1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ‘Young Investment’ Wallets at Highest Level Since February 2018 on: September 25, 2020, 08:09:06 AM

and are rarely send bitcoins
so what is the big deal with that  . we will be more happy if those wallets are being used actively but if not , the user of those wallets only test the bitcoin if they will like it or not and maybe not because they ended up leaving but we can investigate or watch those wallets if they will become active in the future  .

the investor interest remained strong even as prices fell back sharply to $6,000 in February 2018.
theres no way to tell if those investors are still the same except if they will do a survey and check all those that do a kyc but i feel that most of the users are quitting after the bull run .
1362  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoWow presents the Most Amazing Bitcoin Casinos! on: September 25, 2020, 07:33:02 AM
LOL, all of us fall for the trick and advertisement of OP. He/she seems to be very inexperienced promoting their online gaming portal here. Just posted it and then gone.

I'm sure he won't get any crowd here, the website is good, the UI and the layout. But it is not enough to promote it here as obviously, there is no crypto related gambling sites and obviously, his/her referral link is over. And I think this is not the correct community to promote it.

this is just a review site and theres no scamming or tricking users involved but its true that the way he promote is not professional  . explanations are limited and text are all on the side , they didnt buy a membership as well to be able to post a banner of thier site or they can atleast hire someone if they dont have the time to do those  . thier site is proffesional looking and theres a crypto based sites too if you will look on the categories or search it on thier search bar  . about the referal , they have the rights because they advertise the site there . promotion on this forum does that too
1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BINANCE,GEMINI,CZ,COINBASE TWITTER IS HACKED!! on: September 25, 2020, 07:00:37 AM

are you one of the team of gemini ? because id like to ask if you guys are aware about the recent hacked happen on youtube and involved party was this gemini project . here was the link to the news that im talking about : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277840.0  .

i think gemini is not the only one that  was involved in the hacked because if you can see the channel of youtube user was renamed to a different name and the added video was from a different crypto  .
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will $XRP be safe for long term? on: September 25, 2020, 06:24:56 AM
If you look at it in terms of enthusiasts, the development, market and volume of XRP looks very good especially now XRP is ranked 4 coinmarcetcap
proves that XRP is very well established the price is not too high very suitable for long term investment and I am sure that I will give a big profit

if in terms of enthusiasts they just keep on talking bad to this coin  . for the development i havent heard a latest update to the team but for the market and volume i can say that both are stable  . ranking is not also too shabby  for a coin that is being look down alot by so called experts   . price isnt that high but price isnt also that low either because there are also simillar ranked coins that has a verry small value aswell but any of those are a best buy whether we are a trader or an invester
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your Worst losing streak at bitcoin dice with 1.5 payout? on: September 25, 2020, 05:47:01 AM
I've never really played on 1.5X, but I once had a 19 roll losing streak on x2.
I don't use strategies like the one you've mentioned though, which seems to be a slightly adjusted Martingale betting system.

It's definitely more common than you think to see losing streaks like that and when you're using Martingale it wouldn't even last that long.
Since you'd be out of money before that happens Tongue

Martiangle only works for people who have lot of spare money so that they can multiply it after every loss and just in case after certain number of losses if you have to stop considering you cannot lose more then you are stuck because you have already made a heavy losses. Anything above 10 for me is time to stop and reading people have lost like 15, 20 etc in a straight is really a big.

And it can also wipeout your balance easily using martingale strategy.  Ive been doing that before and ending the same result in lng term. It can be work if you will widraw your winning every your capital make it double then continue to play using your remaining balance and stop if you think you win enough.

thats because you play for long term . its not martingale strat that makes you loose but its the gambling system  . how many times they remind us that gambling is getting harder to win the long run ? i have done what you said which is withdrawing and playing again or starting all over again using martingale but the results are now mostly loose after that but thats fine atleast you already secure your wins  before . sometimes i got lucky and my spare captital still wins , i just did same thing till the spare capital totally drained off
1366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Education on: September 25, 2020, 05:13:54 AM

"value your privacy", or "wake up your money is getting inflated!"  .  The problem is that most schools are ruled by government and I don't think that government would allow teachers teach about going against the government
i like these . these can be good title for a text book in schools if the subject is cryptos  . there are private schools and i think those arent relying on the governments because they are private anyway  ? not really familiar tho because i dont enrolled on private schools before but only in public and im verry familiar that public schools do have connections with the government  .

@op cryptos are a part of the computer  . if computer courses are not done manually then why not in cryptos  ? and is that even possible to calculate them without using a computer ? if it is then thats surely a headache and that takes time to memorize the formula's but in the end , people that learn it are still gonna apply it in the computer .
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin a sure legacy on: September 25, 2020, 04:06:07 AM
what the heck if i didnt open the thread i wouldnt knew that your talking to the other legacy and not the technical meaning of it because you know there is also a legacy in bitcoin  but i have less knowledge on technical stuff so lets pass on it ;')  . moving on to non technical legacy definition , yes btc is legacy or can be inherit , keep and use for future use   . you can rely on it if the currency on the outside world is un reliable  . bitcoin is bulky not less or to reduce the bulk that your saying , infact they recomend to transact bigger volume of btc
1368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we biased? on: September 25, 2020, 03:12:11 AM
We became too biased when we know how the market reacts in adoption and hype that can be in done anytime in the future.

we are biased in a good way , whats wrong with that ? this is also what makes people to be involved on bitcoin and we sure do like that to happen .

We had a mini crisis starting in March but we seemed to have recovered pretty quick. Now imagine that we enter a very deep crisis. A deep and long one.
Do you think BTC will appreciate?
i wonder whats that mini crisis you mean ? dont tell me is it covid ? because i havent heard of any crisis aside from it but covid is not a mini crisis  . if its mini then why the effects are so wide and so long that we still need to follow  safety rules till now  . this is a deep crisis already and this can be the deep among the deepest but as you can see , we btc supporters are still here  . we appreciate the downtimes more than the up time
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash what are your thoughts? on: September 25, 2020, 02:30:25 AM
Well I think their opinion of bitcoincash as a scam is very no brainer and nonsense knowing how good this altcoin perform in the market and if they are really looking in the chart of bitcoincash they wiill definitely have change of heart. I can strong say that bitcoincash is one of the best cryptocurrency that we witnessing so far.

those who claim that bch isnt a good coin are mostly high ranked users on this forum , i dont think they are not smart enough or  dont research before they said that but maybe they found a thing that they dont like upon thier research  .

its indeed anoying when someone dont agree on you on your choice because you know to your self that the coin is really an exeptional coin  but hey dont worry because im already a long time believer of bitcoincash  .
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: September 25, 2020, 01:41:44 AM
Usually kids do gambling like spider betting not to get money, but for fun.
thats not called betting but call it spider fights if no money is at stake  . kids wouldnt have that idea that spider fights can also be a form of gambling if not because of the adults that influence them.

I am actually very worried that the spider betting
incident by kids could become a new spread of the corona virus. Because surely these kids violate health protocols, such as
not wearing masks or not doing social distancing.
its not like a regular gambling that are available everyday but spiders are seasonal  . if its not thier season , you can rarely see a spider so no activites related to it   . kids are not also excempted to the rule of pandemic .  kids on our place are not playing spiders but only  to kites yet health officials roam to catch these kids if they see them outside .
1371  Economy / Economics / Re: Sales of wedding rings are increasing on: September 24, 2020, 11:57:52 PM
In a COVID-19 pandemic situation like now it is a test of loyalty for married couples, because they are tested whether they can
support each other in . Fortunately my partner and I can have a mutual understanding, so we can maintain our marriage in a bad
situation like today. I am quite saddened by the increasing divorce rate in pandemic situations, but if there is a divorce due to this
pandemic proves they are not the right partner, having failed this test.

thats genius . if there is a covid test , there is also a love test under this covid  but covid isnt the only reason to be blame when couples have miss understanding because there can be other reasons as well and the main known reason is being jelous , that happens when they saw thier partner talking to other people without investigating it first .

problems on regards to financial arent also new because couples especially if they have thier kids already have been facing this often but luckily love still keeps them alive .
1372  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best online gaming platform on: September 24, 2020, 11:32:35 PM
It's a lot of people who make money from casinos even in a short time they can get rich this way,
with so many casino , theres also alot of gamblers and there can also be alot of winners but winners dont like to public thier wins , thats why what can we see the most are only loosers because loosers only complain when they loose and not when they win  .

but we all can't do that way to play in casinos must have big guts for big bets with the aim of wanting to increase wealth but I never thought about this for me this is difficult to do and I will lose if I do it
how will you know if you wont try  . the only way to know is to keep on trying . you can bet small and try your luck on higher odd games or bet big and try your luck on small odd games .  just like what the saying said " get rich or die trying "
1373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My 0.1 BTC Journey on: September 24, 2020, 10:44:47 PM
yeah, since the title is btc journey, you should post your journey, it will be helpful to motivate some people here.

I also have experience in getting paid with bitcoin. back in 2016 (august if I am not mistaken), my friend asked me to create a website for him.
I got paid like 0.1 BTC back then. and then more order came to me, until I reached 0.8 BTC.
so far this is the highest amount of BTC that I've ever saved in my btc wallet.

yes it was in 2016. 1 year later, boom btc reached ATH.
but, too bad I've already sold it all before Sad

your story started happy but the ending didnt go well . btc on the year 2016 was still cheap so 0.8btc for someone that is a site creator is kinda small but thats okay because atleast you experience to use a btc for the first time  . now that you know that btc value can rose high , you can still try again . i know you can accumulate that amount or much higher than that with that skill you have  .  a journey doesnt always mean that its succesful but it can also started  as bad although you can fixed it and make it good in the long run  .
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is for day trading on: September 24, 2020, 08:36:04 PM
I concluded that there is no need to hold ALTS for a long time! I have a few projects I'm sure of, but I still wish I had sold them when they were many times more expensive than now... That's while I've been keeping them for several years! Grin
what your trying to say is that you could have sold at the right time but the point of the topic is about trading .

your coins are simply not the kind of coin that are built for trading because you see you still hold your coin because they simply cant recover easily after missing a good pump .

your not alone but the people like you that chose this path are just lesser than those who chose to trade .
1375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Question to Crypto users about its security on: September 24, 2020, 08:05:21 PM
There is enough logic in your words.  If the bank loses money, there is a chance to get it back, but once the cryptocurrency goes into someone else's account, it is impossible to get it back if he does not want to pay.

bank itself or bank costumers ? because if bank losses money they can print it back or they cant print unless if its declared that they wanted too but if bank costumers losses money , itl be back depending on the situation like if they got scammed or hacked . on cryptos this is mostly mostly not possible if done on a small transactions but possible if the amount stolen was huge because on the past there are miners that didnt process  those transaction as what have been order by an exchange that was hacked and also the exchange wont allow the suspected funds to entered on them .
1376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone know a dice game that is actually fair? on: September 24, 2020, 07:32:32 PM
-snip- So far I haven't come across any completely fair dice game. It was either a scam or the casino is taking some fees. -snip-
Casino taking fees doesn't mean that they are scamming. If they take fees without letting anyone know (might include in their ToS or FAQ), then you can call them a scam. But I doubt anyone does that.

every gambling site does require a fee and that fee is withdrawal fee . house edge can also be another form of fee because this is the way that casino earns .

as long as both of the withdrawal fees and house edge are not too much and add in if the site is provably fair ,  i still think that the casino is worth it to spend money  on
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm scared of ethereum gas fee on: September 23, 2020, 07:08:21 AM
At first, I thought maybe the fee would get back to the normal position very soon. But now I've figured out that soon it's not going to be normal like before.

everyone have the same thought as you but when you say soon , there is no designated time and date for that . if you cant wait and think that soon is supposed to happen now or already happened  , well you will notice that nothing have changed .

dont get affected to what they say  that this is now the new normal because we can return to the old normal if we will believe and wait .
1378  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet shutdowns by governments are bad for corporate marketing on: September 23, 2020, 06:29:52 AM
never experience a loss on internet for a long time but internet can be unavailable here if the networks are conducting a maintenance or if there s something wrong like thier towers were damage by narural events but im lucky because network operators here can respond quickly and problem dont take long enough like what happened on you case  which took 3 months , cant imagine my life like that if i was on your situation . however internet here is slow and even got slower and i suspect this is because of pandemic .
1379  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk, as a financial institutes. on: September 23, 2020, 05:44:59 AM
Bitcointalk is where people make money by participating in more bonus programs. People always bring signatures and try to spam them on topics to make money.
However, I still see the quality and knowledgeable topics. Also, we have other topics such as economics, politics, health, gambling, altcoin announcements ... These topics are also very interesting and interesting.

Yes , you probably earn here when you participate in promoting a project but I think the first and primary aim of Bitcointalk forum is to give and spread knowledge about crypto and some other related things. It is a group that sharing thoughts and information that others can also read and understand.
The quality of knowledge in Development & Technical Discussion and Bitcoin Technical Support is high class I cherished those two thread when it comes to learning stuffs that are too technical and complex relating to cryptos and  If couldn't  get first hand information from other sites I usually check those threads, a lot of technical issues had always been resolved or finding solutions to some issues related to wallets etc are well taken of.
Trading section is another thread has good stuffs for newbies to start their trading journey.
the boards posted by the first guy on this qoute are easy boards and those boards are mostly the favorite of the users that carries a signature but there are still few threads on those section that are technical enough and as well as the reply of users that joins the campaign can sometimes be on point too and informative . while the boards that you said are two of the other few harder boards on this forum . less spam on them but more on solid discussion which good if have concerns or want to learn more
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this considered cheating? or Ilegal? on: September 23, 2020, 04:49:01 AM
...
It's illegal to run a scam casino everywhere in the world and it's universal rule lmao. Even if casinos were legal in a country doesn't mean scam casinos are legal. So technically, a scam casino is illegal everywhere but a legit casino will be illegal or legal depending on the jurisdiction of the country.

That's right, it's totally illegal to do it. And this is why it's important to do gambling on sites with a gambling license, at least that way we know the casino follows the rules and they are provably fair.

how can those scam casinos start if they dont present them selves as legal ? but being legal also means it is allowed or not banned and not mean that it was scam . there are illegal gambling but are not scam because gamblers can still earn a profit with them . they called illegal because they dont consult to the government before they start their own business .  its risky playing on illegal casinos because if its been shut down you can loose your funds and wont get refunded or you can also get in jail
