This is how I calculate the fair value of an altcoin in satoshis. Am I right?  I look at the buy side and sell side on all exchanges that the altcoin is listed on. This is almost impossible with some widely adopted alts such as Litecoin in which case I tend to look at the most liquid exchanges only. I calculate the demand and then the supply. I divide the demand by supply and whatever I get becomes the fair value of that altcoin in my mind. Then to get an even better estimate, I tend to only look at the orders 50% lower and 100% higher than current market price. I then pick the lower price as the fair value of the altcoin. It becomes a potential buy if it's trading lower than its fair value. Does it make sense to do what I do? Let me know what you think below! It does not make any sense because what you are doing is subjective, to me there is no fair price for any Altcoin including Bitcoin because of these is based on sentiments rather than fundamentals and technical analysis, until we start having trong exchange with clean data for their order look that is when fairness will come to the space |

I think that such criteria are the privacy of every exchange, and certainly every exchange has its own criteria for choosing a project, it is not possible for an exchange to choose projects randomly, because that can destroy the good name of the exchange. I don't know why the team feel they can raise money for their project, most of the projects in the space promising what the team is doing and even more have not delivered on their promises so far, PowerLedger, Watt, Restart energy to name a few, have so far being in a concept mode and I don't know about their burn rate by now most would have burnt all their resources and the tokens are more than useless because they are not generating any value for investors

Very nice project and just one of the few projects in the space that want to deliver real value to the users, but the concern I have is that for the project to be successful and out compete in the market it would require huge investment, because the likes of samsung and beat them at their game and even out compete them unless they entered into partnership with them

Apart from scam artists in crypto space we have too many unprofessional developers that falsely act like they are really good in a particular field and try to build blockchain based projects but failed in the end,if there is really any way to make blockchain available to only professionals that are qualified it would have been a different story for crypto,even scammers wont have a chance,this is why i think we need REGULATIONS pretty bad.
Regulated by who? thou I believe most of these scammers should go to jail but having Government dictating the pace of the development is bad for the space. Before Ethereum made raising funds in their platform as easy as A, B, C we use to have Escrow that would hold on to the ICO money and release the funds as timeline is being reached, if the system is still in place it would have prevented most of these scams in the space |

My was investing into the ICO projects in 2018, I didn't understand the bubble has busted and feel the music will keep playing, it was a bad decision later not selling the tokens also later thinking they will comeback to their ICO price but many never and most have lost more than 90% of their ICO price

For me in terms of transparency and clean trade, Kraken is the best, Although it does not have the huge trading volume like most big exchanges in the space because they do not wash trade. I like the exchange and I have never read anywhere that the exchange was hacked, give it a try
