1361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Ponzi Schemes - People are confused. on: March 11, 2023, 05:05:41 PM
The quickest way to make a profit from Bitcoin is through day trading, which is challenging as we all know. The alternative is to hold Bitcoin for a long period of time, which is challenging for many people who aren't into cryptocurrencies, because they lack the patience to hold and wait. As a result, HYIP websites and platforms seem more appealing to these people,
it's like a form of short cut .

I have told many people in my country that Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme. The problem is that they want to make quick money, so they visit websites that promise to turn their money into a sizable profit in a matter of weeks. These websites asked them to deposit LTC or BTC, which they did, and when the Pyramid scheme failed, they blamed Bitcoin.

This is normal because people like judging something they don't understand, and all we can do is keep telling them that Bitcoin has nothing to do with High Yield Investment schemes.
1362  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: March 11, 2023, 04:13:43 PM
I'm back with info from my investing in FUN token. So 09.01. I bought 12500 FUN token , so everyday I get 5 free spin.
***In 30 days its 150 free spin. I get 2700 RP and 0.00002400 BTC , rest was lottery ticket which is not worth.

Bad thing for me is that I give 37 sat per Fun token and now I can sell it for 30 sat. So I will rather hold it and hope that price / BTC will raise again.

I will post next month another post with all my winning on WoF.  Smiley

to return the price per 37 satosi on the FUN to BTC exchange, of course, waiting for the BTC price to fall again or really be in a bearish market again, even if you sell it in BTC when the market is bearish what's the point, isn't it necessary to see it from the value of fiat currency to see the point even  Grin
Meanwhile, he can keep holding on to his FUN tokens while waiting for the price of the FUN tokens to increase again. I think he can buy more FUN tokens at the current price because we saw the price drop by a few satoshis so he can increase his FUN token amount. With the price now at 32 satoshis, he can invest some money again and this time, he can earn more tokens than before. But of course, if we want to invest in any coin or token, we must calculate or know the risks we will face and only use the money we can afford.
Investing in cryptocurrency involves risk. Those who are able to take those risks are the ones who succeed later. The price of the Fun token is gradually decreasing and those who try to hold on from this time can be gainers. After 2018 no major pumping event was created on this coin. But in recent times, investors have been interested in it. There is always a large trading volume. It can turn into a great asset in the long run.
Holding will always win, that's a real law for investors who have strong principles to always hold onto their assets until the price really gets higher.
Currently the FUN token has a volume of $2 million from coinmarketcap data, that is a very high volume number for me.
So it's no wonder investors have started to be interested in this FUN token.
Maybe right now the price of FUN tokens is still cheap but see later when the halving comes and the bull market starts I'm sure the price of FUN will increase soon and the holding will be a winner
I doubt this, Funtoken have been around since 2017 and it's all time high was 0.33$, till this day it has never get back to it's all time high again, how is that if this token is really useful as you claimed? With whooping 10billiom max supply,  I think it's stupid to hold such token when there are too many useful tokens out there, it thus seem like Funtoken is one of the best gambling token out there, if that's what this is all about,  then I apologize,  but so far,  the performance is getting worse, when it comes to the bull market and past price actions.

Despite the advantages and disadvantages of Binance and banks, I still don't trust either. One belongs to the government and the other to a man, just like myself, who is free to do whatever he feels like with my money. I always make sure that my money does not sleep on Binance exchange when I make deposits, because I believe that anything can happen at any time. Cryptos are much safer when held in a noncustodial wallet. And as for Banks, I only convert crypto to Fiat when I need it, I don't keep money in the Bank anymore, it depreciates faster and never appreciates.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Too harsh on user? on: March 10, 2023, 05:06:37 PM
Is it right to call a gambling platform a scam for confiscating users account with the deposited balance because you use more than one SIM card to access the platform? The SIM cards aren't from same network provider, so their IP addresses are different from one another.

This happened to someone I know very well, but I found this to be too cruel,  different IPs on the same device shouldn't cause this ban, what do you think?

There are some gambling platforms that pray that users make this mistake and use the opportunity to sit down on their money.
1365  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kryptogamers Hive No KYC Casino on: March 10, 2023, 03:10:31 PM
Of course, no website is completely immune from hacking, am only disappointed that you guys are taking this as an excuse instead of looking elsewhere to the benefits of KYC.

If a website is new, my dear, you are talking 50/50 chance with them if they are without KYC. Because without it, it means they are not regulated. But you have higher rest of mind if they are truly regulated.
Excuse? Nonsense. 50/50 chance without KYC? More nonsense. I already specifically mentioned in my previous post that I have been gambling at several popular sites without providing KYC at any stage.

Also, no KYC requirement and features such as great offers, great customer support etc are what truly make crypto gambling sites popular. Think!
True,  KYC requirement doesn't guaranteed any form of regulation of any online casinos, there is no way a gambling platform will prove to users that they are regulated, many scam projects have stolen users KYC information and they don't know it, these criminals have other use for peoples identity.

At first, I always thought that KYC is the answer, the answer to fraud and other bullshits from platforms, later I found out that KYC requirement could be an idea to scare some people off after they win some money or they have other use for the information they acquired from people.
1366  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback🔥up to 20% rakeback 🚨 instant withdrawals on: March 10, 2023, 02:08:14 PM
BTW a new table games provider seems to have been added recently Live solutions, it's a really funny concept because dealers are running the games from their home through their webcams LOL Cheesy
Isn't that actually good for Livecasino because more providers and new types of games are added and played really like playing directly in a casino house.
And with so many developments regarding added games, it can also make more gamblers interested in registering and playing there.
I applaud Livecasino even though lately their threads haven't had too many visits by some of the other members but the participation of Livecasino's signature campaigns are always willing to give their feedback here which keeps the thread on top.

Man, that's something new for me. I can't seem to locate these Live Solutions games for Roulette though, my selection only shows 2, baccarat and blackjack.

I tried Blackjack, but it's just Classic, not even with all the sidebet options I prefer to see like from Evolution. And the first two tables I selected says Video Host not available, so I gave up. Also... $5 min bet!!

I often play here at the live casino, but I always play slot games where I only bet on Olympus, moon princess, and tome of madness. Sometimes I also play baccarat because apart from being entertaining, it's also simple to play. After all, it's easy to do even if you're a first-timer.

Then I saw a lot of community gamblers also playing in the live casino, and others are betting big here according to what I see who are also players on their gambling platform.
Just like me when I was on the Livecasino gambling site I bet more often on slot games and almost twice a week I visited Livecasino to try to find a good winning experience at Livecasino.
Actually, some time ago I also tried betting roulette and after several times I was unlucky to get a loss, I returned to the slot game and got a good return.
So there's no doubt that some people on this forum definitely bet on Livecasino, especially for slot games.
But I want to ask you have you ever had a good win from tome of madnes? because some people say it's very difficult to get a big win.
I spent some times with tome of madness, I got nothing and I just give up, Livecasino slots are my main thing and I haven't explored that much on this gambling platform, I will surely try roulette later in the evening, maybe I can have some win or maybe I should just stay with slots. I got more wins with slots than any other. A friend gets more luck with Roulette that's why I feel like giving it a shot. I think it's better to stick with the games you are good at.
1367  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Withdrawal Frozen For $12,800 & No Response on: March 09, 2023, 08:08:32 PM
Sorry for your bad experience. As far as Rollbit is concerned.
It's a well-reputed platform, and they never do the same.
However, I would suggest you contact their support again.
There might be some exceptional cases that cause this issue. I hope this will get resolved soon.

Well-reputed gambling platforms can decide to go bad at any time, they look for victims to victimize and pretend they did nothing wrong, other users that never get victimized will fight for them, saying they are reputable, and won't allow anyone to ruin the platform reputation, Lord have mercy, I knew about this from a friend who was also a victim of a gambling platform.

OP I am sorry for whatever you faced when using the platform, whenever you come across a new platform, that you've never used for gambling before, always deposit a small amount of money first to try the platform out.

Ask about KYC requirements from the team, before depositing any large sum of money on the platform and make some screenshots as proof, I have my reason.

1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will accepting cryptocurrency as a payment be profitable for business? on: March 09, 2023, 07:37:59 PM
You are the only person that can make this strategy a profitable business for you, my wife and I accepts Bitcoin in our wine factory and store, I brought this idea up to promote Bitcoin and create attention, I am already making profits in my business, the only difference is accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment instead of Fiat payment. Most times I see myself holding my gains and swapping the rest back to Fiat. So far, I can say its profitable to accept Bitcoin. Just my own opinion.
1369  Economy / Gambling / Re: What if bitcointalk creates a casino review and ratings board for members. on: March 09, 2023, 05:54:39 PM
I don't see any need for this OP, every gambling projects on this forum already have their announcement thread one by one, all you need to do is read comment from other users, you will be able to find out if the project is trustworthy or not.

You can give a bad rating to any project on the forum if they do something bad or complain to the team first, if they care about their reputation first, they will fix your problem, I still recommend using a well rated gambling platform, to avoid some disappointment.
1370  Economy / Gambling / Re: they are scamming us? on: March 08, 2023, 07:03:37 PM
The chances of losing when gambling is very high,  many people don't know this until they have lost a lot already, if casino owners make the winning chances higher for players, their business will go bankrupt very soon, for them, there is a lot to make when players lose. This is the reason why I gamble when I have good amount of money laying around somewhere, gambling is more than just winning, you can have some satisfying fun out of it, especially when you are into a particular type of games on the casino website.

Focus more on having fun than expecting to win some big money fast, winning on gambling websites comes when you least expected, this is why you need to gamble with money you can afford to lose.
1371  Economy / Gambling / Re: STARTING OWN CRYPTO GAMBLING SITE on: March 08, 2023, 06:06:06 PM
The domain a casino is using has nothing to do with the service they can offer, and while some of the casino names in this industry are not the most appealing, at the same time this is not as important, what matters is they do not scam their customers and that they offer a good gambling experience, but if you can combine this with a good domain name and brand then the casino has greater chances of becoming successful in the future.
Agree, Domain names are not very important for casinos. A casino or betting site mainly expands for its services and promotions. If a site can attract the attention of gamblers with their promotions, bonuses and also services provided properly then that casino gambling site will easily get noticed by the gamblers. If the domain name is good with these things then the site can easily reach the desired goal.
I don't really understand why people think that a premium domain and a good name and branding cannot contribute towards the success and authenticity of a casino or any service provider. I personally would prefer a casino or a service provider that has a premium domain and a good name and branding over something that is just put together in a hurry only to be launched, rack up some money, and get away.

A serious service provider will always focus on everything, starting from the look of their website to their services, from domain names to promotional texts and titles. Each one of these elements contributes toward the genuineness of a service.
A good name and branding is more attractive, do not mind anyone saying this is not important, for example I don't like visiting websites that are not Dot com, dot com is more welcome since I have been browsing online, out of the box, they look more trusty and reliable, follow by Dot org, the branding of the website must be a standalone brand, not copycats that looks familiar once you open up the website. Premium domains comes with reliable branding ability, it is already owned by a registry,  they come repacked with larger space, length and keywords, do not forget that cheap branding brings cheap results.
1372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie I stay off shitcoin and it paid off, Bitcoin is the king. on: March 08, 2023, 05:32:06 PM
Bitcoin is the king, but honestly, an average investor can't turn 100$ into thousands of dollars with Bitcoin, this is possible with altcoins, many called altcoins a gamble, yes they are right,  but the best way to come out with flying colors when investing in altcoins is, choosing various type of useful altcoins, from  Defi, metaverse to play to earn e.t.c, you only lose if you invested all your money on one altcoin. The more you have the higher your chance if making some money.
1373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you 'Will' your bitcoin to your children? on: March 08, 2023, 03:48:52 PM
*Then You Have Some Teachings To Do*

Since you claimed that the children had no idea that you have Bitcoin, I doubt that any of them understands how to handle a Bitcoin wallet or carry out any transaction themselves.

If your topic is referring to yourself, you need to correct your mistakes before it's too late.

I consider this a mistake because you failed to teach them about Bitcoin all this while, what would have happened if you aren't able to ask this question today and you aren't among the living anymore? Your Bitcoin will go to waste.

*Solution*

•You don't have to give up the private keys to them, because this can cause a fight among the children later, case of one been greedy than others.

•Like I've said, tell them to download Bitcoin wallet e.g Electrum wallet and send their shares to them one after the other, if you are rich, buy 5 hardware wallets and send the Bitcoins to each of the hardware wallets and hand it over to them.

•Tell them to learn more about Bitcoin by doing some research themselves, also give them some advise how they can mess it all up, I meant every possible ways they can lose their Bitcoin to scammers.

Venture capitals are private companies, they are no tied to centralised or decentralised environment,  they can do as they see fit or invest in any project if the developers demands it.

Bitcoin is a complete decentralised project that practice decentralization because its 100% true decentralized, there are other decentralised projects that claimed to be decentralized but it's all a lie, they use that to lure people who really can't tell the difference,  and when some happens you will see them not defending themselves as true decentralized project, they will quickly sheds their skin like a snake.

1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / There is no way to know unless I ask on: February 26, 2023, 06:28:34 PM
There is no way to get more knowledge in this crypto world than asking questions from those who are here before me, so friends, I will like to know if it's slightly even possible to get insurance on your bitcoin holdings? I've heard about this before but honestly, I don't have anyone close to being doing this, maybe someone on here insured their Bitcoin or it's just a fad.

I don't think this is a stupid question to ask on this forum so please take it easy on me if this sounds stupid, because, Bitcoin is decentralized, any possibility that insurance can cover something decentralized? Or you gotta give it up?
1378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Everyone Eventually Buys at the Price they Deserve on: February 23, 2023, 06:06:49 PM
It is not advisable to persuade anyone to invest in Bitcoin, and just because you feel that 17k is the bottom doesn't mean it will work out that way, we are still currently in a bear market so anything is still likely to happen.

I have a brother who planned to buy Bitcoin and other crypto projects only when Bitcoin goes below 10k, he stands firm on this plan of his and told me to follow the same step but I refuse, because I like doing something opposite of what everyone is doing, so I start buying Bitcoin at 17k.

I plan not to run out of cash, so that when unexpected opportunities arise I will have money to take advantage of the situation, I believe this is the best that anyone can do for themselves, instead of relying on what may happen or what may never happen, I say, be prepared for both.

1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos and Tech Devices on: February 23, 2023, 02:01:14 PM
It depends on the casino game you want to play on mobile and also if the website has a mobile version for its games, some games are better played on a desktop display while some still manage to run well using a mobile view, in this case, it is better to use gambling websites that support or build an app for smartphone users, this should not be an issue this days anymore because not all online gamblers have PC in their home, but everyone has a smartphone.
