achow101 is right. The Bitcoin.com wallet supports both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. The Bitcoin Cash wallet is in green and appears on the top in the interface. Below it is the Bitcoin wallet in yellow.  The Bitcoin.com wallet has an active customer support and you can email them at wallet@bitcoin.com. |

I think that it shouldn't be possible to leave a trust, positive or negative (especially negative) without a reference. Be it a reference from this forum or an outside source. Also, it should be possible to appeal those without a reference link and those that are clearly retaliatory should be removed. Off course this should be done on forum, completely transparent and public so that everyone can see who is appealing what and see for themselves that the right decision is made.

Do you mean no previous escrow track record or no previous deals/trades at all on Bitcointalk?
Theoretically, if a user wanted to become an escrow here, what would he need to do if he doesn't have a track record?

I agree with Awesomus Maximus. If you are in debt, facing issues like loosing the roof over your head, or you are putting your family's life and health at risk there is no reason to hold on to your crypto in hope that its price will one day go up. You can always get more Bitcoin, but you might not be able to get your loved ones or your home back.

That is really great to hear and congratulations on getting your account back. Did you find out what the hacker used it for? Did he use the forum at all while you didn't have access to it? Are there any personal information that he could have found out about you or people you know from the PMs for example? If so, make sure you protect yourself and inform anyone those who might or might not have been approached by the hacker.

Never trust hackers They might have a database of email addresses that are used, but they do not have the passwords or it might never have been hacked. They just want to know which of those addresses are still active and has some value for their owners, so that they have good victims to target. You are both right. There is indeed that possibility. Everything can be made to create the impression that it was created to make something better or provide help while in fact its purpose is quite the opposite. |

I just checked one of my IPTV providers and it just have 1-2 seconds delay from terrestrial television. I don't know, maybe it depends on IPTV provider. Those are excellent results, never thought that was possible nor have I seen that in my country anywhere. Alternatively, aren't there services that provide paid access to satellite feeds?
How would the delays on those types of streams be and are there any providers that are recommended? I dont know but I am interested to know the same thing. I am pretty sure there are paid and high quality streaming services available but people either dont know about them or they are not willing to share that info. |

Similar stories appeared last year but there is now a new breach and Troy Hunt, owner of the website Have I Been Pwned (HIBP) has found a huge list with 773 million hacked user accounts including emails and passwords! The list contains more than 21 million different passwords. This would be a good opportunity to do a check on the email addresses you use and see if any of them is found in the list on Troy Hunt's site. Go to: https://haveibeenpwned.com/ enter your email address and click on pwned? If your email address is found in the list you will receive feedback from the site that you have been pwned including from which site the leak probably came from. In case your email address is in the list - change your password!You can also use the site to check if your password/passwords are found anywhere in the list. I wouldn't suggest doing that but if you want to check do it at your own risk!The site doesn't show the hacked passwords and they are also not saved on the website for security reasons. Jučer sam pročitao ovaj zanimljiv post koji objašnjava način na koji se određene sekcije i dijelovi foruma stavljaju na Ignore. U slučaju da vas određeni dio foruma ne zanima, npr teme iz podforuma za Rudarenje ili Podrška za Rudarenje, onda možete jednostavno učiniti sljedeće da vam ti podforumi više ne budu vidljivi. Kliknite na Profile na vrhu stranice a zatim na Ignore Boards Preferences. Na listi jednostavno odaberete šta vas ne zanima i na dnu stranice kliknite na Change Profile. You can search on google and enter site:bitcointalk.org followed with the search term you are interested in. That is better than the forum search in my experience + it is faster. Searching with site:bitcointalk.org will only show you results from bitcointalk.org and no other site.

@AverageGlabella I dont think it will make a big impact. Bitcoin is already here, created by Satoshi or someone else, the technology works and serves its purpose. Whether it was created by a guy called Satoshi, Bill Gates or Kim Jong-un will not make much difference since it is a technological revolution.

I would say that is secure enough. If you are not going to use it for browsing the internet or anything else online you should be safe. But it will also depend on the type of wallets you are planning to install and use on your MacBook. Make sure those are legit and downloaded from a safe location. How were you planning to get the wallets to your device? I would advice against connecting USB devices on your Macbook to prevent any possibilities of infecting it via the USB, just in case.
And of course make sure you have your private keys/seed/wallet.dat stored at a safe place.
