1341  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 15-Nov-2017] on: November 21, 2017, 02:54:50 PM
I'm not really sure why Zigger campaign is on CFNP category, as I just checked the thread there is no one confirming about the 1st week payment (for those who are selected for btc payment). Shouldn't it be on PNYC as there is no payment confirmation so far both from the manager and participants. I also checked the spreadsheet and tried to see the btc address of those who are eligible for payment, but I dont see any payment on those addresses recently.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

Once it will accept again new participants it will be in the PNYC list. Once it will pay participants it will be in the active or flux or CFNP depending from the situation.
People trying to join campaign will look for the active one then PNYC then flux. It is frustrating to find closed campaigns in the PNYC.

i still dont understand how i accumulate activity... how long will it take for me to get activity level to 30 ?

Next Tuesday, a new period will start so you can get 14 additional activities so you can have a total of 28 activities then after 14 days which mean in Tuesday 05 December you will have another 14 activities which allows you to pass 30 activities So you will become a junior member. (same thing goes for member but when you reach 60 activity...etc)
1343  Other / Meta / Re: BANNED FOR LOW QUALITY POST,BUT I CAN'T START NEW,WHY? on: November 20, 2017, 06:04:42 PM
I did post more at the off-topic section, but it was not all that much( not up to 1/3) of my post count. And more to the point,I never knew that answering some questions in that section required "quality" post. All am asking is for them to consider me in either way since I have leant my lesson.

If you are banned for a period of time then you have to wait. If you are permanently banned then oh boy, try to join r/Bitcoin (reddit) maybe?

Edit :
Cool. That time frame is 'till the heat death of the universe. Afterwhich you can come back and post again.

1344  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-20]Mark Karpeles Is Going To Revive Mt Gox Through ICO on: November 20, 2017, 05:58:31 PM
Mark Karpeles trying to escape and close definitely the Gox disaster. With the actual Bitcoin price, he can pay everyone and keep a good amount tho.
For the ones that will follow the Gox (coin maybe?), do not come and cry later.
1345  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: November 20, 2017, 03:57:51 PM
Two questions -

1) The first post here in this thread shows 60 activity for member, and yet the other post 70 activity. Which one is current?

2) Am I understanding this right: if someone makes a million posts in 1 day (hypothetically of course), they will remain a newbie.. however if they then make just 1 single post every 2 weeks after that, their activity will go up by 14 activity per 2 weeks instead of just 1 activity? Is that correct? So it could be said posting more than once per day is not useless.. if you plan to post less than this at a later date (provided you make at least one post every 2 week period).

Thanks.

1- 60 activity to become a member. And since the activity increases by 14 then once someone reach 60 he can advance in activity to 70 (14 activity x 5 periods)

2- you only need to make 1 post per period to have 14 activities. But remember once this post is deleted you will loose your activity for that period so it is wise to make several posts in different topics and subs each period

1347  Other / Meta / Re: Homework : count how many alts the OP has on: November 19, 2017, 09:37:28 PM
Thanks for your responses and I think as joel_jantsen said that there is an "army" behind this manipulation. It is hard to say if these newbies are an alt of the OP (could be a group obviously) or a "mercenary" group paid to spam the topic with fake posts in order to keep it on top.
I see that there is actions taken by admins/mods but i/we would like to have more informations if possible.
And if there is paid groups then patrols you have to double triple your efforts Wink

Is there a signature campaign that is going for the long run? It seems all campaigns nowadays are just for ICO's and end after some weeks. It's not worth to invest time into this when it ends so fast.

Pretty much no new campaign until now is planning to do this. In the list few campaigns are running for +1 year. The vast majority run for 2-4 weeks then it will close or pause without resuming.

Too bad. I would prefer a set and forget campaign type. Which campaigns are running since a longer time already and have no enddate as of now?

No one would know when a specified campaign will stop, sometimes even the manager doesn't  Wink
In the closed one : crypto-games/news/FortuneJack/nitrogensport/yobit (some of it opens new slots when someone is kicked or left)
In the open one 777/bitvest
And there is those 2 campaigns which could accept special members : coinroll (old one, ask yahoo if you want to apply/he is not the actual manager*) and ChipMixer (not that old but well managed and seems will run for a long term)
1349  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: November 19, 2017, 09:15:55 PM
interesting read, i wondered how to rank up or more specifically at which point i can lvl up the member status. thanks  Wink

Member = 60 activity.
Each 14 days you will gain another 14 activities (if you make posts during that period of course).
So, next Tuesday you will have a total of 28 potential activity then Tuesday 05 December you will gain another 14 activities so a total of 42 then Tuesday 19 December you will have a total of 56 potential activity then in Tuesday 02 January you will have a total of 70 potential activity and once you will pass 60 activities you will become a member.
Here you will find when the periods start https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/htmlview?pli=1

I am not very active in the alternative cryptocurrencies sections but I saw this topic (below). I am not an expert but when you create a shitcoin token, it needs to be listed in the exchanges, no? You need to make a clear project...etc
In this topic for example https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2404416.0 which I assume there is a dozen similar to it, you don't have details, the OP is requesting donations in order to be listed in the airdrop...then you find newbies (mostly) indicating (repetitively) good project (how could they judge it!) and to the moon (to the burning sun exactly).
So the homework is the following :
1- count how many spammers.
2- count how many (potential) alts the OP having.
3- shouldn't we prohibit at least these kinds of projects from asking for donations before joining the airdrop? It is prohibited in the forums afaik! Same rules normally should apply since they are asking for donations!
1354  Economy / Services / Re: SR: Looking for Signature Campaign or inactive signature wearer? on: November 19, 2017, 03:58:25 PM
OP, yes there are campaigns like that needing inactive members. You can check nexchange here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2178080.0

He is searching for a signature campaign which accepts an inactive user. Since 99% of signature campaigns and bounties requires more than 10-15 posts per week, it seems hard for him to be accepted.
The only solution is to wait for a signature campaign without minimum posts.
Making a post here will not likely helps you OP. Good luck.
Why are you hiding your current campaign from him because that's exactly what he wents as your campaign is on inactive accounts.

Hiding? Hiding what while i am wearing the signature and there is a dedicated place to find all the signature campaign... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
Nexchange isn't currently open nor closed, the manager isn't active and didn't choose anyone from a while.
And if you take a look on the un-updated spreadsheet you will see that not everyone is getting paid so even if they indicate that you don't require a minimum posts that will not guarantee that you will be paid  Wink
1355  Economy / Services / Re: SR: Looking for Signature Campaign or inactive signature wearer? on: November 19, 2017, 01:41:31 PM
There are many signature and bounty campaigns currently open for members, you should try to apply in multiple campaigns so that one of the managers will accept you.

How can I increase my ranking to Jr. member?

Stay here to 1.5 months and send posts.
I think it's about 30 days ( 1 day = 1 activity ) but it needs 42 days to the turn updating the activity points.

14 activities per 14 days (per period)

1359  Other / Off-topic / Re: Electric cigarette yes/no/maybe? on: November 18, 2017, 12:09:55 AM
I personal think that it's bullshit, but there is a few stories of people who was smoking for 10 years and with electric cigarette stop smoked. I'm a smoker and i would like to stop that's why i need your advice.

Normally, there is alternatives to cigarette that will help you to stop getting cancer and a heart attack smoking, you need to see a doctor if you can't stop it alone.
Btw, asking to stop using a knife to make a wound in your body and replacing it with a pocket knife will not help you making your body recover...
And, try to invest the cig price in bitcoin (or altcoins) it will help you buying a home in the future Wink

I wanted to know how to increase my signature characters.  LOL

You need to wait until your activity increases and get to the next ranks.
This is an alternative solution here, read the post of theymos carefully https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.0
Good luck
