1341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: July 11, 2017, 11:27:58 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

I think you must do nothing because we cant force people to like bitcoin if they didn't like it because we do not hold their decision but the good way to tell them or to make them like bitcoin is that show them the advantages of it and teach them how it earns by some simple ways like joining here in forum.
1342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is it safe to store money? on: July 11, 2017, 11:16:37 AM
Hi,

Just wondering , is it safer to keep money at an exchange like place poloniex or kraken what not or a wallet like Electrum?

It is very neat to have it all in one place like an exchange, for example, I currently mine and use their address to deposit my earnings for bitcoin I used to give my Electrum address but now I'm thinking it's better to just keep them at one spot?

Pros and cons of one vs another?

TIA

I think the best way to save money is to put it in a very secure wallet like coins.ph or blockchain becuse if you only store your money in exchager like waves, bittrex or others it may able to go down the value and sometimes because of advnce computer it can be hacked and then it will all gone in just one snap.
1343  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Let's talk about Alt Coins on: July 08, 2017, 02:25:19 PM

1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: July 08, 2017, 02:04:30 PM
It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13419089/1/bitcoin-here-to-stay-but-banks-could-disappear-says-fintech-expert.html

What's your read on that?

Ofcourse no because bitcoin has its own descriptive and bank also and yet bitcoin is not a threat to banks that may able to make it disappear because bitcoin is a another way of currency which is digital that can also help in circulating our currency. Bitcoin may not be good at this time yet it is very good in terms of progressions.
1346  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ⚠ AUGUST 1: Bitcoin chainsplit (Summary) on: July 07, 2017, 02:42:39 PM
dapat ito ung binabasa ng mga kababayan natin para mag idea sila lalo na ung mga newbies at mga hindi pa talaga ganun kalalim ung kaalaman sa bitcoin thanks OP at nag bigay ka ng idea though most of us nman even hindi natin kababayan nag eexpect pa rin na walang split na mangyari kasi talagang maapektuhan ung value in the short run pero if long term investors tama babalik naman din ung value sa mga darating na panahon.

Tama.
1347  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Ano ang kailangan upang mapabilis ang pagiging NEWBIE to Jr. on: July 07, 2017, 02:35:37 PM

Walang ibang paraan Bro.
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SKINCOIN - CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR eSPORTS INDUSTRY on: July 07, 2017, 02:30:03 PM
I noticed that Bittrex and Polo hasnt been adding any gambling token latetly, i hope this will not affect Skincoin

SKIN is not completely referred to as a gambling token, its basically a token of trade for CSGO/Dota 2 items so I don't think there should a problem being added on exchanges.

i really hope this coin launch before TI 7 of dota 2, there will be a lot of transactions when the TI7 begin, and also dota 2 has 4 major in one years, there are a lot of potential if this project really exist,..

TI7 main event begins from August 7th and this would a great time for SKINCOIN to start off. Lets hope the developers are as optimistic as us.

Also, no more Dota 2 majors from next year, Valve is fucking everything up for next year.

Ahhh, TI is great, I always watch it every summer. Big events bring a lot of attention and new fans to the cyber sports scene!

I hope that Skincoin can take a good part of vitrual items trading market and will make it more safe- that's better for everyone Smiley

This a great news to SkinCoin the number one and the highest prize esport  as of now is DOTA2. Many people are on betting in there favorite teams. So if this has been partnered to steam, That would be great!

Yepp. I think it will be a good idea in online game industry if this SkinCoin will make a partnership between those online games like Garena,Steam and others because it will make it very famous and success. Skin will be popular and known in the indsutry of online games. Goodluck and Congrats.
1349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where can i buy bitcoins? on: July 07, 2017, 01:39:05 PM
Hi bitcoiners! does anyone know where i can buy bitcoin with credit card or paypal at the lowest fees as possible... thanks!

You can buy bitcoins online by contacting some people who are selling and ofcourse some person sells bitcoin if tbe rate is quite higher so that they will earn. You can also cash out in some shops or establishments like bank, fastfood chains and other stores. And also by signing some wallets and using your friends refferal you can also earn.
1350  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: For you samsung or iphone? why? on: July 05, 2017, 04:51:22 PM

1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you login to a gambling site with Twitter, Google or Facebook Id? on: July 05, 2017, 04:47:21 PM
Most sites, at least dice sites, provide either a login url (Just-Dice, SatoshiDice) or ask for a user name and password (BitDice, PrimeDice).

One of the benefits of Bitcoin gambling is betting anonymously.

There has been a couple of sites however that allowed you to login with your social media profiles, though they seem to be dead now Smiley

Do you think sites should offer the option of login via social media profile as well as the normal username/password?
it does not seem necessary because many gamblers want to hide their identity while gambling. in my country gambling is illegal so it would be better to create an account on the gambling site anonym. but if the gambler likes that option because there's no need to create an account on that site which is time consuming and just needs to connect it to a social media account it's good too.

Yepp. Most of the gamblers are like to hide their identity for future purposes and as we can see all people are using other username such as name of idols, pets or cartoon character because they do not wanto get accessed by other people especially the bad ones who will likely to scammed.
1352  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: ANO MAS OK "INVEST SA BTC OR MAG SAVE SA BANK" on: July 05, 2017, 04:43:19 PM
Thank you.

1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 05, 2017, 04:38:36 PM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

Ofcourse you need to know any coins other than bitcoin because in ordee to have a high profit. Alts coins are not shit coins because it depends on the person who is holding it because if you know how to value alt coins you will be irritated if you have one and you will be learn to hold it and in future you will have a good luck.
1354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: July 05, 2017, 04:28:31 PM
I want to know what you guys think about this, I have stopped gambling but still trade so does this mean I am still gambling?? I don't trade on basis of luck I trade using my skills would it still be considered gambling??

Please tell me what do you think.

Nope. Because trading isn't a bad way of earning profits. In trading you always use your mind and think ehat is the most efficient way and mose good investment so that you money will not go only on nothing and ofcourse to avoid to be scammed. And in trading you will not be greedy just like in gambling the money was very fats to lose.
1355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: July 04, 2017, 04:00:33 PM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.

Future Purposes ofcourse because we all know that the value of bitcoin today is very high because of many people are using it. At first when I was heard about bitcoin I told to myself that I want this and now I am one of the person who is earning it and saving it for future purposes and we don't know in the future the vakue will be tripled or quadruple.

That's a good news. Skincoins are very succesful right now and in the future also. Many people are looking forward to it. And I also believe that this project will not be scammed or whatsoever because many people especially gamers are waiting for it to try. Skins converted to coins, it was a bright idea though.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: July 04, 2017, 12:44:28 PM
Go guys!
In many cultures and countries is gambling consider as a bad thing which only the poorest and silliest ones do. Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consider gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?
Let others know!

No. Because being a gambler isnt about only having a bad attitude of spending all of his money in gambling.  Being gambling is a choice if you are going to be good or to be bad. Eventhough you are a gambler you must not be shameful and you must be proud because you are  a gamble that is not in bad way but in postive way.
1358  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: July 04, 2017, 12:17:11 PM
Quote
Some tech-savvy wedding-goers are gifting the digital currency to new couples. Honeyfund, a honeymoon registry that allows guests to give cash rather than gifts, has seen more than a dozen customers donate in bitcoin, said chief executive officer and co-founder Sara Margulis. In recent years, more than a dozen customers have chosen to route donations to the site from bitcoin wallets. Zola, a wedding registry website, has had just two cash funds created for bitcoins since 2013, a spokeswoman said. "I would expect it to pop more as millennials come into the wedding age,” Honeyfund’s Margulis said. “It’s something you will do if your friends and family are already into bitcoin.

Bitcoin as an retirement plan, bitcoin to secure the future of your kids, and now bitcoin as a wedding gift. Whether or not bitcoin replaces cash in future, it looks like the trend of gifting bitcoin instead of cash at weddings is definitely going to catch up and more wedding registeries would be adding bitcoin as a gifting option.

Quote
Avoid using a wedding gift "as an opportunity to proselytize a technology you personally believe in, but the recipient could not care less about."

People who are not into bitcoin might not appreciate getting a volatile currency as a gift, and might never use it, thus adding it to the list of lost coins, but I think people who are already using bitcoin or would most probably use it in future then bitcoin instead of cash is the apt wedding gift for them.

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/would-you-give-bitcoin-as-a-wedding-gift-2017-06-27

Ofcourse. It's quite okay and my wife will be glad and will be happy if I did it. Because bitcoin today as we know is very popular and many people are dreaming of it. And you can use bitcoin different aspects such as business for your family and buying things you want and ofcourse the things you need and will be needed if you have a family.
1359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins today and be a millionaire in the future! on: July 03, 2017, 03:30:11 PM
http://www.cnbc.com/2017/06/20/bitcoin-millionaire-erik-finman-says-going-to-college-isnt-worth-it.html

Have you heard of the story of a 12 year old kid who wagered with his mom that if he will be a millionaire at age 18 he will not go to college. To his mothers surprise he is now a millionaire and never went to college. His secret he bought bitcoin at 12$ with a 1000 $ gift from his grandmother.

If we also dream of getting rich in the future it is now time to invest in bitcoins. Many said that we will be experiencing bubbles more often, that is true but we have survived it and still bitcoin keeps moving on.

If we want to get rich invest in bitcoins today. The price of bitcoin today is at 2600$ and moving up but imagine its value 5 to 10 years from now.

Yep. I think it is a bright and good idea because we all know the history behind the bitcoin. Last years bitcoin are not that popular and only few people are using it. The value of it is very low and many people are just working on it and others are do not give them value so they sell it for low prices and after some years bitcoin has slowly became popular and it has good value today. It is okay to invest because there is a big possinilities it will be good in the future.
1360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 03, 2017, 02:54:01 PM
what do you think about this topic?

I think it is right because we all know that bitcoin nowadays are very popular and many people are using it because they know what is the value of bitcoin and they also heard a lot about it in others and they trying their luck to have a goo income and be a millionaire in the future. And ofcourse they also use it because the knew it has many advantages.
