13521  Other / New forum software / Re: New Forum by Other Members on: March 20, 2014, 02:53:25 PM
A most popular bitcoin forum must not managed by a kid have a lot of money and authorization. Clearly his behaves will give harm to bitcoin ecosystem in near future. I would strongly recommend to create new forum by other members like mods or RELIABLE users. Also I don't believe that open-source software which costs thousand of bitcoins, as other members.

There's nothing stopping mods or users of this forum from creating their own place. There are also other forums available, but if people can create an even better one then they should go ahead.
It's worth saying that there are actually many other forums based around bitcoin, but they haven't been as successful as this one. If the OP doesn't like it here, he should go ahead and try other forums.

Yeah, this is still the best and most popular at the moment and it's incredibly difficult to build up a userbase as large as it has, but I'm sure it's possible a better or competing one could rise up, but I'd rather stick with this place for now unless there is a clear advantage to using another forum.

Btw, why hero members get more than senior members? Obly diffrence between their sigs is background color and Prime Dice sigs does not use background color Huh

Yeah, these updated rates don't really reflect the signature sizes. There's a big difference between members and full members sigs yet we get the same. Hope we can get some clarification on this.

received payment, thx stunna! Cheesy
but dam those rates havent change for fullmembers :/

They did, but he changed them back for some reason.

Rates changed again for sr/hero member. Looking into a fixed payment structure currently.

Noo, I just got exited about that I get 0.0004BTC per post and now it is only 0.0001BTC ;(

Rates changed again for sr/hero member. Looking into a fixed payment structure currently.

Woah, what's going on?

Hero Member - 0.0004BTC Per constructive post
Senior Member - 0.0003BTC Per constructive post
Full Member - 0.0001BTC Per consutrctive post
Member - 0.0001BTC per constructive post
Jr. Member - Not allowed

Just 5min ago Full Members got 0.0004BTC and now it is 0.0001BTC Sad

Yeah, I know.

Can we get clarification on what's happening, Stunna? There's a massive difference between 1 or 4.

All payments for last month have been sent! Thanks all who participated. Please sign up again! Rates have been CHANGED once again to match competition. Smiley

PLEASE LEAVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK ONCE PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED, IT'S MUCH APPRECIATED Smiley.

no! stunna i waited  so much to reach 50+ activity! still i am a jr. member! okay, so my signup is now disqualified

I was going to say these rates are much fairer to all, but I guess it's kinda harsh to Jnr members, so I feel for you. Aren't the signatures of Jnr's and Members the same apart from the length?

Now we have to pray for the bitcoin price to raise! Grin

Price isn't that bad at the moment. Maybe Stunna will lower the rates if the price skyrockets, so be careful what you wish for  Cheesy.

Always postpone and avoid meetings with time wasting morons.

My $.02.

Wink

Why postpone them? I can't see what good delaying a meeting would have.

If you put them off long enough, they generally go away!

My $.02.

Wink

Or you might get fired. Depends what type of meeting it is Wink.

You will get exactly what you want here :
hidemyass.com      Smiley Smiley

Tor is still much safer. Does hidemyass.com log your IPs and what sites you've viewed?

Drake - Crew Love (feat. The Weeknd): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLGAAcDYtk0

Listening to the entire Take Care album though. Wish he'd do more of the ambient/laid back beats.

Stunna has paid out consistently for the past couple months that I have participated. Just breathe. Patience is a virtue  Tongue

It's not unreasonable to expect payment on the day that both parties agreed to.

Nobody is concerned that they won't get paid, they just want the agreement that they "signed" to be honored.  Putting "paying your advertisers" low on your priority list is a bad look, just from a professional standpoint.  If payments are going to come 3+ days after the pay period is over, I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate seeing that in the OP before they sign up.
Yeah that is actually truth...not blaming stunna thought but he should make it one of his bigger priorities solved withing 24h if he is offering this service.

I'm sure it is a priority, but I'm also sure there's more important things he has to do, but where does it say you’re guaranteed payment within 24 hours? Did you guys sign a contract stating that? I'd be thankful that the money actually comes at all because if I was on any other deal I'd constantly be wondering if they were going to pay out at the end of it. You guys might think it's not unreasonable to expect payment within 24 hours, but constantly moaning about it seems more unreasonable to me, and it isn't going to speed up payments. I'm surprised Stunna normally gets them out as fast as he does, but he should be given extra time this month any way because of the two different sets of payments there is to check and calculate.

Quote
Payment period will be the 17th of every month

I'm not complaining though. You can't honestly expect someone to go through all of those pms in 1 day..

Doesn't say anything about payment being guaranteed on that day/within 24hours, but I just read that as meaning that's when the period starts/ends not you will actually get paid on that day, but I guess it is a bit ambiguous the way it's worded, but like you said I think people shouldn’t expect to get a payout within a day and should allow some leeway for delays before complaining.

New members are constantly lured into some scams or get-rich-quick schemes

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=522956.0

To be honest, anyone who sends money to these scams has nobody else to blame, but I am in favour of stricter rules for newbs.

And why the hell are they just posting "take a seat!sent later"
13532  Other / Meta / Re: Show deletion count of self-moderated topics. on: March 20, 2014, 11:39:48 AM
At first I thought it could be a good idea, but it doesn't really tell us much and could even give the wrong impression. Maybe the posts that are deleted/self-moderated by the op should actually just be 'hidden' and other people can choose to view/unhide them and make their own mind up. Self-moderation is good for deleting spam and/or harassment, but it's mostly just used by petty tyrants who like to police people.

13536  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info is buggy and slow, Use blockr.io. on: March 20, 2014, 11:08:17 AM
Is blockr.io just a blockchain explorer and not a wallet?
13537  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain.info proving to be completely incompetent? on: March 20, 2014, 11:05:09 AM
Blockchain.info did an amazing job during this unplanned outage.  They kept regular updates via twitter and their blog of what was going on.  They answered 2 of my tickets I opened in a timely manner 1 of them this evening about the slow confirmations.

A database of that size will in fact need to catch up which for the most part it has done at this point.  They gave a timeline and resolved 90%+ of any problems prior to their initial timeline.

With technology problems happen you can spend multi-millions on business continuity and disaster recovery and still not have a true 100% uptime system as even Six Sigma (99.999%) uptime which is less than 5 minutes a year is nearly impossible even with an unlimited budget over a long period.

I believe they handled things well and can't even be compared to the other debacles such as Gox.  Open communication goes a long way.

I agree fully. I think they provide a great service and handled the outage well. You should have a wallet back up that you can use with another wallet whilst it's down any way. I think urging people to 'burn them to the ground' over this is quite ridiculous, but good luck with your one-man boycott, op.

Did anyone else get auto-logged out of their app? It happened to my account but not a friends.

web wallet services got restored last night...the iphone app got restored at some point this morning... everything seems to be all good now Smiley

What iPhone app do you use? The only BTC wallet app I use is called Baseline, couldn't find any official Blockchain app.

It was removed from the store by Apple a month or so ago.

I'm not sure if the 'payment period' is the day you get paid, but rather the term of a new month. I'm more concerned about getting any info on if the rates will be changing.

he is holding 100 BTC if I am correct

He's holding 100BTC for the raffle. Is he also holding 100 for the groupbuy?
