1361  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador's success? on: February 17, 2024, 08:11:30 AM
What's your opinion? Do you support the way president Bukele tackled corruption and crime, or is he rightfully being called a dictator?

Government has only two major functions and any other ones are subjected to these two. And one the function is protection. It is the the duty of the government to protect his citizens for all means so if the dictator can provide adequate protection for his citizens then that is a good dictator, if he is not using it to commit genocide then let the dictator continue then the second one provision. I think the President of El Salvador is trying his best to provide and making things easy for the citizens. He provides bitcoin for all so that things would be easy.

There are some countries in the world are suffering for militias and such dictatorship government is needed to tackle those gangsters in the countries. And those guys activities affect the growth of the nation economy. And El Salvador was suffering for National Economy because of the gangsters and now that the president is dealing with the economy of the country has revived.

Last year, four or five African countries were seized by military personnels and automatically turned the governments to military governments and the citizens were very happy. And now from looking at things when the citizens were jubilating then there was something wrong in the Civilian Government. Civilian Government uses Democracy to deceive the massive to embezzle the National Funds, I will love to see a kind of El Salvador President.
1362  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Has anyone used the 'Bitgamo' platform for cashing out BTC without KYC? on: February 16, 2024, 11:07:44 PM
This is what people have been saying that when bitcoin goes up, different exchanges will pump up which most of them are own by scammers so if your don't know and you pay your bitcoin to the address then your will be facing one problem to the other until you lost your coins. So whatever you are trying to make a transaction make sure that you should be careful.

And as me this is the first time I am seen this kind of decentralized exchange platform in the ecosystem. And another exchange that works like this which is trustworthy is remitano. In Remitano you can sell you bitcoin in the exchange wallet and later transfer it to your local bank. I have used it so I know how it works but for this above one, I don't know it. So I will not recommend it for you and any other person.
1363  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What does op really mean on: February 15, 2024, 05:55:14 PM
I've already gotten two comments on my profile for posting trash and I don't know why I'm been condemned in such a way but they should also understand that there are people who are trying to do everything all by themselves without having any direction from others and as a matter of fact this is my first forum ever and I am trying to figure things out by myself and want to plead that everyone to bear with me please and don't also hold my worngs against me and I've been confused on what the abbreviation op truly means as I read that it means original poster but it seems it's been used in other context and I want to plead that you pardon me and clear me what it actually means.
Guy you don't have to be afraid just calm down and read more than posting since this is your first forum and the comments in your profile says when you post quality posts then they would remove the tags and that means you have to bugle yourself and do well and all what you have to do now is to read other people post and ask questions base on your reading. You were in eager to rank up so that made you to create things that are not necessary. Nobody is here to crucify you but to teach you what to do.

Now coming into the question you asked here, as others have given you the meaning, then I will not dwell on that again but just brief on dat. Op is the person who creates the thread or the the thread itself. Please go and browse bitcoin and read it and understand it then you can create threads on them.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will AI Take over the Position of VAR? on: February 15, 2024, 10:59:32 AM
This is a nice answer though everyone has their way of thinking and seen or understanding the thread so I will not not some are correct and while some are wrong but all are correct and depends on the angle each commenter understands it. Some say yes AI will takeover the function of VAR because VAR is not trusted and some if AI takeover the function of VAR what will it do? Well those are some of the questions we have to answer. I think the technology in the world is increasing every day and night and the new technology that will come and take over VAR from AI will be very much highly intelligent.

The errors of VAR is getting out of hand so they have to look for a new way to settle this problem.
1365  Economy / Services / Re: 👉 {Resume} Eloncoin Signature Campaign | Member+ [Funds Escrow] on: February 14, 2024, 07:07:32 AM
You are welcome back. We thank God that the campaign is back again. You have tried, well done.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Will AI Take over the Position of VAR? on: February 13, 2024, 11:43:00 AM
I have been hearing stories on Video Assistant Referee which is popularly known as VAR errors and and people are complaining that VAR is not doing well again so they should remove it while some are saying it is meant to favor one team over the other. And I can also noticed that in the 2022 world cup. And I saw this

And I also made research on Google and I saw more errors from VAR so I was also thinking that will the Artificial intelligence AI will takeover the position of VAR to give accurate results from the pitch? And today I have seen this again.

There is another story again. Joe Mourinho also advised the European Football Union to handover VAR to CAF because according to him CAF used VAR very correctly than the European league.

So what is your day on this matter. Will AI takeover VAR?
1367  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: This idea will reduce shit posting on the board. on: February 12, 2024, 04:42:45 PM
We know that the best way to correct people is to do the thing you are advising them on so I'm thinking that if our snr bosses can post more in the board, he number of shit post will reduce.
This is a valid point because it is true that the newbies can learn from the established members. If many established members are not posting topics/replies (especially topics that will be more helpful) on the local board, you can visit the English boards to see how established posters are posting. It is not that different from how posting pattern should be on local board.
What the Op said is correct but if the established members create thread or make a reasonable posts in the board the newbies do not bother to make comments or asked questions if they don't understand but instead they would create threads that are not meaningful and you will see only the the few people would reply to the thread. So with that many of the established members abandoned the board. There was a time those who have not been to the local board also coming here to post because at that time the board was good but later the shit posts and the spamming made them to leave again.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTX to refund customers at Bitcoin's prices below $18,000 on: February 05, 2024, 09:51:52 PM
Nothing is impossible because if B.C game was crashed and came back again and cleared all the accusations level against them, so FTX can also do the same to clear their own and becomes a repented cryptocurrency company to do well in the space again. Everything is possible. And all what we want is genuine repentance and not hypocritic repentance. The customers who lost their money in the time of the FTX bankruptcy should not complain because if the money which they lost at that time will be paid to them in the time when bitcoin was at $18,000, well it is better than none.

So they should accept it and continue their investment. Though I believed the time when FTX collapsed, the price of bitcoin was about $20k and below which was the beginning of the bear market of 2022.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: February 05, 2024, 09:25:07 PM
There are so many new projects launching everyday and some of them can be good and some of them can be a scam as well. How can we identify it well? Perhaps we should have more discussion about it so we all can learn from everyone's experience.
Before you invest in any new project, you have to observe many things or factors and such as the popularity of the coin, the uses of the coin and the community support of the coin and if you investing in any coin without those factors then it becomes to the popular saying that "it is for the owner's risk". If you lost your funds in the process of investing in the altcoins then you don't have to blame anyone because you didn't make a concrete investigation before keying into the investment.

Make more research before you start your investment in altcoins before you came out and cry.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What memecoins are you holding atm? on: February 05, 2024, 09:11:18 PM
As the altcoins or memecoins are too many in the cryptocurrency ecosystem world so most of us do not know which which one to even invest but the matter what and at least some people would purchase one coin and be hodling it to see if the coin will hit the All Time High one day. And for now I m hodling Eloncoin and I am getting it from the campaign. And I believe one day the coin will hit $10 and above.

And other people are hodling other coins because everyone can't buy one coin and hodle. You buy the coin you like and hodle it.. and the common ones people buy and hodle are Ethereum, Dogecoin, Litecoin and Solana coin etc. Some buy all the new coins come to the ecosystem.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for Jupiter (JUP)!!!! on: February 05, 2024, 08:52:41 PM
I have heard Jupiter coin or airdrop before but I have not taken it very serious, I also checked the price just now and it is okay $0.5352. from now till 2025, it will or might hit $5 if they the developers do well with the coin. Then the coin will be success and not in failure but in any of the above, all depends on the developers and their terms of uses of the coin. It is good to invest in different altcoins and if any hit well then you will the jackpot.

But not all altcoins are good invest because some there to just number or increase the total number of Altcoins in the ecosystem.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good time to buy Aptos on: February 05, 2024, 08:28:20 PM
Is it that some of the altcoins were and are hiding under the mega cryptocurrencies? Because in these days I have seen new altcoins every week which I have not not noticed before. And from your explanation of the rate of the coin in the market cap is very nice. If a coin is rated as $18 in the cryptocurrency market capitalization then that coin is trying it best and it has a bright future of it. Op you want to purchase more in the bear market or the coin and all I will tell is that be careful with altcoins.
1373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin [BTC] Price Could Reach $1.5 Million by 2030 Says Cathie Wood on: February 03, 2024, 09:27:23 PM
Bitcoin price is unpredictable and if we must predict the price not bitcoin to a higher price then we have to wait and see the next bull market so that we can tell the next bull of the market. And the 1.5 million prediction in 2030 is achievable because bitcoin is going higher every month now. And her prediction nis not too bad as well. Some even predicted that this coming bull will hit 100 million so if they predicted in that amount then it is possible for the 1.5m too.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: February 03, 2024, 09:18:17 PM
Compared to any other side Nigeria has faced in the AFCON, Angola really gave the Super Eagles a run for their money. Jose Poseiro proved his worth yesterday, he’s been under heavy criticism from fans for his style of play. The fans will be singing his praises now that he is getting it right. In less than a hour, we will know who our opponent will be in the semi finals. It’s half time for Cape Verde - South Africa, it’s been a interesting match. I’m expecting we will see some goals in the second half.
Angola was a dying lion to Nigeria Super Eagles yesterday. Mostly from 90 minutes time, omen, those players were like a lion on the field. They played with all their strength and all their might to make sure that they scored one goal to equalize with Nigeria and win the match with penalty but luck gone out from them so all their efforts were nothing.
And now Cape Verde and South Africa is playing and Cape Verde is possessing ball more than South Africa and the way I am perceiving, Cape Verde will win the match because they are oppressing their opponent too much.
1375  Economy / Economics / Re: My life plan for wealth and btc good idea on: February 03, 2024, 08:51:14 PM
Op if you want to know the price not bitcoin and buying whenever it comes down then I will advise you to download TradingView and from there you can be using it to monitor the price movement of bitcoin and whenever the price comes down you can buy it. And the best time to buy bitcoin is when the price is low so that the matter what you can make profit whenever the market is in bull run.

Some people would say that whenever time you ready nto buy, you can buy it whether it is low or it is high but that is not a good advice to an investor.
1376  Economy / Economics / Re: Why does a country borrow money from the world bank even when they can afford it on: February 03, 2024, 08:34:04 PM
Op I must comment you on this topic, I love the topic but Nigeria is not developed or advanced country and I will try my best to explain your question. There are two giant financial institutions in the whole world and they are: IMF also known as International Monetary Fund and World Bank. And these financial institutions are all own by USA but to make it subtle to look like a fair institution to all, they just shared some departments to other countries to handle but everything is handled by them. And these institutions are created to underdeveloped Africa only.

They give loan to African countries with very big interest to repay back. And they are sometimes they even force African leaders to collect those loans so to repay with heavy interest. They were never created to support African countries with financial aid. Yes they help Africa countries with some amount of money in some disasters time but the money they spend on those projects are not up to one quarter of the loan one Africa country pay back to them.
1377  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Herbalists Live Longer than Christains on: February 03, 2024, 07:21:56 PM
I don't have to read everything in the content because I believe only the topic has done justice to the content... And I will boldly tell you that has not happened in any where in the world. God has already perfected the longevity of a man on the planet earth so there is no need for you to compare  Christians with other religions and you can see that from the book of Psalms 90:10
Quote
The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
therefore any christian who lives beyond that age is from nthe grace of God. And Christians are living longer and more than any other persons in the world.
1378  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: What makes BTC stronger. on: February 02, 2024, 11:20:36 PM
Op you talk well and really di limited number of the coins make it stronger and because the limited number the demands and supply sef come dey make cost again. And because of the rate bitcoin dey go up na the dollar sef they go up and the matter dollar dey go up e no go reach bitcoin because the movement of bitcoin is not the same network with others. Bitcoin is cross boarders transaction scheme that has no boundaries.

And that means that you make transaction to others country with stress and low fee.
1379  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How to make Naija people show more interest for Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2024, 11:12:14 PM
Op I must tell you the truth. Those points you give or listed here e no dey motivate people to join bitcoin investment if you I am lieing try and see. And the only active aspect wey they make people to join bitcoin na your success stories. If you tell someone say bitcoin dey create financial freedom so make di person come join, Jesu who goes there? Dem no go listen you so you go change strategy ooohhhh. Op these you strategies e no go work out.

All those things you tok there are theoretical of bitcoin and we all know shey Nigeria theories e no dey work again so na the practical we dey fine. But you go fit convince the person na to tell am say if him go invest him go make profit from di investment. And after all these instructions then you can add the above mentioned to sum it all. Because the mindset in this time is to make and not to listen to stories.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you invest on this kind of offer? on: February 02, 2024, 10:52:57 PM
If a gambler is coming to collect or borrow money from your hand and use it to play gambling they would not tell you that they want to use it to play gamble but will deceive you to collect it and go and play the gamble and loss it to the casinos. But bankroll investment is good because it helps you to plan well to win and make profit. Though gambling is unpredictable because nobody knows whether you will win or not.
