I haven't seen yet a supermarket accepting bitcoin as payment in our place, but i hope in the coming years supermarket here will start accepting bitcoin. If there is any one will accept bitcoin, the others will follow. And if that happens this will be great because it is more convenient and no need to bring more cash so it is more safe.

The same here and still waiting for those companies that are going to open their gates to cryptocurrencies. And the first industry that I've seen that's now into crypto is an agricultural company, they are opening their windows to the people that wants to have their shares on their company through tokens. But many aren't going to buy that since it's still a shitcoin and it's not a reliable ICO. Anyone has a list of supermarkets that are accepting bitcoin?

Is there any Supermarket or Malls Accept Bitcoin near you ?
Bitcoins are growing with a fast rate.  Their prices fluctuates a lot.  As many Companies are coming forward to accept bitcoin.  There are some groceries store in United States which accepts bitcoins.  Bitcoins us trending.  And there is no day left when bitcoin will capture the economy and most of the supermarket will accept bitcoin as like any other currency.  Bitcoin comes with so many benefits that, no one can deny it.  Its attractive nature and advantages attract everyone.
In fact the rate is extremely rapid and in the next few years, I am trying to imagine what this growth would be like. Fluctuations in price is something we should expect sure enough until we see a massive adoption already and the changes won't be that bad.

It poses a lot of advantage and the more people start seeing these advantages, the much better it starts getting for the community.

In my opinion, there is not a supermarket in the world that can accept bitcoin as a payment method. If it has, then the articles and the media have rampant but I still see some small restaurants Accepted bitcoin payment for example, in my case you can pay a cup of coffee with bitcoin

Is there any Supermarket or Malls Accept Bitcoin near you ?
Unfortunately in my country we have no that kind of store. I think it just because most of the people here are not aware on bitcoin or it might not fully accepted here. Anyway, for me having a supermarket that accept bitcoin as payment is pretty good idea because it will be more easier for us to buy stuff. Yet, we could buy alot of things because it is volatile that could make the bitcoin price more valuable.
Volatility can of course be in 2 ways. No one likes the sound of the negative part anyway and for sure, we may end up seeing the likelihood of the price dropping compared to when bought, but over time as the strength of the community keeps getting deepened, the more we start seeing low ranges of volatility.

The regular usage of bitcoin in real life would apparently make it more interesting and would bring the value the more for new investors or users and hence cause the currency to increase in value as the demand increases.

I think only supermakets in Japan accept Bitcoin as an official payment . Cause their goverment accepted Bitcoin. The first country and this thing will create a path for other countries to do it. Japan is one of the best economics country in the world. Unfortunately , it's not happened in my country at this moment.

I search on Bitpay that you mention and I see this -
BitPay is a global bitcoin payment service provider headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. It was founded in May 2011 by Tony Gallippi and Stephen Pair. BitPay provides payment processing services for merchants, and is one of the largest bitcoin payment processors.

I envy you, I want that too but I don't have it for now. Maybe, this next week. Hopefully!

Currently in my country there is no supermarket or mall that accepts for bitcoin payment. The only way is to convert bitcoin into cash and pay only. But I hope the future of paying with crypto will become the main of payment.

in my country the use bitcoin as a means of payment is not recognized by the government, so no one supermarket or malls accept bitcoin
Yes I also heard that many countries have started bitcoin in their local markets as their local currency, like Japan, India, South Africa, Vietnam etc. this is a positive step towards the success of bitcoin and prevailing bitcoin all over the world. I think that if most of the people involved in bitcoin the price of bitcoin will also increase and the investors will make a huge profit through bitcoin in the near future.
It is a real huge positive step to the development of bitcoin. I am not surprised as these governments have taken the step to regulate and adopt its usage as a secondary currency for the benefit of both the citizens and the government. It is then left for whoever want to use it as a form of payment or still stick to the traditional system of payment. These developments such as this would definitely cause spikes in the value of bitcoin over time as we start seeing real usage.

Nope, I have never heard of any supermarket or malls nearby that accept bitcoin as payment. That would be very convenient if transaction process is free of charge. I think paying with bitcoin is really not worth it unless you’re buying something very expensive. But having to pay the transaction fee for cheap items is not the best way to go.

Miner fees will be free of charge? Well I don't see it happening anytime soon as it'll be a loss for the merchants if they will shoulder the miner fees and on the other hand it's not convenient for most customers as well to pay a high fee for his transaction to confirm fast. Thats why I also think that its better to pay in cash on physical stores but personally i think bitcoin is good for online shops as we can just use transaction accelerators regarding on the fees

Currently we will be quite difficult to find a supermarket that can accept bitcoin. Most who accept is a small shop, but do not worry because all this is still developing. According to the current news that there are some great e-commerce like amazon that will accept bitcoin. We must wait until the decision is widely published. If it becomes a reality then I will be very confident that bitcoin will become more popular and have an amazing price increase.

As I know there are no supermarket that accept Bitcoin for payment. Bitcoin is not legalized worldwide because of some reasons so it's not easy to find out a offline shop, store or restaurant that accept Bitcoin for payment but I think with it's possible if you want to buy anything online cause there are a lot of online market that you can use your Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to buy anything you want as long as Bitcoin is not banned in your country Smiley)

for in my own environment there is no supermarket or mall that receives btc payments directly.
well its not been supported as well from where am I right now, I'm still hoping that bitcoin will be supported by most supermarkets and department stores,
if this happen here then more people will start and adopt this investment, just needed to keep watching and wait for more updates.
I am personally optimistic and I believe that one day we would see more of it. I have seen quite a few around me and I am still seeing few springing up gradually. However, I feel the volatility is one major reasons why most stores or supermarkets do not want to start adopting it yet and luckily, do not know about anyone else, but bitpay has made the whole process easy of auto converting to fiat so that no one would end up being worried about the volatility risk.

Good to know there are few supermarkets around you already accepting Bitcoin. Only time will tell if it will be worthful for supermarkets or not, if so I'm sure more supermarkets around you will adopt it too and spread the word... When a store adopts a good idea the concurrency tends to copy it and do the same thing. The volatility is surely negative for most business, but as you said, they can exchange into fiat anytime... Storing only a part of profit in BTCs is a good strategy especially during the "beta phase" of adoption.

I understand you all man, about the liability to change rapidly and unpredictably of the Bitcoin currency. But what if there is a application or software to convert bitcoin on your own currency. So we can use the bitcoin to buy or to do something more than we expected. More or less this will be a world trend someday and it goes a lot of potential to develop this bitcoin industry.

Here in Belgium not many people have heard about BTC let alone be accepted as payment by a supermarket.
I talk about BTC at work, but nobody really knows it... they read about in the newspaper but have no further interest. I try to explain (as good as I can) what Bitcoin is about and how it shows potential to disrupt the banking system...
