1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have $10 to invest? on: August 12, 2017, 08:20:31 PM
buy all time low altcoin. and wait 1-2 year. maybe it get some value.
I think that if you only have 10 dollars to invest then there is no point on being very careful it is just 10 dollars for that amount of money I will take my chances and put it all in a recent ico or a coin that just came out of the ico and that its price plummeted you can lose your money but it is the best chance you have to make some money.

1363  Economy / Speculation / Re: I will not Die Untill Bitcoin will reach at Least 50K on: August 07, 2017, 04:25:15 PM
I am sure they can never be $50k per 1 bitcoin. It is unbelievable.
That's true. Bitcoin's value will never be that high. It's so unbelievable for me. But if it is that's great for us investors of the bitcoins. Lucky for us our money will increase tremendously without doing anything. I can't wait though to that time, if that hapoens I'm going to be really rich like a billionaire. And that's good for everyone who are accessing bitcoins.
Bitcoin will reach that value at some point what we do not know is when that is going to happen, it may happen in the next 20 years? It is possible, but in any case the most important thing to remember is to hold to your bitcoins because even if bitcoin does not reach that price it could reach 10k, 20k or 30k and we will benefit from that price increase.
With the ongoing development it's going to be huge in the future to come.
The limited supply will make its price to rise even more than we predicted and there is no limit of value if the demand
will continue.
I have no doubt that bitcoin despite being an amazing technology has benefited a lot from the limited supply, this is why I admire satoshi so much, not only he was proficient in cryptography and coding, he knew about economics too, maybe this is why some people think that satoshi could not have been a single person.

As we have seen, the price of Bitcoin is determined in absolute terms by supply and demand. If many buy Bitcoin, then the price will go up and vice versa.
I believe in the future Bitcoin will reach 50k.
Because over time Bitcoin will be increasingly scarce.
Bitcoin cannot be anymore scarce than it is right now by the fact that the miners keep mining bitcoins everyday, however since people that have big holdings of bitcoin do not have an intention of selling this will create a lack of supply and with a higher demand that will make the price of bitcoin raise very sharply in the future.
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: August 07, 2017, 04:21:54 PM
So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes
In my opinion not so gold is still better because gold is precious metal, and easy to sell it anywhere online or offline, if bitcoin only via online.emas and bitcoin there are shortcomings and advantages
For the long term gold may be better than any investment, but we should think to look for faster profits, and bitcoin is a good choice than gold.
to me i think even for long term investment, bitcoin is the best option. because from gold we cannot get such a good profit that we are expecting from Gold, i think from gold we can safely hold our money  because there are very little chances that Gold price will drop, but i think we also cannot expect such a good profit from gold because we can see only a slight chance in the price of bitcoin.
Correct gold is not really an investment, at this moment gold is undervalued and that is why some people treat as an investment but the truth of the matter is that gold is a store of value and not an investment bitcoin by being so new is is better investment in the short and long term.
1365  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: August 06, 2017, 12:07:42 AM
Bitcoin has so many limitations that can make one to comfortably say regularly currency is far better as compared to bitcoin. Some of the limiting factors include the following. Bitcoin cannot be use offline, bitcoin transactions charges is too high, not everybody know more about bitcoin etc.
Bitcoin is not perfect, so it is natural that there are limitations to what we can do with our bitcoin but I do not have a  doubt in my mind that the benefits of bitcoin outshine its downsides, for example bitcoin is decentralized, no one can take your bitcoin, bitcoin does not belong to any country, you can carry your bitcoin anywhere and you can earn a lot of money by just holding.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Choose altcoin for trading on: August 06, 2017, 12:01:22 AM
An altcoin with stable price for trading? Where is the logic here? Well, I'm not a fan of altcoins, I was investing by little in Litecoin, but it seemed get lost in the sea of shitcoins, so, I gave up about it and chose only Bitcoin for all my financial manipulations.
Also who wants a stable price for trading? The only way to earn money with trading is to have movement, the more movement the better for a trader since he can earn money in the way up and in the way down, if the market is stable the trader has no way to make money.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best crypto currency at this time? on: August 05, 2017, 11:58:00 PM

hi, everybody

What is the best crypto currency at this time?
The question is too general, what do you mean by best? If you mean the coin with the biggest market cap then bitcoin, ethereum and ripple are the best, if you mean the best anonymity coins then Dash and monero, if you mean the best new coin then I will say Tezos.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pay a beer with BitcoinCash on: August 05, 2017, 11:55:48 PM
BitcoinCash BCC is the future. Bcore/Segwit coin as we know it will slowly die.
It seem you are alone in this my friend BCH, keeps losing value and bitcoin keeps getting stronger it seems very obvious to anyone that watches the market that bitcoin cash is not doing well, people bought bitcoin in order to receive their airdrop and they have sold BCH and bought bitcoin which makes the price of bitcoin go up and the price of BCH go down.
1369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My experience with investing through CoinBase ... It there a better way? on: August 05, 2017, 11:51:39 PM
I'm a long term investor.  I'm making this part of my retirement plan.  I'm slowly moving a small percentage of my investment/retirement portfolio into Bitcoin and a few other "blue chip" alt coins, putting them into cold storage, and forgetting about them.

First off, I did my research and found CoinBase to be a reputable company, and I like that they supply litecoin and etherium directly, too, so I don't have to pay additional premiums to shapeshift them.

But in the downside, I'm limited to how much I can buy a week, and fees are a killer.  If I buy $150 in Bitcoin, I get a $5.98 purchase fee, and my Debit card companies charges me a $4.68 international fee, then there is a $2-3 fee to transfer the Bitcoin to my control.

All totaled, it costs me $160.66 to get about $147.5 to my wallet.  That puts my investment about 9% in the hole from day 1.  And since the fees are mostly percentage based, larger purchases wouldn't solve the problem.

I get that in 20-30 years if Bitcoin continues to grow I might be laughing at myself for worrying about $13 in fees per transaction, but they add up and are pretty significant... so I have to ask if there is a better way purchase bitcoins with dollars?

Thanks.

You can try local bitcoins, the sellers there are going to sell the bitcoin for an higher price so you are going to lose some money there but if you pay with cash or a bank deposit then you do not have to pay the bank fees and then you can withdraw, I don't know if this is cheaper but you could make your research.
1370  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: August 05, 2017, 11:48:23 PM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?

Not really. You just need to do some research on the previous flow of the bitcoin price. You must be aware of the current events that might affect it. As I always say on my previous posts with regards to trading, you also need to acquire good statistical analysis to know when is the best time to buy and the right time to sell.
Most of us has no capacity to get insider's information that is why we are just guessing but we do not just blindly guess.
We have a basis of our guess and we study it very hard because it is money and with money it should be taken care very well so
will achieve our goal to grow it.
Insider information is very difficult to get to anyone because even if you could get information about what I want to do with my money when I trade, the effect that I have in the market is very small, so the information is not going to be useful, you need to get insider information from the whales and for that you need to be a whale too.
1371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Blows Past All Time High $3,000 Mark, Holders Rewarded on: August 05, 2017, 11:45:33 PM
After all the chaos of the past month, hodlers were rewarded Saturday with a huge surge in Bitcoin pricing. At press time, BTC was trading at $3,104, a new all time high. Reddit exploded with the news, filled with a number of funny GIFs showing the exuberance of the BTC marketplace.

Fear of the fork
Many analysts had changed their perspective on BTC after the news of the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) fork was made public. There were those, however, who directed the public back to the fundamentals of BTC, encouraging hodlers to remain calm and not give into fear of value loss. It appears for today that they have been rewarded highly.

 Other coins
Litecoin (LTC) and Ethereum (ETH) were also up on the day, though nowhere near the substantial gains of BTC. Analysts have previously suggested that the fork was moving some out of other cryptocurrencies and that ETH especially was undervalued. The BTC increase also saw a correspondingly painful decrease for BCH, down nearly 25 percent as of press time.
It was to be expected, whether you are holding bonds, stocks, gold or in this case bitcoins, long term holders are always rewarded, bitcoin cash has always been destined for a failure and to be nothing more than a coin for speculators for the simple fact that is not something the community wanted, we do not want hard forks.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: World's Biggest AIR-DROP in History happening! on: August 05, 2017, 11:38:21 PM

Many people are waiting when exchange will enable BCH deposits. But they are still not ready to do that due to current network conditions. Now I'm checking multiple exchanges many times a day to check current status of Bitcoin Cash.
When they will finally activate deposits, the real game will start. But I'm thinking to not hurry to sell BCH. Maybe I will wait when people who want to dump their coins, will make it. And after that, we'll see how markets will react.

i think when it happens, there will be no good future/price for BCC because there will be huge supply and this supply is nothing but an air drop aka free coins. we all know what happens with the free coins  Grin
I just hope that these free coins are indeed free and that bitcoin does not end up paying the price for the greed of some miners, at the moment everything seems to be ok, but we know how volatile bitcoin can be, so I cannot wait for BCH to disappear and fail as project.
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are promising projects in development? on: August 04, 2017, 11:38:44 PM
I think another ICO to watch is the BitDice ICO, the white paper is not difficult to understand they are issuing the tokens to raise money to expand their casino operations and as a holder you have the right to some of the profits, since the casino is successful then I think that is another coin with good potential.
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just invested in DIMCOIN ICO on: August 04, 2017, 11:34:43 PM
And I've invested two times. But only get the first time token (Dimcoin). The second order does not come to my depotwallet though everything was correct .It should arrive at the latest today. But again nothing. Too bad. They forgot me.
The first time it worked better . That was on the 14th of July  Grin
The order of 20 July does not come  Angry

Keep pushing I know it sucks, I have been in the same position but you need to keep posting and sending messages so they do not forget about you, it is tiresome, but you also need to understand that an  ICO is a difficult thing to manage, so your coins may take some time to arrive to you but since the project seems serious then the coins should arrive at some point in the future.
1375  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: August 04, 2017, 11:31:42 PM
I suggest to try ICO, many members who have proved that ICO is very profitable and a good investment. But if you just want to be safe, then hold bitcoin and expect the price to go up is a good choice.
But be careful in investing on ico there are lots of ico now are scam they just launch good project but after the ico they are not gives the roi of investors.
I agree that much better to hold your bitcoin in your wallet and wait for the pump of value or just do trading in bitcoin to fiat to make an income.

If you don't have any knowledge of trading and Ico then the best thing would be to hold your existing coins for the future and by doing that you will make good profits as its very hard to find good Ico nowadays as most of them turn out to be scam.
I think there are some good projects but I think people think that just because they invested in an ICO they are going to get earnings and that is not the case you need to do your due diligence and see if the project actually has a chance to work, if you believe in the project then you can invest in it if you do not then forget about the project and look for something else.
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2017, 11:28:54 PM
According to the biggest disadvantages of bitcoin is: 1. It's price is very volatility and decrease/increase at a very high pace.

2. If your BItcoin lose, then you cannot regain it. In simple words you lost it forever.
Your second point is not really a disadvantage, as the saying goes, it is not a bug it is a feature, bitcoin is that way by design, this is to avoid any third party being able to chargeback transactions, while this seems like a nice idea that allows a central authority to take your bitcoins without your permission, that is why satoshi decided against it.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have $10 to invest? on: August 04, 2017, 11:26:55 PM
i think you should better invest in tokens like carecoin or some other pre ICO stuff which could be more profitable with a small amount of $10 and if not then losing $10 is not a big deal I guess. It don't seems to me that with such a budget there will be plenty of options to avail but any how you should try your luck in ICO.

Why should ETH continue to rise?
The price of ETH is very far away from its all time high so it is reasonable to think that at some point in the future ETH will go even higher than that price, maybe it will happen in a few months or years but it is going to happen so it is a good idea to have some holding of ETH and take the easy profits.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It’s time to buy TIME on: August 04, 2017, 11:19:43 PM
well it's not my statement but the team's official post https://blog.chronobank.io/its-time-to-buy-time-38283fde0db3 . Honestly do you believe in this coin? I just see dump and dump despite good news of this coin.
Of course they are going to say that, what else are they going to say, do not invest in our coin and dump it? Of course not, however if there are some improvement on the token then it may be possible a small increase in price may follow and you may able to get some earnings by trading the coin, but I do not see the coin gaining much value.

1380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: August 04, 2017, 11:12:27 PM
So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes
Wake me up when you can transfer $1 billion worth of gold for $2 in ~10 minutes from any to any location of the world. Roll Eyes

snip huge but very informative images

Stop convincing people that bitcoin is better than anything not only gold, I can't afford to buy a single coin ever since price jumped from $1100 to $1800 Sad I didn't realized then but now I'm not telling anyone about bitcoin any more, because I've realized that I've found a gold mine and what an idiot I was to shout about it every where.
Bitcoin becoming mainstream and with 50K transactions per second in the future as we all know is inevitable but we must take advantage while is in infancy stage.

Btw, is it $2000 which you can take cash out of a country when you travel by airplane or was it $10,000?
But the fact that bitcoin becomes a gold mine depends entirely on the adoption of people and business so if all people did the same as you and stopped talking about bitcoin then no one else will adopt bitcoin and it will stop of being the gold mine that you describe.
