So what's the consensus on the Gay Lesbian and Bisexual Securities Exchange?

Am I gonna be rich?

Troll.

Man, you are such a wang.
1322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a security issue? Massive worker un & pw list found through google ... on: September 23, 2011, 12:57:37 AM
That was part of our old database.

I have no idea why that information was there and I plan on figuring out which idiot from my team did that.

I am in the process of emailing all the affected users to let them know.

Very bad security practice to leave the accounts passwords unencrypted, i hope your not the coder for that site!

Would advise all users to get their miners away from there ASAP

A. We had to keep the WORKER passwords unencrypted so that users could see them and edit them more easily.

B. This is our OLD database on the OLD site. We have since completely rewritten the site's code and it doesn't even use mysql anymore.

C. This happened because one of the guys on the team was doing some debugging and like an idiot did not secure his testing site.

Even so, why have them saved as plain text at all? you can still encyrpt with base64 and a salt code that is kept hidden
They probably thought worker passwords wasn't "important" enough.

They aren't "important", they are a mere formality.

Goddamn you guys are dumb as fucking rocks.

The threads linked in the OP were OBVIOUS TROLLING, including the girl's name Ayn... anyone catch the reference?  She's not real you idiots.

OP is also a weirdo creep.

And it's a bunch of trolls and the SA crew egging the OP on. You got trolled as hard as anyone here, fella.

I still don't understand why you can't really use a powerful CPU for mining. Is a GPU really more powerful for these calculations?

If you live near Waterloo, Iowa, and can manage to quickly track down the residence of a 17 year old girl named Ayn

Oh sure, let me just track down the full name and address of an underage girl and hand it over to a sexual deviant.  I'll get right on that.

I don't want her name and address. I just want her stuff.

You really are a monster. Not only did you ruin her life, but now you are gonna buy all her stuff from her abusive father just for spite?

Remind me not to try and pray for you, bro.
1326  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Don't show post counts on: September 22, 2011, 10:47:12 PM
Disagreement here. I often check the postcount, especially when transfers are involved. In my opinion, someone with 500+ posts is less likely to run away with your money than someone who asks for a 10btc loan in the first post. I don't want to call all newbies scammers, but for obvious reasons it would be easier to scam people because all you need to do is register a new account and ask for your next loan instead of building up a reputation. This forum has a newbie section and minimum requirements to post in the other forums; and from what I know, this was done to keep spam and trolling under control. For me, the postcount works like that when it comes to transactions.

That said, it would be nice to have some sort of rating system between users. For example, when Joe sells something to Jane, he could enable a "rate me" option for her. When the trade is done, Joe gets a rating which is displayed underneath the postcount. I'm sure a lot of people here are honest traders, but nobody knows. Same for the dishonest ones.

What does post-count mean though, compared to post history? Look at what the people have been saying, vs. how many things they've said...with the amount of scamming going here on a daily basis, you should be doing that anyways.

Shit, I am a 'hero member' who has done nothing but joke around and buy a couple things. My post count is up there, but the content of what I post is scraping rock friggin' bottom.

Down with the post count and any sort of 'hero'/'newb' titles! They carry too many false implications.

a year or two. Electricity ain't cheap.

A year or two could mean never because better hardware will come.

The pipeline for hardware development is more than a year long, and at these prices, who's gonna pour that kind of coin into it? 7000 series may or may not be better. No one can say.

There are some guys cranking out like, 100 FPGAs a turn, and that's not affecting much. I don't know that better hardware will come before we have run ourselves into the ground.

Two words:

Something Awful
Even we're not so sure.  This one could be legit mentally ill.

What I find unfortunate is that one of the most hilarious members of this forum is apparently resigning their troll shell, unless of course she 'figures out a way to get on the forums from jesus camp'.

God I hope my filthy immoral soul doesn't burn for eternity for fantasizing about a giant pile of cocaine, PinkiePie dressed up like a porpoise and me in an ostrich costume getting all sorts of weird. That'd show her dad.

Yeah, I'll meditate a little while on filling furry and fetish related requests...

In other words, probably not.

I thought you were a businessman. Christ, your only customers and you're too high and mighty to service them.

He's not even thinking about the information he'd have to be sent to make a bikini for someone!

Their measurements? I don't get it.

it will be at least 6 months until is pays itself off, depending on price changes on the hardware and bitcoin itself.

That statement is contradictory. The price could go to $1000 a coin tomorrow when warren buffet tells everyone to BUY BUY BUY. No one can read the future.

That said, buying a bunch of equipment and running your electrical bill up with the current state of things is probably not such a good idea. Six months is way too optimistic at these prices..more like a year or two. Electricity ain't cheap.

I have to go to bed now, my dad doesn't give me a bedtime but he does hold me responsible if I am not awake enough for my homeschooling in the morning.  Before bed I will say a prayer for you.  I think our conversation tonight has been very enlightening, it is clear you hate women and this is the source of your perverted homosexuality.  I can promise you, not all women are as bad as whoever it was that hurt you.

Hello, I feel I need to share my opinion here.
I'm against rape and victim-blaming.  But honestly, that's probably the only thing we two agree on.  Because...
Fuck you for being a homophobic, bible-thumping ignoramus who uses her delusions to justify her stupid bigotry.  People like you are the ones who give this country a bad name abroad.

Did someone just say fuck you to a school girl?

I was there.
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a security issue? Massive worker un & pw list found through google ... on: September 22, 2011, 04:21:41 AM
Yes, well, we're the smart ones apparently.  Not everyone is.   You have a nice list now of email addresses and potential passwords.  You do the maths.

It is kind of terrible...taking a closer look, a LOT of people have complex passwords set for their workers. It makes me want to start trying them on facebook, but I am not enough of a dick.
1334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a security issue? Massive worker un & pw list found through google ... on: September 22, 2011, 03:57:56 AM
worker passwords are totally pointless. mine are all default. you guys wanna mine for me? feel free.
1335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to ruin Bitcoin, and feel good about not learning anything. on: September 22, 2011, 03:54:10 AM
So is there like a crib sheet for this list?  I know a few are logansryche (who is kicking ass is my Bitcoin Idiot Fantasy League, btw), a few are bruce, and I'm not sure if #3 is Atlas or FlipPro or both.

Hey! This is where I draw the line. Leave logansryche out of it. He's where I get my popcorn.

I wonder if the first firing from walmart was the result of a full-pallet theft of JollyTime Extra Butter.
1336  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to teach you how to make money. [Sticky Please] on: September 22, 2011, 03:13:15 AM
I really hope this is some psychology student's experiment about human greed and how it trounces logic right out the window.
1337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to teach you how to make money. [Sticky Please] on: September 22, 2011, 02:17:24 AM
What was your question?
My first question was about the duration of your positions, minutes, days?
The next one, as I didnīt get my cent, is if you are still giving away 0,01BTC for each smart relevant question.
Thanks
1vH7rWbC1BPiTfxna5t2jUj6XZrAoCsfR

Thanks for the cent, another question if you donīt mind, whatīs the advantage of using your EA to trade LR? ie: does it not trade well in USD?

LR = USD. Same thing.

Ahahahaha...you're fucking joking, right? I better get paid for that question.
1338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need cash for my bitcoin on: September 21, 2011, 11:50:15 PM
Since no one really knows me I'm willing to give you 10% off of MtGox rate if you're willing to trust me and mail the cash first.

10 first orders only.  Maximum $100 per order until I receive some feedback.

No need to be losing money on it in fact if you use the site below they are most times paying a premium vs USD in CAD for some strange reason don't bother me as I like making extra money, anyways cash withdraw straight into your bank account from them as well.

https://www.cavirtex.com/

not cash. see title/thread.

What you mean the part where it says "I need cash for my bitcoin" in the title....

I am saying that a withdrawal straight to your bank account, or any other form of cashing out of an exchange is not cash. OP mentioned that he wants it off the books.

ATTENTION EVERYONE!
ATTENTION EVERYONE!
I am openly admitting that this deal was entirely my fault. Cablepair came to me and asked me for a gift card. He didn't ask if I had one, just that he needed one. I mislead him into thinking I had a card lying around like yesterday's news and so he paid me. Did I fuckup? Oh yeah, majorly. Am I a scam artist? No.. I thought the deal was in the bag, but no one will care about that. They'll only see that I fucked up and lable me a liar/cheater/scammer/whatever.

So there it is.
Hope you're happy Cablepair.

There ya go lying again. It wasn't entirely your fault. Jeremy posted above that he had a little mixup with the email addresses. Smiley

Ahahaha! Nice catch.
