1341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 15, 2023, 10:11:00 PM

It's worthy to note that gamblers obsession to making profit at all cost through gambling is part of the many ways that have led to gambling addiction among gamblers.

Not only that, for worst in the long run its where the odds are more and more profitable for the casinos, the more you play the more you lose.

So again i repeat forgot that utopic idea of make steady money in the casino.
1342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On Ordinals: Where do you stand? on: May 15, 2023, 10:07:04 PM
Until tomorrow the next spammer decides otherwise.
What if I told you that your transactions are complete trash to my disk space? They're not very different to Ordinals from my perspective. I haven't made them, I don't earn a 'toshi by keeping them, and I even have to be more generous with my fee rate because of them. May I propose similar to you, or shall we accept that freedom is more important than a bunch of extra data chunks?

Man maybe in the whole pic you can have good arguments but WTF its this?.

So BTC for what was invented? YES to make transaction and develop a new way of money where it not rely on goverments, etc etc.

NO to put images/NFT in the blockchain, they can YES, but that wasnt the main objetive.

Dont lose the objetivity man.

Its like the grapich card issue, for what were made it? For playing games , to render etc, NOT for mining and of course you can MINING with them but that wasnt the main objetive.

How it ended? Yes the manufacturers ended up capping the cards. Im not saying this its gonna do in BTC but you can see how the main reason prevail over a post temporal function.

And before you say something, YES you know much more than me in term of BTC, dev, programing etc, im a fucking newbie, but that isnt relevant here. This its more a philosopic discussion than a technical one.
1343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best and worse slots on: May 15, 2023, 08:31:14 PM
I have been playing a few slots lately and have had some good winnings but nothing huge yet. Most of the YouTube gamblers I watch have been playing Sweet Bonanza, so I tried it first with a minimum bonus buy of $20 and sometimesi got into the bonus after few normal spins. The maximum win I had was x7 which is x700 on the game.
I also tried Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush, and Sweet Bonanza Xmas, but I didn't like any of them. I don't know if I just got used to Sweet Bonanza or if there are other better slots out there. Could you please recommend a good slot with bonus buys and low cost, if possible?

Personally for now I would put Sweet Bonanza as the best slot and Gates of Olympus as the worst one as i never had any winning session with more than 10 bonus buys.

Man, take this like an advice, NEVER follow this kind of things on Youtube, the mayority of them are fixed to show you they win, or they play with money that its not of them, so take care about it.

About your question, doesnt exist a better or worst in reality, only exist in our heads, but after saying this you can also search in what you find more comfortable to you.

For example if you want to win big use more high volatility slots than medium or low volatility.
1344  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 15, 2023, 07:19:39 PM
Yes.. "we" should follow ur strategy, no?

this is reality.

Whoa..... Not sure about that idea.... Dressing to impress does not seem to fit particularly bitcoiners... .. and it seems that several of our WO regulars have already pointed out the uncomfortableness in your representation of how "a bitcoiner" might present himself.

Another matter is that bitcoin is largely for everyone.. even though there may well be some depictions in the "meme world" that resonate with some of us more than others.. especially since currently we are in a world in which not too many folks actually realize that bitcoin is for them.. and for their enemies, and they hardly have any clues about bitcoin, even if they might well have some strong opinions about what is bitcoin and how it might fit into their lives (it doesn't tend to fit into the lives of very many normies, at least not yet).

Yes, if we follow the idea of the"new tech millionarie" no one of them dress in a "good" or classy way. And you know the apple does not fall too far from the tree, and BTC its related to tech.

About the survey of the thread, i think 2023 for the bull run its over, i still believe 2025 its the year. What do you think?
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On Ordinals: Where do you stand? on: May 15, 2023, 05:06:16 PM
I dont know why so many people still opose to the idea of "fixing" thebug, exploit, or whatever you want to call it.

The idea of now we are safe because they run out of money its very silly, what if tomorrow they charge with more power?.

Its like we have a gate in the wall open but how me know when they enter the city we can win we dont close that gate. Totally stupid, close the gate and you dont have to battle.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 15, 2023, 03:59:22 PM
I think we need to close this thread, the OP receive all the information he wants, also you can check in his history of post, he make a few of this kind of post asking the same but in other ways like :

Where can I invest 4k bitcoin
To make profit daily 100$

Any suggestions inside crypto or any other field

Is copy trading worth it

Can I make 20$ per day if I have 2000$

So this guy its clearly seeking a way to make easy and steady money without effort.

So in the end he its not interested in learn he only wants easy money (like alls).
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST TIMEZONE FOR SPORTsBETTING on: May 15, 2023, 02:05:19 PM
I have never considered the influence the time zones can have on ones participation in sport betting, but it makes sense, since the major leagues and matches usually take place in fixed countries or collection of countries and there will be inevitably time zones which are more favorable than others. I assume that those living in very extreme time zones and need to get up early in the morning to work, do not have much options, beyond watching their matches in repeat or just see the summaries of the games they betted on.

In my case, I live in -4, and I can agree that it is favorable, we can watch American sport leagues, South American ones and European ones without staying up too late at night or waking up too early in the morning.  Tongue

Well you seem the only one who understand the topic.

I cant believe what you are answer here, obviusly you can still betting on pre market matchs and no matter the timezone, im talking about specifically if you want to see, enjoy and bet in the lives markets. How can it be so difficult to understand?.

For example if you live in Australia some games of European football are at 2/3/4AM of Australia, so you only can see and bet IN LIVE MARKETS if you are:

1) a degenerate gambler with an addiction.
2) No life and no job to wake up early in the morning.

ITS EASY TO UNDERSTAND THE POINT.

1348  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: mined blocked with 11 BTC on: May 15, 2023, 01:40:10 AM
Is there a connection between brc-20 tokens and miners? Maybe it's the big miners who finance the brc-20 projects.
Now the commissions in the bitcoin network have already fallen, but the miners managed to make good money.

According to the crypto data analytics platform Dune Analytics, the daily minting fees on BRC-20 hit a record high of 247 BTC on May 7. The value shows that the fees reached their highest level in two years.
https://www.bitcoininsider.org/article/214178/brc-20-meme-coins-frenzy-spikes-bitcoin-network-feesм

I dont think so, every miner i know and i think the whole miners only do miner things, they dont get involved in much more, they dont give a shit about BRC-20 or tecnical analysis or whatever other thing related to BTC or cryptos , they only make their work, nothing more and nothing less.

They only do basic maths following the BTC price and follow the new miner machines and with that calculate their ROI and how much they need to buy more or new equipments.

Obvisuly they read the news but i dont think they get involved.
1349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 15, 2023, 01:18:32 AM
yeah marvel fell into the Disney black hole like star wars did.

too bad.

A surprise decent sequel was the new shazam.

The first was a C- or C , but the sequel was a good B or B+

It is rare that a sequel is better but sometimes they are better.

I think its pure fault of shit companies who only wants to make tons of money in a short span of time, its quailty or quantity you cant do both.

So they start with some few good ones and after that they make 8123718237182 movies in 5 years, and clearly this last movies are gonna be shit.

Its like in games, for example Need for speed throwing 2 games per year ten years ago, and yes man clearly they are gonna be a shit, and they kill the whole saga.

How are the good ones? making only a few well made with a good span of years between one and the others.

In movies for me Nolan trilogy of Batman still unbeaten (talking about comic based movies), why? because was really good made and without external shit pressure and with 7 years b etween the first and the last.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / BEST TIMEZONE FOR SPORTsBETTING on: May 14, 2023, 10:04:40 PM
Like the Subject of the topic says. For you what time zone its the best for Sportsbetting?.

For example i dont think european zone its the best, its one of the best but not the better of alls.

For me to see the events, having a life and also betting in life without having to wake up in the early morning its......

-3 or -4 time zone.

For example you can have the whole european games trought the day, you can also see the NBA in the evening (you cant make this in Europe timezone, most of the games are like 3/4 am).

One last thing, i know every country have your sports but im talking about the more bigger and common ones, not come and say... "oh but you cant look the Eritrean league of football" Or "the armenian league of Teqball".

So in resume for me its:

- Best -3 or -4
- Really good 0/+1/+2.
- Worst mayority of the pacific timezone +10.

Obviusly this its really subjetive.

Whiout Chartbuddy i only can think on Sound of silence song, this clearly was writing thinking on him.

And in the naked light I saw (Btct forum)
Ten thousand people, maybe more (users and posters on BTC W.O)
People talking without speaking  (people talking lots of things not realated to BTC price)
People hearing without listening (the same as above)
People writing songs that voices never share (bullrun and bear theories)
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence (the ausence of chart buddy)

1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: May 14, 2023, 06:01:25 PM
Really good for Feyenoord to again win the Eredivisie, the last time they win was in the 2016/17 season and before that one was really far behind in 1998/9, so if we see this number they cut off the gap between time spend to win again.

This its how you can start to develop a serious project, winning time to time, without big windows of time between wins. This make a team trusted and the players wants more to join the project, like happens in Ajax, when you join you know you are gonna fight for the tittle and for a surprise in europe. Now Feyenoord needs to do the same.

So congratulations and keep working!.

1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 12, 2023, 11:17:11 PM
They’re saying Chris Paul is done in Phoenix. Vegas currently has the odds on Chris Paul being with the Lakers next season. This wouldn’t surprise me at all as LeBron has always wanted to play with Chris Paul. I’m not sure having an injury prone Chris Paul on the roster with Anthony Davis will be great for the postseason. They’ll probably talk about it during tonight’s game.

Poor chris paul, he is a really good player but he cant win a ring. And Lakers... need to take care about the elderly of their player, Lebron its the King but he is now nearby to 40 years old, and Crish its in the same path. I know they have some youngers but its complicated this BIG players always want to play all the minutes they can, and we know how it ended, with a ton of fights between players, and capping the youngers.

About games, i think Miami - Boston its gonna be in the east the final. And in the west i dont have a clue, because between GS and Lakers, its just how sharp the splash brothers are what define the serie.
1358  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 12, 2023, 10:39:53 PM
the point for me is when after the halving.
Last time it started actually earlier than expected (not around eoy like usual).
We are now 75% through to the next Bitcoin halving.

HODL

How its possible this? how anyone can make such a poor graph? how can you use that scale? 10k to 100k in a little space? what a joke man, cant take that graph seriously.

Also what they coloured its not related, only paint in red a few bullrun but without correlation.
1359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The severity of the Ordinals Attack is increasing on: May 12, 2023, 02:47:17 PM

Based on my few years of experience on this forum, where supposedly we are all made of Bitcoiners, I really don't think there are that many people at all who use BTC. I'm not saying it's bad, but I'm active in gambling and I think I can know the same people who really gamble with BTC, the majority are just spammers.

Same in Bitcoin Discussion.

100% and in the gambling section that its really easy to see, you can measure that by the ammount of people talking divided by the ammount of people who really take part on pools, sahring bets , etc.

What you said about investment rather than currency I partially agree. For me BTC is like a remittance or wire transfer. I don't use it a lot compared to swiping my card or QR code or whatever. But for me depositing BTC into a casino, or sending BTC to some friend, or receiving BTC, or even shopping online, it can be nicer and cheaper to do, and for sure in terms of remittance, way way faster.

If you live in Asia try sending America or Europe some money or if you work abroad and send money home. Big big fees, big big delays, and sometimes stuck if the bank is a crap bank. It's definitely been useful for me as a currency, unfortunately I don't have enough to say investment, more like savings Smiley

Well, this its completly true, a lot of people have a occidental way (and its ok because they live there) to think and they can access easily to the banks international transfer etc, but in the rest of the world that its not easy, its really complicated depending on what country you are and also how much money and contacs do you have, in that part, crypto its very very useful to bypass that limitation.

the thing is.
those wanting to accumilate bitcoin now fear using the bitcoin network due to high costs.

it costs less now to wire transfer via western union than it does to remit via bitcoin. so people wont want to remit via bitcoin

those investing via trading wont want to withdraw coins from exchanges due to losing profits via fees

bitcoiners being told 'nothing should be done' to make bitcoin better, mitigate costs, avoid exploits, etc are being told this by people that love to offer other networks as solutions. these preachers are not bitcoiners.

Two things to say. First i think if you are gonna have BTC to accumulate, fees doesnt make a real problem, because if you have 20k usd pay 10 usd for withdraw or use them, its  not so bad (i know, i dont want to pay 10 usd but in the big pic its not big).

About your last point, this its like religion some people are ultra ortodox and dogmatic, but yes i think like you, those people doesnt know the harm they are doing.
1360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 11, 2023, 11:35:05 PM
just a thought:
there is a possibility that the next halving bullrun arrives later than usual.  almost everyone seems to expect a normally scheduled bullrun... and that alone should actually be enough of a reason for it not to happen.  On top of that we might face some medium-term price pressure from the US Gov. sitting on 200k BTC, and from some of the 140k Gox coins...

The 2021 bull market was expected after the halving and it did arrive. Halving was in May and in November we were already at a new ATH.

the point for me is when after the halving.
Last time it started actually earlier than expected (not around eoy like usual).

Are you saying that people weren't expecting a pump in 2020 after halving?

I'm saying that with every cycle it gets more unlikely that the bullrun follows the expected schedule with evermore people expecting said schedule.
You could already see that the last bullrun started a bit earlier, and that it had an almost double top. quite different from what most people expected.

So I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get what most people expect this time. But what do I know...

Man, i think you have reason but i have to say one thing.

One of the most important ideas in the markets and stocks is

" Never try to time the market "

And everybody try to do that, and in the long run they fall into the trap, i think it was WB who say, "Wallstreet makes money when you operate and lose when you dont".

So the less you try to catch the best point of bear to buy or the best point in the bull run to sell, better for you.

In a few words, just HODL and buy when you can, no more, and again DONT TRY TO TIME THE MARKET.

One more and last thing.

Poor chartbuddy, with the images dont working he cant share the price.
