Investing in physical mining is still profitable only if you are not mining bitcoin. Bitcoin solo mining is not profitable from a long time now. But there are some alternate currencies which you can mine and get the profit.
You will have to check with other miners to fix upon a single currency to mine. Monero I think is still profitable. But cloud mining is not a recommended investment. You may loose all your money. Instead buy rigs and start at home. It is even better if you have access to alternate energy source like solar panel.
You are right with it there are newbies that are getting wrong for the description of 'mining' because there are some people who are inviting them to invest in cloud mining as it is just like the same as 'mining'. But they are very wrong with it for it is just a scamming scheme just to get their bitcoins. And for the real mining, I would say it is still profitable but your profit will just be putted into your expenses like electricity and other expenses as well. |

i lost my bitcoin in investment programs in the pass and i think the amount is near of 0.02 bitcoin but i am thinking positive that i am learning from my mistakes and i don't have to make another mistakes. so for now, i will stay away to make an investment in any site, better i hold it in my wallet and only do trading for daily.
The same way as I lost my bitcoins too. Because I was a newbie by that time and I don't have broad knowledge with bitcoins so instead of getting serious I am just investing into hiyp's hoping that I will going to get good profit if I will going to wait my bitcoins there for months. But instead of hope, what happened was lost, a lesson learned already. I also experienced the same thing when a newbie, it's easy to be seduced on the investment site that offers great results in a short time like HYIP. I lost about 0.4 when it was, it was very big for me. but after the experience of it all, I was never interested in investing anywhere. because I don't want to experience the same thing a second time. currently prefer to grow in trading altcoin. Bitcoin gives you the opportunity to be the full owner of your money, which is exactly why a lot people store a part of their money into Bitcoin. It's amazing to have a digital solution to store money outside the current banking system. What else can you wish for?  For me banks are good and with high security and it is being controlled by the government even though bitcoin has good security too but it is not controlled by the government. Even the law here in my country is tough enough and they are implementing the punishment greatly. I would still going to keep on supporting and use bitcoins, because I am not related to any illegal activity and I can prove that in court whenever the government is going to accuse me for using bitcoins. Luckily we are reaching the price from the past so I guess we are at good terms now. If bitcoin can gain more momentum then I can say it is getting back where it started and will have a much better future. From the past there are not a lot of supporters but now many will stay to make it more valuable.

I do spend them in real life by converting to real money as that is the only choice I have at a moment as even spending online is limited to mobile top up and buying digital goods.

You can hold 90% of the coins and use 10% of the coins in the purchasing to help the circulation. I agree with this type of method because there are others saying that if you are going to hold bitcoins then you are not helping the circulation. So 10% is going to be a good percentage that you are going to use for spending in real life and you are contributing for the cycle of bitcoins in the ecosystem so that others won't blame you if the price is not increasing. |

It's good to be late than never , but there are plenty users out there who gets profit from trading with smaller amount as the initial amount and gets doubled even 10x with their luck and performance. I don't use bitcoin in many places this is because I want to safe as much bitcoin as I possibly can so that I can have the most profit possible.
The profit will start to come when the next halving comes which is in 4years from now I have this patience.

Bitcoin is not too popular in my country but its gaining popularity slowly and steadily especially in the youth, and I don't think that traditional thinkers will start using bitcoins ever.
yeah I think it's also the case in all countries. bitcoin is not so popular in many countries, but you can see bitcoin continues to spread. how much longer do you think need to bitcoin could become popular in a country if you look at the growth of bitcoin? 2-5 years again, maybe. Actually to increase the popularity of bitcoin only need to publish media to the public. I think this is an effective way, but the problem is what news could make bitcoin become a popular (especially in their own country) ? People will start having faith in bitcoin only if it gets recognition from the Government or else famous celebrities starts promoting it as people follow them and may get convinced easily. For sure if a celebrity is going to endorse and promote usage of bitcoin here in my country then that is going to make bitcoin really famous and more of the supporters of that celebrity will follow the usage of their idol. I see no reason why a millionaire will not use bitcoin, they are the whales behind lots of altcoin pumps. Probably some of them even did a bitcoin pump.

Well as of now they see it as nothing because it has not impacting yet the economy of banking industry. But once majority of the citizens of the country are able to use and adopt it for sure they are going to see it as a hard threat to their industry.
