13561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon is not a man of his words! on: November 06, 2017, 07:31:44 AM
Can I ask? Who's Jamie Dimon?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamie_Dimon

Mr. Dimon spreads FUD and tries everything to bring BTC prices down. I bet he would buy Bitcoins by himself once price were low enough. Luckily the "stupid" people buy so much BTC that the price is skyrocking and little Jamie has enough time to think about his "wise" words in his glass tower.

He did spread FUD and good thing that he did that when the price of bitcoin is starting to increase and now we entered $7,000. He's a banker / businessman so he knows what he brings up and there are so many of them that are telling that they are no fan of bitcoin but for sure amazed with it's growth.
13562  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Supermarket Accept Bitcoin on: November 05, 2017, 10:26:54 PM
I haven't seen yet a supermarket accepting bitcoin as payment in our place, but i hope in the coming years supermarket here will start accepting bitcoin. If there is any one will accept bitcoin, the others will follow. And if that happens this will be great because it is more convenient and no need to bring more cash so it is more safe.

The same here and still waiting for those companies that are going to open their gates to cryptocurrencies. And the first industry that I've seen that's now into crypto is an agricultural company, they are opening their windows to the people that wants to have their shares on their company through tokens. But many aren't going to buy that since it's still a shitcoin and it's not a reliable ICO. Anyone has a list of supermarkets that are accepting bitcoin?
Yeah in my country a lot of the markets are having the bitcoin payment service and they are accepting the bitcoin. the bitcoin payment and the service is now being more and more famous so I hope in the future the bitcoin will be the best price and the value, I hold the bitcoin and the price of the bitcoin will increase more and more and soon all the markets will start accepting the bitcoin.

Really? Where is that place? What country do live? It's quite rare to see someone says about that since I think that there is still no supermarket that's accepting bitcoin for their payment method. Coinbase got more 100,000 for just 24 hours and this is also a good reason for those supermarkets to start accepting bitcoin as the people who has knowledge about bitcoin is starting to spread.
13563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100.000 new coinbase users in 24 hours. on: November 05, 2017, 10:16:40 PM
And so the number of people starting to use bitcoin increases that's just 24 hours it would be interesting to see those stats over the last couple of years.
This news is way back this early of May this year. http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/05/27/coinbase-ceo-claims-company-saw-40000-user-registrations-one-day/
So for just a span of 6 months there is more than 100% increase to the percentage of their daily registrations. It only means that they are popular, bitcoin is popular and many people are starting to step in crypto.
13564  Economy / Speculation / Re: New All-Time High at $7,598 on: November 05, 2017, 10:05:00 PM
Once again, and in less than 2 week the bitcoin price has achieved a new  high price and break  $7,500 range  on November 5 first time all-time, with out  add positive positive effect of new fork .

Demand In Japan and South Korea (the popularity of offline exchanges of Bithumb and Coinone ) exponential increase  .

So Why is the Market So Optimistic?

That's totally a big gain for bitcoin and everything is happening really quick. Not only Japan and South Korea does have a big demand in exchanges, also with some unknown countries that aren't too popular. Optimism is because many are believing that bitcoin can go more and it's possible can go up to $10,000 soon and even more as others are giving their speculations up to the sky which has no limit.
13565  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I'm going to open a shop on Open Bazaar... what would you like to buy from me? on: November 05, 2017, 09:56:12 PM
Expensive clothes and watches that is! Probaly the jewelry will do a thing too
I'll never buy such things like these ones, I would like to buy commemorative gaming coins that are popular from 1990s - 2000s. And also those clothes that are also into gaming that print on it like legendary games such as Mario's, Tetris and other those old games that made my childhood awesome. Those are of my interest now and if you've got it there I'll definitely going to give it a try.
13566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to be a Bitcoin Millionaire?! on: November 05, 2017, 09:45:24 PM
http://bitcoinmillionairechart.com/

Take your guess as to when $7,500 will be hit!

Wow nice chart. I want to become a millionaire but I have to wait bitcoin to reach $1,000,000 first. I'm very optimistic with bitcoin today though there's so many things that aren't happening according to my plan, I sold some with $2,000 so that's one of my regret and also sold some with $1,000. Anyway, I have to move on now and the price gets higher again so it doesn't matter for me as long as I have some bitcoin on my savings.
13567  Economy / Services / Re: Against BITCLOAK BITCOIN MIXER [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] .000005 btc paying on: November 05, 2017, 09:21:06 PM
What account's your main?
Forget about it mate, I doubt he'll give his main account and that's the purpose why he made his new account just to express his disappointment this way.

~snip~

You're working for a company and there are house rules that you have to follow on what rule they have set accordingly. And if you will complain that way then there's no reason for them to hire you or accept you with any of their campaigns. Try to improve yourself and there are some tips that has been given to you, don't take it as a word of pulling you down but learn to give yourself space and time for improvement too.
13568  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will the fork lead to? on: November 05, 2017, 09:10:44 PM
Most likely, nothing. The current forks are attempts at cash grabs, and only that. There is nothing about them that warrants any good reason to switch from Bitcoin, and most people simply sell off their shares and buy Bitcoin instead. It is like free money in a sense, so tat is really cool. lol
I dont understand these people that are keep on making forks. And I had to agree with you, most forks now are into making cash easily connecting its users to another chain. There are things to be discussed and this is a long debate for fork supporters but only one chain shall prevail.

I think the current fork holds some potential on the way where we will going. Segwit with LN or Blocksize increase. It's important for traders to know which way bitcoin is going to be scaled. Investors and users will also be interested to see if transactions will be faster/cheaper then what they are worth right now.
It has the potential since there are that much supporters for it and numbers of exchange are starting to prepare for it. Everyone hopes that majority will stay to the old/core bitcoin but of course those knowledgeable people who are living their lives with crypto wants to support this fork as it will improve mostly everything in the chain but yeah let's see on what will be the worth and result of it.
13569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam on: November 05, 2017, 08:54:18 PM
You need to better understand, and yourself check the scam or not. Because one site is not an indicator
That's why he's asking others as he don't know and he can't dig up that much with researching if that is a legit thing or scam.

This web-site looks poor and not very nice. Also now is a bad time for ICO. BTC is rising and ALTs are falling.
I find it poor too as it's very slow in loading but seeing the whole website loads it's quite neat and simple. Well most of the ICOs are just for the profit and you decide for yourself if you'll invest there but my suggestion why invest in ICO if bitcoin is more of a trend?
13570  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which wallet should starters use? on: November 05, 2017, 08:23:21 PM
Hey guys Im planning to buy bitcoins but I just want to investment little amount of money, not planning to exchange anything. Which wallet should I use for my iPhone or MacBook do you recommend ? Which one would be safer?

For starters like you the best wallet that I can recommend is go with blockchain.info, they are easy to use and it's interface isn't hard to understand. But to give you some info, there are many types of wallet the web wallets and example of it is blockchain.info while there are some good desktop wallet to for starters like electrum.

MyEtherWallet for ETH

He's mostly asking for the bitcoin wallet and not for ETH though.
13571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does the end of the year affects the price of the bitcoin? on: November 05, 2017, 05:57:03 PM
As the end of the year approaches do you notice or do you expect any influence on the price of the Bitcoin?
When holiday season starts to come people got more money from different sources. And in the way of thinking that its fine to spend more cash on everything but on these years people are starting to be more wise on how they'll be spending their money for better money handling decisions so investment instead of wants. And they start to out it on bitcoin so it affects bitcoin's price,IMO.

13573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people think about Mcafee statement? on: November 05, 2017, 04:59:48 PM
He's a crypto believer and it may be exaggerated but who really knows if this going to happen. Why not to see it on $500k it woukd be very beneficial to all of us as its going to be another great year and one of our best day ever if it will be reaching that price.
13574  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: November 05, 2017, 04:47:25 PM
I think everyone is different the way they get bitcoin, depending on their preference there are those who like bitcoin mining, bitcoin trading, because all the ways to get bitcoin all sorts
Yes not everybody prefer only one way to make money but most of them wants to have some source of income so others want to trade. And most of times people are doing both of it, mining and trading. It may be easy when we are reading but in reality its quite difficult and it takes a lot of time of doing it.
13575  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall on: November 05, 2017, 11:59:28 AM
Hey guys,
How do you think will the Bitcoin fall to $5,000 during mid-November?
Just interesting your opinion.
Even it will fall to $5,000 again that's totally fine to me but I dont really think that we'll be getting back to that price. If the price will be in a correction that will be in a positive way where will have the chance to buy some more at $6000 and its positive effect will be bringing it up to $9k.
13576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nov 16 Bitcoin Fork questions on: November 05, 2017, 11:11:29 AM
some believe that the new bitcoin will be better and can kill the old btc. Previously, new coins were given proportionally to the old
Its because many miners do support the fork coin (B2x) so they do believe that it will kill then replace the core bitcoin. This is a long discussion and many are still waiting to bitcoin to pump with higher price so we can't tell what will happen. And for the wallet, OP you can just simply use a desktop wallet that will give you the private key like electrum.
13577  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Supermarket Accept Bitcoin on: November 05, 2017, 10:01:26 AM
So far in my country, transactions using bitcoin are still lacking. only a few transactions can use bitcoin, maybe because they have not much understanding about transactions using bitcoin, maybe one day will be many transactions using bitcoin.
Its a major problem to bitcoin that many are still not aware and recognizing bitcoin. Time can fly fast and we cant tell on how long we will wait to see bitcoin being used for supermarkets and with other transactions. To be sure possibly we will be able to see that 2-5 years from now.
13578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a bubble? on: November 04, 2017, 11:08:11 PM
Never heard nor read this story but sounds interesting. It can happen to bitcoin but there's a strong resistance coming from its supporters so for me, its just a plain high demand. This is the nth time I've read about bitcoin is a bubble. And I want to say and support it that it is not.
13579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buy btc now or wait the fork ? on: November 04, 2017, 10:55:05 PM
Invest now before the fork happens so you'll get two coins after the hard fork. And you are into long term investment in bitcoin so it doesn't matter if the price today for you is quite expensive. Soon the price will even become more expensive so while there is time before the fork, buy.
13580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5000 USD on: November 04, 2017, 10:12:40 PM
If you had 5000 usd today what would you invest in ?
If I've got this $5,000 I'll all in first with bitcoin and let's see before the fork on where it will be leading. For sure the price after the fork will be getting lower so that's the time I'll be taking some profit and that profit will be into alt coins and the choice I've got are;
1. ETH
2. DGB
3. LTC
4. XMR
