Who in their right mind, would buy or sell a 250 mh/s miner for $200 less than an 800 mh's miner?

It's less than 1/3 of the hash-rate of another unit for just $200 more, noone will buy it.  Why would someone even manufacture it, instead of just making more 800 mh/s units?

Then, the middle price unit?  Total WTF there.......................

I smell bacon!!

The middle one I can not justify.  The smallest i could see for 110 outlets.   Sadly US does not do 220 as standard.  But the price difference I agree makes no sense.

I was hoping to see the maker answer some things and it has just not happened.  And open date is less then 24 hours.
13222  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ethernet Hub & Switches help! on: October 26, 2014, 06:22:21 PM
I'm still a little unsure with initial question.

Yes you can plug a hub into a router.   Doing this will give you more Ethernet slots.  You can plug any device into these, it does not matter game console or miner.

just ship 1 for free to a major review site, and you will be out of stock in no-time.

Proof is what matters at this time; and really the only thing.

With 22 hours left it is impossible to get it to a reviewer, this is why i suggested they do a remote testing with a trusted member.  But so far no word back.
13225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling Bitcoins Process Question on: October 26, 2014, 01:45:13 PM
Haha alright. I think I'm gonna try coinbase, least for selling. I hear that it takes awhile for transactions to get processed though. Any money I invest in this venture would be extra cash I'm not spending, so I can "afford to lose it", though I hope that doesn't happen

They have different levels of service.  A while back they added have a credit card on file, they don't use it sunless bank would deny transaction.  If you do this level of verification you can get instant coins i believe up to a point.

But if not you have to wait a few days for bank to transfer money to them.
13226  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ethernet Hub & Switches help! on: October 26, 2014, 01:41:27 PM
I feel like you are either confused, or I am being trolled.

I have never heard of "male" Ethernet ports. I believe even thinnet, AUI, and fiber tend to be female ports.

Second, hubs are distinct from switches. You are allow about 5 levels of repeaters and 250m of distance in a single collision domain (at 10Mbps anyway, not sure how 100Mbps hubs changed that).

You should be able to plug the "uplink" port of the hubs/ switches directly into the "lan" ports on the router.

If your connection is at least 100Mbps, I doubt you will have a problem. If you want to isolate the mining traffic from the rest of the network, you may need a machine with two network cards (to act as a router). (A bridge would work as well if the Rasberry Pi is on the same side as the miners (A switch can act as a bridge (your router probably has a built-in 4 port switch))).

I agree I have done a lot of networking.  Never seen a "male" Ethernet port.  Unless he is talking about a cable or something hes using.

how to start working on the hashnest can you give me overall ideas of earning too
THanks

This would depend on how much GHz/THz you buy.  No one can say unless you tell how much you are buying.
13228  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: October 26, 2014, 01:32:12 PM
Do they have a site or anything they announce problems?

Site is now up and down.   Pools are the same not all the miners see it.
13229  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: *** GHash.IO mining pool official page *** on: October 26, 2014, 07:39:42 AM
Seems like its going up then down now.   I will see my miners getting a little hash they drop back to different pool.
13230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reward Dropping - Looking for a website that lists many coins on: October 26, 2014, 05:31:47 AM
This site may have a lot of info you are looking for, just not the reward drops.

http://www.coinwarz.com/

Yea I love this site wish they had when reward drop is coming.   I'm hoping someone has mad this site but maybe not.
13231  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN‘s Liquid Cooled Miner C1: It is not only cool, but it is cool on: October 26, 2014, 05:08:40 AM
Any news if C1 is actually shipping as stated or going to be delayed?
Anyone received the cooling kit yet ?

I can confirm I got my kits.  I have them sitting with psu's and liquid waiting for install.  I'm excited to see liquid cooled C1 in action.

Just waiting on my C1 to be ship.  So getting closer!

I really want to believe with prices there is a lot of ROI room.

I have sent them a offer of me testing it remotely.  This way I could use and report back here and share my experience with it.  It's really to close to them selling to ship I don't think the miner would make it here before opening of sales, so i think remote testing is best thing left.

I will let you know if they were interested in me doing it.
13233  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining Sites Online on: October 26, 2014, 03:48:34 AM
ok send me some best cloud sites Wink

u can try here https://hashie.co/ referral removed They give 10gh/s for ever and u can buy 10gh/s from 4.90$. I think thats the cheapest.

Is that a referral link?

Hashnest 10 gh = .011250 BTC * 346 = Approx 3.87 for 10 GHz.

I do give "hashie" credit for free 10 ghz.  I just have not hear much about them.

i havent hear a lot for them also.. i started with the 10gh/s free and i purchase 20 more... and you dont have to purchase now... use the free for life 10gh/s and see how it goes

I just posted above they have a rule "In order to withdraw, you must own at least one purchased miner. Purchase a miner here.".  It makes  sense so it cant be abused.  But i wont be using them.  You have to purchase 20 GHz to access withdraw on the 10 GHz
13234  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling Bitcoins Process Question on: October 26, 2014, 03:40:30 AM
I usually just use an exchange. I have my account verified, so the process after that is fast and straightforward.

Which exchange do you like to use?

I have always had good luck with coinbase.  If you are US its great.  I personally make a checking account just for it and makes it pretty easy.  The new account makes it were my real checkings is not mixed all up with BTC stuff, makes it much easier to track.

But personally I don't exchange much.  I am a long term holder.

I would suggest looking them up.  It gives you time to educate yourself.   Look at price, if it is only for a certain period of time, fees, etc.

I personally have been hardware mostly for myself.  https://www.hashnest.com is hard to beat as far as cloud mining price.  That is just personal opinion since I mine from hardware I have not spent as much time with ROI math on cloud which you need to if your going to invest.

uk1 is down too... what is going on?

I'm not sure I dont see a announcement or anything.  I have to thank my antminers for letting me know with a few beeps Smiley. Site is up and running, but pools seem to be down.

13239  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [IDEA] BitFraternity on: October 26, 2014, 01:54:53 AM
I think meet ups are nice.  I wish I could go to more conferences.  I think you could do a group who talks about coins, share knowledge.  It could be really good idea.

I don't know if I would call it a Fraternity.  I don't think having  secret traditions will really happen.  I could see it more to being compared to a hacker space/ maker space.   Would be great if someone started a physical site for people to come anytime and see others who are interested in crypto coins in person.

True, well then it'd be a group at the very least.
I'd like it to be a somehow exclusive group though so itd have some uniqueness compared to other groups

I think a physical location would do this.  Years back I went to a "Hacker Space", was a really nice experience.  I learned everything from computer security to more of the make side of 3D printing.    If you look you will see quite a few Hacker/Maker Spaces.

If you could get a "Bitcoin Space" for lack of better term it would be unique as it having a physical location.  I have been at the start of one of the Hacker/Maker space and can say it's a lot off work.  Specifically if you want to be recognized as a non-profit organization(501 C3).
13240  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [IDEA] BitFraternity on: October 26, 2014, 01:32:48 AM
So is anyone here who isn't trolling willing to give actual feedback and ideas?

Done above Smiley.  I think a physical site would really take off.  Just a LOT of work starting.

Again can look at hacker space/maker space that some cities have.
