In fact, you are right. I think that we wait already long enough for some updates. It would be great to hear something Op...  Sorry for lack of updates but in my last one I said I would post when there was news. We now have almost the whole site (the new version that people were able to test last month or so) rewritten from scratch again but in NodeJs now and running on Linux instead of C# and Windows. There's a live version that's up for testing but I still need to add some fixes to the account page. Also app management hasn't been finished yet. Once these are added I will post the link here. Once that's done we can get back to where we were last month and start adding the new features needed before it goes live for real  |

Because the author doesn't have a clue what he's talking about? Laughable to call all crowdfunded gambling sites scams. When was the last time one scammed? Dice.ninja was the last major one. All the more recent ones? If you get scammed by putting your money into a casino with no players and a 1 BTC bankroll you're going to have a bad time. It's investing. Do research. Just-dice returned ~56k btc (around $31 million iirc) to investors in 2014 after it closed. I returned 6k btc (around $5 million) to investors in December when I closed. Bitdice has seen great returns for it's investors. He doens't know the law at all. FYI BetKing was operating legally from the UK without having on onlne licence. Pay a lawyer and follow the advice. It's also not illegal to setup a company in Costa Rica and pay less tax. I do agree with some of his points, particularly that licenses are scams. But to just call all centralised casinos scams is stupid. Decentralised online casinos will never be as popular as centralised ones. Great tech and great ideal sure but it won't work. Sorry for the lack of updates. Nothing new to really show or tell at the moment unfortunately except that I am still working on it. The new release date will be "when it's done" I haven't been able to commit all my time recently to it. There's been added delays with scrapping the new code and then using a new development language and platform. Also I just want to make sure everything is done right and to make it as secure as possible. Will post again when the test site is back online. Thanks |

What is it now? Lamp? I mean if you are moving away from mssql the most reasonable choice would be mysql, that is not a hard migration for someone who knows mssql.
Changing backend sql to something else is not as hard as changing the front end code if you ask me. Changing from javascript to php is a lot (I mean A LOT) harder than changing the backend databse from mssql to mysql.
Yeah true. I'm also changing the ASP.NET and C# code to NodeJs and moving away from Azure (which I relied on their queue service before) to another cloud platform. It's going well and to be honest a lot easier than I expected. |

It's not just you I took that test version offline. I've had a bit of an issue with Microsoft Azure the past few weeks. Lets just say their service isn't going to be the ideal choice for the new website. So I've decided to rewrite (again) the backend in NodeJS, change database away from MSSQL and use a different cloud/hosting provider. I will also be switching to Linux instead of Windows servers. (only took 4 years dooglus ) This sounds like a big change but it won't slow down the development as much as you might think. I will give updates in here and put a new test site up once I have changed everything over. Thanks |

Don't show divest dialog if total investment is 0 Set new limits for highroller bets based on currency: btc = 0.1, eth = 2, dash = 2, ltc = 10, xmr=5, free doesn't get on it You can't invest the free coins now Formatting if balance and bet amount Fixed setting client seed issue Fixed chat line length so it spans multiple lines Today I'll be working on smaller updates and cleanup like the above (I have > 30 on my todo list ) Scuni is working on account page this weekend so we should see that complete soon with all the expected account features and some new. |

Good question, otherwise what would be the point? The main things you will see on launch are: Even faster betting than before Multi currency support - play and invest "App" support - casino account and bankroll service so you can create your own casino using our platform. Investment feature making a return Free bets to test before deposit New simpler and easier to use theme (in my oppinion) However that's just the main differences on initial launch. There's things that you won't see since they are either behind the scenes or will be released incrementally after launch. The whole site has been rewritten from scratch with scalability and maintanability in mind. This allows adding: new games, native mobile app support, bonus and reward systems, and better promotions to be added easily. I won't go in to the future additions much here until after the improved dice site is launched |

I came up with "Kingcoin" today. If you like it, feel free to use it. (sounds like King Kong)I'm still trying to understand Investments. I've invested 1000 Bitcoin, then lost and won 1000 Bitcoin. Nobody else placed any bets. After this, my investment had a small profit ("Current" larger than what I invested). If the site didn't earn, and commission is taken, I would expect my Investment shows a small loss. Did I just find a bug?  (It could be caused by someone else investing/divesting at the same moment. That's unlikely though, as I tried it several times with the same results.) Screenshot (edited to take out other investments): I've won and lost 500 Bitcoin after making this investment. This is the result:  Just looked in to this. It's not a bug. It's because the profit column shows profit before commission is taken. Also because of the way leverage works your % of house changes every bet based on total invested and max bet. So in your specific case you were able to get that small extra amount in current. I can show calculations at some point to maybe help better explain it. |

Update: We now have a very simple chat feature up so you can chat on site It allows global chatroom for all apps but also app specific chat. It does have multi language support too but I need to tweak design before you can use that. Please note the chat section still has design work and features to add. (users online, emojis etc) I'll update github with latest issues and features regarding the chat tonight. That's 2nd milestone reached. I'll create a new one for next week where we will be taking real deposits for play and invest |

Removed the strict password requirements.
Note there's a lot of security features for accounts still to be added, things we had on old BetKing like 2fa and also features you see on exchanges and some other sites like confirm withdraw via email, whitelisting ip/devices etc.

I wanted to start a similar project but due to lack of knowledge and time I had to give up, but I have some ideas that you may like.
I think the app package should not be free, but it costs say 10 or 15 BTC
I always thought it was better quality than quantity (proof is moneypot)
At this price, I think you getting a contractor who will be more serious than free entrepreneur, and therefore you can expected more efforts from them in marketing, promotion, dedication, etc.
With this BTC you can offer full service: Website development and installation, investments, the further development of the service ... with fewer but better quality sites/admin have a much less work, conversation, settings, eliminating the problem ....
Is it possible that the app players login or register without the need to make an registration on betking main site?
This is important because, I as a contractor want seemingly totally independent service, which can be customized for my local market
Profit also can share depending on the originally invested BTC in app
