1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: February 10, 2017, 02:30:34 AM

Now the waiting game starts  Cool Cool Cool

I was pretty busy lately, I will do another forecast when I will have time, I believe the price is extremely undervalued right now, so I can only go up from here.

The bottom is at 4000, and its swinging at the bottom like Bitcoin did around 200-300 euros, before it went up in 2015.

The same thing could happen to AMP too, it swings on for a few weeks,, and then it skyrockets back to 10,000-20,000.

Speaking of censorship,

Here's what I just received:

You have just been sent a personal message by Bitcoin Forum on Bitcoin Forum.

IMPORTANT: Remember, this is just a notification. Please do not reply to this email.

The message they sent you was:

That's right Synereo will be the best social media that will exist, because of the censorship resistance of it.

Please also add AMP to Yobit, it needs more exchanges, more trading volume, and more investors to make the price go up again.

I am an investor for 3-4 weeks now, I would like to see some results now  Smiley

@profitgenerator212. Where are you now? You are very quiet lately. I want to see more predictions from you so we can know where your crystal ball wants to take us next now that bitcoin is going up again. It is beginning to look like this will reach new lows soon.

I am still holding and I'm still bullish. I will put out some forecasts in the weekend, I had a pretty busy week.

Hope you are right

Only the losers are selling now. They dont deserve to make money.

Only the long term holders deserve profits here.  Smiley
1364  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Is my method a secure way to gather entropy? on: February 06, 2017, 05:29:14 AM
I have invented a new way of gathering entropy, in order to generate keys from it, I it all described here in detail:

https://steemit.com/security/@profitgenerator/generate-secure-random-passwords-or-private-keys

In summary the method is this:

  • Use the internet to find public data on it that has large information content: files, music, videos, etc.. , or add your own if possible
  • All files kept as secret as possible, for obvious reasons, if we want this to be our entropy source
  • We gather X number files from a search engine using random keywords, we gather another P number files , where X = P
  • Instead of using XOR, due to fears of short key, we just encrypt all the P files with AES256CBC with separate keys generated with the OS's default RNG, the AES256CBC encrypted files will be E
  • Then we take the 512 bit hash of the E files, add a random salt to each of them, and use these as separate AES256CBC encryption keys with which we encrypt all the X files separately with AES256CBC
  • Then all encrypted X file are already a unique good source of randomness, then we put all X files in a .tar file, and this is our MAINENTROPY.tar file

So when we just want to create a password, we just take the SHA1,SHA256, or SHA512 bit hash of the MAINENTROPY.tar file and that will be our private key.

After use, we just add another random file inside the archive, to act as a salt or nonce, and produce a new unique hash next time we use it.

What do you think?
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: February 05, 2017, 08:56:10 PM

Fantastic picture! I like Synereo because it's part of the new trend -> Reputation Currencies and Attention Economy.

Exactly, what is a social media worth without a currency. Zero.

Only those social medias will survive, that have their own currencies, that can be traded freely, and are not centralized like FB credits.

AMP is meant to be the speartip of innovation, and it will bring us a new world on the internet.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: February 05, 2017, 07:21:21 PM
NO AMP IS NOT DEAD! It will be the biggest social media project in this century! Facebook is dying, it will be replaced with Synereo.

WE ARE GOING TO MAKE SOCIAL MEDIA GREAT AGAIN!

Amen to that. Facebook sucks so much.

After Synereo is released, it will replace it in notime!

We should add AMP to Yobit, the extra trading volume from there should have a very positive outcome on the price:

https://yobit.net/en/addcoin/

Guys this is important somebody should contact the Yobit devs to add AMP there!

Are you serious? AMP is now almost dead, if scam exchange yobit(aka yoshit) lists AMP, it will die more quickly, so you make the panic deliberately? Nice job, dude.

NO AMP IS NOT DEAD! It will be the biggest social media project in this century! Facebook is dying, it will be replaced with Synereo.

If we add AMP to Yobit, it will get a lot of liquidity from there. Investors will come don't worry, it just needs to be in the spotlight.

There aren't enough investors from Poloniex or Bittrex to move the price up, but on Yobit you see huge volumes. I would love to get AMP traded there!
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: February 01, 2017, 12:30:45 PM

did you forget that the shorter the timeframe, the closer the price is from a random walk, hard to apply any statistics. plus AMP doesn't provide you with decades of data

Yes short timeframes like 5 minutes or so. I have put in all the data we have, and working with 30 minutes datapoints, so a lot of noise is cutoff through that.

I can't go with lower  data because my resources are limited, and the calculation is very CPU intentive.

A fresh market is farther from a random walk, than an old market. The older a market is, the more efficient it becomes.

what model do you use ? ARMA?

anyway, if you had a really working model, you wouldn't be showing off over internet, but rather keeping it for yourself.

No ARMA models are not flexible, it is a parametrized model with where the most common frequency and autocorrelation parameters are the input, on the sample data of course.

I have backtested it on itself and it showed good results, but it needs frequent updating.

I did forecast successfully the price jump part from 5100 to 5600, but the model is not a God, it needs constant updating and recalculation to stay in line with the new price.

I will do another forecast soon, and see what will come up now.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: January 30, 2017, 09:52:29 AM

Im guessing this did not come to fruition? Not sure.

It did went up a little bit, let's just wait and see now.

The forecast forecasted the price to move up slowly, not suddenly. So it may take a few more days until we see the uptrend being formed.

Maybe I got the timing wrong. I will do another forecast soon when I get home and with the new data that has came in, forecast it again to see what will happen.

My econometric forecasting model predicts AMP price rise in about 1.5 hours from now:  Sun, 29 Jan 2017 21:00:00 GMT

The next few hours should be a very exciting time, read more here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1758541.msg17665360#msg17665360

Wow

Edit:
This prediction is based on what facts ? Just market dump & pumps ?

Well it's a solid quantitative analysis model, that I have backtested, and had pretty low error margins. It may not be always correct, but most of the times it usually predicted the price with a small standard error.

Just read my speculation thread to see the results thus far:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1758541.0

We shall see what will happen quite soon!

My forecasts so far have been impeccable:

This is the results of my latest forecast, I have actually underestimated the price.

And this is the extended old prediction, vs the new data that has happened since then:

It's a 7.404% error, for a multi datapoint dynamic forecast, that is very impressive!

Now the interesting thing is that the forecast predicts the price to rise at about 1485723600 unix time, which is Sun, 29 Jan 2017 21:00:00 GMT

This means that there are only 1.5 hours left until the price rise. And with the new data, that I have added to the model, it also confirms this:

So there is an incoming price increase in about 1.5 hours according to my prediction. It may or may not happen, in which case I have to redesign the model, but so far the model has been accurate.

And also this is not an auto-fulfilling prophecy, if you know this or not, the event is supposed to happen according to this model. We shall see!
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: January 28, 2017, 08:30:44 AM

I would prefer that they did what I would have done in their place: apologize for the inconvenience and refund investors.

If you ask for money to organize a Rolling Stones show and then you find out your partner in charge of contacting them is gone and all you can do is contacting Maroon 5, would you still do the show? It doesn't matter how good Maroon 5 is! You must refund everyone (or everyone who shows interest is a refund), instead of "staying competitive". It is not about token price. It is about fairness, morality, principles and even legality.

Lol. Of course I would.

Both Rolling Stones and Maroon 5 would make me money, if I were an investor.

Sometimes you expect 5000% profit, but you only get 4000%, oh big deal  Cheesy

Do you seriously expect the project creators to know the future, and to tell you exactly what will happen? They are not demi-gods, they are just entrepreneurs, trying to create something.

And while investor are constantly bitching about every concievable thing they can find, they are still working hard on it. And it may not be a Rolling Stones, but I don't care.

It will be a very very exciting project that will probably make  a lot of returns in my opinion.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: January 28, 2017, 08:25:10 AM

They might be misleading us. I predict that in the next months they will scrap Rchain and Special K because it cannot be made to work from the very beginning it was conceptualized. In short Greg Meredith may have scammed the CEO of Synereo. He was tricked into thinking that Rchain will work.

Well there is no evidence for that, it could just have been sloppy overestimation from Greg's part. Developers always live in an idealistic world, and maybe his idealism didnt fit reality.

But I haven't invested in AMP because of the blockchain. I could care less about the blockchain. What I do care about is the social aspect of it, that is where the value relies.

A decentralized economy, built on a social media platform, all using AMP, and giving demand to AMP. Even if the data is stored on a few centralized servers, if it's cryptographically provable (their hashes is saved too to be retraceable, and immutable), then it doesnt matter. It could be done like that or with Storj, or any other way, That is not the point.

But when it will start up, and it will be a totally new experience, where people can choose what content they want to see or not, and not just that but there will be a constant demand for AMP, as being the sort of "premium currency", that will get your posts amplified.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AMP] Synereo Speculation on: January 27, 2017, 08:36:24 PM
I did pretty good with the last forecast. I have actually underestimated the price:

Although the curves are very similar. I will put out a new forecast tomorrow, and analyze more in depth the current situation. At the moment I am not at home so I cant do it now.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: January 27, 2017, 08:14:52 PM

You are missing the point. They are just erasing everything we chose to donate/invest and changing it for something else that only insane people would invest, with no deadlines. Even the blog (and its timeline) is in danger.

Then Dor comes and says deadlines are bad. But he chose to put deadlines to get lots of money and now changes everything. What a scammer! If he was honest, we would never see timelines during the crowdsale.

So you are upset that the dev team is changing their plans in order to stay competitive?

So you would just prefer if the old plan would have stayed, which would have lead to inevitable failure, and then the price would have really tanked.

This is the rescue plan, and it's solid, and I believe AMP will rise from the ashes like a phoenix. It already went up 5.4% today, way to go  Smiley

Also, you want quality?  Buy some fuckn WBB and hold...you can thank me by summer time!  Kiss

I went to the thread of this coin and the desperation there is even worse than here. I also read about the coin and I have no idea what this coin is offering to make it shoot to the moon.

Really?  Well, your loss friend.  Let's see where WBB is vs. AMP in next 6 months! lol  Wink

Just stop promoting other altcoins here. It's not just unprofessional, but it's also kind of a jerk thing to do.

1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero Lightweight Wallet on: January 27, 2017, 08:09:39 PM

Monero is not a bitcoin clone is why. Jaxx thought it would be easy to whip up an SPV wallet for Monero and got a surprise.

It's the electrum server that has to be redesigned to support Monero, not the client. The client can probably easily be modified in 1 day, by just copy pasting the wallet generation code, and the transaction code.

The server is what needs more work.
