Government too is to be blamed Sha cuz if you go all these government offices no workers yet they won't  employ fresh graduates .Na only God go help us

My brother e no easy oo, wattin man pikin don carry em eye see, naim make to some extent I nor dey too blame some kind boys wey dey put their hand for gambling wey dey provide quick money, thie one wey don tay pass naim be sport betting or any other gambling/casino some boys go tell you say na wattin dem dey use feed their self for school be that, some go even tell you say na wattin dem use buy car build house. The second one naim be yahoo yahoo, boys of now a days like to blow quick, dem no wan do hard work again na so you go dey see people wey never reach to get drivers license for road with benz, and the worse part of everything na be say dem no get conscience to pity those people wey dem dey lie dey collect their money. Then the worst of them all naim be ritual, I pitty those people wey go put their hand for ritual to take get money, either by killing their fellow human being or by making dem mad, normally dem self no say their life nor dey tay before e perish, so wattin be the nedx to get money wey you no go fit settle down spend well. I see this one as the biggest foolish decision wey man fit do.
1343  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: On security Nigeria died on: November 06, 2023, 01:20:26 AM
Exacts as e be na so you talk am, our security system now na shit, no be wattin citizens like us fit depend on because dem ready to kill citizens just to keep their reputation. Imaging waiting happen for 20th of October 2020 (10/20/20) when dem kill innocent citizens wey been dey do free and harmless protest to end SARS, no be say the citizen dem been dey use weapons oo, dem just send the military to shot our youth dem die just like that, and las las dem still try to cover up for their lie but, but we no go fit forget that incident. Because of that one I no go fit trust the security system again.
1344  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: It seems multitasking is the only way out of poverty on: November 05, 2023, 03:12:03 PM
My brother no be small thing oo, the matter for our economy big pass Watin mouth fit talk oo, person wet dey earn 60k now wey get family no ho fit use am do better for this country, only one pikin school fees na about 12-24 thousands for small private schools, and if we say make we look the other alternative which is government school, we know how the system be say dem nor dey teach well. So to me na to multitask ourselves be the solution, I know of person wet dey do night security work for two weeks inside one month, e still dey work for local government, e still get community chance for gas company. All these work na just for the person to fit survive with em family. Especially here for Lagos if you go to buy something for local store dem dey say dollar don increase, everywhere hard.

1346  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Do not invest in Bitcoin with a borrowed money on: November 05, 2023, 03:10:10 AM
The only reason I dey think say people dey invest for Bitcoin with borrowed money na because them be traders, and Bitcoin dey benefit holders pass traders, for main sense how person sef go think of to borrow money wey go get interest take invest for wattin you nor know wattin fit happen the next day, question like, what if the time wey the loan go due for payback na when the market dey for bearish movement suppose dey for the head, volatile nature of this coin and any other crypto no good for investment wey them start with borrowed money at all. The only exception wey I dey see for inside na when the market experience dip for the middle of the month and the person dey expect salary dem that person fit do am provided say e go pay back as the salary land.
1347  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Best way to invest in Bitcoin on: November 05, 2023, 02:58:18 AM
So many options to buy Bitcoin, you can decide to buy directly through exchange like binance or Coinbase. You can also make use of the Bitcoin focused investment vehicle like a Bitcoin ETF or like Grayscale Bitcoin trust.
One thing you must know when taking a decision to invest in Bitcoin .It's highly speculative investment.  That's why it's more advice able to invest the amount you are comfortable losing.as Bitcoin price go up and down this season by hundred of dollars.

When I first see the topic I been dey think say na buying strategy the op wan talk about buy to my greatest surprise na place to take buy the coin na the op com dey go talk about, op the thread for dey more interesting if to say you also add strategy to use to buy, as e be say no be every newbie naim sabi how to buy Bitcoin with strategy. Mostly na lump sum dem dey conversant with and this strategy no dey recommended for newbie as e fit go trigger emotional decision when the price don dey waka anyhow.

Op abeg take this correction, e no get anything like money wey person dey comfortable to loose, e no dey anywhere most especially when it come investment mata, I dey see plenty people for this forum sef wey dey make this same mistake. By right if you don do betta study about Bitcoin, you go know the possible merits wey dey for inside and by the time you fall in love with am you no go even mind to keep 70% of your total investment for inside, that is if you be long term holder. Even if na 10,000 wey you put as your investment, if the money loss for your investment way you do, e nor go pain you?(e go affect every body) because that money reach to take sub for one month. And beside that by the time you don dey dey very aggressive with you accumulation even if na DCA you dey do, small small drop of water turns to a mighty ocean, one day the money go Big reach millions sef.
1348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Out of curiosity, how much you wagered recently? on: November 05, 2023, 02:19:01 AM
I think we have a winner here:

Tyler “Trainwreckstv” a prominent Twitch streamer, has allegedly embarked on an extraordinary gambling journey, with a jaw-dropping $14 billion in bets placed on the online crypto gambling platform

I saw people wagering a lot of money, but this guy took it to some higher levels... How can we compete in some wagering wars and competitions against players who wager so much? Do we even have a chance? Smiley

That is a lot of money for gambling. Wow,I think making deposits to gamble $14billion in a stake.com is too risky, how the hell did he even think of doing that. Just as the reporter said, I will not doubt a sec if he is truly a Saudi Prince, I have seen people gambling with hundred of thousands of dollars but never heard of a billion dollar gambling. Having seen this post I want to ask do we call this gamble addition or just irresponsible? And the most shocking part of the news being that he has been doing this with some couple of millions of dollar.
1349  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: This idea go reduce our daily expenses. on: November 04, 2023, 07:13:50 PM
People wey dey complain about light for this electric bike, to me that one no suppose be problem provided say you don first buy the bike, other alternatives dem dey wey we fit take charge am apart from the use of NEPA light, besides na even DC current the bike dey use, upto 12volts and small milli current so only one solar panel sef fit do the charging well for the day. When it come reach the maintenance part for the bike I trust my country for that part, everybody don turn sef mechanic to do thier maintenance by them self but should in case e dey very complex to work out, you go fit see road side electronic repairer for the electrical part while road side mechanic for the mechanical part. Normally we fit do make that bike last well well for our hand but we nor dey like to read, Oyibo say if you wan hide very useful information from black man make you write am for book because we nor dey like to read, and this statement na true I don observe so many new equipment wey get manual but people nor dey like read am, we dey feel like say because we don get small experience about similar kinds so all go be the same working principle.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most you have ever lost in one session? on: November 04, 2023, 11:08:02 AM
What is the most money you have ever lost in one session? could be land base casino or crypto casino.

mine was $200,000 on Stake.com 2 weeks ago

This is indeed a huge amount of money especially when converted to my country's currency (Naira), loosing this amount of money shows that you take too much risk when it comes to gambling, no matter the value of your currency to USD, the is a large amount of money. Besides it's not advisable to display your financial info online a hacker might be around the corner observing and trying to break through you security.

If there is one thing I would like to forget, it would be all the losses that I have inquired in gambling be it on a single session or accumulative play sessions. For me, remembering your loses on a single session just makes the whole idea of playing gamble as fun a little bit harder than it is because whenever you actually want to play the grief of those losses keep playing in your head.

For your own money that you have lost , the amount is truly crazy and I don't think if I ever lost that kind of amount on a single, I can be able to live with myself although maybe the you have more than this that's why you are confident in even showing or remembering it.

You sound like someone going through a lot by the effect of gambling, even if you have not made such a huge loss in a single session, your bitter sound shows that you have made some huge losses too based on your own financial situation. Gambling losses don't have to be generally a huge sum before it affect our life to grief seriously, your grief is based on your financial situation.

I haven't made much losses in gambling reason being that, I gamble not because I want to win a very huge amount, but because I want to just test the result of my knowledge in sports, in making prediction, I gamble for fun.
1351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No advertisement for btc on: November 04, 2023, 10:26:28 AM
I was just reading this post and thought crossed in my mind that there has been no advertisement for Bitcoin. It's all growth has been natural, it's quite surprising if you think about it.
Yes, you are correct, Bitcoin has no advertisements, but there are companies that do advertise Bitcoin because it is part of their company activities. What I mean is that, those companies that do advertise Bitcoin or Bitcoin logos in their company manuals or whatever, might be using it as methods to pay their workers, mostly in an online company such as gambling, and online shops can easily pay their workers that are outside their country, just like how most casinos pay through Bitcoin pays their bettors through Bitcoin.

In support to you post, Advertisements can exist in several ways, it doest only mean that someone should be paid before he/she can advertise No! To my best of knowledge, teaching someone about something is a way of advertising, so those news we read talking about mostly the merits of Bitcoin, they are indirectly advertising Bitcoin by broadcasting its news to their streamer. The news might be based on the recent increment in the price of Bitcoin, from there one of their viewers might then engage in additional search, that would lead to adopting the coin. HERE are some new containing some Bitcoin street art by lovers of Bitcoin, this is also a medium of advertising.
1352  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Economy affects Bitcoin investors. on: November 04, 2023, 07:25:20 AM
The way the country dey go so, many people way put their minds to invest into Bitcoin based on how the country economy dey very hard so them just live to invest in Bitcoin and use their capitals take do other things wey them think say go help them immediately (wrong mentality)
Some of them way try to invest into Bitcoin earlier and with the help of the kind of strategy way dem dey use they accumulate freely before, now when things dey hard even those people self they find am difficult to accumulate more Bitcoin, e dey hard to get money and e still dey easy to spend am, so me I reason am outside the box say, this our country economy done dey affect the common people way just start to invest into Bitcoin.

Bro I thank God say you first use the word say the economy hard, so if person don get wattin dey very essential for life wey e need and e important pass Bitcoin at that moment make the person sef no even hesitate to package am, because na only who dey alive naim dey invest for Bitcoin oo, the dead no get any thing to do with Bitcoin. Bitcoin nor be do or die affair, normally our economy dey really dey affect Bitcoin investment, money wey person suppose to use take invest now the cost of fuel, food and living don high, the thing dey really dey touch everybody wey dey under the economy but that one no mean say we go come forfeit important things for survival go invest for Bitcoin, person wet do that kind thing go still sell em coin within short period of time to still settle those things wey e leave, so wattin come be the reason to stress our self for wattin we go still reverse.
1353  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The dollar crashes against the Naira, best time to fund via P2P and get some BTC on: November 03, 2023, 08:19:11 PM
Op it is advised that you lock this thread, because e never tay wey our baba dem been dey complain make we nor dey spam post for here, the thing dey bring bad name to our local board, I no say sometimes e fit be say you no do am intentionally but as e be say dem don tell you say this kind thread wey get same information already dey ground now e go good make you either delete or lock the thread. This same thing be don happen to me before and for my case I post am without knowing say person sef don drop that kind thread so wattin I do na to just lock the thread.
1354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FAIT or CRYPTO? on: November 03, 2023, 05:28:40 PM
Just as CryptopreneurBrainboss said fiat has nothing to write home about when it comes to investment, too much inflation affecting fiat, most especially my country's currency naira. 1 Worth of USD converted to my country's fiat in binance exchange is N898, so why the hell should I even think of investing in fiat when Bitcoin exist.
Some crypto are not worth investing in, especially when they are altcoin you have to be careful when dealing with such coins and tokens. Even if I'll be paid in altcoin, coin swapping would be ASAP to Bitcoin to ensure I'll not be a victim when the coin crashes. They say prevention is better than cure, it's better to avoid them than to say had it been I knew.
1355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin kwoledge is not complete without bitcoin investment on: November 03, 2023, 02:30:20 PM
I personally believe your use of the term "perfect" is not very good, because striving for "perfection" may well contribute towards newbie BTC hodlers/accumulators getting too worked up in a mindset that considers trying to time the market or other kinds of strategies to lower costs per BTC, and generally speaking it is not necessary to be perfect, but instead to be directionally correct by ongoingly accumulating BTC and accumulating within the boundaries of their own situations.  So if someone is new to bitcoin and they are building up their BTC stash, they likely just need to ongoingly accumulate bitcoin, perhaps in a variety of ways that mostly focuses on DCA in the beginning without screwing up their own personal budget in terms of making sure that they still have enough to cover their various expenses and any emergencies that might end up happening in their lives.

Okay, thank you sir for the correction, lesson learnt and from now on I'll be using the word aggressive rather than perfect when it comes to Bitcoin discussion.it gives me joy knowing that you have enough knowledge about Bitcoin to help the newbies and lower understand better and you never cease to make corrections where needed. I also like the fact that you talk about making investment/accumulating more coin based on the capacity the person can handle without disrupting their personal budget. This is one of the major reasons why lump sum is not the best strategy for beginners because after making such a huge or aggressive accumulation they tend to realize their mistake and then go back to sell their coins. Even when I made my first accumulation, it was a small amount I got from selling my unused phone and every since then I have been applying DCA until I get your idea of combining two strategy together.
1356  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Naira hits highest level since September 20th, trade as high as N972 on Binance on: November 03, 2023, 10:40:38 AM
E goo make naira self high because the cost of living depends on how much we dey ain as salary per daily, weekly and even monthly, at least, if naira dey at the normal rage way e been dey before, the cost of living go reduce small.

If naira gain more value pass like this the economy go truly balance pass the way e dey now, but that one no mean say everything go dey alright because majority of our problems na from leaders, because even when our economy be beta pass like this, one of dem just go intentionally close border say make we farm, but the thread no be to talk about dem so I go end there. Marketers sef get thier own wickedness for body, when price and economy sef dey try to balance dem sef nor dey gree bring price of things down. Dem go dey act like say dem be God especially when u no get another option. Provided say we dey get something for this forum and dem dey pay in doss, I know say this news nor dey too sweet our belle, but if we talk wattin dey for our mind as e be, e go com be like say we be selfish prick, but na the truth be that, anybody wey dey earn in BTC or currency wey high pass our own go dey pepe like this.

Just as Charles_Tim talk, this new nor go too last because, wattin dey drag our economy backward big pass watin dem just do so, until dem fulfill plenty back draw the country go dey the way e dey. Though this current CBN governor dey try, e don first remove FX restriction for some items before e dey do this one so, if e keep the good work up e go come dey left for the leaders to do their part.
1357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin kwoledge is not complete without bitcoin investment on: November 03, 2023, 07:36:45 AM
I would not necessarily recommend a strategy of just lump sum or just buying on dips for anyone who is new to bitcoin, but there could be times when such a strategy might be applied well for people who are in a position that they are able to consider that as an option...and surely sometimes people choose strategies that are not as good as they could be, and how much time that they have to attempt to think through some kind of a better strategy is going to vary... ..sometimes any of us could end up employing a strategy that we believe to be a good strategy, but then we might not realize that our strategy ends up kind of locking us into a kind of mindset that might not be as good for bitcoin as something that might involve consistent and ongong buying, even if their might also be some lump sum buying and some buying on dips in the mix of historical buys.  It can also take several years to develop a perspective on bitcoin for people who might not end up screwing up and panicking along the way...sometimes the screw ups might not be realized for several months or even sometimes years, it could take to realize that a different mindset and approach might have had worked out better.. which I think that having DCA as a central part of any strategy in the first year or two (at least) is likely going to be helpful in terms of putting the BTC HODLer/Accumulator/investor in a good state of mind towards their bitcoin and their ongoing BTC accumulation and perhaps considering their transition into BTC maintenance at some point in the future.

Well said @JJG, practicing just lump sum or buy the dip by newbies isn't advisable by me also, as they may panic easily when a very large amount of their fiat has been used to purchase Bitcoin while the market goes bearish or sidways, I recommend all newbies to start with DCA and when they are comfortable making some series of accumulation without any stupid emotional decision then, they can start using some other strategies which suites them, like mixing two different strategy to make a powerful one, consistency creates perfection, so what every you are doing consistently you get perfect at it, so someone can get perfect at doing the wrong things and making wrong choices and he might still think he is successful why if only he'll make some changes could lead to more successful outcome.
1358  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Few tips for beginners on Bitcoin thread on: November 02, 2023, 10:58:46 PM
Op its true what the other members are saying, your account was created on the 15th of last month and you are still a newbie, but here you are giving advise to other newbies, tho it's not bad to give quality advise but I suggest you learn more so as to improve you post quality with enough information for others to learn from, so you'll easily get the merit you desire to rank up and get attached to a signature campaign.

- start with something you can afford to lose .

As an investor I am not satisfied with that statement, there is no such thing like money that we can afford to lose, except your money is not hard earned or you are a gambler who takes some stupid risk with very high expectations, every tiny bit of our currency is not worth loosing for any thing, even if you start with 5k naira, it could sub you for a whole 2weeks and that enough data to get you more knowledge about Bitcoin, you are not the first I have seen make this mistake, even some top ranked members in this forum also make the same mistake. Our people say 1+1 na two, any thing wey u fit add to that one wey you get go count as something added to the system.
1359  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin fraudulent activities in Nigeria on: November 02, 2023, 10:28:34 PM
Actually no be our own bad pass, other country dey way dem nor dey even pity their victims, dem go just hack very important data from their target then start to dey black mail dem to pay some huge sum of money, make e nor be like say I dey carry talk anyhow click HERE you go see how frequent wey news dey carry Russia their matter for head because their hackers na dead. Dem get very good programmers wey sabi hacking, na even from dem I get the info say dem dey use some kind links wey u go just click take inject some virus into your system, and from there dem go bill you to pay some amount of money before dem go send you antivirus wey you go use take remove the virus, most of their target na for things wey get beta monitory value, naim make dem dey always dey advice make we nor save our private key for any thing wey dey use internet connection.
And all this crypto scam issues na why I dey always advise make any body wey won enter so beta reading and study before em start, person wey learn about Bitcoin and crypto well no suppose make any silly mistake to go store em private key for phone or laptop.
