1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: May 29, 2020, 02:55:33 PM
I am well aware of coins with controlled inflation like BTC, where a finite number of coins will be generated at a controlled rate. Very recently I came across deflationary tokens where coins are destroyed whenever a transaction is made and they will end at some time.
My question is what is the purpose of creating such coins? Are they worthy enough to be invested ?
Bitcoin is not either inflated or deflated, it is just have finite number and miners are still working on to mint bitcoins which doesn't mean the coin is inflating. But due to the inflation on fiat value the price may looks like inflating. But creating  a coin with deflationary feature is just nothing other than for dumping the coins at some point so people may tend to hold in longer term but not everyone holding in long term will make reap out of it.
1342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 28, 2020, 05:01:32 PM
That is a bad approach to gambling and that is the reason why many people get addicted to it since it will create more and more problems which may never get a solution.Just think in a realistic manner so you may never think that you can make lot of money with your little money and can solve all your economic problems, house has better edge so you will lose more times than you wins.
1343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: May 28, 2020, 02:37:13 PM
Been trading for quite a while now and it took me time to get to where i am today coming from a noob in trading. Trading cryptocurrencies was one hell of an experience for me Grin.

The first cryptocurrency i traded back in late 2018 was bitcoin and i lost a whole lot of money trading it. I guess i didn't learn enough about the crypto market and the volatility involved before delving into it  Undecided.

Ever since then, i picked another instrument of choice. I went into the FOREX trading. I plan on coming back into trading cryptocurencies but for now i'm still learning about the crypto market.  Cheesy

It was a painful experience though  Grin

What was your experience ?
Since you enters into the crypto market at bearish trend then its hard for you to make any profits so you have to enter back again at the right time. Now seems a good time but we still not find any movement on prices after halving so enter with less capital and lets see how much you can make with that.

It doesn't matter whether bearish or bullish trend.
You can always make money on any side of the trend.
In bearish trend the chances are less for traders other than who involved in intra day trading, best ever time for trading is sideways not the bearish or bullish but when someone literally begins their crypto trading the bullish trend is the best way to get involved into it.

Startups with different ideas will get the attention from investors but when it comes to cryptos 99% of them are just replicating the old ideas so we might reached the saturation pioint already and simply few cryptos are enough for the whole world but already have few hundreds of them.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: May 27, 2020, 06:43:00 PM
If there is an existing topic or similar topic I will lock this thread please let me know.

Casinos have many perks like free drinks, foods and sometimes room and accommodation and they also offer loan to their old clients
While online gambling casinos you are in the comfort of your home you are relaxed and can play and take time and go back with one click

Where do you play longer hours online casinos or casinos?
More longer you play then more chance to lose your money that is why casinos offering free perks to keep you stay in their casinos but it may need some kind of subcription so its your choice whether you like to stay at your comfort while gambling or enjoy other things which are offered by casinos. My pick will be online casinos since I am not a regular gambler and I don't feel comfort while playing outside when I keep losing money.
1347  Economy / Economics / Re: Could CBDCs defeat crypto in the long term? on: May 27, 2020, 05:26:19 PM
Now that there have been talks among central banks in launching their own CBDCs, the fate of crypto could be at stake. Governments wouldn't allow anyone to use alternative currencies in order to enforce the use of national digital currencies (CBDCs). They might believe that decentralized crypto is the threat to the existence of the world's monetary system. Such events haven’t happened yet because central banks are still attached to physical cash. Once they're able to "be in par" with crypto, they might do anything at their disposal to prevent people in the mainstream world from using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

What are thoughts? Do you believe that at some point in the future, CBDCs could defeat crypto? Or will CBDCs co-exist with decentralized cryptocurrencies for the foreseeable future? Huh
Launching their own digital token is like harming their own banking system because there won't be any need of banks if we are moved to the digital currencies created by our governments. And also its more like the physical cash which is already existing in the digital form so I don't think it will have effect on decentralized mode of payment at any point.
As a means of payment, decentralized cryptocurrency and digital currencies of states will compete with each other. Most likely, it will be the existence of two different branches of financial digital assets. Despite their fundamental difference, these two directions in digital currencies should coexist. Both of them will have their users and will sometimes be in the same payment cards.
Centralized and decentralized cannot exist at the same time as means of payment, it should be one over another.I feel digital currencies from government has better chance to take over decentralized if it gets implemented in near future but when people knows about decentralized and get adopted to it then coins from government will have no meaning to exists.

1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying on: May 26, 2020, 05:27:59 PM
With the development of the economy, BTC is now gaining more and more attention, and it is not disappointed by the people who chose it. From being questioned at the beginning, to a large number of people investing now, it has become a popular investment product. I first learned that BTC was recommended to me by my friend W (who was the administrator of the Monetary Authority) at that time, and let me also invest, but I thought it was a hype May be cheated (this has become a big pity for me). Later, I started investing in 2013, when I bought 100 BTC and sold it at the price of 16,000 in 2017. Now my friend W has recommended a new cryptocurrency to me. Should I invest?
Your friend is having good analyzing skills about crypto currencies but remember that you may never find a coin like bitcoin but still we have lot of other good crypto currencies to invest. If you believe your friend then its your own decision to invest or not, or you could let us know about the coin which is is suggesting to invest.
1350  Economy / Economics / Re: Get ready for more tax. Save your BTC! on: May 26, 2020, 01:21:09 AM
Even when the crude oil prices touched the bottom my country increased taxes on the petroleum products, noticed minor increase on the taxes for tobacco and liquor products as well so the process has been already started when people are crying out for foods.Well play by the governments. Angry

The government could easily increase on products like tobacco and liquor but not on the basic needs.
In our country, when the tax was significantly increase on liquor, cigarettes, and beverages, people just feel it temporarily and still they are buying.

But if its the basic needs that will increase due to taxes, their, we might see some chaos because at the situation now where a lot of company closes and leads to unemployment, it's not possible to happen.
If government think this isn't a basic need and really do more harm to their citizen they should ban it but what they are trying to do is to make more money by making the people to get addicted to it and when it comes to petrol price increases it means it will get effected in every consumer product because it will increase the transportation cost a bit more to the production companies.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your loss at an acceptable level on: May 24, 2020, 10:44:19 PM
Accept your mistakes and try to minimize the risk of losing the money in future by avoiding the same mistake again in your life. When you begin your trading career then you shouldn't trade with all of your money or else you can't do anything if you lose all that money since its very much possible with crypto market.

1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Limited participants is the best option for bounty campaigns this days on: May 24, 2020, 07:13:06 PM
It seems many new bounty hunters are joining this forum weekly or monthly, every single bounty campaign is full of thousands of participants, my claim is some bounty managers don't care how many you really are, even if it's just 5$ for each bounty participants, this is plain bad, I remember telling bubbalex to reduce Cartesi signature participants and I'm glad he listened, if not the reward would be very bad....
Bounties which are paying in their own tokens rarely pick the quality forum members because they knows that no one with better quality posting habit will waste their time with useless tokens so first thing the bounties have to do is to pay in any listed cryptos then think about limiting the participants.
1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TRUSTED PROJECT BOUNTY OR JUST SCAM ? on: May 24, 2020, 05:09:18 PM
Talking about bounties in a project, now I have not participated in bounties for a number of years, I think there are things I want to ask about and maybe you can share them here according to your experience. how do you think for the moment determine whether the bounty of the project is good and will be successful in the future?
and in your experience do you have a recommendation that the bounty manager team is indeed very good? share your experience here, it might be useful for me and other people.
Most successful bounty hunters will determine the project based on the idea of the project so they have better chance of having high yields. And also looking the bounty manager is a factor which gives an idea about the project team's desperation on making their project towards in successful way.

Legit project team, good road map, clear whitepaper and reputed manager then its good to be participate.
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: May 24, 2020, 02:57:20 PM
I know that scam bounty projects still shows up on this forum from time to time but after managing to promote the bounty that's not a scam you end up with very low bounty reward, why ? I think the problem about bounties is we have too few bounty campaigns and too many bounty hunters

JUST IF

Just if bounty managers and project teams can start limiting bounty hunters the reward will still be fair enough, how can 500 participants share 3000$ bounty allocation?

Where are the bounties with fixed bounty allocations? After doing some digging on past bounty campaigns I noticed many of them have fixed rewards, this is good or limited participants

What do you think??
Limiting the participants is good for the hunters and the manager but not for the project because all they look for is to get maximum exposure that is why we have stake based reward calculation in the first place.Very few managers have limiting their participants when it comes to bounties even due to their reputation factor so follow best manager to get more advantage on this.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 24, 2020, 12:56:50 AM
I definitely don't want IPL this year as it may affect the T20 WorldCup in Australia which I am eagerly expecting for as things are better in Australia comparatively.
Does that mean that BCCI will interfere in the decision making and they will prefer league cricket over an international tournament Shocked. None of the cricket board will allow that to happen, with the situation not suitable for the tournament in India with the situation is getting worse when the rest of the world is recovering will not help them either. Australia on the other hand is safe to conduct the T20 World cup and i expect to see that tournament as planned.

I think it all comes down to money and having the IPL played this year will most likely make a lot more money then the T20 world cup. This is why they are pushing so hard for the IPL to be played this year even though the situation in India with the virus seems to be getting worse by the day. Cricket in Australia isn't as big as it once was and that could be another reason why we could see the IPL played and the T20 world cup postponed to a later date.
Even if we have IPL this year then it may not be profitable as previous years because people got affected economically in worse ways so its impossible to imagine them to spend their remaining money for entertainment events. And T20 is also much likely to get postponed if the virus spreads is not under complete control because players won't take risk on their life.
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETHEREUM UNDERVALUED OR OVERVALUED on: May 23, 2020, 09:53:03 PM
Ethereum has remain very strong as the second token on most websites and blogs with list of active cryptocurrencies on the exchanges. it stands the second token behind bitcoin and the top most altcoin with the second highest market cap. recently, transaction prices keep increasing and most developers are leaving the ethereum platform,
does this means that Ethereum Network is Over used and require more development to substain transactions on the platform OR there is Nothing that can be down to settle the payment issues that cause high price during transaction.
Thousands of projects were already on the market based on etherum blockchain so developers are interested in changing their idea to get their project more successful but it doesn't mean ethereum is losing interests among the investors.Ethereum is still undervalued.
1358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it time for us to get back to trading? on: May 23, 2020, 09:29:15 PM
Some days I have seen price movements in the market some altcoins have moved again to raise their prices higher, whether the market price movements especially for altcoin have started to improve, because some traders of course still have a lot of trauma to return to trade, because there may be a lot of losses from a number of traders who have experienced a very deep decline, and for example we did not return to start trading, when else can our losses recover soon, I ask for advice and opinions with the big traders here?
Its always good time for you to start or get back into trading, the price increase is not really important in trading the price movement in short term matters and its very much possible in everyday with crypt crypto currencies. So get into trade and start to analyse the market before executing your trade order.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: May 23, 2020, 07:46:18 PM
I am not a fan of slot game because my luck is really bad while playing slot game where as in dice its like equal win and lose compared to number of bets so as others saying it depends on the individuals. But while playing online both games have the same fun level where as in physical slot machines are more fun while comparing with dice.
1360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: May 23, 2020, 05:41:33 PM
The main mistake of a trader is to hope for luck and trade manually Cheesy Cheesy
Trade manually is still the wise choice for any occasional trader but if they trade without making any analysis then it is not going to work in the long term. Biggest mistake of a trader is aiming big margin in a single trade, whereas the smart trader only aim for small margin and they can repeat the same method to make the same huge amount of profits with very low risk.
