1341  Economy / Economics / Re: Central banks around the world want to get into digital currencies on: March 14, 2021, 10:09:29 PM
This is probably the case, because cryptocurrencies have been showing excellent results for several years now and are attracting more and more money. Banks are used to owning money and for them cryptocurrencies are a new niche that they definitely need to curb. However, there are a number of problems, for example, how to get the owners of cryptocurrencies to bring their cryptocurrencies to the bank? Maybe banks want to make their own cryptocurrencies? It seems to me that these issues are very important and banks are likely to influence the crypto market trying to take possession of all crypto assets.
I doubt that they mean to issue cryptocurrencies. Digital currency is a completely different thing. The fact that the initiative comes from the Central Bank already tells us that it won't be a cryptocurrency, it won't be blockchain-based, won't be mined, and will most likely be fixed to assets. It looks to me more like an attempt to take control over the situation. The banks probably see the advantages of the crypto and feel threatened, so they came up with a supposed substitution, which, they hope, people will buy.

That's what you called the CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency), so it is really tied up the actual assets of the bank. And it is already happening, like in China. And I believe, a lot of central banks are already into the exploration of CBDCs, because this will really help people move their assets much easier and maybe less expensive fees. So yes, they will form their own digital currencies but not cryptocurrencies. Remember they are banks, so this will still be centralized.
1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Mandalore] This is the Way To invest in Digital Asset on: March 13, 2021, 11:22:53 PM
Very little information about the project itself,it is not completely clear what its purpose is.I am also interested in the question of how to get acquainted with the team,I did not find any information on the site.

If they are offering top management advisory to blockchain related companies, they should disclose their team members. Because it is the only way to determine if their team is capable of delivering what they are offering. How do we know their expertise if the team members are not published? It also mentioned that they consist of very well-known marketers and influencers? Who are they? Can you name those individuals?
1343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people care who Satoshi is/was? on: March 13, 2021, 10:23:47 PM
Why do people care who Satoshi Nakamoto is/was? It's like wondering the name of the person that created the wheel. Sure, I suppose I would be curious about the name of the inventor of the wheel, if nothing else to raise a beer to them from time to time, but ultimately the wheel is the important part of the story.

For every major invention in the world, we know the details of its founder. But when it comes to bitcoin, we only know the name of the founder of bitcoin ,Satoshi Nakamoto.  But we do not know any further details about him and no one has seen him physically that's why everyone is curious to know this mastermind who created bitcoin.
A great idea of the times and an asset of high value but even as more people use it, people still don't know the author behind this curtain, it is really a funny thing and arouses everyone's curiosity, I also searched a lot about the founder of Bitcoin but only knew about the names Satoshi Nakamoto, it's not clear and specific then from time to time I give up this curiosity. The networks of countries are also unknown, we can not do anything except to accept, no matter the conspiracy behind, as long as bitcoin is still a gold mine, we will continue to participate.

It is really more of curiosity here. And I guess a lot of us really want to know the true identity of Satoshi. However, it seems that we don't know if he is still alive or not. And if he is still alive, it seems he prefers to have a quiet life. And in this regard, I will respect his preference. We don't know the real reason why he kept quiet throughout these years. Maybe in time, someone will uncover his identity. Til then, let us be contented for what we have right now and be grateful that he invented this technology.
1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERBID] SUPERBID - influencer auctions! (10 ETH PRIZE CHALLENGE) on: March 13, 2021, 09:31:12 PM
I think there have been many projects like this before, what new things will make this interesting? especially for investors
but for me personally, i am interested and want to learn more deeply.
I agree that the idea is not new,but so far it passes tests and it is still very early to judge.I also find it difficult to understand what exactly is unique and how to interest potential users.

Well basically it doesn't sounds new BUT what this project makes so unique is their plan to stick to easy adoption for non crypto users and reward those with supderbid. They become kinda like side investors cause superbid price is a cryptocurrency bound to the project which includes a burn mechanism.

The market potential is billion dollar

interesting, your statement makes this even more interesting, which I know that lately there have been many new projects that are not transparent especially for the team. here I see the transparency that has been built clearly makes people have no doubts about this project.

As many of you already stated that this is not a new idea, usually what they differentiate from others is the actual implementation of the project. Can they really attract influencers and use their platform actively? They have couple of partners on board already. That, I think is a good start. Looking forward how many big names in the industry can they attract to use their platform and how many will indeed participate in their auctions...
1345  Economy / Economics / Re: 'Cryptocurrency is not legitimate money,' says Nigeria's central bank governor on: March 13, 2021, 01:04:42 PM
I don't think their opinion is negative because most countries in the world don't accept crypto, although this situation has improved over the years as crypto offers value and economy for users and countries but apart from these positive benefits, fraud and illegal issues also revolve around crypto a lot, and the key to this story is deadlocked when the security of crypto is too great. If crypto is considered as legal currency, this situation will be more serious, governments of countries are never negative, they just want to protect their people
It is obvious that bankers will say negative things about crypto as long as they are outside of it and they will start saying positive things when they are in it, their talk is not repetitive of what they think, it is all about what will make them more money.

When they are out of it, they will say bad things because they are not making any money and on top of that losing money because of it so they will of course say that it is horrible even if they like it a lot themselves, and when they are in it they will say that it is awesome because crypto being higher will make them more money so they will promote it even if they start to think it's bad. This is why when there is a subjective opinion based on crypto it means absolutely nothing, but when someone powerful who can ban crypto says this would mean that crypto is doing bad in that nation for being banned.

I believe it is only a matter of time before he changed his perspectives towards crypto. Right now, maybe he doesn't even know how transact using bitcoin but once he get acquainted himself with crypto or btc itself, I believe he will change his mind and appreciate its technology. But for now, he is saying what is in his mind. They can say whatever they want, but crypto users know if this is real money or not. And being legitimate depends on the country right now. If the country is legally accepting crypto, then we can say it is legitimate. But if the country is banning the use of crypto, then it is illegal, right?
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][cTH] cheapETH - PoW L2 Ethereum chain forked from Ethereum mainnet on: March 13, 2021, 08:56:03 AM
You can change the choice of colors on your website. Not good for the eyes in my opinion. Also, regarding the price, I believe it depends on how the community will see this token in the market. I understand, the fee is very small as compared to eth network. However, where can they use this token for and where it will be available? If you can make this token available in most major exchanges, I think you can build your token to a good price.
1347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi & NFT tokens project on: March 12, 2021, 11:55:04 PM
That has become a norm in the crypto space for a while now. People just wait patiently to learn about the next trend and then start creating dozens of shitcoin projects while polluting the market with new influx of tokens that would hardly get any value aside from the hyped one. But eventually, you get to know which projects will stand the test of time.

Yep, i was hearing 'nft is the next big thing' since last summer  Roll Eyes

To talk a bit more about this 69m$ purchase : beeple is the nft artist, and buyer is known as 'Metakovan'. As stated in video, this person launched 'B20' currency, you can find it on Coingecko. No doubt he found a way to make people talk about nft AND make it's 69m$ purchase profitable  Roll Eyes

I'm not saying it's bad, too me it's 3.0 marketing  Cheesy And best part is... it works ! I'm french and i just saw this story on tv tonight, on the news !

The money pouring in NFT is really overwhelming. They also beat a lot of old paintings with such high price tag. If you are an art collector, are you willing to spend your money in this NFT art rather than real painting of a known artist? I would go for the latter. We know for sure, actual paintings increase their value thru time. However, with NFT, are we sure that they will be that valuable in the future, especially when everyone wants to get into this business?
1348  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after the pandemic on: March 12, 2021, 11:26:27 PM
This pandemic has a positive effect on cryptocurrencies especially on Bitcoin because people have realized the importance of digital currency and online transactions. People have learned to invest in it because they have seen how it could grow as a currency. I'm sure that more adoptions will happen even after the pandemic.
Not at all because considering on the economic situation then its hard to believe that people specially those ordinary ones would really make out some consideration on making out investment in times like this
where everyone is really on the pit of hardship since not all would really be having that stable job or able to retain up themselves on this crisis but somehow the market didnt really get that much affected
aspite of the crisis we are in but rather it did pumped out.Reason? Big companies and billionaires are on the line which it isnt really surprising that they would really be making out those market movements
without needing the entire community to get involved on.For now the adoption rate is becoming even more bigger as the days goes by.

I do agree with you here. Not all people can afford to invest in a very risky and volatile environment during these challenging times. Most of them will secure their basic needs first before anything else. Though adoption is growing owed to this pandemic but still ordinary people won't invest yet in crypto. Maybe, it will be a good option for alternative payment method because a lot are now looking for digital payment, that's when small time users come in. The big investments that are going into crypto will come from these financial institutions and top companies. And this pandemic brought a lot of them to trust crypto investments.
1349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk again on: March 12, 2021, 10:41:22 PM
What does anyone think about the latest tweet from Elon Musk in what looked like taking a swipe at Bitcoin?

Swipe?

Do you not know that Elon owns The Boring Company?

I think Elon's tweet here is positive. Not trolling or anything. Because The Boring Company is owned by him. So don't get too serious here. He maybe just want to advertise also his company in this simple tweet and giving a connection to BTC. Nothing more. And right now, he knows that his tweets have some impact in the crypto community. Just taking advantage of his influence in the market to have gentle promotion of his own company.
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Falling of Ethereum on: March 12, 2021, 09:57:03 PM
Ethereum dropped with around 3%. Cryptocurrency fall to $1778. Against bitcoin. Ethereum continue dropping

Almost all of the top coins are dropping, not just Ethereum, the global market cap is down 2.5%. So it's not just Ethereum that is going down, to be fair, so what's your point?

Are you in a panic mode?

Maybe he bought eth and he is scared that it will continue to go down. However, he should take a look at the overall market and see what's the trend. At the current rate of eth, still it is high as compared to previous years. And by the way, this coming month, where there will be Berlin Hard Fork, I believe will boost the value of eth. So for the OP, don't panic, eth is a valuable project not just a crap one like most alts.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Xenios Coin 🌍[XNC]🌍 An innovative Powerfull X11 digital currency! on: March 12, 2021, 09:10:40 PM
Hello,

As a miner, why even bother with a POW for this coin.  As pointed out, this coin is in no uncertain terms, not a miner's coin.  Furthermore, it is not a GREEN COIN, in fact it wastes so much electricity to mine 1 XNC if you mine that long for at most a cent.  Like the rest of the miners, no thanks, I hope you are not relying on the POW phase to move your blockchain!!

Right now, you can sell 1 XNC at about $0.42, checking in altilly exchange only. So if you will pay electricity bill more than what you can earn for 1 coin, then better stop mining. Maybe, it will be profitable to do the trading, however, the risk is always there as this coin is not that popular. They are not even listed in top exchanges. It is up to you at the end of the day. They are not obliging you to mine this coin, better look for other good alternatives out there.

Popularity is not what you should take a look at.. Binance appeared as a new exchange in 2017, look now

It seems that people have started to think negatively about this project by way of the conversation above. But no one can know what will happen in the next 5 years. At least they were willing to try.

Reading my old post above, the price of XNC last year when I posted here was $0.42. And look at the price now, about $1.34. So this project really did grow its value in the market. But seems, there are not much supporters here in their thread. But wondering what is the real purpose of their coin to the community? How are they going to sustain its market and grow their community here?
1352  Economy / Economics / Re: Why should i invest in bitcoin or other cryptos ? on: March 11, 2021, 11:51:47 PM
There is no obligation for you to invest or not in cryptocurrency. What is clear is that if you are interested in investing in cryptocurrency instruments, make sure you understand the overall concept of each project that you invest in. and do analysis to be able to get buy and sell points. the strong reason people invest in cryptocurrency is the offer of quick profits than we invest in other instruments . you can get to in no time

Exactly! It also depends on your priorities in life. What is important to you? Tangible assets or a high risk investment like crypto? Because if you want to ensure that you still have the asset the next day you woke up, better invest it in real estate or precious metals. But if you are a risk taker, you can go into crypto. However, you should know the risks involved in crypto investments. You can lose all your money in an instant without a warning.
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] ⚡AMEPAY- Crypto ⇌ Retail. IEO in BKEX + Listing in Bithumb Global 🔥 on: March 11, 2021, 11:29:10 PM
A real and working product is a good testament that the team is working. However, how many users are actively using this platform? And how many merchants are on board to utilize this service? Right now, we can't tell yet how Amepay will perform in the market. But maybe few months from now, we will see if they can truly attract customers to use their platform.

According to the developers, the main launch of AMEPAY products will take place in early April 2021.  In the second quarter, it is also planned to provide information on the buyback of AME tokens from the market.  So spring could be a great time for AME.

Buyback program will be of great help in boosting its value in the market, if they are simultaneously developing their products. Buyback alone will not give them optimum results but also the performance of their actual products. Let us see if they can deliver their promises this coming month, and see how their products will be competitive in the market. If there is no delay, and they stick to their roadmap, then we can say, AME team is respecting their plans.

What exactly is the role of your partners here? Like Binance, Bitfinex and Huobi. Are they listing your project on their platform? Do you have final agreement with them, or just planned exchanges? You have long list of partners already. High chance that this project will push thru if you have so many partners on board already.
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: EURXB Connecting Traditional Markets to DeFi on: March 11, 2021, 09:31:56 PM
EURxb in 160 seconds!

Want to learn more about our project and how you can earn interest just holding a stable coin with the new euro based EURxb stablecoin? We’ll tell you all about it! Spend just a couple of minutes of your time on our quick rundown!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dV-Gi8Lqm0

How do we know that you have actual assets tied to this euro-based EURxb stablecoin? Remember, last 2019, USDT admitted they were not fully backed by USD assets. Now, what is the assurance that you are backed by EURO assets? Is there some third party auditor that can attest the existence of your assets?
1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ATE] Albetrage Platform - First Arbitrage Betting Platform on: March 11, 2021, 12:08:53 PM
Interesting concept. As soon as it comes to a fruition, sports, boxoffice movies or election winners will be the usual participants on this type of platform. Just wanna take a look at the whitepaper and further review .

Thanks Moneyj, we will be covering all events, sports, politics e.t.c.  The whitepaper is well detailed and easy to understand, you can also read the tutorials.

Can you explain briefly why you can win here with confidence? We know that gambling is basically based on luck. Hope you are not giving  false hopes to players here. And once you launched this and your platform is already up, you can also post this in the gambling section in this forum. There are so many gamblers here and you may get their interest.

"April 2021 - Berlin Hard Fork (EIP-2565, 2315, 2929, 2718, 2930). Price prediction: $4k.

July 2021 - London Hard Fork (EIP-1559).
Price prediction: $10k.

TBA- Bogota (EIP-6969).
Price Prediction: $20k. 🚀🌕"

https://cryptobriefing.com/ethereum-developers-prioritize-eth-2-merge/
Key Takeaways
On Reddit, an Ethereum community member suggested that a merge between Ethereum 1.0 and 2.0 should be prioritized.
That means the merge could be prioritized over sharding.
Two leading Ethereum developers, Danny Ryan and Vitalik Buterin, have agreed with that suggestion.

Do you agree with their price prediction of $4k this coming April? That will be this coming month already. Though it is possible to happen but we should need some improvements in the eth network before that price will happen in the market. And if that will happen, then we can talk about this upcoming July price prediction. Right now, I will wait this coming month and let us see how eth market will perform  because of this berlin hard fork.

The main question that everyone must decide for themselves - does he believe in AMEPAY?  If so, then you should not pay attention to the current price and various delays ... All these are just temporary difficulties.  AMEPAY has a real and working product ..

A real and working product is a good testament that the team is working. However, how many users are actively using this platform? And how many merchants are on board to utilize this service? Right now, we can't tell yet how Amepay will perform in the market. But maybe few months from now, we will see if they can truly attract customers to use their platform.

Your link (above) to Etherscan is not working. So what is the token address?

You can find their token address from their website and get the link -

https://etherscan.io/token/0xdD0020B1D5Ba47A54E2EB16800D73Beb6546f91A

This project has been here since 2018. But why only now that they created account and thread? And it seems that only the Bilr product is the one up and working. The other three - ExpenseCore, PayBX and Digital Shares are not yet up. Are they going to develop this 3 products and deploy soon?

By the way, this is the coingecko link of this project and you will see the overview of their market chart.

I can't get mature coins in my wallet to start the stack even though my wallet has been open and online for quite some time, two weeks exactly, but I still get the message "Not stacking because you don't have mature coins" Sad

Is the dev reviving this project? I just remember, it was listed in erex.io but now, when I checked erex, they are gone. I think, I still have some coins on that exchange. Didn't know that they already exited in crypto. Sad
So what is the plan of the dev here? There is no website link also from the OP. Are they going to launch a new site?
