Excellent guys, thank you.

Good to hear Smiley
Anyone who run it on rig, to tell us impression?

Any chance of putting up an .ISO, or is there an easy way in windows to go from .img to .iso?

Edit: I changed the file extension from .img to .iso and vmware is reporting no operating system found.

1364  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike 1 Avalon Asic chip Mini USB miner on: June 08, 2013, 02:44:39 PM
To clarify, I'm going to sell COMPLETED units to people when I get them made. I have ordered 592 chips in a group buy and am using them to buy and sell completed, ready to use, boards.

If they are anywhere around the $50 / 0.5BTC mark, I predict your entire batch of 592 chips will be gone in seconds.

Regarding this, do you think that an order limit of up to something like 10 k1's would be a good idea. This way people would be most likely mining with them instead of reselling for a much higher price like we saw with the block eruptors because anything over 10 and you would probably be better off just getting a k16. I just can see someone ordering 100 or so of these and then the rest of us scrambling to get one and having to buy one at a premium. I know this would be a bit of a nuisance for you but maybe we could have just a limit of 10 for the first day or so which would enable most people who want a small amount to get in and then after the first day people could start buying large orders and not take away the opportunity of many others.

Just and idea and thank you and BKK for setting this all up.

+1 for all of us that don't have 1000 BTC @ $0.20 each.

1367  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Groupbuy] Jupiter KNCMiner (0.5 BTC shares) 7 sold! 8th miner: 114 shares left on: June 08, 2013, 12:51:55 PM
Thanks tyrion70, yes that cleared it up for me.
1368  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Groupbuy] Jupiter KNCMiner (0.5 BTC shares) 6 sold! 6th miner: 1 share left on: June 08, 2013, 12:23:37 PM
1 Share gives you the right to 1/124th of the BTC proceeds from a KNC Jupiter Miner mining 24/7 for 24 months after deduction of costs for hosting. The remaining 4 shares will be owned by OP as payment for maintaining the miners.

Payment will be bases on the total proceeds from all miners in this group buy plus the miners bought privately by OP. We believe this is the most honest way to deal with payments and makes it easier to go public with the shares.

The two statements above contradict each other.

1) You state that each share gives us the right to 1/124th of the proceeds from A KNC Jupiter Miner.

2) It sounds like each share will receive 1/124th the proceeds from ALL miners

So which one is it?

8 Miners @ 350 GH/s == 2.8 TH/s / 124 == 22.58 GH/s for 0.5 BTC?
Or is it
350GH/s / 124 == 2.82 GH/s for 0.5 BTC?

If it is the former I will buy 4 shares payable on Thursday when my coinbase purchase comes through

Any update to this?

Not until avalon ships/ BKK gets his test boards...
The K1 boards are sitting in Bkk now but it will be a couple days before I can get in there to pick them up. I have about 6 packages waiting for me.

In the meantime, I do have the Klondike firmware running in the PIC chip now and it pushes work and manages a work queue up to 4 units. All of the protocol cmds seem to be working fine with my test app. I can send it work, multiple units push after each one is done, abort work, check status, send new config and enable/disable.

I'm working a bit on the temperature / fan control now. That isn't used in the K1 except maybe for thermal shutdown, but it's needed for the K16.

Good to hear, thank you for all of your hard work!

Are these suitable for the outside of my car window? i.e. will they stand up to constant sun, ran etc?

Edit: can you post a pic of one? It is hard to get a good view of it by your image on your ebay listing.

Id buy into a kick-starter (preferable paying in bitcoin) if it guaranteed receipt of one of the first batch Cheesy

+1

I would also be interested in lower denominations (0.01, 0.05, 0.10) to send as gifts for holidays to my family to get them started in bitcoin.
