How is everything looking for you guys so far?
Things are looking good for me in this BSFL round with four correct answers but nothing is over yet and things can change so I am not making any early celebration.
This round's a close loss for me. The winner was decided between the Leverkusen match yesterday and I paid the price for doubting them on the road.

Congrats to Trofo for his fifth win. Wink

1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: August 26, 2023, 12:18:55 AM
Since there is no advantage to keep it there, I don't know why OP has that idea. It seems a bit strange for me.  Grin
The only advantage I see in saving through gambling sites is if they start offering interest, similar to what Freebitcoin offers to all their customers who still have a balance on their site.

I guess OP found the idea worth discussing because a few casinos offer these features and back then, you'll see a few gamblers create a second account to store some of their money.

Nitrobetting ID: 267

I can finally join the survivor pool without using a VPN.  Wink

It took me a while to find the survivor pool and it is located in the games section (between the poker and bonuses) if the link above doesn't lead you there.

All these match of the day specials include all these specific goalscorer which is kinda bad. I mean I know for sure that Chelsea is going to win against Luton and over 1.5 goals but Sterling might not score anything tonight. I'd rather if they include in over corner or overall shots on target for these match of the day special rather than goalscorer

Im not happy with the specials so I made my own betbuilder, wml !
I agree and it's why I don't put a lot of units on these specials because the ATGS leg they include can be a hit or miss. I also skip some of them because they're sometimes a bit of a stretch with the markets they put in together.

Good luck with your bet builder, and I hope we both cash our bets at the end of the match.  Wink

Edit: Sterling ATGS is secured now I only need one more goal and the win for the special to hit.  Wink

It's a bad call to save money in a gambling wallet because most crypto casinos will require you to gamble all of your deposits at least once and other casinos can charge high fees for withdrawals. You'll eventually lose a small portion of your money because you can't always roll over your deposit without losing anything.

Also, casinos have different minimum deposit amounts so you can't always put in money compared to bank accounts or online wallets. There are too many inconveniences in using gambling wallets as an alternative to a savings account.

WD is that one hero pick that isn't meta but feels like a raid boss when utilized properly by the team. I've seen a few pro games wherein WD feels like someone that cannot be defeated and an overall effective core hero in midlane. There are times though that WD feels like shit - well it's most of the time - so it's really a highly situational pick.
I agree you need a good setup to make a WD core similar to how B8 last picked the hero against Nouns and I think he's in a similar position as a Rubick core that falls off later on if he doesn't snowball. Then again, he's better off as a support than a core because there are still too many good mid heroes to choose from and the only time I saw a WD core win was when Gaimin Gladiators picked it as an offlaner.

There is still no set meta in this patch so there may be more undiscovered heroes that are good in this patch.
Hopefully, it stays that way for a while because it's fun to see the teams cook up different drafts on every map.

The Chelsea vs. Luton Town specials are up for another 11 hours and I have to go with the Chelsea special (boosted from 2.40 to 2.70) since they're playing at home.

The only bad part about this special is Raheem Sterling hasn't scored a goal yet but I still think there's a good chance he gets one against Luton Town, who conceded at least three goals in their first two matches.

1329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes the win is right in front of us-little tip to sport bettors on: August 24, 2023, 11:59:56 PM
I also overlooked some matches, but I don't know if the Galatasaray match was a good example when it was a tight match with Galatasaray winning at the very end. Seeing key players could encourage bettors to back a specific team but they can still underperform.

Could it be that you're also telling us to pick draw no bet if one team looks better on paper? Maybe there's a 99% chance that you'd win on that but odds are usually low so I usually prefer ML.
Same, i'd look for alternatives like team totals or bet builders because the draw no bet market is tough to hit when your team is playing on the road, and for me, it leaves a bitter feeling when the game ends with a draw.
1330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 24, 2023, 05:33:05 PM
If you believe that passing KYC on several online casino could put your information at risk you shouldn't be gambling on any one casino that requires for verification.

What if you win a large amount of money and you are asked to pass KYC before you can withdraw, I am sure you won't leave without withdrawing the fund, whatever the Casino plan to do with your KYC information later will remain unknown, we are back to where we start I believe.

Pass the KYC too early or later, the danger still lurking anyway, also you winning every rounds of game on the casino and they stop you still doesn't mean the next thing is to use your information for bad things behind your back.
Even if we play on casinos that don't require verification, they can eventually ask for verification because they update their terms and conditions.

I agree with you as well, there are still risks in passing KYC both early and late, and I only wanted to point out that it doesn't hurt to be cautious because passing KYC at the start doesn't always mean you're in the clear for withdrawing large amounts of money. Also, they could still ask for more information in the future because some casinos have different levels of KYC.

Thats weird and I wonder why some of the top EU organization still havent move their teams there to secure some slots instead of all competing in EU. Some of the current division 1 EU teams that didnt get top 3 would have easily made it top 2 on some other region like SA or NA though. Well some of the other regions teams are pretty good as well but WEU is packed with literally top tier teams
I guess some teams prefer to stay because there are more slots available in their region and moving to another region means they'll lose the opportunity to scrim against some of the best teams.

Fancy on betting the EEU games later today, simply took Navi to win against VP. I dont really like the current VP roster and Navi is just way better

I'm also interested in the upper bracket matches of the EEU qualifiers but I have to back VP in this series because the h2h favors them and they've consistently placed 4th in all the EEU DPC Tours this year.

Most of us almost failed that Inter Miami question but they answered back with a goal in the 97th minute to tie the game and force ET.  Shocked

I didnt watch any news about snooker and I only looked lowest betting odds, lets see if my strategy was any good   Grin
I had a similar tactic and picked the ones at the top of the rankings.  Cheesy

Edit: They seem likely to advance now that they're in the lead 3-2.

I saw the partnership announcement between Sportsbet and Newcastle on the promo page and it's great to hear that all of their matches will have a super boost.  Cheesy

I'm also interested to see what specials they have in store for the Newcastle vs. Liverpool match on Sunday.  Wink

1334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: August 23, 2023, 10:53:05 PM
Submit your identity and wait for approval, do not be in haste to make deposit first, because the identity you submitted without a green approval from the team can still be rejected, take your time to get the passed approval first before proceeding with gambling.
I prefer dealing with the verification part later on once i'm sure i'll be playing regularly in the casino I picked because, as one of the earlier posts mentioned, gamblers have several accounts, and verifying every single one could put your information at risk.

Getting verified too early also comes with a risk. What if you suddenly go on a heater after your verification and the casino doesn't want you playing on their site anymore after making too much profit from their games?
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: August 23, 2023, 10:20:45 PM
I was close to making the same mistake as well but i'm lucky I decided to include the full name in one of my snooker predictions after double-checking the bracket and seeing some of them have the same surname.

what really surprises me is that currently the score between Maccabi - Young Boys is still 0-0
Same, I thought we'd see a low or high-scoring match because it's only the first leg, and somehow, it ended with no goals.  Tongue

1336  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Casino in 2023? Share Your Experience! on: August 23, 2023, 01:18:00 AM
1. Which cryptocurrency casino do you think stands out in 2023, and why?
I'm starting to like them less than before but I have to mention Stake as the casino that stands out the most IMO. As yahoo mentioned, they spend a lot of money promoting their casino and streaming platform. They still give out tons of VIP rewards that can be claimed in your preferred crypto and their forum has a bunch of contests and promotions.

2. What specific features or attributes make it your preferred choice?
Their VIP system is the feature that made me pick them. Other casinos could offer a better VIP experience, but you still can't go wrong with Stake's VIP.

3. Are there any safety or security concerns you've faced or are aware of regarding any particular platform?
Only the common issues like phishing through emails.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: August 23, 2023, 12:16:53 AM
Watching the NA right now in the finals, nouns just took the first series and it's like a total massacre and one sided game against Dendi's gang, B8.

It is a best of 5 series and hopefully that they'll able to come back on the next games which is about to start within a few minutes.
B8 crumbled so hard in the next game even Dogchamp didn't lose that fast against Nouns when they fought in the upper bracket. I wasn't expecting a clean win from Nouns, but at least B8 made the third game interesting with their Chrono and Death Ward combo that almost worked.  Tongue

There isnt any restriction or rules on that but Valve should start making rules about it. For now, the community and Valve might not even notice this because B8 ended up not making it to TI but if they ended up making it then the community would start making fuss about it. Imagine if some top teams decided to move into another region just to secure the next Major slots
The only rule I saw in their rulebook is this and I think it's good enough if it means we'll have more competitive teams in the majors and TI.

Quote
For a team to be eligible to compete in a region, 3 or more players MUST be physically located in the region in which they are competing.
1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Stay Safe and Avoid Scams When Gambling Online on: August 22, 2023, 11:23:29 PM
Back then, you'd have no problem picking any crypto sportsbooks since most of them don't require KYC but now it's a bit different. Not all crypto sportsbooks only require an email when creating an account because they can always change their terms and conditions. If you check the table in this thread, there are only a few crypto sportsbooks that don't require KYC, while half of the sportsbooks listed can potentially ask for KYC.

Casinos could potentially leak or sell our information, but as Oshosondy mentioned, it's best to pick the top casinos to reduce the chances of it from happening. Picking crypto sportsbooks also works but unfortunately, most gamblers still prefer to gamble with fiat.
1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do star players affect the odds of a match bet? on: August 22, 2023, 10:48:29 PM
There is a significant effect but it still depends on the sport because I remember betting on the NBA regular season last time and teams that didn't have their star player still played well and won the games they should've lost.

Recently in esports, there was a team who are always one of the big favorites in their league, and suddenly, they became mediocre, losing most of their series (from 6-2 to 9-9) after their star player injured his wrist. Thankfully, he recovered in time and got to play during the playoffs to push the team back to their top form.
1340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos games are not made by the casino teams but... on: August 22, 2023, 02:04:37 AM
The question I have in mind is, aren't the developers the ones that should be responsible for any manipulation in the games or it's still possible for the casino team and members to manipulate the game engines?

Some people still think that games on online casinos are from the casino teams themselves but those games are from software providers, is this valid or not.
The software providers could manipulate the games, but the games they create usually go through inspections and testing. I doubt casinos can cheat through the games made by the software providers, but I know they can adjust the RTP and payouts of certain games.

They're not wrong about casino games coming from casinos because it's true, and the casino you're promoting also released their own games.
