reddit that PrimeDice level 40 faucet gets you 10k satoshi but it was way back when PrimeDice3 was introduced over year ago.
Where I can find current table of payments of each faucet level + wager requirements to reach it?

1xBit is the project of 1xbet.com sportsbook, so I think they use figures regarding main project.
Well, it doesn't matter much. As I see from first promo post their marketing skills are not that great.
Until I clicked that link I didn't even know that it is sportsbook we are talking about here.
About this promo of receiving 1 BTC back on lost bets? I assume it is usual-almost-impossible-promo?
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: eSports gambling on: September 19, 2016, 02:23:05 PM
There is a lot of attention nowadays at eSports/cybersport, and ofc many people able to spend a lot of time for games, eSports is about to become as huge as usual sport, so we can find a lot of sites that allow you to make bets on professional cyber teams just like in football or hockey whatever. I just wanna present a list of biggest and the most solid gambling websites:
egb.com - betting on competitive eSport games and tournaments
esportbetting.eu - just like the egb but not that popular
sports.betway.com - and another one example
bet365.com - everybody loves 365 but now even more since this site allow you to bet on esport
csgofast.com - gambling on ingame items(don't underestimate value of items, this site able to bring you huge profit)
hltv.org - biggest website about world of CS GO allow you to bet on almost every game in CS GO scene
nitrogensports.eu - cuz everybody wants it and love it!

There is a lot more sites to be named, but i believe this six could be called as the most popular and probably the best.

As far as I know some sites you presented are not powered by bitcoin at all. So there no need to mention it here, as most people don't gamble with FIAT.
Bet365, EGB, esportbetting.eu, hltv.org and others are not accepting BTC or any other cryptocurrency. The only site from your list accepting BTC I know of is nitrogensports.eu

Bet on Big Distractions is a new one to me. Seems like a good strategy.
I don't know about. It is not confirmed that is has much to do with team effectiveness. T
hen following this logic -  betting on Barcelona after that revelations about Messi's tax fraud would be a bad idea.
But I didn't see that problem interfere with his play at all.
1339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did I do wrong or right ? on: September 18, 2016, 12:50:52 PM
I sold almost all my coins today for about 200 USD (that's what I had in my electrum wallet) and have very few coins sitting on my hardware wallet. I want to build a medium-high end gaming PC and this money is need for me to buy it. Did I do wrong that I sold a high amount of bitcoins about 0.35 to achieve my goal ? I am also happy that I am near fulfilling my goal but also sad as maybe the price of bitcoin skyrockets soon after I did this.

What ever I am the person who wants to achieve my goals no matter the cost so f it whatever the case with the price of bitcoin.
if you need money to buy something ASAP then it is fine to sell your BTC at any price IMO.
Don't beat yourself up over it with thought that if you waited then maybe price would be 2x higher or something.
Believe me, it is not worth it. I experienced that too, when my SDD broke and I needed a replacement.
1340  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chess Game that Used Bitcoin? on: September 18, 2016, 12:37:58 PM
I think chess is a horrible gambling game, I will not be ready to bet any real amount, because required skill and experience to win  Grin
It is not gambling at all. There is no luck element in it. All information is given to you and you have access to you at any time.
What I would like to see is chess variant with changed rules, maybe board will be covered at first and then revealed after X moves or something like that.
