1321  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitstarz Removes 3.45 Btc Balance According to Breaking Bonus Terms on: November 25, 2016, 10:25:22 AM
Did bitstarz close their main thread? That is a horrible decision to take, A casino should never cut off communication.
I thought they were starting to get their act together by requesting Net entertainment to change their software so they could enforce max bet rules during bonus wagering, But with this sort of action shows they aren't committed to the player at all.

Yet they are in all the top 5 lists you see on so called Bitcoin gambling news and review sites Smiley

Just goes to show how shady the whole industry is.
Just pay enough money to the top ranked google sites and you can keep running your scams.
1322  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - NEW DESIGN! Most trusted and popular crowdfunded Bitcoin Dice site on: November 24, 2016, 07:40:05 PM
In my opinion, Betking pretty much known by the public, but why this could happen with this great site can be changed owners, whether there are problems in the team ??

There's no new owners. There's not even a team. BetKing is just me (Dean).

Also as it stands the site most likely will not be sold as I've not had a good/serious offer yet.

So it's back to the grind Smiley
1323  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - NEW DESIGN! Most trusted and popular crowdfunded Bitcoin Dice site on: November 24, 2016, 07:31:04 PM
Is it just me or users can no longer invest in the bankroll? I had deposited some funds into my betking wallet but there's no option to fund my investment. Is it already inactive?

Invest is disabled yeah. No point in taking more if it's to all be divested in 7 days.
1324  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - NEW DESIGN! Most trusted and popular crowdfunded Bitcoin Dice site on: November 24, 2016, 07:01:44 PM
Shitty deal.

is it ever going to be open again?

guess i'm going to have to go to Moneypot but they havent seen profit forever

There is no plan to allow crowdfunded investment in the future.
1325  Economy / Services / Hiring ReactJS developer for gambling site front end on: November 24, 2016, 04:17:48 PM
Must have experience with ReactJS, Redux, Mocha or Jasmine and webpack.

Must practice TDD/DDD.

Looking to redo the front end of https://betking.io with ReactJS.

Developers must show sites they have worked on and preferably their git profile.
You will be asked to provide proof so don't just post someone else's work.
I'm not interested in seeing any rentacoder, freelancer.com, peopleperhour or upwork profiles.

i just see there is a jealous between you both for not winning this vote.
don't take it seriously , people will not consider this vote as a reliable one as long as there is no real indicator such as this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448302.0  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=717790.0 .

Jealous to not win a poll?
Have you not heard how ridiculously successful BetKing is? It's the top crowdfunded Bitcoin casino. Most wagered, most invested, most profit.
We're doing fine without this poll Wink

I think betking.io will rock this month it gained a huge popularity and the withdraw from this website is very fast not like someone other websites call them self Best Gambling websites but take a huge amount of time to process withdraw request..

I dont really think so because their site is already put on sell list and they want to divest every bankroll they have and left only 30btc for their max bet so I think this time they will have less popularity than before when they can even make 250 btc payout

I think a few months ago betking.io had 150 Max profit bet however they have decreased it to 30 BTC now ...

However betking is famous for instant withdrawal they don't ask for ID proof that's why i like it Smiley

We currently still have 176 Bitcoin max profit in a single bet!

The change won't take effect until the 1st of december.

Didn't the number get a small hit already? Think it's because some investors are getting out early. Wonder if more people will take the run before the actual date.

Any big change is because I changed the risk from 10x to 5x to 4x and now 3x.

The drop to 174 isn't related and was because the investor was trading and needed funds.

I'm sure it will go down a bit more before the date though but it doesn't really mean anything.

1330  Economy / Securities / Re: BetKing.io Investor thread - 7079 Bitcoin profit, 6260 Bitcoin invested on: November 21, 2016, 06:19:41 PM
Why was risk tolerance lowered to 3x now?
I second that which has not been answered. 4x was already quite low in my opinion. I understand the reason why you don't want users to control their Kelly but you should set a max and leave the user on top of the choice. These are my two cents.

From 1st of decemebr all investors will be divested and BetKing will not be crowdfunded any more.
See the main thread for more details.

Thanks

You might be true, but I think 30btc max payout is still big enough compared to other dice sites. Afaik PD has only 20btc max payout and Moneypot only around 5-6btc depends on their current bankroll. So I believe betking players will not move to any other places.

It's very rare for anyone to want to bet over 30 Bitcoin. Only a few really big whales bet close to 100 Bitcoin and those are rare.
So that means there's 6000 Bitcoin sitting invested when it isn't needed.
Most of the volume is made up of bets smaller than 30 anyway.

I'm sure the site will remain as popular as it is and I have a lot of updates in the works, assuming it doesn't sell, which I'm in no rush to sell.

That is why your site really well known, that is because there are many big whales like to play on your site because of your huge bankroll but now you lowered it till 30 btc max, i dont see any of them will come back here again though. And you are going to divest everything on your site, so there is no investment needed until your site is sold? When will the divestment happens? Never know what will happen to your site after this

You didn't even read what I wrote. There's not many whales on any site betting more than 30. Very very rare. BetKing volume isn't from only whales betting over 30 Bitcoin. The players who play don't have any reason to leave, it's not like any other site offers them anything better.

Divest will happen on the 1st of December. No investment feature from then on.

1333  Economy / Securities / Re: BetKing.io - FOR SALE - 7100 BTC PROFIT - Bitcoin gambling site on: November 21, 2016, 09:16:21 AM
Can you share more details about the site?

What sort of background would the new owner(s) need?

How big is your team?

How much time do you dedicate to the site a week?

What are the real expenses to run the site?

How would the sale work? Escrow system? In person? Legal document in the UK?

Would you sign a non-compete?

Would you offer support to the new owner(s) over a specific time frame? If so how long?

What is the biggest problems you have faced running the site?

New owners would probably be better to have a gambling background. Bitcoin gambling even better.

I am the only person working on the site. I have contracted out small jobs before for design etc but no other full time.

I dedicate more than needed since I am constantly checking chat, forums etc but there's not much support needed. Maybe an hour a day to answer any emails, forum posts, chat questions. Hot wallet only needs topped up when there's a large divest or whales winning.

Site costs less than £1000 a month to run. This can be reduced too since I have test servers running for prototypes and things.

I would happily discuss non-compete. If I sell BetKing I wouldn't open another dice site.

In OP I state I would give support for a couple months.

Wow. You made everything yourself? That's amazing man.
Have there been any attacks on your bankroll ever? Did you contract whitehats ?

People have tried all sorts of hacks on the site. All have failed.
It's been live for > 3.5 years so you quickly fix any major issues early.
It's also great having a community who report potential issues ethically instead of taking advantage in return for bug bounty. Guys like NLNico.

I'm hoping who ever buys it treats it right like you guys.
Also do you have a main account on bitcointalk so we can keep up with your next projects?

Thanks.

I don't actually, maybe an old one somewhere. I will need to create a new one asap.
1335  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - NEW DESIGN! Most trusted and popular crowdfunded Bitcoin Dice site on: November 20, 2016, 07:36:47 PM
Hi

From the 1st of December BetKing will no longer be crowdfunded.

On the 1st all current investors will be divested and the BetKing bankroll will be funded by me.

The max bet will drop but will remain competitive at 30 Bitcoin.

The reason for this is that as some may know I have listed BetKing for sale.
The main concern from interested buyers is that BetKing would not provide a return on investment for them if they were bankrolling themselves due to lower max bet and investors not attracting players.
I'm going to bankroll myself to get better stats over the next 3-6 months to show what it would be like.

Would like to say thanks to everyone who has been invested in BetKing and welcome them to join the new investor slack channel I setup to discuss future projects. Pm me on betking chat if you want an invite.

I thought most investors are also players?  Grin Anyway I am excited and interested on your possible future projects. We'll be watching here. Good luck on your future endeavors and thanks for those investments gains in advance.  Grin

Not many investors are players.
Thanks a lot. I'll keep you updated.

I didn't ignore you. I chat banned you for begging, which you had done quite a few times and I told you to stop. So your messages didn't show up in chat, only to you.

I'm a dick for not giving someone free money? Smiley

1340  Economy / Gambling / Re: What about an advanced Dice Game on: November 17, 2016, 01:52:06 PM
I was thinking if we can choose our custom numbers in dice games and bet on them.... then it would be very good.
However when i bet on Hi / Lo game i don't feel good when a number is popping in my mind
For Example : If i think 44.xx gonna come then i want to choose between 40.xx to 50.xx all the numbers and make a 10x or around that multiplier including House edge.
If any gambling website can do this thing then i am sure it will get popularity very easily.

I'm sure a dice site popped up recently that had that feature but I don't recall the name.
