1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (Unofficial) [ANN] Litecoin [LTC] to X11 algorithm hardfork on: March 31, 2014, 08:00:26 AM
TL;DR

This is a new coin, NOT Litecoin - they just take the name since they hardfork from the blockchain aka your addresses are still there but you can't sell those as "scrypt" LTC, it's an entirely different blockchain and the coin name is just missleading - better call them xLTC.

This has zero impact on the original LTC - xLTC is just another shit-coin...

Resynced wallet
http://pools.hashwell.de:8339/static/ is on the right chain again - can't really express without getting banned how much this annoys me.

Bounties are paid in BLTZ - better read OP again.

I don't want to be in situation with 34 different P2P codes.
I have no issue to release the info, but will like to keep it to one person to make the code. and OmarG is the guy applied for this.

Pubkey version alone would be enough as stated before, i could generate valid addresses and setup my miners with pool data - plus lets hope he doesn't fail you but that part is looking good so far.
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BLTZ] [IPO Hybrid] BlitzCoin | proof of concept coin | pure speculative on: March 25, 2014, 03:06:35 PM
No windows wallet = more for me.

Although i don't get why you don't release infos like ports, pubkey version and magic - it's not like anyone will use it except those who support you - if someone would want to "steal" your coin he could just fork bc anyway...

And setting up the windows environment on the day of release is kinda...unprepared.

Not really feeling it tbh, will still run the p2p node but your level of quality is decreasing.
1354  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: March 25, 2014, 09:00:16 AM
Can it utilize multiple GPUs?

  2: [GenuineIntel] Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.80GHz

-d 0,1 didnt work, -d 0 -d 1 neither ^^

Another fun fact, my 7950 seems to be just as fast as my 5850 - around 20 mkey/s

1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CACH] CACHeCoin released based on scrypt-jane on: March 21, 2014, 12:20:42 PM
I would not jump to conclusions that the coin is useless. We would not accept it for payment if we were not going to build further value into it.  Wink

Can you please give a link with the information about limited 24 hrs period about cache 0.01 accept rate? Why there was no info in the OP?

It looks like it was not there on purpose. I think a lot of investors\miners lost 50-100-150% of btc value because of their investments in cache due to that smart trick.
The price was stable for almost 1 month because of your promise to accept cache at 0.01 rate and after the cache price for asics was increased significantly, the market value dropped 2-3 times (please don't tell wierd stories about "bot" that crashed the price using maret manipulations). The whole story looks really shady to me right now.

I could explain it to you but honestly, why spoon feed? If you can't think and see relations for yourself maybe loosing your money will teach you a better than i will ever be able to.

I am sick off everyone who doesn't even care to read and then complains about things that were widely available and known, investing "alot" into something doesn't come with special care, use your brain!

You forgot the link to Ex0-BAMT
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=524478.0

And yes, the value tanked, which was as expected, Fib took orders for a day at a fixed 0.01 CACH/BTC and after that adjusted to market value, since the "discount" vs btc was gone the coin pretty much become useless - thus going down in value in par with all the other coins that have no use - i won't say anymore, everyone can think for himself about that.

A crypto superstar like yourself (yes, I recognized you Tongue) joining the BLTZ! That is huge! Only I was thinking you don't like P2Pools..

How come? I usually prefer p2pool, not another signup and especially for a coin that can only be mined for 7 days, it also reduces risk for pool operator to zero since no coins are kept on the server and the miner gets them straight to the wallet, win win Smiley

Plus they are easy to run and adapt to new coins unless they use new aglos Grin

but you hate those damn dust payments Tongue

I know what you mean. P2Pool is risk free for user, and so healthy for the coin network.

I usually don't get them xD especially not on new coins.

But yeah, thats one downside, if your hashrate is too low (or the network too big) it excludes small miners (below 1 mh) but that shouldnt be a problem on a 7 day sprint ^^
