Time for X11? ASIC's and one hit multi's looking for targets. Most coins are getting protected and now that doge is the field of targets has diminished considerably. Rofo you need to seriously think on this. This coin cannot afford to be massively dumped. Yesterday Dif rose to 7.5 then dropped to 2 or so so they are getting a quicker switching algorithm that is getting around the 1 dif retarget. AFA Pools. I have used Poolerino from day 1 and have never had an issue (Except that pita invalid token so i have to enter the friggin captcha twice every friggin time). And Mike is always available and a supporter and follower of this thread. I can also vouch for Hash.So, I use it alot when I am fast switching coins. We need the P2pool setup. I miss the days I could code. Never grow old and broken. |

I'm still wary that's the Blackcoin pool. They no longer publicly announce what coin they're mining after I pointed out they sit on NobleCoin when we're 26th most profitable. I think the owner of the pool must hold a grudge rather than have any intent to mine profitable coins. You can see how unhappy many on their thread are with the terrible payouts the pool actually gives for time/hashrate. The pool will die when more clue on, that or we'll be left alone. I was thinking of mining them and dumping them for nobl.  but decided it wasn't too Noble. Sorry been quiet lately guys RLS piling up lately. Keeping up with the threads though. These Exchange hacks have really hurt the scene. The Cannibalization I predicted has come about as well. I've pointed my miners at a stronger coin (Doge and Lite) I have to cash out and pay electric soon. And if the Dif falls below 4 I'll throw some back again. I check it every morning. Seeing it at 7 is like a breath of fresh air! Portents good things to come me thinks. I think the heat on coinmarket is paying off and although I doubt the BTC will get returned it looks like the alts are being shipped. AFA CoinEX I have a bad feeling that one is a runner. Hi Haven't really had any problems getting the wallet to sync, make sure you have all of the nodes from the first page added (I use the debug window to add them)then try deleting the peers.dat file from in the appdata folder. ...You should really try out disabling the ULPS, it was key thing on my rigs when my cards were turning off. I read about it from somewhere here few months ago when I started to mine. Here's some explanation of the ULPS http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=361702As you can see you don't need the Afterburner itself if you want to make some regedit "(run: regedit) and search for "EnableUlps" and set it to "0"." No option in Afterburner for some reason. The option is there on my main system. I'll edit it in the reg when I get up again. but It should nopt have an effect as I'm not having a power down issue. But it can't hurt to disable it either so thx for pointing that out. Guru3d has always been a favorite site of mine. Winblows OS/drivers are smarter than you. Didn't you know that? Do you have a dummy plug or video cable plugged in?
Edit: Also do you mean an actual PCI slot or PCI-E?
Yes tried hdmi,db-15 and dummy. And yes Actual PCI slot.  I'll post how when I get it sorted. What's up dude, I don't know if this helps with your problem but in PCI-E slot and with R9 290's I don't need any dummy plugs. Just install MSI Afterburner and turn off the card power saving mode ( I don't remember the name ) it's in the Afterburner settings. Save settings, restart computer and then the cards don't go off. I have also turned off the Crossfire mode in the Catalyst Control Center. edit. No Pci-e issues though. right now I'm running on 4 modified 1x extension cables on a 939 dfi lanparty. It only has 2 16x 1 1x and 1 4x pci-e lane though so I'm trying to use the pci slots as well. after that I may se about splitting the pci-e lanes but from my research there is only 1 passive adapter board and it may be board specific. The cost of active lane splitting is prohibitive compared to board replacement. I've modded the card bioses to .968v and after getting all this up and running I have a few idea's about lowering that as well. I'll give the disable ulps option a shot and remove the resistors and check to see if it works while I'm at it on the r9-270's. |

Just sold 4 or 5 days of doge and bought noble. Got new R9-270 today and trying to get it to run off of a PCI slot (YUP that's right). I have drivers installed and Miner recognizing card but refused to hash so far.  May be the mobo. Probably because It's a winblows machine. I may have to go Linux. Heading back to play with it some more. |

Welcome. Yeah I was mining other coins and exchanging them to BTC for buy support but this difficulty on NOBL is making it so hard not to mine  I hear yah! I swapped one back yesterday when the dif went below 4. Hashrate fairly stable now for a few days and still high up on coinwarz even though they use Poloniex as the price, rather than agx which is always a bit higher.
Most profitable coin to mine right now, really shocked difficulty is still so low - why other miners are not mining this I have no idea. Happy to keep mining this and support the network.
Being top coin on coinwarz is like a double sided blade. If the profit is higher then people mine it and sell it and while doing that, they eat the buy walls and push the price down. It's good to be listed on coinwarz but I think people just look at how many $ they can make per day and point their miners to most profitable. I'm mining other coins like Doge and Reddcoin and sell them to get BTC which I use to build some kind of buy support for NOBL. That way I kind of inflate the other coins a bit  and do something good for Noble.
