13521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIG NEWS: Europen Union Cracking Down on Bitcoin on: November 20, 2015, 05:46:07 AM
What I find ironic is that France did absolutely nothing to stop the Syrian terrorists from entering the country as refugees. Now they're just using the recent Paris attacks to justify "cracking down" on terrorism. Bitcoin can be used to fund terrorism, yes but that does not mean it is necessarily bad. The bankers just don't want to lose their financial grip on the world.

the terrorists LIVED and WORKED in brussels for many years. they owned a bar in brussels. held EU passports.. they then sold the bar to fund their attack.. hiring cars to drive from brussels to paris..

so:
1. they were not refugee's
2. it was like a KKK member from texas where they lived for years, driving to new york..
3. they sold the bar for Euro's.

also the OP of the top post has quoted a coin media outlet, who has tweaked the story, which was then using a reuters news outlet as the source. where reuters also tweaked the story, where a 'memo' was used as a source

the source
http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_MEMO-15-6115_en.htm

if you just use your browsers find function... has no mention of 'bitcoin'
and the only reference to virtual currency, is in regards to strengthening AML/KYC.

so folks.. the short story is.. never believe a headline!!!! always research the source and learn a thing or two

You are 100% correct, there are more to this FUD than most would imagine. The problem is, a lot of the ignorant people out there, who do not care to browse a little, will read this and accept it as the truth. Next thing you know they are spreading these lies on Social media and it becomes office gossip and Pub talk.

These nay-sayers are already in two minds about Bitcoin and lies like this just makes it worst.
13522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What s going on with Black Friday deals? on: November 20, 2015, 05:38:30 AM
Are we going to see a massive price drop after this spending spree is over? The majority of these merchants will be dumping these coins for fiat, so we would see a decline in the price, due to the bigger supply. I see this as another opportunity to buy some cheap coins, not to spend a lot of coins. ^hmf^

Enjoy the Black Friday, I will be picking up some of those coins. ^LoL^
13523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In which countries bitcon success the most ? on: November 20, 2015, 05:33:22 AM
My top 3 pick would be, North America / UK and in the European countries. I also see huge potential in India and Africa, if someone can find a way to link services like BitPesa. The mobile phone distribution is huge, and it could easily be targeted for mainstream adoption as a primary payment method.

Let's break the damn wall.  Tongue
13524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally, a good description of 21's bitcoin computer possibilities... on: November 20, 2015, 05:26:41 AM
Everyone is going on about the little reward this little device gives in the form of Bitcoin as a mining device, but just imagine if it could be stacked and modulated with cheap ASIC upgrades, and you get some decent mining operation running. This would then be the entry level starter kit for something much bigger.

Yes, You could go for cheaper alternatives, but for the entry level new miner, this could be a jump start.
13525  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin people – We can stop future attacks on Paris France, Russia and Syria ? on: November 19, 2015, 06:47:30 AM
Do you really want to stop wars? Then forget about using Bitcoin as a tool to fight governments. This technology will be stomped out by these people, if it pose a threat to their control and manipulation. Bitcoin is not a political tool for people to fight the system.

Get people to stand up for their rights, and turn off the televisions and get out there and use your vote, when it counts. These people are the product of your vote. < If you live in a free democratic country >

Then go out there and repair the damage that were done to people who were victims to these actions taken in the past. Bridges are build by people and as long as there are people killing in the name of religion, these bridges will never survive.

We are faced with ever dwindling resources, like oil, water, land and this will eventually lead to conflict. People will kill to survive and there are nothing we can do to stop that, other than to care for these resources in a responsible manner for the generations to come.

This world can only sustain a certain amount of people and animals and we keep on making babies, without considering the consequences on this planet.  Angry
13526  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone here part of "1 million club"? on: November 19, 2015, 06:30:32 AM
I guess if we had the ability to check how many Bitcoins people on this forum owns, you would be shocked. In my opinion and based off some figures I saw on Bitcoin addresses and their content, only about 5% of people own more than 10 Bitcoins.

It is a very rough estimate, but I would guess 30%+ of the active forum members on here, owns more than 1 or 2 bitcoins and then I am being very optimistic, because I think it might be even lower.  Roll Eyes
13527  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Much Would You Be Willing to Pay For A Bitcoin Membership Site? on: November 19, 2015, 06:16:41 AM
If you came to the site and told us that you had 400 whales in your team and they will join efforts to manipulate the price, I would think $100 / month would be a small price to pay for the returns you would be getting from this inside information.

People will not pay $100 / month, if the return is less than that and you have no guarantees that they will benefit from this financially.  Roll Eyes
13528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - one of the Terrorists Funding Sources on: November 19, 2015, 05:57:45 AM
The media knows nobody would be sued for defamation of character, if they post lies about Bitcoin on the internet and even if someone does go that route, they would have the backing of billionaire investors. The mainstream media is just a tool for a system that is corrupt to it's core.

They will report whatever they want to. The more controversial it is, the more income they will receive.  ^hmf^
13529  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Paris France ISIS Killer had $3 million dollar BTC Wallet on: November 19, 2015, 05:48:00 AM
This has already been debunked as a lie. https://twitter.com/postmoi/status/648159249491718144 and the discussion follows here, https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3t7mba/lewis_sanders_iv_reporter_w_dw_news_deutsche/

It just shows you how reckless these journalist can be. There is no editorial proof reading and responsibility to report facts. You just post crap online and apologize on Twitter. ^What a joke^

13530  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sept 11 Biggest Terror attack in history funded by Fiat on: November 19, 2015, 05:33:51 AM
We should actually take this as a complement.  Roll Eyes They are searching for ways to tarnish Bitcoin's reputation and 9 out of 10 times, these things are totally out of context and not linked directly to Bitcoin. They put us in the spotlight and we still flourish.

What value would Bitcoin have, if you were unable to buy weapons with it? What makes fiat better than Bitcoin for them to ignore that fiat is used to buy weapons too. < The fact that it's government controlled > The media side with governments and they will jump on any chance to report negatively on Bitcoin, so get used to it.
13531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin with Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2015, 05:24:05 AM
Well when you are 18 years old do some gambling just for fun.

Maybe you will get lucky that you win Cheesy
it doesn't take 18 years of age to play in online gambling, you are free to play, even though you were 7 years old
gambling is good enough to earn bitcoin, if you are already adept at playing, you can try poker or casino

Are you promoting underage gambling on this forum to gain income for kids? I would say that is irresponsible and reckless. Gambling addiction is not a joke, and underage kids should not be exposed to this industry at such a early age.

There are lots of other entertainment for them, and even some games paying in Bitcoin. Let them play that and leave the gambling for the adults. ^hmf^
13532  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Deckbound: collectible card games based on bitcoin on: November 18, 2015, 06:36:24 AM
I like the whole concept of a digital collectible card game and it is a excellent idea to track it on the Blockchain. The free to play option is a bonus, and for the real enthusiast you could buy special cards. The key to the success of this project are going to be the quality of the graphics being done.

The more impressive the graphics, the more desirable the cards. Looking forward to see the final project. ^hmmm^
13533  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] /r/NakedBitcoins Project [NSFW] on: November 18, 2015, 06:19:32 AM
You should rather offer the private pictures up for sale on the site and share the profits with the ladies. In every thread there are only one or two people tipping the girls and this might keep some girls from participating in the site. Is it worth their effort to pose naked for $1 or $2 ?

Just add a link to these archives on another site and offer them up for sale, with their permission  Roll Eyes

Hey Kakmakr,

This is something that is in the works and I totally agree. It could be even that a person can buy individual pictures from particular ladies , or buy like any one thing and they all send in pictures to the person.  It might not be worth it for $1 and $2 in the long run so you could be right. I'll see what we can do and great suggestion!  Grin

I think the best suggestion would be to introduce "private requests" for ladies to pose for pictures in the way the client wants them to pose. The ladies can then place a price on the request and you could forward the pictures. There should be no direct client to model interaction to protect the posters from stalkers.

I doubt if you could use reddit for that, but you could post the sample pictures on reddit and then redirect personal request to a external site. This would make it more unique. ^hmf^
13534  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Leroy Fodor's StakeMiners funding ISIS? on: November 18, 2015, 05:56:28 AM
It is our duty to report any suspicious findings linked to terrorism. If we do not do that, we might be the next victims of these vicious attacks. They have stated that their next target would be the USA. I doubt if they would do what they are saying, but the USA has to step up their security and take every warning seriously.

I cannot see why killing innocent people <On both sides> justify this kind of attacks. What a sad world we live in.
13535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody getting the 21 bitcoin computer? on: November 18, 2015, 05:44:47 AM
It is a over priced Geek magnet and "Out of the box" option for lazy people. I would much rather invest in a Raspberry PI 2 than buy this. That said, it is their first attempt at this and it might just fit a niche market. The marketing seems to be focused at the Developer angle.

I would have wanted to see something targeted at the normal consumer and making some sort of profit.  Roll Eyes
13536  Economy / Speculation / Re: now its my habbit that every morning i check bitcoin rate.lol on: November 18, 2015, 05:35:58 AM
I usually go for a piss first and then I wash my face and start breakfast. ^joke^ On a more serious note, I used to do that too, but I moved on from that obsession. I only check the price, when I visit the news sites and they have a price ticker or I use Preev.com  Roll Eyes

Resist the urge, you will go crazy and start to wake up at night to check it too.  Grin
13537  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cute cuddily Bitcoin symbol sweater needs feedback. on: November 18, 2015, 05:28:17 AM
Looks very nice, but I would prefer the symbol being places on the left breast, where the pocket usually are. The centered symbol in the middle looks a bit awkward to me. The symbol should also be a bit smaller, if it is located on the left breast.

But that is just me. ^hmf^
13538  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm dying while waiting bank transfer... on: November 17, 2015, 06:23:04 AM
You would dishonor Satoshi and your father, if you stopped commenting on this thread. You hate the banks and now you have a opportunity to show how bad they are, and then you give up when you are slightly offended by what someone commented on your thread?

This could turn into a practical example of how much better Bitcoin can be, compared to banks. It would even be better, if you could provide some proof. < Just blur out the sensitive information >  Roll Eyes
13539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the fashion industry. on: November 17, 2015, 06:00:14 AM
The fashion industry and Bitcoin could benefit if they employ the millions of unemployed people around the world, to do the work. There are a huge demand for handmade clothing and you still find the odd people doing knitting and such, so it can create a whole new informal industry, based on Bitcoin branding and payment.

I think it is a good idea, and I hope you are successful.
13540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: no matter what will happen to bitcoin.. on: November 17, 2015, 05:53:32 AM
I have always been a little obsessed by the mining field. <Gold / Silver / coal> and when I started out with Bitcoin, I got a opportunity to mine from my house. This experience was absolutely worth it and if Bitcoin failed, I would always think back to those days.

It is a joy to be part of this community.  Cool
