1341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling house responisbilty to protect people data on: October 30, 2022, 07:44:02 PM
Ideally, gambling houses should not disclose the identity of the person who won big without first asking him. Unfortunately, this is not respected always.

Those gamblers who do not want their information to be public, but the gambling houses make their names public, can go to the court of law as this is a serious offense. Gamblers can claim damages to the gambling site on this basis. Do you think gamblers should take the help of courts in this case ?
This is usually be found on Terms and Conditions or something like that and this is why its relevant that you should be reading up this thing but if you cant find about privacy disclosure or something in related then
you could directly ask the team on whats their taking when it comes to this manner whether they do have the rights or totally be protecting their winners privacy or not and then take a screen shot as an
evidence for them not to have an excuse if ever they would be making out alterations. If you are that confident on making big wins on the site then it would be relevant that you would really be
asking it out earlier just to clarify out in regards of your identity protect in case of a huge hit or winning.
1342  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: October 28, 2022, 07:21:49 PM
Thank you for the great effort you made in creating this topic, for me I do not like to take risks so I always choose Top Ten coins in the market to put the largest part of my capital in, I do not like to risk big numbers so I use these top ten coins because they are guaranteed in the future , while I am risking a small section of my capital in shitcoins with lots of zeros (there is a good chance it will multiply many times) and when it goes up a little I sell it and make some profit.
There's no such thing about guaranteed and if we do look and compare out on those coins who had sit out on top 10 rankings then it did really make out some change and as op had been said that
some coins/projects didnt really able to make it on which it might be listed on top 10 in the past but eventually sits down on the lower ranks after further years.
If we do speak about risk taking and does have that money to spend or invest on and holding for long term years then it would be depending on someones choice.
If you could able to put up funds for long years then its good but we should be wise on the time that prices is considerable enough for us to make a sell
so that you wont really be ending up on holding for too long or waiting up.
1343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market likely over? on: October 27, 2022, 11:10:10 PM
I don't think it's over. We're still in a bear market. I think these kinds of rises are to deceive us. In the bear market, you need to turn to other things. It makes me happy to earn something more or less with methods like testnet, airdrop, where we can earn free money. This is how I can spend the bear market efficiently and happily.
We're in the bear market. The price movement have turned good crossing $20k. Maybe for some time period this can move within the range of $20k to $21k same as it happened within $19k to $20k. As you've mentioned about the testnet airdrop, very few were getting eligible against a huge number of people's participation. So, everywhere luck have got its role.
Im not that confident yet we had been testing out 21-22-23k resistances for a while now and eventually been rejected and failed on having a break out and then suddenly the price had gone down again back on 18k
which im not really that much excited if this is totally the turnaround of the trend that we are currently experiencing.Bear market is over? We cant tell until we do see on breaking several resistances above.
The best thing to be done into those short traders is to make use of these movements to secure out profits and assure it.For those long term holders then it wont really be that much of an issue
nor a mindful thing for you to be in concern since you wont really be that caring nor be stressed at all.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino with an online and offline branch. on: October 27, 2022, 10:19:43 PM
It goes down to cost and profit it's easier to set up online casinos nowadays the cost of running online casinos is not even half of the cost of setting up and running land-based casinos, they will have to buy or rent a building, hire personnel get clearance from the local and they will be subjected to a lot of inspection, like sanitary and fire, with online casinos, they only need a few stuff, buy Whitelabel subscribe a very good hosting and it will not be half of launching land-based casinos.
In terms of profit, it's more profitable and easy to manage online casinos than land-based ones, which is why we don't see online casinos with offline branches.
If we do talk about cost on building neither offline or online then we could really see the differences on which it would be insensible for those offline casino owners to create online if they could really generate much profit on their current physical casino. They might be having some reconsiderations but it would be unlikely.Just like on what been said on early pages that they won't really be likely on hassling themselves on having multiple platforms to operate and would rather focus on single platform. If they could bare out with the expenses and the budget then go ahead but if not then they would rather be sticking on where
they had rooted themselves.Handling both things couldnt be that simple yet it would be requiring more staffs and other things needs to be complied.
1345  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: October 27, 2022, 08:15:08 PM
-
True and no more exhausting trip on the way home which almost feels like death for me everytine I logged my time off and cannot do anything else that I would love to do.

Sadly, many companies are now going back to onsite working due to post pandemic situation we have now and some workers might not see the benefit of being able to work remotely soon though there are pros and cons to both anyways.
Cant really deny which there are really having con's when you do work remotely. One is having that social interaction with co-workers or even with your manager in times of some difficulties or something like that.
Its true that it is really that a big convenience when we do work in the convenience of our home but there are people who do really love to commute and having interaction with other people or simply
does really seek out for some ambiance and not just on their own home. When pandemic hits then this had been the standard which most people been working from home but now
that we are gradually going back to normal then people do really start on working into those typical and daily commutes. Smiley
1346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My exorbitant lessons in last bull market on: October 27, 2022, 10:36:32 AM
2. Friends told me that Vitalik have promised Proof of Stake on Ethereum for years and it never came to past, I believe them and invested in Eth mining equipment, I am now selling to gamers since they are not profitable, not even a bit.
One of the many reasons why doing our own research first before executing is the best, by this way, we don't rely on someone so at the end of the day, we will not blame someone because they say so.
For sure, these will be your lessons, it's normal. A lot of people already experienced this especially me last 2018 bull run and I applied my learnings after that.
All of us who are already old into this market did really make out some learnings out of those experiences back in the past. Its impossible that you would really be making yourself not able to learn those things in the past.
You would be surely aware on how this market works and we would really be applying it on further more years to come.We cant make out precise decision from time to time but at least we do already have the glimpse on how this market behaves and does have the idea on what you would gonna do.Unlike when you are still a noob where you do really have lots of questions along the way but you would eventually
able to seek off those answers for yourself and make use of those learnings to sustain yourself.
1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win so big on: October 26, 2022, 11:14:29 PM
Second, will you use this money to upgrade your lifestyle i.e living big and showing off, even relocating to a better environment and forget about your old friends in your former neighborhood ? Or will you just remain quiet, happy and living a your normal way of life but investing the money into something profitable without telling anyone ?
I would definitely cashout that sum of money and invest in a piece of land, so I could start building a productive countryside property. With 50,000$ it's possible to acquire almost 30 acres of land in a desert area, what means a lot of potential for different kinds of activities, from farming to tourism, so I really can't keep risking this money gambling while it could be much more worthful if used to invest in something productive. Someone should never hold fiat on his hands for too long. Invest it as soon as possible, because each day you hold fiat, its value fades continuously through your fingers.
Real estates in short on which this is what im eyeing to buy as much as i could and since its expensive then i dont really have the chance on owning lots but if i do have the chance on winning big amount on
gambling then i do know my priorities but since i dont gamble that much this is why i dont really expect that i would really be getting this kind of situation on hitting big but if given a chance
and would be that lucky on winning big then i would definitely be spending it on investments physically and leave a small amount to be played again on
gambling but not really that much.

1349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Throwback: Bitcoin was $64k today, a year ago. on: October 26, 2022, 09:21:48 PM
I remember those days like it was only yesterday. I'm surprised it's been a year. I think it's normal to drop. The value of bitcoin could not be expected to increase continuously. After each value increase, there will be a decrease. But such a drop came as a surprise, since everyone thought that bitcoin would reach the value of 100,000 dollars. The value of bitcoin will remain at the 20,000 dollars levels for a while longer. I don't think there will be a rise for at least another year.
Currently the bitcoin price is starting to strengthen above $20,000 and this proves that BTC is still strong enough to survive and continue its journey. When bitcoin hit ATH to $64,000 I expected the market to drop soon, but this year's decline was a pretty strong drop and crashed to hit the $17,000 support. It will take some time to hit the new ATH again, but Bitcoin will definitely hit it, now is a good time to buy and hold it for the long term.

Huge drop indeed, but Bitcoin remains at the level where it left off from its past ATH for 1 year. That alone indicates that Bitcoin is in no doubt gonna bounce back stronger. It will definitely hit a new ATH, it might hit the 6 digit figure as well.
Bitcoin is most likely going to have another run late in 2023 or somewhere mid 2024 or after the Bitcoin halving. The 4 year cycle will break the bear.

We are all indeed having those kind of hopes considering that we've seen on what happened on the past which it would really be that we are that optimistic when it comes to this.
The thing we do have in mind is that if we do able to sell into that peak then we indeed make a profit and buy later on when the price hits low ones.It cant be avoided and even myself
do always have these kind of thoughts that if we should have known that the market will correct this low then i might already had sold up my holdings into those particular price point.
Lets just wait but we dont know on how long it would taken up for us to recover or seeing these new ATH.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A disheartening true life winning story on: October 25, 2022, 10:43:48 PM
what a bizarre and unusual case
lotteries make a lot of money, why they'd refuse to pay? would totally break confidence for future games.

let's hope justice stays in the side of the guy who won...
One winning payment decline would really be over for their business which people would flock away because they do already have that bad reputation. Its totally over.
They might be able to get out of the situation but the reputation that had been tarnished would really be permanent and this is where they do really end up
on closing if there were people wont be putting up their bets.
Its impossible that they wont really be able to pay up winnings considering on how many and how big amounts that they would accumulate overall.
If they refuse on paying up the winnings then they shouldnt have run a lottery on the first place.
1351  Economy / Economics / Re: Not financial advise. Just an example. on: October 25, 2022, 10:07:30 PM
- Aren't you the one who owes five credit cards OP?
Then now, you know the advice that can be given to you here in this forum on what to do so that you don't get in trouble, am I right?

In my honest answer, I don't know what to do in such a scenario, because I don't have a credit card and I know that it's not good to have a credit card because you'll end up in more debt.
For sure its his credit cards and this is really something a pit fall for those who do make out bad spending or not really that eager on paying up their credit cards. Cheesy
I do already have a trauma on using up these cards yet i do have bad experiences with these but eventually you would really make yourself learn on spending wisely
once you had realized that it shouldnt really be spend up so easily.
Back on the topic made out by OP then short term duration loans or credits with having less interest might be look up ideal but making up some calculations
it would really be just the same into those long term ones which does have lesser % which these banks wont really be putting you on the easiest path imho.
1352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: October 25, 2022, 09:36:14 PM

It is a natural submissiveness if we look at the history of the decline that occurred after the ATH in the previous period. If you count in percent it may be almost the same. Perhaps today the differentiator is the problem of a bad world economy. The world economy will be difficult when the World Bank raises interest rates, but countries cannot get income. It makes the flow of money to crypto may go down because they prefer gold Or even they are sipping the stable coin to wait for the best moment to re-enter the market.

New normal, all costs will remain high and charged to the taxpayer.
One scenario has played out differently in years past, the miner situation and macro are concerning.
Leaning toward a 2018-style capitulation historically, this is a good entry point
Worst case a fifty percent drop from ATH 2017, that’s a risk. Reward, one thousand percent in a few years. I’ll take that risk.

Not really that bad on being hopeful, whether you do believe about thousand folds or 1M/BTC or something like that to happen then its your choice. All the things we've been dealing should really be accompanied out
with certain risk management which should really be in default. This market is unpredictable as always and there's no way that certain person could know on what the future looks like or what the future holds.
Speaking about investment then it would really be depending on someones risk taking on which it would really vary out whether you would take a certain risk on  investing or not.
No one knows on where the prices would be going but much sure that we arent that blind on not to see the potential basing up on history.
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you get over a bad loss? on: October 25, 2022, 09:06:48 PM
Eat and sleep.  Grin You can't do anything about it, there's no load point on where you could go return to a specific time so might as well swallow the truth that you loss and just sleep on it.
Don't even try to chase the loss as you may end up swelling the damage that was done. There are other things to do and it would be better to just focus on those to forget what happened.
its simple think but give huge impact to our psychology, while our mind refresh there is no more emotion thay could make us uncontrolled and careless with the game. Gamblers still easily influence by their emotion ,so thier mind only focus on how recover their money and forget about logical
We know that emotions would be always there which it could really affect peoples decision on the most simplest way which is really that depending on how someone could really be able to control up their emotions.
Some are good and some arent thats why we do see different decisions and actions to be made on various situations or events because there are indeed factors which could really affect out
our decisions and actions been made of.When we do talk about on how to get over on a bad loss then i do mostly be getting away from my pc and do some activity like playing up basketball
or just simply be watching out some TV just to ease up the frustration and disappointment inside. It wont be that simple but it is something a good way on distracting yourself.
1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Phone Mined Coins as the crypto infrastructure on: October 24, 2022, 11:13:12 PM

Yes its already happening, but do you think this will work out? Considering phones' resources while running such a blockchain.

Its been a while where these mobile phone mining does already exist but most of them are scams and since we are talking for some legit company then i dont see for these things to be feasible.
Mobile phones are for the purpose of sending out text messages or solely speaking about primary usage of it and involving it on mining which would really spending
up power and processes and i dont know if these things are hoax or just simply image manipulation just to make it look that you are actually mining but you arent.
I cant just trust up these kind of projects but if there's someone who do get interested then it would be your choice.
1355  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is anyone buying right now because they think we are at or close to the bottom? on: October 24, 2022, 09:35:57 PM
Bitcoin has decreased significantly. It was bull market before, then followed by a significantly bear market. What next after a significant bear market? Bull market would follow.

To achieve the result of full bull market may take time, you can also hold for long.
If you aim for huge profits in the future, of course you will take the risk investing in this bear market because it would be the best entry for investments. So buying bitcoin and long term hodling is the best thing to do because when the bull market turns over, it’s always bitcoin that will surge high and skyrocket compared to altcoins in the market because they simply follow the path of bitcoin.
Just to have some common sense then on what time or moment you would be considering on buying? When the market is going on ATH's? Its never been a sensible thing to be done.
Of course we would really be finding the cheapest price as possible and we could only make this these or decide to buy when the market is on bear mode or on dumping state which
we could really able to utilize these market conditions for us to get in on the cheapest price as possible.Once the market do make out some recovery then profit making
would be the next one. Believing of possible bottom? Majority been eyeing on 12-14k but it seems we arent that going that low.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A disheartening true life winning story on: October 24, 2022, 08:39:06 PM
This is a very sad story to me, which is why I ask these four questions:

Can this guy win the case?
Has anyone experienced not being paid for their winning for real?
Why would they take your big money but refuses to pay big winning?
What could be done to curb this cheating permanently in gambling?
Definitely he will win on this, he won the lottery and whatever happened on the data base of that company is not his fault, he won and he deserve to get the right reward. Now that company will pay more because of this.

They refuse probably because of insufficient funds or they have no plans to pay at all.

Report to the authority and it’s good to file a case against them. As long as you have the evidence you can win on this.
They shouldnt have run a lottery if they arent really paying to those possible wins.If they had lacked out some funds on giving the winning amount then they had just simply missed on putting up limits on how much
a winner could potentially win out on max manner or simply they arent really paying at all.Its true that as long that man does have the lottery ticket then it would really be a solid evidence
which he could really make some fight until the company would decide on paying him up.He do deserve those winnings and its just not a right reason for the company that there
were some internal errors because numbers had been published out then it would be considered as final.
1357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Education on: October 24, 2022, 07:43:09 PM
I think awareness is more important rather then education if a person knows there is something called crypto and there is Bitcoin which can be future money then the person Is going to Educate himself on his own efforts. Open up a college or institute to crypto and the neighbors don't even know there is something called BTC.

Dude agreed youth need be educated for the Crypto...
But
Awareness is the First step and Education second step.

Yup exactly. Education was needed for those who are negative, misinformed or uninformed, but awareness is perfect for those who didn't heard about Bitcoin, crypto, etc.

Like in my case, a college friend of mine reached out to me on what I usually do for a living. I just told him that I am into Bitcoin and crypto industry, and he asked me if it was really good or not. Meaning to say based on my assessment, he isn't aware about it. But I responded that it was really great and been doing this for 5 years without convincing or forcing him to check it out.

At least I let him aware. But if he wants to know more about it, that's where education comes next.
When curiosity kicks in then you would really be eventually finding yourself on tending to learn up new things which it would really be just a typical action to be made up by someone. We are not all knowing kind of beings
which there are really indeed things which we cant know.If we do speak about money making opportunity then people would really be that interested most of the time, specially if they do saw that we do possess out
things which you cant really be able to obtain when you are just working with those typical jobs.If people find out that you are really that making money which is more than or comparable into your
day job then it is really just understandable that people would really be getting interested and would really be tending to jump and learn on what you are involving into.
1358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to raise funding for trading? on: October 21, 2022, 08:08:34 PM
Somehow I agree with you, AakZaki. There is a burden that borrowers have to bear when they borrow money to trade or invest in crypto assets. Highly not recommended for anyone who does not have the ability and skill in trading, but even they will not be guaranteed to be able to repay the loan smoothly without problems.

Volatility is the most common reason why people shouldn't loan for trading, but if they have collateral, then I think it's safe for them to get a loan. In the long term certain assets will generate profits, but it is also not guaranteed when the time will come.
Votality is indeed the main problem why borrowing will be very risky. Borrowing from a bank is also related to the problem of time, because loan payments will be made every month, if you are late making payments there will be a fine that is billed. Even professional traders will be at risk if they make a large loan to the bank, because the market cannot be predicted 100%, there will be some possible failures. Loans also require collateral, and the collateral will be confiscated if they cannot repay the loan.
It is better to collect money from any source even if it is small, so that you can use those savings to trade with consistent profits.
When it comes to risk of getting a loan then it would really be that common and you should really be aware of that.Just like the rest been saying that people wont really be that dumb to grant someones wish on supporting some funding into his trading. As long you arent that giving some assurance on how you would be repaying them then its impossible that you would really be getting support.
This is why the best way is to make your current capital to become big via compounding which is the only way rather than on taking directly some loan.
Its never been recommended if you do ask me because it would really be just creating more problems specially if you have lost money on your trading.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win so big on: October 21, 2022, 07:27:03 PM
If I am very lucky to have won that huge amount then I won't stop gambling until I have or achieved what I wanted in gamblin.  To be honest, I am not always gambling if you want to ask if I always gamble or not. I gamble for a reason which is to have fun, entertained or similar reason and not because I want to gamble just to win huge amount but if that happen to me then that would be great. The reason why I would continue gambling is to continued why I gamble but I would only gamble the amount deposited and the $50,000 will be withdrawn which is already a win to start with and the deposited amount is what will be use to continue gambling.
Easy to say but actually its hard to be done because once you had won some big amounts then you would definitely be thinking that you would really be making some bets and believing that
you might able to pull out some another win which is really that a very common behavior of some people because they would definitely believe that making money with gambling is easy.
In my case then i wont really be that confident to say that i would eventually quit because it might really changed up along the way but there are indeed people who do have
really a good self control and discipline when it comes into these situations where they could completely stop if they do want or like.
1360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may drop to $15k or so but it'll definitely hit $300k+ in coming years on: October 20, 2022, 10:30:27 PM
Since we are in the Bear market, it is very likely that we will see 15 thousand dollars, maybe even below. I think we will see the 12 thousand-13 thousand dollar band. It seems difficult for a new ath to come this year. It is difficult to expect a new ath from the announced data and a market that acts accordingly. We may see a new ath in 2023 or 2024. The first target will be 100 thousand dollars.
People should at least be realistic when it comes to possible targets or prices do have in mind where 300k is too far off.Saying up realistically on how this market behaves or move then it wont really be simple
on achieving those numbers even if we do say about halving event.Yes, people are really longing for new ATH but it cant really be that an assured thing that it would really be happening.
There's always "What if's" in regarding on this one. We can drop and also we can reach up new ATH's. Market is unpredictable since from the first place which means we cant really make
out any conclusions on where it would be heading on future halvings to come.
