Takeovers never work out well. Its best to just let it die.
You're wrong. Takeovers often end well. Examples are such NAVAJO and ZEIT  Six months ago NAVAJO 200-300 sat and ZEIT 15-20 ltc. See how they look now. no, no one is stupid enough to try to revive this coin so other people can sell out fast... This coin has a good name and the blockchain and the POS is running smoothly. if we had a good development team that cared about this. I would not sell out. we need to find someone can do positive things with this coin. I agree. I am still waiting to see what can happen with CC. I do not have great expectations.It has only 600k coins, but wait to see what will happen. |

Server attack update (05/06/2015 0400 AM GMT-5)
Yesterday, GorillaEx was the victim of a successful attack resulting in a significant loss of GorillaTeeth
I am happy to report an update on this quickly evolving situation. Less than 24 hours ago, GorillaEx had an issue that was exploited. We have made contact with the person responsible for this situation and all funds have been recovered. We are happy to annouce that every coin has been returned (minus transaction fees, that we will obviously cover) and the issue that allowed this to happen is being resolved as I type this out
It is a lucky turn of events that the person involved was very professional about the situation, and I hope becomes an asset for us in the future. Everyone involved in the Gorilla branding project acts on a professional level. Nobody was mad that this happened. Everyone involved has handled the situation very calmly and professionally, and I would like to personally thank everyone for the fast (less than 24 hour) resolution. All funds were going to be covered by myself and the GorillaEx team in the worst case scenario, but thankfully all coins have been recovered, so that does not need to happen
We fully understand the gravity of the situation that has just taken place. We asked you to trust us, I vouched for everything, and we let you down. Just please keep in mind this is a very new thing for everyone here and mistakes will happen. In the end, no coins were lost, and a few different issues with GorillaEx have been brought to light and fixed within 24 hours
Thank you to everyone who has helped us test the sites, promote the Gorilla brand, and all the coins involved. We look forward to a future of quickly changing, fast-paced development

Haven't tried this but I saw this in another thread: Start your wallet with -reservebalance=9999999
You can also put staking=0 in the config
ok you need to put this in the config file reservebalance=9999999 this works don't bother with staking=0 its was removed For what is this? to stop your coins all from staking lets say you have 100 TEETH if you put reservebalance= 50 in the config file it will only ever stake all your coins but the 50 Thank you very much! |

nope hes already made another 3 coins since he took profit on this one. RIP Maybe... But still I do not understand why he (or some another capable dev) could not takeover this coin, and continue development. The name is great, the price is on the bottom, the coin is already listed on all major exchanges, it has stable working blockchain, it has reasonably big community interested, its a whole paradise of a coin  , so someone who is able to develop, could buy loads of these coins for dirt cheap, and then give a second life to CC... I Agree with You. This coin can be profitable in time. |

For me anyway, I was successful withdrawing my Teeth and depositing them into my wallet, I'm happy to report.
